I had no problems with A&W, but the last time I went it was different. They messed up the order by putting onion rings instead of fries, even tho on the receipt it clearly stated "fries" and we said we want fries 3 times. They also added some unusual spices to food (which I personally do not like at all). The spices were the major issue for me. It's a fast food industry and it doesn't state anywhere that they're using those spices. So it's really sad A&W becoming worse in Swan River.

Not satisfied while ordering on speaker. I am ordering on the speaker, oder taking person is very confusing and confuse me too.... Not once but more then 2 time Beyond Patty is not cooked proper. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. However, they messed up on our order. I can't have spicey food and specifically asked for regular mayo instead of the hot one. But they packed me with the hot one therefore I was unable to eat it. They also only packed us with one dipping sause for 5 chicken strips. By the time we got our food out, we were well out of town and could not return, so I cannot speak on their ability to problem solve. However, given the friendliness of the staff, I'm sure they would have resolved the issue.

Mozza burgers are by far my fave. Each town we go to for work or leasure that is always my go to. Sadly this Mozza was an embarresment to A&W. It was cold....dry...and HALF a slice of bacon was broken into 2 pieces...and was definitly far from freshly made....Was Quarter of what a mozza bacon should normally be. And the Rootbear was warm The Big Juicy Mozza was such a disapointment from this location as it was so not that! In Swan River MB I DO not recomend If i could post a minus i so would.

Normally pleasant experience, great food normally. But tried fhis time was different on account mozzarella mushroom burger and the sauce tasted like horseradish. Which personally I hate I went to ask to exchange my burger was met with very unprofessional reply. All of the staff were pleasant up until I asked for an exchange. I almost had to argue my point that as a customer I wasnt satisfied with the food. Now two of the cashiers were professional and wanted to work with me and listen to my concerns. I appreciated. They acted accordingly how you should treat this situation. but the older staff and an aggressive male staff member were not hospitable and had terrible customer service.....I was told to buy another burger. When I said "I just spent 50.00 on my family I should get a burger I like. I'm diabetic this is first thing I bit into and I dont like it." "Why did you order something you didnt like?" Was what I was asked....why you ask? because I was curious about the burger and the garlic aioli sauce that taste nothing like an aioli sauce was not advertised on your burger ad as a flavour. I felt very insulted how I was treated as a customer. I attend here almost monthly with my family. Hope they change how they treat unsatisfied customers and be more professional in future. This Male staff member made me feel as if I was taking the money out of his pocket. This has changed my view of this AnW for the future. As I asked I to speak with manger and they sent out him. To talk down to me and make me feel dumb for ordering something new......in future I'll just stick to the classics. As I dont feel like going through something like this again......

This is one of my favorite places to stop at on our way home from a long trip.The food and service are always delicious but today sadly our onion rings were hard and cold and our fries cold and unappetizing. My mama burger was plain, didn't even have lettuce. So my husband gave me some off his burger. The service was excellent. Yes we will be back .

No longer fast food. Unfortunately this restaurant has gone quite downhill since new ownership/management in 2021. I've had several bad experiences, but today was bad enough for me to come write this review. I was 2nd car in drive thru, only other vehicle was already at pick-up window. My order was two burger combos, and I had a coupon, so I hit redeem on my phone while making my order. I sat in the drive-thru for just over 15 minutes waiting for my order... I know because I screenshot my coupon which had only 5 mins left (from 20) before expiring! This is at 6pm in evening, when maximum staff should be on to provide prompt service! It's really too bad, as the previous management and staff provided such great service. Sorry, best to avoid.

always great food. Frontline Staff tries hard to please...despite being understaffed. She had to please a customer over the phone, who was clearly being a Karen over tiny issue.. which forced in-store customers to wait excessively long just to place an order... Drive Thru Clerk couldve taken our counter orders in the meantime...but chose not to, likely because of some illogical Corporate policy. Always stopping at this A&W... excellent food at fair price point.

Terrible service. Sitting in the drive thru right now for over 15 min. .smallest town in manitoba... never more than a couple in mine.. but yet.. on average waiting 10 plus lins for food. Half the time the drink machine is "down" ... no exaggeration..consistanly the worst a&w experience I've ever had compared to anywhere else in manitoba .. lucky they are the only one on 200 km radius. It's your standard A&W with what you would expect food wise, though it's often hit and miss as to the quality of the food. Sometimes the chicken is great other days it tastes freezer burnt and somewhat skunky. The restraunt itself is clean and well kept with an open concept the drive through is a little narrow and if backed up can clig the parking lot and even the road. It has free WiFi for those who likevto check their email while munching on a papa burger Its tucked out of the way at the far end of baker street and should not be confused with the one in the mall which has non of the above mentioned amenities.

As a reputable company in Kitchener I find the food at lower par than western Ontario. Cold fries and not many as well as the lettuce on my burger was rusty! This is not my first experience with A&W Sturgeon prior to that my hamburger was not cooked! As well as the service wasn't product knowledgable! And 5 people working at the time we came in!

Youre lucky I'm not given the option to post a picture so people can see these buddy burgers from our local a&w. I bought them at 345pm on Feb 5 2022. There's supposed to be sauteed onions on here. I bought 5. All the same. Looks like they scraped the crud off the grill and pressed it into a quarter sized circle on the center of the bun. Absolutely terrible. For shame you careless staff. For shame. You just lost a customer forever.

Getting better Try again I don't know how y'all do it but you messed up a bacon and egger. The new owners at swan River a and w are ruining our burger experience here in the valley. brutal. took 5 minutes to get order placed. would not take coupons. then ripped me off by adding an item but refused to say why it seemed over. and despite me saying it was wrong charged the wrong price. then when I finally got the bill and could see what they did, they refused to refund the money. Instead "come tomorrow between 10 and 2 and see the manager" . did call today...manager addressed issue

Update. Figured after a couple months maybe try this place again. Oh boy. Big mistake. Checked my order before leaving the window. It was all wrong and missing items. I give my food back mentioned that it’s missing items. They said I never ordered those items. I said ok I would like my money back. They said I assaulted them and were going to call the cops. After dealing with the cops and defeating the accusations. I do not have the food or my money back. When I was getting my order. She was trying to give me 2 drinks instead of 3. She stuck her big face in the bag and said everything was in there so I don’t bother to check. When I got home I found that I was Missing my fries. When I called. The manager was nice about it and told me to go back to get my refund. When I went there. The other lady that was giving me my order called me a liar and said she gave me everything.
