Has the usual Canadian collection of stores which Wal-Mart has around it. Nothing too fancy though, very little green spaces or plant life to make you feel comfortable. Over all it's an ugly black lot with a couple space trees and next to no grass aside from near one of the strip mall buildings with EB Games, chatters, and a dollar store. Really wish they would have had more trees and green spaces with some plant life.

Not entirely sure how to review a shopping centre, but here goes... The parking lot is a mess. Especially Walmart. Half the lines are painted the wrong colors and if the parking lot was ever more than 20% full, it'd be a nightmare because the aisles are so long. Then there's that terrible intersection at the end of the Tim Hortons drive-through. It's already bad, I can only imagine what it'll be like with more stores and traffic. Not the best selection of shops. The only things that bring me there now are the Walmart, Tim Hortons and dollar store. No gas stations or car washes. No pubs or bars or restaurants (that aren't fast food). No places that cater to tools, sporting goods or hobbies. Not a ton for clothing. I suspect this will all change as the industrial park to the north fills in, though.

It's a Wal-Mart. If you've been to a Wal-Mart, you know what to expect from a Wal-mart. This is exactly that, a Wal-Mart. If you haven't been to a Wal-mart, then let me enlighten you. They have lots of stuff, but almost no staff. If you know what you want and you like ok prices and you don't want to wait then this is probably the place for you. If you know what you want, you like slightly cheaper prices and don't mind waiting, then I'd recommend a website like Amazon.ca since they have about the same number of staff available to help you, but it won't get here for a week. If you don't know what you want, then Wal-mart is not the place for you, you won't find anyone to help you, go to a specialty store, like Safeway (or Sobeys), Old Navy (or Ricki's), Best Buy (or EB Games) or Home Depot (or Canadian Tire). Enjoy your Wal-mart experience, or don't. They don't care.

I prefer the south side Walmart but you can still find lower prices over other large grocery/ department stores for the same items. The clothing is a lower quality but for casual clothing, it is okay.

Plenty of things but I don't bother to ask staff for help any more if I can't find something because 3 times I tried and have been told "it's not my department" and they walk away with out helping or I've even had a department manager leave me standing around for a half hour and tell me she knows the ring I'm looking for is in the store but she doesn't know where, which on its own would be fine but she then offered to call me when it was found so I gave contact info only to never be contacted and when I went in to ask why there was no call back there was no reason but the item which was on sale was already sold.

Awesome little shopping mall, Walmart, subway, 4:20 store, shoppers drug Mart, Dollar store, Tim Hortons, Dental, Liquor, Bank, Etc. Close to Uplands and NORTH SIDE LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA. Walmart East side Huge parking lot is a good spot for trailers and truckers (camping trip / Temp stops) etc.

Beeper thing went off and I was treated in a complete unprofessional and deplorable manner it was horrifing. Thee were calling me dirty names. Walmart North in my opinion is better stocked than Walmart South. I'm able to get some things that i cannot find at Walmart South. Example is in the cosmetics aisles, where there are more options. I have not had a bad customer service ecperience here either. There is an elderly man who is a greeter at the door most times & a lady on electric powered wheelchair, they always nice, respectful & actually make sure they greet almost everyone coming into and going out of the store. I recommend shopping at Walmart North, Lethbridge!

Wide selection of items however, fruit is often mouldy or squished or the coolers are bare. Greeters are always happy and seem to love their job but I haven't gotten the same feeling from the staff. I can be hard to find someone on the floor who is willing to help you. Easy to find a parking space and parking is free. Open good hours to accommodate all work/family schedules.

Okay here it is I have done my homework and shopped around just to compare prices. it seems to me that Walmart is more expensive than some of the other grocery stores. This is the time of year that people want to stretch their dollar as it is expensive time of year. Really it's too bad because I loved shopping there but I'm okay with shopping around.
