You have all the reviews of people like you who have information of the services of Woodgrove Centre (Mall) around Nanaimo area (Canada).
Now this firm receives a score of 4.2 stars out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is high, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we can say that the valuation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Love this mall. Heading back tomorrow!
Never over crowded, wide variety of quality shops and stores with a great food court
Why do they close so early??? Like 6pm is so early, they would get a lot more business if they where at least open till 8pm!!
Good mall...with the exception of not having a dedicated outdoor store for clothing.
Epic i got a anime figure here and it was great shes beautiful... im not sure on the store name but but its across from Spencer :))
As an elderly male caucasian after visiting Walmart I feel like a visible minority.
A huge mall with a huge collection of brands and shops. The food stalls are right on the ground floor with a number of options for people. I would definitely go back to this place.
Nanaimo biggest and best mall. Has. Has a wide variety of stores and something for everybody
Very busy location. Staff were pleasant but not very friendly. Just did the bare minimum while processing my purchases. The store was clean and well maintained but huge aggravation with the women's plus section.....these stores only ever have 1 or 2 racks of plus size clothing and this location was no different but it was very difficult to shop the one rack as it is against a pole in the store. I get that one rack has to be against the pole but why not put one of the 20 normal clothing racks there and not make the only two racks for plus clothing miserable to shop around. A few other layout issues I noted but for my family this was the most uncomfortable of them all so I only mention this one. We will most likely hit other locations just because of this. I would however recommend them to others to go as this was a personal issue for our family.
Absolutely despicable "human beings" own and operate this mall. When everyone is snowed in, when even the busses are not operating aside from one single bus doing an emergency route, they still have the audacity to call, make threats etc towards store employees and managers because no one could make it in to open do a DEAD MALL. I have worked in bigger and better malls that had more soul to them then these upper class wannabe's.
Pretty much everything in one place. Not massive but decent. Recent reno. Clean modern feel. Means you don’t need to go to Vic to shop if your on the north or mid island. Lots of other great shopping near by including Costco, Cabellas, Chapters and all the other box stores.
Honestly, it's an overated mall. The store variety is puny and lacking. Most of the good stores have been closed. If you begin to feel hungry you may think the food court would be a good choice but your artie's say other wise. Over all it's not a bad mall but it doesn't stand out either.
You can find everything here. There are almost always activities for kids. I wii oh Sh they’d get rid of the old play area by toys r us. Maybe donate it to a local school or child centre? Food court is ok. Variety and of cuisines. Some seem to be closing now so we’ll see. It seems the most popular is opa! Greek. Guest services are knowledgeable and great helpers. The kids carts are very helpful. I go there for Kurves mostly. Soft moc is also a place to go to for shoes, service and prices.
It's a mall, so not sure what exactly to review so I'll do this. The floor markings are good, but its confusing as someone who struggles to read when it says "WRONG WAY" I think it applies to me when it's upside down and I am actually going the correct way, but I can see how some people may need those when going the wrong way. Maybe signs so you can only see one side would be beneficial? I'm not sure, and don't know if this effects anyone else. Otherwise, not too busy, arrows are otherwise easy to follow, stores are following protocol as far as I've seen and that makes social distancing doable.
It's a meh mall. as of sept 30 2020 new owners and management /staff have implemented covid 19 guidelines and rules for everyone going to this mall. i havent been in a long time, but i hear that the new owners are doing good things so cheers and kudos to them. i think it may be awhile til everything gets back to a new kind of normal. whatever that is, im sure we will all take it just one day at a time. cheers all. and hi to the cutie with black hair who works at the spencers gifts. i do so hope youre still there.
Good place to do shopping with a parking lot and bus stop nearby
Very busy, but friendly service in every store. Closing time was a little mixed up. One store told us that everything was going to be open until 8 PM , but then it was announced that the mall was closing at 6 PM, we had to rush out.
Stores have come and gone during Covid times. It's sad but this mall seemed over priced with marginal stock.
Pretty decent mall. Had a lot of relevant stores for its size.
Over priced food court. Food sitting to long.
Not the best hours for a mall however some good basic stores you'll find at most malls, and good coffee shops!
Nice mall, everything you'ld need for the entire family.
A great Shopping Mall. Lots to see and do. Always helpful courteous staff and comfortable chill areas.
Following COVID procedures quite well, but I wish they would enforce the separation of the two different sides of the corridor as people don’t like to follow or don’t see the arrows clearly plastered all over. Other than that, very cleanly and still a good place to shop even as COVID continues with its attached array of procedures. I do wish they would get more clothing stores as opposed to things like Bath & Body Works, as in recent years many clothing stores have been replaced by such places.
Boy talk about the Green Mile, this store has many different venues! From cooking stores, The Bay, Winner's; just to name a few! To even a few different locations to eat from Taco Bell, Opa's, Edo, New York fries! The place is great to buy that special someone a nice gift or just a quick bite to eat! Judging from the size of this mall, it'd probably take the whole day to shop end from end
Pretty great selection, if you shop carefully you can find some real nice buys. Not many malls have lasted this long. I would say they do a very good job. Easy in an easy out, great location.
Best mall in town so I and many other teenagers have spent many hours wandering the halls window shoping and eating the ok foodcort food.
great mall tons of great stores and awsome little kiosks all thru the mall , we highly recommend this mall as it has something for everyone !! It also has a great selection of food in the food court area , best of all when your shopping is complete kick back and enjoy a movie at avalon theatre its right by the food court , this theatre offers free refills on pop a popcorn which is unheard of nowadays!! Do all your shopping here as there's even a wallmart! ! ENJOY YOUR SHOPPING!!
Good place for a small town, got walmart which is biggest perk I guess, a cinema, several clothing brands like GAP, URBAN CLOTHS, and some cellphone providers like bell and rogers. I guess most of the busses goes there like the 40s and 15s
The mall is usually busy. Lots of snow and ice in the parking lot.
Probably the most popular central island mall. Obviously have not frequented often in the last year due to Covid-19. As far as malls go its a good one. I was in and out of there in less 30 minutes and got what I wanted and found the stores easily (Warehouse One for 2 pairs of jeans for my husband and Mountain Warehouse for two men's Hoosier on specialt). Was there on a Monday at 4pm. Everyone respected social distancing. Can imagine that might be tricky on the weekend due to heavier traffic. Im sure when pandemic winds down and everyone is vaccinated it will be packed as always has been. Especially if movie theaters re-open.
Excellent shopping centre in Nanaimo. Everything you need should be here! It is a great mall for doing Christmas shopping, for example. Everything is kept extremely clean, and there is lots of space; it is not crammed at all. There are so many different stores to choose from and to browse. Lots of parking is available outside, too. Definitely the best mall in Nanaimo!
Vast mall with nearly every conceivable shop to entertain one. Walmart of course takes major points for attracting maximum crowds.
It's a great place to access the myriad of products that quench the domestic needs of every day living. The hours are convenient, from morning to night. As well it is a safe inviroment for the kids of all ages.
It has a large variety of outlets and amenities.
They pretty much have everything a person needs here. I wish rents were more affordable so as to accommodate a lane of local boutique stores. I prefer to support local.
Lots of good shopping. Check out the Woodgrove mall online directory for all their stores available to shop at. The food court was recently renovated and is bright, open, with lots of seating.
A nice large mall with lots of shops to explore! There is a interactive light board that is open for people to run across on that is super fun and the food court has an option for everyone!
This mall has quite a few really good stores! The food court is great! The washroom is clean and hygienic! The Lush outlet here is my favourite! The store is spacious and cheerful! The mall has stores like Sports Chek, Kernels, The Bay, Winners, Lush, New York Fries, A&W and many more! The mall has a great parking facility as well!
I love the mall so much. Me and my mother came here to shop for some clothes and jewelry. The mall is so big and is very close so it's easily accessible. I loved it here and I think you will too!
Customer service needs an overhaul! I was in line behind a older lady how was using a cane...she asked the cashier if she could take the cart out to her car because she could not manage her purchase with one hand. Because of store regulations she could not remove cart...that is fine..however the cashier did not offer any assistance to the elderly woman. I offered to help her. It was terrible Customer Service not to help a person in need! Will not shop there again.
Looking for that perfect gift for the lovedones who are on your list? Quality and the right price...winner ✅
Very clean atmosphere, very well laid out shops, nice food court and overall good experience
This is usually not my favorite Winners but it looks like they have made some improvements. Still a weak plus size selection.
I like this mall. Good anchor stores and nice variety of fillers. Good proximity to Costco and Superstore, and a great White Spot in the parking lot.
I love this mall. So bright. Definitely different from Pine Center mall in Prince George. Lots of store outlets. Big Parking Space. Food court has diffrent food choices to choose from. Lots of tables and chairs to sit to. Great for social distancing for eating too.
My family and I are frequent shoppers at this mall. The shops there will appeal to any person...of any age. The mall is only one level...and that definitely makes things easier for people that can't use elevators or escalators. Will return...many times more...I'm sure.
Nice shopping mall, but very busy....
Got ALL my shopping done here! Woodgrove is great. It has a vast selection of stores and is great for this Xmas holiday!!! Crazy busy!!!
It’s a mall…. There’s always just a hint of palliative doom in any mall. This one has fairly good shops, ample parking, and clean surfaces.
Well maintained and got variety of places to visit in shopping mall
Great Central place for locals to shop. Important side note: They have closed some entrances to assist in completing temperature checks, so be sure to check that the door is open to access before finding parking. The floor is easily marked with instructions. We went to this mall to assist in buying gifts for a local toy drive, and they had everything and more that we needed!
I got to the mall right before closing but I had enough time to walk through, there was some good stores there that I need to check when I have more time. The Purple Cactus lingerie store on the west side of the mall (separated entrance from outside) had TONS of great products for women and some really awesome underwear for men with cool prints! I highly recommend you go there, they even have bathing suits!
It's got all the shops of the city without the crowds. If you need a mall !
Went to the cinema picked up our ticket, then went walking through the mall before movie time.
Great mall lots of stores. Including Walmart, winners, toys r us, candy store, small play area. Always clean. Lots of activities organized by the mall including charity drives. Santa is best around. Miss the clock though.
Parking lot is always busy but the mall is nice and good stores. It has nice kiosks as well.
The VR games in the middle of the hallways are super annoying. They are loud and obnoxious. Maybe put them in one of the stores that is empty
Nice clean mall with a number of chain stores.
Great selection of everything, good to see so many stores.
The first shopping and entertainment center in Nanaimo. Easy access from all places. You can spend hours without getting bored shopping for cheap and expensive goods and eating delicious meals, as well as practicing some hobbies if you like, calm, cleanliness, tranquility. Your child will enjoy some fun games. Finally, discover for yourself some mistakes from some sellers. Don't forget everyone out there is trying to be satisfied.
My favourite shopping mall. We need to fill our empty stores.
Like everyone is masked, temp check on wrist at door was quick and easy. Some shoppers still learning to follow direction signs but that being said the signs could be clearer...like big arrows on the floor. Mall was clean, lots of sales
Was at Walmart wish they had more tills open. They have more staff standing around doing nothing but what line you should stand in. Very poor management I think I would like to get paid for doing nothing but no luck for me
Woodgrove mall might be the best shopping experience in Nanaimo. Its open and spacious concourses make for a pleasant shopping experience, and the combination of larger chain stores and smaller outlets means there's something for everyone. Great parking, clean stores, and a delectable food court. What more could you ask for?
Weather is in terrible condition and forces poor employees to go in!!!! My son got stuck in a ditch trying to attempt to go to his work because he was being forced to try. I feel really sorry for everybody who has to drive on ice and risk there lives just to get to there minimum wage jobs!!!
It's a mall what else can you say! Lots of shoppers looking for sales on things that are in short supply. At least everyone is sticking to the Covid restrictions. Parking can be a bit of a problem so be patient and watch when you're pulling out of your parking space especially if you're backing up. Pedestrians are not paying attention for the most part. Have a safe and happy holiday.
Awesome mall haven't been to in ages still great place to see there and stuff to buy
Always loved woodgrove mall, and they recently set up an immunization clinic. I'm absolutely terrified of needles but so excited to get the vaccine. My vaccination was done by an older lady with short grey hair and she was FANTASTIC. She distracted me so well I didn't even get nervous. Absolute BEST experience I've ever had getting a vaccination. The perfect place to go if you're afraid!!
Lots of variety, from the mundane (as seen on TV store) to the extraordinary (VR experience arcade). Groceries either at the wal-mart, or save-on within the same area. Best mall on the island as far as content is concerned. Check it out for yourself if you're curious.
