One of Winnipeg's nicer malls. Has all the latest and greatest trend, fashions, and styles looking for. Many electronic and cellphone shops. There is a Wal-Mart attached to this mall. The food court has many options available, and there is also a silver city movie theater here as well. Parking can be nightmare at times, but that's really the only complaint I have.

I’m sharing this review on behalf of a family friend who has a medical condition that affects her ability to go far distances without support. We talk about the importance of being inclusive in a society like ours, but why is its implementation so hard??! My family friend has MS and if they’re at the mall briefly and need to run errands, it makes their overall experience much better and doesn’t put them at risk of getting hurt if there is a mall scooter or another vehicular means of getting from one end of the mall to the other. How come a mall like St. Vital, Winnipeg’s ‘Premium Shopping Centre’ doesn’t have sufficient number of scooters available for customers who need them? It’s really sad. With a global pandemic still unfolding, making services as safe and as inclusive as possible has never been more important! Making customers with accessibility needs struggle and feel unsafe and uncared for is quite demeaning and disdainful! I’m sure a mall like St. Vital can implement better measures that attend to accessibility needs at all times.

The most stores to shop at, great variety. Parking can be a challenge and it would be nice to see more originality in the food court, but as good as it gets for a Winnipeg shopping center.

St. Vital mall is a place I don't love to go because it's a busy mall and I'm no fan of shopping. However as a mall it is full of all types of shops and restaurants to meet practically any need. Park by Chapters where it's often less busy and enter the mall through their entrance. Much more civilized approach to shopping.

Specifically, the food court, which does offer a wide variety of options. At peak times the place is completely bonkers. Be prepared to jostle for a spot to eat. In general, as mall food courts go, this one in bright with high ceilings, which helps with the mass of humanity around you. The staff do a good job keeping the place fairly clean.

Been a regular customer here since it was first built. It has evolved into quite the shopping experience. While not overly laden with catchy attractions, it does offer a comprehensive assortment of retailers with almost everything to accommodate a consumer's needs and wants. There is plenty of parking too.

It had been years since the last time I was there and I was pleasantly surprised. The mall was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and all the stores were brightly lit. The staff in most stores were friendly. We had fun walking about exploring.

St Vital is a great shopping mall. one of the only two i will regularly shop at in Winnipeg. I go here all the time for my hair dresser in Botichelli, and Sportschek. Has all the stores one would need. The only real store my wife and i notice is missing at this time, is Lulu Lemon, however i heard they have plans to put one there in the near future.

Difficult mall to park at due to its star shape with the anchors stretching out if the mall and into the parking lot. That makes each main entrance a v with very little parking. The layout can be a little confusing as it's a main loop with three legs off of it that each have a bend. Overall the selection of stores is great and it's only been getting better. The cineplex has an arcade which is hard to come by these days. The mall decor is modern and is kept clean. It's our go to mall in Winnipeg.

This is a busy place! And it’s in the part of the city where the types of people you meet are on either ends of the spectrum. This is probably the place you want to go for designer stuff. I bought two pair of premium sunglasses from sunglasses hut who were in the middle of a “Buy one get the second 50% off“. The sales ladies were very helpful. I bought a T-shirt on the way out, and had the same experience at a different store. If I could say one thing the chapped my ass it’s that chapters the bookstore, took away all their seating with the exception of the Starbucks located inside the store. But this is in the mall’s fault I don’t think

Not the biggest mall but it has all you need, the kids love meeting Santa here at Christmas time, wish they had a free picture like Kildonan place but the quality is very good here. Stores do change often seems like there is always one store or more closed and under construction while another moves in. Great mall to visit when it's too hot,cold,wet or snowing so basically all year here! It is a comfortable temperature and the lighting is just right all day.

Stores like Hudson Bay, Victoria's Secret are there, one can find everything he/she needs to buy.Food courts consist of large area so one can easily find a place to take food and chat with friends. Moreover Walmart is attached beside the mall so one can do the grocery shopping as well.

St. Vital mall keeps getting better and better! Physically a better experience than Polo, though Polo Park still has a few more unique stores to offer. Love the food court and the layout. Will continue to go here over Polo Park

Quite a nice mall! Went through the chapters entrance, hoping for some starbucks, but it seems to be under repairs/renovations of some kind. Went to a few clothing stores, and a lot of the basics (t-shirts etc.) Were sold out. Finally had some lunch in the cafeteria, the fish and chips place is amazing, a bit of a wait but worth it! To sit in the food court and eat, you do need proof of vaccination and ID.

I am left feeling that this mall, like all other malls just cater to teenagers and folks in their early 20s. Wish I had more options as a tall mid-40s lady for classy and cool clothing that don't fall apart after a few wears. Love bath and body works so I buy things there or at chapters. Most clothing is too short or they "ran out" of my size....sigh. I have found a handful of clothing gems over the years in The Bay.

I'm no scientist, I'm just saying they're not a destination of wellness and positiveness. I ended up there because I went to London Drugs, on the edge of the mall, for an advertised special.

I used to love coming to SVC. It's a very nice place and especially the food court. It has a very neat design unlike any other malls with two massive fireplaces at each end. It worth visiting in the winter for the fireplaces but it does have a stale, bland and somewhat boring atmosphere. The most exciting part of SVC is the Cineplex.

We were on the way out. Noticed there was commotions in the hallway by the movie theater. Then I started sneezing for the next 5 minutes. Rumor had it that someone was maced. Disappointed that no security was there to keep shoppers from the area or announcement was made over PA to issue warnings. A few shop merchants and shoppers were apparently affected also.

We visit London drugs, Walmart, second cup usually but there are shoe stores, Chapters Books, and a Red River food co-op for groceries in the parking lot. There is a large bus loop into the centre.

Had a great time at the movies but the parking lot was a mess when we left. People had blocked other people in and had bee waiting an hour my small car was able to get out but just. So don't park in the far corner of the parking lot on busy movie nights :)

Has absolutely everything. This is possibly the best mall anywhere around Winnipeg. It has a nice warm feeling and a great food hall. It’s also connected to the cinema via an impressive arcade which provides some cheap fun with the kids which is quite convenient. Love this place.

If you like rich, snobby people then St. Vital Centre is the mall for you. They have a lot of selection. If you have shopping to do at a variety of stores you can easily get it all done in this one mall. It's kept quite clean and the bathrooms are actually quite nice. The toilets are a bit loud and they've scared me on occasions but there's no complaint about that. The staff is usually very friendly if not a bit judgmental. I dress in a bit of a grungy style and I sometimes get treated like a criminal/poor person when browsing the more high end shops in the Centre. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough for me to notice it.

St. Vital is a little bit dated, but I don't think that hurts the mall at all. It still has a great selection of stores, food, and entertainment. The theatre is great, there is a large chapters, some specialty stores, and lots of big brands as well. Occasionally it can get crowded during busy seasons. Behind Closed Doors is a neat holiday event as well, and they definitely finally out for the Christmas Season.

My favourite place where you can enjoy lots of varieties of activity. I love food court, even with lots of people you feel lots of air and space. I love A n W, Tim Hortons, Subway, Fish'n Chips! Can't wait for Kim Chi to come back! I love fireplaces with real fire! Ones we were sitting with my Dad there with coffee and danishes, lots of time with my kid just warming up and watching the fire... Clean and beautiful place!

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ I have never felt so discriminated... i walk into boathouse (a store located in the mall) looking for a fanny pack and hoodie, and one of the workers about 5'3'' and asain gives me a dirty look and has the nerves to call security on me because she thought i was stealing. i had shorts and a t shirt on and did not have a bag on me, i was trying on hoodies, as i was in the fitting room she called security on me, i felt so ashamed walking out the change room with 3 security gaurds watching after me, customers kept giving me looks, as if i was a theif, i felt so discriminated and ashamed, i bought my fanny pack and left the store. such discrimination shouldnt be allowed in canada. a young black man cant go shooping by him self without being looked upon. I am never coming to boathouse or even this mall again again

The only London Drugs in Winnipeg is here. Good mall if you're looking for franchise stores.

By far the best mall in Winnipeg. A great selection of stores and in a layout where you don't feel like your walking down one long corridor (caugh polo park). Food court is great, with tons of options. Comfy chairs if you can snag one rather than sitting on a food court chair. Best part... Good free wifi. Also bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen in any mall across the country.

Nice and modern, yet access after the mall closes and still in the theatre portion forces you to head outside in the cold parking lot to circumvent to your vehicle. Plan accordingly!

The best mall in Winnipeg, in my opinion. The building itself seems much newer than other malls and it features a beautiful food court with stone fireplaces and hanging chandeliers. The stores are exactly what you would expect from a mall, except there are more shoe stores at St. Vital than any other mall in Winnipeg. The Chapters book store is a nice place to stop for coffee.

It's a good mall, just the right size. It's got a variety of anchor tenants ( The Bay, Walmart, Chapters, London Drugs) and a nice range of smaller stores. Its food looks spectacular around Christmas.

Boxing Day and mall closes at 6pm?! Seriously??? The day when the whole city goes shopping you close it earlier than usual. Makes no sense. And don’t even adjust hours on google so people don’t waste their time driving there.

Has most of the stores that I usually shop at. Quite a big selection in the good courts. One of my complaints is that when you first go in and let's say ask for assistance they just brush you off I'm not saying everyone but some people do that and it's is very rude and disrespectful in my mind.

St. Vital Center is the best mall in Winnipeg as far as I'm concerned... it's got a good mix of the stores I like and the food court is better than most in the city... if you can shop during the used book sale that they often host it's even better... definitely recommend it

When I was younger this used to be the place to go to hang out. Now many of the shops are run down/messy, others have closed down, and most of the stores now cater to an older generation and market. Since Polo Park renovated its mall, everyone including me have been flocking there now. I have a lot of fond memories of St. Vital, but unfortunately they're now just memories from days past. :(

Price is too high in almost all shops. So becareful before buying any expensive items or cloths from here. Please do a small market research before buying anything from here. Good side is, here you will get a big clean baby playground. So you can keep busy in playing your kids.

So I'm walking in the mall with my mask on from kiosk to kiosk while drinking coffee. I pull down my mask to take a sip and put my mask back in place. The security guard see's me from 30 ft away says to I cannot do that then, walks 4 ft from my face and says you have to sit down and drink that. This is getting out of hand. No logic whatsoever. As this was happening to me even the guy working in the shop next to us came to my defense.

Along with Polo Park, one of the best malls in the city, with a large variety of your regular retail choices. Main difference is there is a Walmart and theatres attached to the mall and they have a better laid out and esthetically superior food court. There are also a good variety of smaller retailers and restaurants on the streets surrounding the mall.

Many of the good stores I remember from before are no longer there like Rocky Mountain chocolate. The New York Fries I had there was pretty good though, I guess. It's pretty much just like any other mall. I was able to get a good walk in though while I was there.

My place to go! I am from Roseau, MN and don't get to Winnipeg more than four to six times a year. I love walking in through Chapters and being so close to the movie theater. I saw premier of The Da Vinci Code here before it was out in Los Angels! What is not yo like? Nothing that I can see, love the wonderful selection in the food court. I have never been disappointed with what I have found in this mall.

On a weekend if you're bored or not doing anything, then this is the best place to go and have a walk a around. The movies here are the best place to watch. You get to watch 3D movies and those fancy chairs that moves around whenever the movie gets louder, but that's the best part. A good place to spend your time wisely with your family or friends.

This is a nice mall when you don't want to deal with stairs and huge crowds. It has an okay selection of stores, the food court is actually surprisingly nice and has alot of very similar food options which might be a put off to some but I'm sure you're really not their for the dining experience. Where the mall doesn't shine is its lack of bathrooms. The mall is longer instead of taller, if that makes any sense. So if you need to go to the bathroom you're going to have to walk through the mall alllllllllll the way to the food court and go. There's only one big one. Once you get to the bathroom it's fairly clean and there's lots of stalls. But it's very inconvenient if you're at one end and if you gotta go you gotta go and there should be one a couple more throughout the mall. Other wise great place for shopping.

This is our neighborhood mall!! I have been a faithful customer since the day it opened. I am disappointed that there are no plus size women's shops. There are stores that carry larger sizes but they are limited in the selection and style. I will probably do most of my Christmas shopping here. The variety of stores and product selection works for me and my budget. Food Court offers pretty good variety of menu options. The area is bright and sunny. It does get a bit noisy but generally you're not there to have intimate conversation.

This is one of my favourite malls in the city. St vital has a little bit of everything and it's never over crowded like some other malls tend to be. It's in a wonderful area with quite a few other stores and restaurants in the same location. I love shopping here. I have not shopped here since the pandemic started. But I went there today and there was a small amount of people in the mall. The workers in the shops that I went to were really nice and they helped me find what I needed. I would suggest going in the middle of the day on week days rather than on the weekends. There were no line ups or anything. I would go if you need something not just cause you want to shop. Overall was a good experience. ????

Where am I, and why am I here? These are the two questions you will keep asking yourself while wandering the consumer maze from hell that is St Vital shopping center. Unless you are otherwise disposed, abled or inclined you should make the extra trip to Polo Park to shop without bumping shoulders with the entire south end while trying to decide between booster juice and orange julius. The qualities unique to this dump is a chocolate shop and an underwhelming carnival strip. This is the worst mall in the city.

My brother left his Walmart bag full of new clothes and Fathers Day cards in the food court. We went back an hour later looking for it. A very kind gentleman found the bag for us. I didnt catch his name but he was tall with no hair, and working at 8:15pm today in the food court.

People's jewellers a very good place to get jewellery repairs done. Katherine and her staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the ladies at People's jewellers! I am sure they are great for sales too. I just had major amount of repairs done.

The usual stores, etc. From a parent's perspective, having the kid's play area, (which is awesome,) on the opposite end of the mall from the bathrooms, was a terrible decision with very gross consequences. Pro Tip: for some reason, the Starbucks by the food court is usually less busy than the one in Chapters.

I've been going to this mall for decades. While it's always been my mall of choice, it's grown into arguably the best place for shopping in the city. The only downside is parking can be a bit difficult to find.

Great selection of shops. A little something for everyone. Food court is equally as diverse and even on the busiest of days one can still find a place to sit. Bathrooms are clean as it is cleaned regularly. In my opinion the mall as a whole is the best one in Winnipeg. Only thing lacking is stores catering to the 'Punk' and 'Alternative' crowd.

Security is a joke and doesn't act as security. I got threatened in the parking lot and when I called to report it, I was basically told they have 0 authority over the parking lot and can't remove the customer from the premises. It's a very unsafe environment and security is not prepared to handle disgruntled members. They do not have the phone number on hand for the parking general, which honestly makes no sense.

Okay mall. Not too many great stores. I like that there is a Mac, Sephora, HBC and Chapters. However, the food options are extremely lacking. Without the Moxies, you pretty much need to leave to eat, which is inconvenient in the winter with kids. I hope they add a restaurant back. I will say that the mall is for the most part clean and feels safe.

Sort of a depressing mall to go to. There are a number of empty store fronts and soon to be leaving shops which is sad to see. This mall also isn't very big and is limited in the stores it has. I would recommend going to a larger mall such as Polo Park if you want a more effective trip to a mall.

Covid has unfortunately taken its toll on this place. The mall is open, but many shops are closed. One small irritation used to be how crowded the mall could get; now it is almost spooky how empty it seems while walking around. The food court is open, and has a great variety of food, though it is so roped off with security checking for vaccination status; I can't get used to it. It may not bother some, but I haven't eaten here in a while now.

A good alternative to the Polo Park Mall whenever I visit Winnipeg. A little out of the way from the airport, but the fact that the Wal-mart is in the mall itself makes it a somewhat better location for one-stop shopping. The Food Hall has a great selection of restaurants, and is rather impressive looking. There is also a nice-sized Chapters bookstore right next to the Food Court.

One of the cleanest malls in Winnipeg. Second to polo the most entertaining. They seem to be closing some of the stores so you will need to go to polo for those needs such as Victoria secret and they used to have a lulu lemon there. Decent food court. Nicely decorated and clean. Lots of variety. We come here over KP or grant even though we live 30 mins away from st vital mall.

Busy mall. But do not get discouraged when you see the parking lot. Crowded but able to move around with easy and comfort. Something other malls in the city lack with large crowds. Parking was crazy but not too bad. Lots of good stores with a wide selection for dad, mom, and kids.

Good variety of stores. My complaint is the parking lot. Need a better attempt at keeping it clean. Even with a little snow, people park all over the place reducing your already limited parking an abserd amount. Big piles of snow need to be removed. Storage containers taking up parking spots this time of year is just plain stupid. Would like to see more pink parking spots (patents with infants). The ones they have by the Bay are so narrow its so hard to park there and actually be able to open your car door, nevermind trying to get a baby out. And there's no break in the curb to get the stroller over into the Bay entrance. Pink spots should be a tad bigger if anything, not smaller, these are little people who ride in chairs on wheels. It's nice to be able to pull the stroller up to the side of your car to load and unload.

I live close to St Vital Shopping Centre and enjoy ???? the mall. St. Vital Mall is one shopping mall of four in Winnipeg. The mall has a variety of stores. London Drugs is good for a drug store in the mall.

Still on lockdown re: number of people allowed in the stores to shop, no food or beverages to be consumed in the food court, social distancing. However, shoppers were courteous, staff were careful of the number of shoppers (only 1 person per residence) allowed in stores, etc.

Prices ok but way way to messy. I have to use a scooter and to get to somethings a bunch of things on floor. Sometimes i have to run over it but it cant be helped unless u would make sure staff that work in those departments do their hob. It's has a lot of shops to choose from but the goods are quite costly. They don't offer sale much so people end up going to Wal-Mart instead. But the cinema is fine. They have a small arcade for kids and teens to play. I hope they expand that area. The have nice seating area near the food court which is fine busy quite noisy when there's lots people in the food court.

A good place for family shopping. Walmart, Sportchek, Sears, London Drugs, Old Navy and the cinema are the place that we’ve visited regularly. They also have a big selection of food corner on their food court. There’s a small indoor playground near Sears for 5 yo under. A nice place to take your toddler if they got cranky during shopping visits.
