It's a mall. Layout is typical. Food court has some variety but nothing special about the food. Accessibility has been well thought out in terms of bathrooms and main passages but once you get into some of the stores you may have issues. Reasonably clean. It's losing one of the anchors (Sears) and I haven't heard that anything is replacing it. Parking is not a problem. Public transit is convenient and accessible.

No matter what you are looking for you can most likely find it at Intercity Mall. Prices are a little higher there but I guess so is the rent, lol. Variety of options with the food court establishments and restaurants.

Just bought a magic mesh. Whent home to install it. It's didn't fit the door way. Called within and hour of purchase and told me to exchange it or put the money into a gift card not to happy about it. What is this a pawn shop? I've never been to a store that didn't refund the money within the same day as purchased. Won't be shopping there ever again. They never even said all sales are final.

CAVET EMPTOR!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CON ARTISTS Terrible service. Rude customer relations. They told me they would provide full warranty on one of their "exclusive products" yeah, right when i needed it they said they didn't tell me that! get it in writing is all i can say. Then when i tried calling the manager about it, the little twerp hung up on me. I was not abusive in my manner and he just got flustered and hung up! They basically sell crap that they don't stand behind. I own several businesses and pride my staff on being courteous. I cannot believe this store has been in business this long. I should have listened to the PLETHORA of other accounts of their bad service and lies. My bad. Just don't make it yours.

They have started getting items that are not high quality anymore. About half of the products are not going to last more than 6 months if that long. When the store first opened the products were all high quality and lasted a few years.

horrible experience. only wanted 3 heat packs and told the lady I wasn't interested in getting a fourth for the same price, but at the checkout she swapped mine out anyway and forced me to take the four of them. I wasn't told my purchase was final sale and I was sold an LED mirror that doesn't even work and when I took it out of the package it was already opened. so now I can't even get my money back for a product that was clearly resold broken. as if I can afford to be out money for this garbage seriously

After no return call I made 3 attempts to contact him and each time he was supposed to be there I was given an excuse by the employees. Slept in , car broke down. Etc.

The Selfie Stick on for $9.99 is junk, takes dozens of try's to get the Bluetooth to work, you always have to remove and reinstall the battery just to try and get it to work, have been trying for nearly an hour today...still not working, taking it back!

Worst customer service ever!!! Manager was rude and unprofessional. I bought 3 pairs of magnetic lashes ...opened one package used them once and the magnet fell off. Tried to return the other 2 pairs still in package and he said sorry final sale. No-one told me this at time of purchase. This is the second time items from here have been defective. Doesn’t even deserve the 1 Star... was told by one employee product is guaranteed with in 30 days... nothing written on the receipt about the policy as stated on their website!!! Brought back a crappy Gotham fry pan with in 30 days receipt in hand... guess what... apparently not their problem... and the employee couldn’t care less neither did the manager... walked out 30 bucks later with a fry pan that can’t be used... 2 ladies I’ve never met and a man walked out with me after seeing what happened... that’s 4 customers that will never buy there again... shame on you Showcase... I called this number as Google has it listed for Intercity Shopping Centre but got the "Showcase" store instead. I'm not sure if this store gets numerous calls a day because of this mistake but I have never spoken to such rude women in my entire life. I apologized saying "I didn't know this was Showcase as Google lists it as the number for the Mall" and got the reply "Well now you know" and then got hung up on. I would suggest you find a job in a different industry than customer service or go back to school and work in an industry where you don't have to deal with the public. Merry Christmas!

The manager/owner of this store is despicable. She interviewed and hired my son to work in her store recently. He came in to work his first shift and she informed him that she hired someone else without calling to let him know this! Who the heck does this to a young man who has a great resume and has not missed a single day with his previous jobs and willing to work hard and would have been an amazing employee for her. She wasted his valuable time and he could have been looking for another job in that timeframe. Have some decency M******* to treat people with respect regardless of their age!!!

Was struggling for a while after Sears closed but deserves another look. There are quite a few new and interesting stores that seem to be updating what exactly a Mall store is. It may be that I am just not really the sort that tends to frequent malls but the new trend seems to be stores that offer very good discount versions of things that are often only found in specialty stores. The quality is not always quite as good but it is still often better than you need and at a fraction of the cost. It was actually a very nice experience shopping here today. I actually had a Bell and employee talk me out of buying an expensive phone by explaining to me how my plan worked and when I should upgrade. A very pleasant change

Company uses fake reviews for it's own website to promote the products they sell. Keep an eye out for just how many "Karen's and Fred A's" review all of their products 5 stars. When I leave an actual review of a product of course it doesn't get posted we can't have people knowing the actual quality of a product being sold and that's a shady business tactic.

I recently stopped by the store and found a couple things to buy. When I got there, there were 2 workers behind the till. Once I was ready they were around the shop so I stood at the cash register to wait. Next thing I know a Male worker came to the till and snapped at me No, you weren't here first, he was. So I turn, the other shopper looked surprised and said No you go ahead! But no. The Male worker just ignored me, would not make eye contact and grabbed the other shoppers things. I will not shop in a store that treats their customers this way. Rude! So I put the items back and I left. Found the same items at winners for cheaper, and they were much friendlier. I'll never go in as seen on TV again Because other times I'd go there to browse, non of them would greet me, non of them made eye contact or even said a word to me. I'd ask a question and get a one word comment

Bought a hover board for Christmas. Bought an extended warranty for it as well. The hover board broke in the first 5 min of use. So thinking "thank god we bought the warranty" but it turns out the expensive warranty only covers manufacture defect which would already be covered anyways. The sales reps were helpful but the manager was a a real dick and wouldn't return it or replace it. I would not recommend dealing with this store. Very bad experience.

I bought the moon light from them and it was good for about a month. The only issue then was that the charger never stayed in and the stand always kept trying to break apart causing it to fall off the stand. this went on for a week which was extremely annoying. A few days ago it stopped working entirely. I plugged it into the cord. Nothing. I pressed the remote (which was very cheaply made with some parts of it bulging). Nothing. I would not recommend buying from this store. I definitely won't.

I am extremely upset! I purchased a 5d diamond painting and took it home and started working on it. (I live 3 hours away from closest showcase store) I was unable to finish picture as it was missing almost half the required gems of a colour. I tried emailing company and ask where k could get replacement gems. I did not get a reply so I went into the store and was told that I was not the only person it had happened to but all they could do is ask me to return it and they would refund or exchange it. Even after I explained how far I lived and that what good would it be to exchange or refund it as I had al.ost finished picture all but missing gems. I ended up buying another one so I can take gems from it. I am extremely pissed that in order to finish the item they sold me I had to pay double the price. MAYBE IF YOU KNOW IT IS AN ISSUE WITH THE PRODUCT STOP SELLING IT OR OFFER REPLACEMENT PEICES.

To say this store sells cheap products for much more than they are worth, is being nice. Purchased a product here AFTER speaking with the woman who works there about why I needed it and what her recommendation was. Told her why we needed it and she said this product will work, it's better than what we went in for. Took it home and it didn't work. Brought it back 2 days later as it was the weekend and we were told they can only give us a in store credit instead of money back. It does NOT state that on any receipt I recieved. Waste of 79$ because I will absolutely NOT be going back. Then they said its company policy and it's on the website. So now I have to go to a website before entering a store? This woman knew that we only bought it because she said it would work and work better. Pathetic, do not shop at this place!

Your typical large mall. Lots of parking and handicap access. There is local transit access as well. There is a large food court with an A&W, Subway, Tim Horton's and other restaurants. The washrooms are short distance from the food court. You will find a large selection of stores for clothing and specialty items. Plus all of your major cell providers are located here.

The location is great, the staff have always been nothing but a delight to have serve you or even be near. But the professionalism display by the manager is completely disappointing. Using inappropriate language, and calling people names when you haven't even had the pleasure of speaking with them is pretty atrocious. I will make sure I reach out to H/O for a formal complaint! Update: Manager did address me herself after the complaint was made. 0 follow up from company, other than sending the manager to tell me "she has coloured family members" so I shouldn't feel offended. Love this place. We are always treated good here. Never leave without having all our questions answered. Almost never leave without buying. Yesterday, I went in to get copper fit gloves, as the guy in Calgary basically chased us out the store with his ignorance. So we came back to Lethbridge and were treated great. As my wife and I shopped, the gentleman working played peek-a-boo with our son. The guy was quick to help and took concern when we spoke of our issues in Calgary. Even though it was not his store, he still apologized for how we were treated in Calgary. Always leave here happy. Extra happy yesterday.

I usually really enjoy this place but the last three times there have been a couple women working who talk about incredibly inappropriate things the entire time. I'm not a square by any means and nothing bothers me normally but it does make for an awkward shopping experience with family and friends when you're hearing about who did who and all of yesterdays gossip. Before these few times there are usually very helpful staff! I don't know what happened.

I had an awful experience in this store. I thought I had found 2 perfect Christmas gifts but when I got to the checkout counter the young girl asked for my phone number and email. I told her I didn't want to give it. So she told me I would be charged double. I have never heard of such a thing. The 2 sales girls snickered and made a nasty remark as I left the store without any purchase. No one should be forced to give out that info. Especially in a crowded store where anyone could hear. I won't be back

2 days ago I purchased a night angel(electrical receptical cover) for $19.99, $22.39 with taxes. I found the same item in other stores for $14.99. Today I returned to Showcase in Nanaimo with receipt in hand, with the item in original packaging, not opened and asked for a refund. I was informed there would be no refund only a gift card for future purchases. There is nothing else in the store I care to purchase. I was Also informed there was a sign in front of the cash register advising of their return policy, an accountant or lawyer would have diviculty understanding this policy. With a not to friendly attitude by the clerk I was told of no ther options. I will advise everyone I know not to shop eat Showcase and am also taking this to the Better Business Bureau. Kurt Miller

Had an amazing experience with this location. Staff was superb with their customer service, really appreciate Brittany and staff here. I placed an order online for curbside pickup due to the pandemic. I ordered a number of the same items for family but it went out of stock here. Instead of cancelling outright, they' gave me a few scenarios to make it work for me and I replied with my choice. Even though I had to wait longer than expected, I still got my items. That extra step of personally reaching out and making it work for me as a customer really made me feel valued. Appreciate the efforts here, will visit/order from again.

Our candle did not have a ring .we are writing a email to the manufacturer.we can not reach anyone at showcase who wants to address this issue for us What an expensive candle...wouldnt mind if the ring was accually there but it wasnt seems sketchy to us Thanks for loosing our trust and we will be sure to spred this across every scocial medis thats ava to us never again will we be a customer ....thanks for your workers taking the time to steal the rings befor the customer buys the candle ...i would say youll be out of customers before to long .....letter and email and phone calls to the manufacturers continually till i see results handed to us .....thank you for your time in this matter ....look forward to hearing from someone ....i wonder how many others ye are ripping off and they just dont bother to pursue the issue .....me personally im not going to stop till i get a new one ...ill be poating to your fb page all the time and emailing the company and manufacturers....i will get to the bottom of the missing rings...this is the second time ...very bad for your business guys ...anyways ill leave it with ye ......cheers enjoy your day

I have never seen employees being so DISRESPECTFUL to a customer especially at Christmas time. As I was going shopping to the seaway mall store in Welland on Sunday morning Dec 16, 2018 I approached the store window ,seing two employees standing behind the counter, it was 10:50AM all I tried to do was get there attention to see what time they opened. The older one ignored me and to make worst the young girl as she seen me she hides behind her co-worker twice to avoid me.As the store opened at 11:00AM I went into the store and they laughed about this .I find this very unprofessional and very disrespectful to a customer. I walked out without purchasing anything and unfortunately will not return.

I thought the clerk was rude to my child as I was standing right next to him and she should have addressed me but she told HIM not to sit on the seat on the hoverboard until a parent had signed the sheet - I did not notice this sheet therefore how is a child going to notice this - she was grouchy and I do not feel my hard earned money should be spent there if we can not be treated politely.

EXTREMELY unprofessional and RUDE! I would give ZERO stars but am being forced to give at least one in order to post this. I went with my little cousin and his father to visit Captain America at the mall. The event was supposed to end at 1pm. When it came time for my little cousins turn to meet his hero and take a picture with him what happened was SHAMEFUL. Cap took a photo with the two security guards that were with him right in front of my cousin and the one other kid left in line behind us. We walked up for my cousins turn and a lady cut us off telling us that he was done for the day and then he walked away with the security guards. We looked at our phones and it was 12:55pm. The event was supposed to go on for 5 more minutes. My cousin was wearing his Captain America mask and had his toy shield and was forced to watch him take photos with the security and then left hanging along with the child behind us after he took the bus across town JUST to meet his hero. When I contacted Intercity about what happened I was replied to with a BLATANT lie that "the event went overtime past 1pm and Captain America did not leave until there were no kids left" and when I provided proof that this was not true and that I had time to get upset and post about what had happened on the Facebook event page 5 minutes after he had already left and the post was uploaded at 1pm exact time I was then ignored. This is shameful service. My cousin came across town just to be left hanging and made to dislike his once hero. And all Intercity has to say about what happened is a total LIE and then ignoring me when I prove that they are lying. Despicable. Thanks for ruing my little cousins love for Captain America and then LYING about it. Heartless and shameless!

Horrible, horrible service and policies. I bought a fidget spinner from this store, and the bearing covers would come flying off constantly. I was told this was normal, and they were refusing to even give me a new one. They also tried to tell me I had to come back on Thursday to see a specific person to exchange it. I told them that is ridiculous and I live up the island. I had to be very persistent, and they lady finally went in the back to make some phone calls, to see if it was a manufacturer's defect. 15 minutes later, She determine it wasn't, but she would give me a credit anyways, I didn't want it, I didn't want to ever go in this store again, so I took a different type of spinner, and it's junk too. They sell garbage and refuse to stand behind it.
