Here you have the opinions of real people like you who have information of the products and services of Cityplace Winnipeg (Mall) in the territory close to Manitoba (Canada).
Right now the firm has a score of 3.7 over 5 and the rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it reaches an reviews average is quite high, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the evaluation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
City Place is a busy place during the week but most of the stores are closed on the weekends. The mall is open on weekends and evenings for the skyway access. Good mix of retail and excellent food court choices
Lots of shops like a great tobacconist,CIBC and A&W all on the main floor. All in all a great place to shop.????
Kind of quiet, but nice.
Thanks to the Jets this place is seeing some new life and more premium locations are starting to open, downtown comes with the standard traffic, lots of paid parking options.
Anywhere downtown Winnipeg seems so desolate. And seems the reason is because barely anyone lives downtown. Why doesn't this city build housing downtown and then the stores and malls there would have a chance to succeed. Such a disgrace to Canada. If this continues the whole downtown and areas around it will end up being plywood empry houses and empty buildings. And all new houses and box stores surrounding the outskirts of the city. People who travel through Winnipeg are so confused. You go to a city as large as it is and downtown has a great look and feel and then realize nobody lives downtown and no stores are even open to buy anything once the street lights come on. If you are downtown past dark cops harass you because only ones there they say are criminals up to no good. Breaking into or stealing cars.
A good place to go for lunch or if you need to pick something up from one of the stores, but not a good place to randomly shop or hang out.
Good mall conveniently located downtown
Not bad for a quick lunch. Convenient location.
Nice for a office workers malls. Has really upped it's game recently with the addition of the Robert Lowden gallery.
Very yummy salads and wraps. Ordered off UberEats came fresh and hot under 30 minutes right to my door thanks BODEGOES.
$40 in 10 minutes at the shark club.... Nothing more than a $5.00 win. Machines are terrible in wpg
Nice interior, decent selection of stores, but very expensive parking.
Nice place for a quick bite before an event at the arena.
I loved this. Second time in Winnipeg in February and I love how you never have to go outside in -30. Great assortment of shops.
Great eats and nicely maintained
Cityplace is very convenient, clean, well managed and full of shops that allow me to pickup small items or use services I need. I feel safe there and the selection of fast food restaurants is excellent.
Lack of stores no lack of security wearing stab proof vests this place has poor hours but does offer food of many kinds CIBC bank staff well some are great here but all in all this is a prime example of why Amazon is taking over
Eh could have more stores but the food courts good
Not much to find but has food options.
Clean and friendly staff can me busy
Needles in the crapper. Junkie central
Really like their coffee
Its huge place with lots of shops
Just your average shopping center type place. Decent food court, hours are limited
Love coming to CityPlace it has a lot of services that I utilize, it's located downtown close to other services, shopping is selective but good and for the foodie who wants a quick bite there is a decent selection of places.
It's a good place to have a bite. Also good to get to the library and the mts city center and other places. Good to use and meet people
Clean food court, minimal options but convenient for jets games
Lots of construction always and slow traffic and bad parking
Good infra structure and variety of stores
This place is beyond sketchy. I think they might need to knock it down and start over.
Best A&W plus a food court and Bostons for pregame meals.
Took my little girl to the bathroom nktbto find a used syringe in the bathroom stall. Told security and they acted like they didn't care at all. I highly doubt they will care about this review either. Wed March 21 2018 645pm
Great place for watching movies with family and friends parking is easy wheelchair accessible
I like the food court. You can eat sushi, pizza, shorma, juices. In the ground floor you will see some gift shops. They have quite a variety of gifts. Sometimes they offer good discount. I am waiting for the farmers market. Will write again when I will be able to get it.
The worst mall. No washroom? Closed shops everywhere. Some spaces look permanently empty. Supper depressing. Let small vendors open for temporary sales or something. Anything is better then this desert, ran out. Also the security walked out tons of people. Was only in for 8 mins
Ok mall but specially useful when it's cold during the winter because it gives you shortcuts to other places downtown.
Kind of missing some of the larger shops that might draw people to a mall, but good for the essentials.
It's got a good food court but it's just a very small retail space. Mostly for people that work down town and need a card or to stop in at a pharmacy.
Look for farmer's market or urban market event, it is awesome place to be at during those events
Easy to navigate, clean and well lit.
Glad to have Cole's Bookstore downtown, and a good quality MLCC. Food court is great and getting better with the addition of Za and Grillwich. No 5 stars because it's under MPI.
Definitely recommend checking out KONZ right beside where lottery is. Great ice cream, Amazing food & The owner is a very personable friendly man.
Good place for shopping. I often go there to grab my coffee from Tim Hortons.
Kinda cringe
Just needed to use the cibc atm so I parked and was able to make it back with out getting a ticket or paying along the south side of city place.
It's a little small and doesn't have a ton of variety in terms of shopping malls. If there were more to do in terms of shopping perhaps this would be a better place to visit otherwise it's more or less just a place to visit or walk through downtown if your looking to grab a bite to eat as it's plentiful with the amount of restaurants in it. Shark club and Boston pizza are some of the few and a pretty diverse selection in their food court helps also. There is a gym located inside as well which I think is also a nice addition.
Kind of strange lay out and not many options for shopping.
In the heart of Winnipeg Manitoba. Great place for everyone
It's a basic mall. There's a handful of shops and a simple food court as well as an LC.
Few places to visit and is styled blandly.
Decent mall, not a lot in there, kind of dirty
Everything closes early, I was there at 6pm and not much was happening at that time
Nice place but be careful lots of people that will take advantage of the area or you
Great passage way, good food court, okay mall.
This mall has a really good food court. Good place to meet someone before the Jets game.
Good place to pick up necessities during the day with decent variety. Food court, cell phor kiosks, the essentials. Would not recommend after 3 PM as safety is an issue. Recent assaults and stabbings in broad day light on street front.
Modern renovation, good food options, Rexall and LC, medical offices lots to do or be done there.
Like a cleaner better portage place
There is an MPI office, bookstore, coffee shop, gift shop, pizza restaurant, and a Thursday market during winter...
There is an MPI office, bookstore, coffee shop, gift shop, pizza restaurant, and a Thursday market during winter...
Go here for Eaton Place medical. Great doctors.
Cynthia great place overall was taken to get some of the homeless and vagabonds out from around the place.
City place is really handy if you're downtown. Parking is an inconvenience especially if you're there just for a short period of time
Meal before Carolina Hurricanes game. Delicious and out and at game just before puck drop.
Good shopping center with many food options s dry cleaners and a hair stylest. Great place during the weekday, closed on weekends or after 6. You can still walkthrough when closed.
Nice quant mall downtown, great for a quick bit or a last minute buy! Nice environment and very clean!
Coz it's safe place to have fun
Not a bad little mall. It has a great food court, with wide ranging choices. From Tim's and McD's, to Pizza, Chinese, Greek and more. There is a Coles bookstore in this mall, which is nice for all us bookworms. There is also a medical office and a pharmacy. Their escalators are frequently broken down, but there are elevators. The mall is a little on the small side, but it's got a lot of useful places. Edited on September 2, 2020: There is no longer a Coles in this mall.
It's kind of dead in there. I went on a Saturday and pretty much everything but the food court was closed. And the food court at Portage Place is better. Great food choices before jets games. Highly recommended to eat here before going to a game
Very small shopping center, not a whole lot of variety in terms of stores/restaurants. Recently renovated interior is nice, and usually is kept fairly clean, despite people often leaving messes in the food court. Passable option for quick lunch if you're in the downtown area
The security forbade my passage through the CityPlace as I had my puppy inside the carrier dog bag. (10/11/18)
Useful mall, contains a handy Rexxal on the first floor and an Autopac unit... Connections to the Skywalk and TNS are a plus.
It’s a small mall which has a liquor store, few restaurants and a food court as well. It also has medical centres and a massage parlour. Overall it has everything you need except a store selling produce and refrigerated food. It also hold CIBC bank which is convenient.
Has McDonald's, Tim Hortons, a&w, and an LC. Not much else.
Mall with mostly offices, banks and restaurants.
They trying to keep it updated but they should removed the sitting area under Scala tors bunch of no goods loitering .
Lacks any sort of retailers. Food court is decent. Really busy with lunch crowd.
Has been spruced up lately, new stores. looking forward to more new stores, keep it up CP.
Close to home and in can use the walk way to get around
This is a standard food court with extra fancy stuff in it. Has mcdonalds, subway, the like, but it also has really great fancier places like ZA Pizza Bistro and a place called "shark" something which has amazing burgers. Overall its not too big but has a nice selection and I think the average person can find what they need.
10/10 was a place in the city. Also they had a liquor mart
smelled and looked great - was getting stared at quite a bit by some people but a older cleaning lady told her younger team to chill - I enjoyed a nice cold drink in the food court
It's a mall at the bottom of an office tower, main attractions are the food court and liquor store. There's a drug store and key maker as well. Food court has McDonald's, Tim's, a few Asian choices and a poutine place. Pretty standard. Busy with office workers at lunch.
Nice place to spend the lunch time with friends
Needs more shops. The art gallery is a nice touch.
Family doctor's office & walk in Rexall store Many different restaurants Banks & ATMs Tim Hortons Boston pizza The shark club (casino) Manitoba liquor mart Tobacco store Bus stops just outside the Graham entrance doors. Washrooms top & bottom levels
Weird mall, not much inside. There are offices in it and over it and connected to it. The food court isn't very good either. It's fine if you need to stop in a grab a card, something from the drug store or the Liquor Mart... there's a Boston Pizza too which is nice I guess.
Small mall in downtown necessities are available but not much clothing wise
I really like their food court. It has some options that you wouldn't typically find in other food courts. In colder weather, this is where they have the Downtown Winnipeg Farmer's Market. The shopping part of the mall is pretty standard, nothing too special.
It have a GYM, Food court and other offices. Public access is restricted after 630 pm.
I was at city place visiting EP medical clinic. I got my prostate checked... highly recommend 10/10
Great place to buy bottles of wine
Not a ton of stores to shop in here, but its always clean, not too crowded (unless there's a Jets game on) and the food court has some really amazing restaurants. They're always improving too - just renovated and it looks really nice in there.
In the middle of downtown, does attract unwanted guests
Fun
There is not much available in this mall. There is a pharmacy and a book store which are the only few useful places to shop. There are a couple different places to get a cheap cup of coffee, including McDonalds, Tim Hortons and Robins donuts.
Grabbing some 30% off sushi before the Jets game.
Foods court is OK, not much for stores
Decent food court. Don't have much expirience with the mall itself. Downtown so the riff raff is around but not as bad as portage place
Small, usually more of a stopping point to go other places like Portage Place or Winnipeg Square using the Skywalk
It's one of those malls where people go because they work in the vicinity and shop for what they need while they're there for convenience. I like that there is a decent walk-in clinic and a food court. The outdoor patio is so nice on sunny days. Even better is that it's non smoking so you can enjoy the fresh, crisp air while you eat. Like most public places downtown, the mall tends to attract the homeless, drunks and other crazy people. Sometimes they bother other patrons. There are always a lot of people smoking very close to the doors.
The quietness is appreciated.
Great place to hang out, see the games or watch a fight on PPV..great crowd control and customer service
Great food court, license place and business
Pretty much just a food court. Literally no shops inside here.
Convenient and comfortable place to shop. Also provide easy access to postage place because of the covered sky walk way.
It's a cool place to walk to the mts center too. Can play at the shark place. Also the food is not bad
The staff at Robin's are a ray of sunshine. Fast service and delicious lunch food.
Lots Lil stores..an food court great
They did a good job fixing it up with the Shark Club!
Feels welcoming.
need more security too many people outside bugging you for money
Very convenient and connected through out downtown to other areas
This mall has been slowly dying for many years. The arena partially revitalized the place, but it's still a mall that closes early during the week and is a ghost town on weekends. There is a pharmacy, a liquor store and a book store (possibly the last remaining Coles), besides these, there's not much of note. When I was a kid there was a pet store movie theatre, and enough shops to actually classify it as a mall...that seems like such a long time ago. Now it is really just to pick up essentials on a lunch hour or gifts/booze before heading home.
I love meeting friends here for coffee or lunch. Lots of places to eat and sit. In the summer time food court opens up a patio so u can sit outside and enjoy the weather
This mall is located in the hearth of winnipeg. Consists of lot of food restaurants and some shops. I would like to prefer it only for eatables as most of the shops are of food. If you are looking to buy something visit polo park.
Not too much happening these days. Mostly visit for the food court
Nice foodcourt, good variety of businesses. Best thing is connection to the SkyWalk.
Large. Lots of shops and restaurants. Very busy especially at rush hour.
It’s a small step up from the cesspool that we call Portage Place mall.
Very beautiful mall with easy access to transit routes, and the downtown underground tunnels and skywalks. The architectural work is awesome and you can almost find all the different cultural dishes. Tim Hortons, Starbucks Coffee, Chapters, Locksmith, auto insurance, banks (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce - CIBC) Security is GREAT. Its also directly behind MTS Centre, which enables you to easily shop and go watch your favourite hockey games. ????#MRCHRISLOVE #CHRISLOVECGO
Appointment at the bank where they helped me with my account
There were a lot of people but it was clean and people were nice to you
Nice mall... never too busy
Nice and small shoping centre
Had a homeless guy ask me for $35.
I go order puck up tim hortion coffee nice goody
It's a good mall
Not much to shop for there mostly restaurants
Very clean accessible and likeable place to stroll around in downtown Winnipeg.
Lovely place to shop and eat. Kids enjoyed their lunch in the food court.
Well kept inside relatively good outside does have a tendency to have a lot of a vagrands and homeless around it.
A lot of good bargains and a wide range of products.
Like all the different stores and that there's a little casino in there.
Great mall with a good food court and gaming casino/lounge inside. Attached to the MTS CENTER Winnipeg JETS Hockey Rink.
Not a bad mall, would be nice to be able to walk in or out without being hassled for change and cigarettes.
Nice enough food court. Part of the Winnipeg Skywalk system, connecting The Millenium Library with the Bell/MTS Centre and Delta Winnipeg.
The ease of getting there. An it meets just about all my needs.
Lots of different things there check it out
It's great in the evenings when there is a jets game. Beats walking outside.
Mall in the heart of the city, with connecting skyways and tunnels for wheeled travel to various downtown destinations exclusively inside.
Great place to hang out with friends.
Good place to do some shopping with some good options for food as well.
Not a bad place to go to catch some lunch when running errands and do8bg some shopping down town. There is a Boston Pizza on the main floor and a whole food court on the second floor. It's the ideal place to grab a quick bite to eat before a concert or Jets hockey game at the BELL MTS Centre which is just a short walk next door through the skywalk.
What can I saw? Ardene is the only store I go there, but I prefer to go in another Ardene location.
Complete ghost town due to Covid.
Great small shopping and dining area in downtown. Till my office moved to downtown I didn't even knew a place like this exited. Now there is a mcdonalds, za pizza etc there. There is also rexall, MPI so all the convenient stores, footsteps away from my office.
Good shopping mall with lots of amenities in downtown. Very clean.
Convenient downtown and attached to the Skywalk and BellMTS Centre. Small but decent food court.
really like the food court.
Easy to get around in great for a quick bite
Get my lotto 649 here for every draw. Hope to win so i can buy a nice house.
i like it having BP near the MTS centre
its got a liquor store and McDonald's but thats pretty much the highlights
its ok but just like portage place sux root
My place of work, like it, lots to do here
Some random patron yelled at me to get away from the doors all the while I was only waiting for my partner so we could get a bite to eat
I just learned there's a food court upstairs
Very clean and up to date center for what it offers.
Great atmosphere to get together with friends and family for a nice meal. Food tastes great and at a reasonable price.
One of a kind
I love City place i love the people who work here and the wonderful people i get to meet in this mall. It has some great qualities and great traffic with a large food court that gives you great options. for any pallet
Seems to be improving. More shops are opening and their food court is growing. It’s worth revisiting to see all the enhancements.
Nice small mall; McDonald's, Tim Hortons, Subway, A&W, etc are there....Rexall Drug store and Boston Pizza....other places as well
It's a great place to shop!
A lot of the stores close pretty early. But the food court is really good. Right next to MTS centre so good place to stop before a game or a concert. Would recommend Za pizza in food court.
Ok for people working downtown but not worth the trip from the suburbs.
I always liked this shopping mall wish they had more good stuff in it
The worst mall. No washroom? Closed shops everywhere. Some spaces look permanently empty. Supper depressing. Let small vendors open for temporary sales or something. Anything is better then this desert, ran out. Also the security walked out tons of people. Was only in for 8 mins
Wouldn't recommend going here unless you're going to the specific location of an office. Not a great place for shopping, but pretty decent for food on the go, especially if you work at downtown.
Could probably be called anything else other than a mall. MPI has taken over much of the mall now and it's practically just offices.
During weekdays this place bustles with business people. It has a decent food court, a drugstore, and a liquor store. Lots of little business perfect for buying gifts.
Needed a tetanus shot after walking through here.
The family medical office here has the best doctors I've personally ever dealt with as a nurse myself they look after me and actually care as a patient. As for city place itself its much safer and much better atmosphere because of the strong police presence. Portage place needs a community police office installed in the mall to help reduce the kind of traffic it presents. Way to go city place.
Good place nice and clean mainly meant for food court it seems
Clean fast. Easy to get to. In and around.
A nice place to transfer my buses. Check out my tick tock @bendeler
Some good food out there
Not much here at all but a lot of wasted space. A liquor store a food court a drugstore that’s about it. Update the food court is getting better.
Very clean very central great mix of business retail and madayory services
Food court is pretty decent with a good mix of restaurants. Love the skywalks.
Like this mall. Too many negative reviews
It is an empty place. Not many shops. I wonder what is the point of keeping this place. It should be refreshed with more stores added.
They need taco time or bk in there lol. And replace the escalators they are always stopped for repair.
Its convenient if you are staying downtown Winnipeg or seeing a event at the Mts center or rbc convention center
Fairly good not a lot of stores
It's quiet most of the stores are shut down due to the pandemic security friendly but beyond that nope
Found security very rude. Got told today i was making a seem cause my 2 year old was freaking out in line at McDonald's. Sorry! But he's a two year old that what they do but to be told to leave was so disrespectful. Not happy at all.
If you need to meet someone Here, this could be a good idea.
Good ppl been going here for odds and ends very friendly ppl
Really looking great with all the Reno's.
The only convenience I can say is that it's right on a bus route.
Hawaii Kai has the best BubbleTea ever
Great food court, right next to MTS centre and True North Square. It's what Portage place should have been.
Not really that much there but they have a nice food court
It's much nicer then it used to be, but you will still never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Expect maybe Portage Place...
Great place to have a bite to eat and enjoy the company of friends
A GREAT PLACE to fuel up on a smoothie!!
Interior mall, very nice, but without a lot of options for shopping neither for food.
Good place to shop if you got time
Realaxing and big eatery to enjoy good food.
I was not impressed at all!
A decent mall, with a variety of shops. It's the better of the two malls downtown, and soon to be the only!
Shark Club great place nice decor. Downtown's hidden gem.
Not bad, though almost always crowded.
Not many quality shopping spots. Mostly food court focused. The Tim Hortons is good but always a long line up. The McDonald's is bad, bad coffee, slapped together food, inaccurate orders. Washrooms are fairly clean and newly renovated.
Much improved after recent renovations
Better security than Portage Place
Lacking is stores, but they working in it. The Reno makes it look nice
Nice renovations and a good spot for a weekday lunch, but experiences many of Winnipeg's social problems, and almost vacant on weekends
Cleaner and classier compared to Portage Place. Good selection of food.
They go out of their way to replace out of stock items
It's a mall. I only really come here to visit a wonderful restaurant called Konz or get a drink from Tim Hortons or Macdonalds sometimes. Very good food there overall, though I can't say I have or ever will visit for the shopping.
Ok mall for quick shopping but you don't stay too much around
This isn't a typical shopping mall. It used to be, but as downtown changed, so did the mall. Now there are offices on the uppoer floors, and the only retail is a Coles, a small jewellery place. And the Liquormart. But -every other Thursday, the mall hosts the downtown farmers market, ans theres a decent foos court on the 2nd floor and a nice independent cafe (openplan) on the main floor.
Actually only waited for a bus outside, but 3 stars because it was a short wait.
City place has no good stores in there and is almost as bad as portage place.
Love it
A few MPI staff are extremely rude to the working people in the same building, it seems every other day, the MPI staff enjoy swearing at the other workers and that's just totally unacceptable, they feel they are ENTITLED and feel free to …
Too many stores closing up; have seen so many shops come and go, even before the pandemic. It’s only a matter of time before a wrecking ball kisses the side of this building goodbye.
MORFIT DOWNTOWN is open there now:)
Still a nice place to come chill. Glad I could sit and eat, even if I was alone
Nice mall, even has a walk in clinic.
Great mall with a little bit of everything close by. Nicely connected sky walk makes getting to the mall and out to other areas easy.
Use the food court all the time because it is right next to the Millennium Libra
Better then portage place if you have kids
If youre going to be downtown anywhere I'd choose city place over anywhere else. The facilities are always clean and the security guards are friendly and make you feel safe.
Convenient little mall. Just wish they wouldn't close so early
The only reason why I go there was for The People's book store, since covid happened the store closed and I have no other reason to shop there. but overall I like how its connected to everything around downtown.
Handy mall by work for buying goodies at noon
Plagued by some of Winnipeg most interesting bums. Bathrooms are disgusting. Typical food court. Not a place I'd come too if I wasn't working. Sharks club is only good thing here
Love City Place. Always super clean and bright, the people are nice, food is nice, stores are nice.
Two larger restaurants, The Shark Club and Boston Pizza. Direct entry to the MTS Centre. Gambling, booze and good food in The Shark Club.
Good good court. Not a good variety of stores to shop at
Sketchy mall.. Only good thing is uptown sports
Awesome place to shop lots of choices, however I would recommend mornings as it gets busy after dinner. As well if you're just looking for an awesome place to walk this can be it lots to look at while you shop and walk ;-)
It's a good plce to visit with friends!
The asian man working at the smoke shop, and white ladies at the rexall cashiers are rude. I've also had a bad experience with a young, skinny black janitor who followed me out of the womans bathroom trying to talk to me. Unprofessional and disturbing. Always smells a little strange though I think cityplace has alot of potential, the walkways are nice but it could definitely be a little more friendly especially to people who aren't from the city or are unfamiliar with the downtown area. Maybe more directories and focus on the stores. Cityplace is a convenient spot to kill a little bit of time and maybe get a few errands done.
I remember when it was called Eaton's place.
I go to city place a lot. They just need some more well known stores to shop.
Great food serve at the food court...
A very beautiful place that really connects with you. I prefer evening/early night visit because of parking. You will always want to visit again.
I go there for doctor offices. Really do not shop or visit food court.
Came here for a Jets game.
Food court is on the up & up! Za Pizza, Curry, Poutine. A burrito option to open soon if not already...
Just there on a quick window-shopping stop-over at Coles while waiting for my bus. Lots of good bargain books but alas no funds with which to purchase. Some cute tchotchkes, too.
I like that it's busy, friendly and helpful
Way better than portage place lol
With easy skywalk access down to the underground mall in one direction, and skywalk access down to Portage Place in the other direction, it lies smack dab in the middle of a sprawling network of air-conditioned/ heated tunnels in the winter. Great for those trying to escape the elements. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat in the heart of downtown, you'll find no better selection of fast food eateries all jam packed into one convenient package.
If you need to be in City place, hopefully it's not for long. Surprised this 'mall' is still operating.
The mall doesn't have that much but the food court is great with a lot of really good choices, vietnamese, juice bar, burritos, sushi, poutine, pizza and a McDonald, A&W and Tim Hortons.
Hospitable service, excellent essential workers, Security does its job
Not much here but peaceful
It's sparse and mostly a through way it seems. Good coffee and human bean!
City Place aka MTS Centre...is clean safe and, if they ever finish renovating so there are no more boarded up doors and windows than not, shopping might actually be possible.
Love coming here gets better and better each visit
There is no place to shop here. Just a food court
Did not like it. Does not feel safe downtown.
This is always a sad mall to go to. It is not a place a plan a shopping trip too. If I am in the area and need to waste some time till a bus comes, it is an ok choice. The food court has a few options to choose from, but only a few places seem to really be busy. It never seems really clean but and the same time isn't overly dirty.
Not bad, just need more stories.
This place has a little bit of everything. Some office, bank, food court, few shops etc. Quite big and we'll maintained
A great piece of architecture. Lively place with people relaxing and shopping with ease.
Wasn't busy here at all...very dead actually.
It is a mere shadow of what it once was. The fall of the shopping mall. Rated it 2 stars because it still attached to the skywalk and the arena and it can get really cold or hot outside.
There are some great stores
Not really that many stores in city place but very clean and well maintained and very good food court
For a centrally located mall in the heart of Winnipeg should be much better. Has a majority of your essentials but stores close relatively early. Besides the two restaurants Shark Club and Boston Pizza.
Like the food court, or the sharkclub if you need a nice cold one and a quick game of slots, not much to shop around.
Security really does racially profile people. The shops are good though.
Great for heated parking and access to MTS centre, that's about it
Nice mall down town. Has most of the things you would need for a qui k shopping trip at lunch. Connected to skywalk it is easily accessible on foot, but not a lot of parking around for free. Food court had a diverse selection for any taste, but nothing really fancy or high end.
Great midday restaurants and stores in the heart of the Winnipeg skywalks.
Very nice place to go for coffee or lunch through the skywalk downtown without javing to head out into the cold!
Nice mall pretty quiet
Improving quickly! A nice place to shop and eat when you are downtown!
Love it and great service and staff are helpful friendly ????
It's kind of an empty shell, it's got a McDonald's though...
Nice and bright mall not much for shopping but still a great place
Not much going on here, not bad for a bite to eat if you're in the area
Was good a good place to get some food down town
Very cool mall. Has a casino,Tim Horton's, Boston pizza, McDonald's was recently renovated.. The hours of most places aren't the best. Downtown closes down to early.
Convenient location downtown to grab food
Good food court during the day and in the evening before events. Many stores closed on the evening and weekends.
Nice clean mall with security. Attached parkade. Lots of stores and restaurants. Located right downtown. The Skywalks link it to the rest of downtown. Right outside is a major bus hub
Not really much there. Homeless hang out
City place has a nice food court. It's a nice mall with a few goods stores. It would be nice if it had more to offer. The area does not have enough grocery stores and CityPlace would be a good spot for a small grocery. CityPlace could also use a women's clothing shop. It's in a good central location close to apartment rental units in the downtown core. It could be a better mall. It's accessible by skywalk.
The skywalks, the shops, the people... it's just fantastic to be here every time.
Great mall. My dentist I located there.
Really making an effort to revitalize downtown. Great food court. Hosting things like the Downtown Farmers market as really brought life to the area.
Decent mall, connected to the skywalk. Not enough variety in the tenants. Good parking.
Best place for shopping banking restaurants and easy access to Bell Center.
City place okay. I know they want you to shop but they only have l bench to sit on. Like the book and liquor store and they have my bank
Cityplace is currently undergoing renovations, so some of the elevators are out of order. There aren't very good stores here, but the food court is good.
Great location. Very convenient
It has improved since 2012. It has a wide variety of establishments ranging from a bookstore, a casino, a food court to an MPI office. There's a bridge connecting it from MTS Centre and to the library.
The only reason I ever come to city place is because my dentist is here. If they were in a different location I'd never come here. Downtown has a gross and dangerous vibe and I'd just as soon avoid it altogether.
Good place, food court is good, shark club is gaming center for fun, next door is bell mts center- home of Winnipeg Jets
I love this place because it has the CIBC bank branch that I deal with and it also has a few good place to eat and shop at!
Busy Cityplace day today. Hit timmies, early morning service was nice and quick and coffee nice and hot, later morning was slower. Sushi place in there is amazing! Great food and fast friendly service. LC was stocked very well also with fast service.
Its lost some stores, but is still kicking. There are still some to see. The farmers market they hold here is worth a look.
Had a good time playing some games at the Shark Club.
Robins, how do they have the audosity to think they ate the best thing MANITOBA HAS. Wakey Wakey
Good selection of restaurants in the food court. Clientele can be pretty sketchy. I do not feel 100% comfortable even walking through unless I am with a group of people.
Very enjoyable atmosphere while having lunch.
Good for coffee, needs a men's clothing store. Good food booths.
Alot nicer than before the reno thats for sure shark club is nice.
Went to the medical clinic. Good stuff
Sad little mall in downtown Winnipeg. Mostly office space now with a small food court.
Love shopping at rexal get points
Okay food court and not a lot of shops to look around in, but very clean
Food court is cleaner and better than portage place.
Decent place to get a bite but security sucks and there are many panhandlers.
Go to shark club for a quick bite to eat or to watch the sports games
Had lunch, Shwarma was great.
There's a lot of foot traffic and a variety of options when it comes to places to eat. Totally off topic but I saw a dude that looked exactly like Rob Halford there. Again totally unrelated just thought it was worth a mention.
Not much for shopping stores but decent food options
Small food court with a Tim Hortons and a good pizza place
Very convenient place in downtown. Love the farmer's market in winter.
Was able to grab a quick burger while waiting for the bus to come, good job A&W!
There's not a lot of variety here. However I visited the post office in Shoppers Drug Mart and had a pleasant conversation with the woman who works there.
City place is okay , except so many aggressive people .. so many in fact at certain times of the day there are cops present watching from the 2nd floor
It has an Amazing Tea shop. Chizma Tea Collections. Unique and Special Products.oerfect Gifts
nice mall
Nice food court there
I go because of Rexall. Best pharmacy ever. But also because their A&W rocks.
Better food court than portage place, farmers market is pretty decent too.
Nice little place conveniently located near the Delta hotel. You can find a food court, Shark club, a tobacco shop, liquor store, and pharmacy. It's nice for the traveler looking for the necessities.
Great central location to shop nd to do Business.
City place is were i honestly focus and be myself i have great group of friend i usually go there every friday love it
Average mall with basic stores. Very well maintained.
Walked by didn't visit
Nice place though. Variety of outlets. As usual problem with downtown, parking is an issue. Most of the outlets close early, likely busier during working hours.
Winnipeg knows how to throw a street party. GO JETS GO!
Great location with many great stores.
On top of the regular shopping and services. City Place hosts a regular Market of local arts and crafts. It's very cool showcase of local talent. Call the mall management officer details
Not many stores but lots of choices for food .
Decent food options... like the custom pizzas by Pizza bistro
Great place has ever thing Rexal has great bargains
Dull empty no shops no reason to return
Not the greatest mall, but it being downtown with a book store and LC and a Rexall to get packages makes it a convenient place.
Was a pleasant experience been going to city place since I was a kid.
Nice warm place to get off the street and get some good eats.
Found security very rude. Got told today i was making a seem cause my 2 year old was freaking out in line at McDonald's. Sorry! But he's a two year old that what they do but to be told to leave was so disrespectful. Not happy at all.
Convenient that it's connected to the skywalk system.
Hard tacos at taco time was delicious!!!!
Good food court. I only really come in here for Rexall and my family doctor is located in here.
My baby is going there to c the dentist !
Major shopping center in the heart of Winnipeg. Food court has lots of different restaurants to choose from, plus a huge seating area.
Awesome customer service always great food and great place to meet up with ur friend s anytime
Not too many businesses. Enjoyed reading the history if Eatons. Many memories of Eatons.
City place Winnipeg is a must do in the downtown area. From the coffee shops, food court on the 2nd floor, the book store, the massage center(still must try), Boston Pizza for all occasions, The Shark Club for all you gamers, A&W for a quick burger or two, and the Farmer's Market. Check out this mall when you can.
HORRIBLE MALL, I don't live in the city so I went to McDonald's located in the mall right well they got my meal wrong I tried to complain (it clearly was there fault but they didn't want to learn from there mistakes ) so long story short, they kicked me out of the mall. No I wasn't making a scene I just wanted to feel heard not disrespected
Nice stores but do not feel safe here
Loved it,found everything I needed and more
Love city place and their indoor parkade. But parking fees are much too expensive for games/concerts! $15 is such a cash grab!
I hate downtown. But one you get in there it ain't so bad
Not a bad shopping centre, great food court upstairs with plenty of Asian food options.
Terrible place. Always being asked for spare change. To bad. So many connections through the down town area. I do like the shops and eats. Just really do not like being asked for money.
Had decent parking for a change lol
Only place down town for McDonald's
The only good thing about Cityplace is that I can get out of the cold and into the skywalks in winter. It's a cesspool.
I would completely skip this place. Nothing to see and the accessing the place is hard enough with awful parking. Portage Place mall is a large step up from this place and that's not a compliment. It offers little in terms of stores. The ones setup here usually disappear. It's a dying place only held up by the bare bones of services. They should really turn the entire mall into a service station instead of the failed theme of becoming a mall. You're not missing anything and you probably never even heard of this place. The people that pass through here are sketchy. Not the worst but people you wouldn't want around at night. There is one gem that this place holds. It's one of the only locations that has Pizza in a cone. A fast food style of food in a interesting fashion.
aside from security following me around like I'm about to run off with a display I've never had a bad experience at cityplace
The panhandling is to much and some the staff are rude when you make a complete
Have many stores to try but little u safe
Love eating on the outside terrace by the food court. Beautiful flowers.
It was pretty dead because of Corona Virus ,but it is getting busier
Got my preferred smokes from Sheffield's and found what I am confident will be a good read from one of the last remaining Coles stores.
Well organized and accessible. Easy to find your way.
New restaurants are opening up so it's starting to look better. It's always clean as well.
Not the best crowd of shoppers in here, kind of run down to be honest
It a very safe place and good helpful security guards
Nice mall
Dissent small mall.
Only good thing here is Liquor Mart
I love the book store, coles, inside.
Its essentially a food court. Theres a couple of shops. If your in the food court I'd suggest checking out the vietnamese restaurant and get some pho, it's so good.
It is negative. In the food court area. Not a good environment for children.
Relatively new and exciting place to be, accessible from Portage Place through Bell MTS Place if you can find parking.
A mall with shops. There is a liquor store here.
Nice place but may not have everything you want
It's a great meeting place!
If you are hungry. Food court has a variety of options to choose from.
Great place to eat and shop at.
Love REXALL, CIBC, LIBERTY TAX and CAFETERIA...all connected by the Skywalk!
Excellent place to go too, security and management run it well, secure parking, a very clean place to go too
Went to farmers market bought a lemonmerige pie
Great place to park if attending events at Bell MTS Place.
Always love getting my coffee from here before work always clean
Pretty well cleaned food court.
Pretty cool place for grabbing essentials and a good bite. It’s clean and the selection of stores is sufficient. The big surprise is the food court. Highly recommended, lots of selection to choose from. Another plus about city place is how well connected it is. It’s connected to Bell MTS Place, Portage Shopping Center and The Bay. It’s also connected to the library. So it’s very accessible and easy to get to as there are a ton of bus stops all around.
This mall has become a ghost mall.. I worked here many years and don't have too many fond memories of it... The walk in is a long wait even when you make an appointment ahead of time with a doctor
Always stop for a coffee before Jets game
It was ok I'm surprised some of the food court vendors were closed on a Jets game night. Less to choose from
Good mall to go too if you don't know what you're looking for...tons of stores
Great place but parking issues
It would be nice to go down there without people begging for cigarettes or money. But hey we live in Winnipeg!
Good place to go before Jets games. Well taken care of and generally clean. Lots of places to shop and visit.
Great sky walk connections all throughout downtown. Easy to escape the extreme cold and make good ground too.
City place is one of the malls in the network of walkways in Winnipeg. Has a Rexall I visit and an A&W i like.
Connected to everything downtown. Convenient and lovely stores.
Very delicious food. This location food tastes amazing.
Once in a while like having coffee at Tim Hortons.
Love the parking....car wash there. Clean...very nice
I went to the food court to eat and chose McDonalds, the staff mixed so many orders, and made a lot of mistakes with the orders, it was awful. I really like McDonald Fries and was extremely disappointed to find out that at 11am they were out of fries!! I didn't even realize this till I checked my order and there was not any fries in my bag. The reply I received from a staff member when I inquired about the missing fries was "you were not charged for fries" However I did order fries. Then she tells me they are out of fries. umm... wait! what? Wow! That would have been nice to know during the time I had placed my order, how difficult is it to say, sorry we are out of fries at the moment which would have provided me with the option to perhaps modify my purchase. I wound up eating my meal without the Mcdonalds fries that I love all the while listening to staff tell each and every customer in the long line that they were out of fries, they didn't even have fries for their Kids Meals. Wow! I will not be returning to this location again. This location allways makes mistakes. The atmosphere in Cityplace is not appealing not a place I want to spend a lot much time in.
Mall is half empty for stores. Nice having some restaurant choices.
Nice place to pick up chicks.lol
Not much other than offices and a food court
Good food court. Convenient access through Skywalk.
It's a mall. There is a pretty good MLCC though.
Nice and clean. Very quiet as it was still early!
Good selection of items at the food court.
Just like another mall but with a little casino that gives next to nothing
Takes me from point 1 to point 2 downtown.
Dangerous place to shop Lot's of gang activity.
Good place during the week .on the weekend lot of stores closed.
No access to banking machines after 6:00 p.m.
Felt safe and nice to get back to normal shopping and dining
Not the same as it was 30 years ago...won't go there for anything
The mall isn't great but it has a good food court and a liquor mart.
I used to work here..Still enjoy stopping in book store and food court for a snack on the balcony.
Broght and clean but fairly empty.
Improving every year. Still a lot of empty or second class retailers. But wih the True North Square development next door it will soon be a destination and not just a place to walk through on your way to Winnipeg Jets games.
It was good and very clean their
Great selection! Always busy though
Not to much for retail but has some good stores. Boston pizza and Shark Club inside
Was there with family members, had a good visit.
Great place to go for a coffee or snack
You can have Good and some other stores (books, liquor, ....)
Very busy in the afternoon. My favorite juice bar is there upstairs
We only visited the drugstore and a coffee shop for java and a muffin before walking over to the library (attached by walkway). The mall is small and doesn't have many retailers.
Parking could be cheaper but place is ok
A little dated and you have to pay for parking or take a bus.
Better and quieter then Portage place but there isn't much stores to shop at there
So neat
A few good shops in my opinion. Decent food court with place I've not seen in other food courts.
An okay mall, I would not go out of my way to get here.
Only restaurants I like over here is Shark club and Z pizza. I would say this as a food court rather than a shopping center.
Big shopping center in the heart of the city. A food court is also there, one can find ethenic food varity including halal and veg. Parking here is a problem as its in down town.
Not a good or big mall by any means
Located downtown core with all bus routes and many services available
They have anything you want there and its hooked up to mats center
Good mall. Good variety of stores and connectivity to the Downtown Winnipeg inter-connected pedestrian overpass system.
Enjoy the walk. Lovely book shop.
Has a lot of stores, there's a bank, medical clinic, Boston pizza, food court upper level.
Lot of changes since I was last here some good some bad overall an ok place.
other than the food court and autopac is anything open there
Its a small mall. Lots of restaurants to pick from and other stores like Chapters, and a liqueur store. Its very clean and not too busy.
Got my invisalign from here and in less than a year my teeth are fixed! Very pleased with the care cityplace dental provides! Dr Sunny is awesome!
Small mall conveniently located in downtown Winnipeg with limited food options and shops. The place is bright and spacious.
Big food cot and lovely view at terrace
Small mall with a very few options, but its in a convenient location. Lunch time is crowded with office ppl.
Nice and clean mall, excellent location where you can find a variety of stores and restaurants.
Lovely and nice place to have a quick coffee
The mall looks dated and a little dingy but the food court is always busy and has a lot to offer. The mall itself has some useful kiosks and stores though the location could use some renovations and revamping.
A variety of food choices at the 2nd floor. Have tim hortons and mcdonalds. Rexall at the 1st floor and other coffee shops. Bookstore and a & w.
Lots of variety, interesting to brouse, safe en vironment
Keep aware of your belongings and surroundings, basically a government building, stores are very sparse and low brow
City place at Winnipeg Manitoba Downtown court food has a variety of restaurants or any fast food to enjoy
My bank is there, my doctor is there, the drug is there, Mr. Bean is there and the food court is there too..
Nice staff, nice place
Really messy. Store walkers are very obvious, DIRTY BATHROOMS. lots of theiving going on. Gotta watch your back place.
Over all clean and well maintained
Warm access to Bell MTS Place
The ° lack of shops °
The mall is finally being updated into a bright, cheerful atmosphere. They are bringing in better stores as well as more variety.
Perfect as the sky walk connections make Winnipeg winters a bit easier..
There is too many Low life people that hang around selling drugs. I hav personally seen this. Trouble breaks out easily. They use city place as a hang out. Not buying anything from the stores trying to steal from them and you. Very unfortunate.
Just popped in for a quick visit to McDonald's for a coffee.
Lot s of stuff open here..amid covid Procedures are being followed
Have done a lot of upgrades and the lunch choices and quality has improved
I like this place as its convenient. Still bit confusing about where to go inside of it.
Very good small mall. I remember it from the days it was Eaton Place. Despite changes in people's shopping habits and changes in Winnipeg's downtown, the mall has made very good use of purposing its space.
Decent mall with lots of good food options for lunch or supper
Nice and Clean friendly Employees.
Not many places to shop but it does have a good amount of restaurants to grab a quick lunch.
They're trying with this place but it's an uphill battle. No shortage of vagrants wandering around. Not uncommon to see police in this shopping centre. Some good stores and it connects to the MTS Centre.
Cool place to shop an wait for the bus
With the security guards wandering around there it does not feel welcome doesn't feel good
Has good options but hate that everything gets closed by 6.
Not enough stores, but what they do have is worth the trip. Great casino, drug store and liquor store with a goodt selection of wines.
You took away my beloved Marvellous Mmmuffins. Do you know how much that hurts? It's like watching the ending of Old Yeller the first time. Damn you!
City Place is ???? except Rexall Pharmacy. The employees aren't helpful as they're supposed to be and they have bad attitudes towards their customers especially Indigenous peoples.
