The young lady who helped me last week buy a pair of boots was amazing. I have really bad feet, bunions etc. Very difficult to buy for. I explained my problem and she just went into the back and brought out a good variety of boots that she thought might be comfortable for me. Best shoe shopping experience ever!!!

Kendra was very patient and knowledgeable about the products, I was very happy to spend my money on a wonderful pair of Portofino boots, they fit amazing and their frequent buyer program and customer service will have me retuning for my next pair of shoes. Never going anywhere else again. Best quality in town.

Had very inattentive uninformed service at this shoe store 'Walk in Comfort'. Limited selection and old-fashioned styles. Had much more professional and much wider selection and competitive prices at the other shoe store 'Step Ahead' nearby even though that store was much busier. We found what we wanted there.

Terrible customer service at the Nanaimo location. When I initially tried on shoes, the salesperson was not knowledgeable about the shoes or the brands. She seemed confused about why the sizing was off on the shoe I was trying on. Turns out, she had grabbed the MENS size of shoe rather than the women's. She didn't tell me that, so when she handed me the box of what was supposed to be women's shoes, they were mens shoes. I had no idea. I wore them a few times but they kept hurting my feet. I called to talk to them and find out what had happened and they told me I was sold mens shoes. Suddenly I knew why they were hurting my feet. When I told them I didn't want mens shoes and wanted the women's shoes I had tried on, they told me they wouldn't exchange them because I had worn them outside of the store. They didn't factor in the fact that I was sold the WRONG shoes. They were $200 shoes and now I have $200 shoes that I can't wear because they hurt my feet. I asked them to honour customer service and they refused. Don't bother wasting your time with their terrible customer service and lack of knowledgable staff. Sad to say I won't be a returning customer.

Finally after the usual relentless search for a 10 1/2 (narrow) shoe or sandle I found my dream sandle with velcro straps that I can adjust to fit me perfect. And not only that...they are very attractive. I was at the market today and a lady asked about my sandle. I invited her to photo it and I know she will be there tomorrow. This is where you can buy cork soles that feel so good, fit so well and if you are having foot problems like plantar fascistis this will be your very best bet. I've tried them all.
