This small but elegant shopping plaza is one of my favorites on the island, as it's got a little bit of everything in one place. Beer & wine? Yup. Groceries, with bakery and florist? Yup. Bank? Mhm. Multiple amazing restaurants? Yes. And a sporting goods outdoor store? Nice. Parking lot is designed properly too, which is a HUGE plus because most shopping Plaza's in town have craptastic parking.

I really like this mall. It is an array of outdoor stores. I think there is probably 30+ stores in the complex, with a few restaurants (Boston Pizza, Longwood Brew Pub). You do kind of need a car to get around here... but hey this is Nanaimo, you need a car to get around anywhere, and everywhere.

Food was very good! I had a burger with fries while friend had a noodle dish (which she said was good). Prices were reasonable but the wait for food was somewhat long (over 45 minutes). Restaurant also had a large selection of beer and drinks which were priced nicely. 8/10 would recommend.

Brewpub had been going near two decades. And I'm still always excited to go. I can't recommend this place more! Our nacho's were served to us with the cheese visibly un-melted. Not sure how the cook AND the waitress missed this, but it wasn't enough to drag them down a star. Usually the food is perfect.

I like the shops in this area, but it is hard to navigate the parking lot and the spots are very small. U don't like that you can't go from the thrifty foods to the quality foods in any direct way, and it is hard to get back on the highway from thrifty. Longwood Brew pub is great though!

Great people, great food, GREAT BEER! Since it opened Longwood Brewpub had been an institution in Nanaimo. Everything on the menu is 100% made on premises, and is constantly rotating to the seasons, that goes for the food and the craft beer.

I love this place because the food is good and there's enough choices to please just about everyone, there is wine and cocktails, and let's not forget the excellent beer and ale with seasonal specials. They have a dining room as well as a pub level with pool tables and when the weather permits, outside seating. Oh and I would be remiss if I didn't mention that they know how to hire the best staff, you'll feel right at home!

This outdoor shopping centre has 3 distinct shopping areas..the upper part has the Longwood brew pub and other shops. The lower has thrifty foods and the 3rd area has a health food store and boston pizza. The longwwod pub has an upscale restaurant upstairs and the brew pub downstairs which is my favourite spot for russian ale and seafood chowder, lamb and turkey burgers. Theres also a billiards table in the pub.

I am disappointed that so many restaurants serve luke warm coffee ,soup , poor service. This is a major problem with Most retaurants.I keep going to different places to the retaurant that suits my requirements. Also poor service means NO tips.

Would rate this as highly (5 star) as any of the BC Liquor stores in Nanaimo except that the parking lot is tight and congested. Access is conveniently close to Thrifty's but, busy because of that. Better to go to the Wellington for better pricing and their rewards program.
