The service here is good depending on the sales associate you’re working with but the jewellery quality is terrible, my first chain I had from here broke the second one turned black in a few months even though I was correctly storing it. Even though the prices are low don’t buy stuff from here you get what you pay for!

Michael Hill Langley is the only Michael Hill I would go to. Roya (manager) and her team consistently show positive attitude and excellent customer service. Never felt pressured to buy anything and always provided the right amount of attention a customer deserves. Despite being such a busy store, Johan and Hanna (associate) approached me and asked if I needed anything and to let her know if I need assistance. After some time and further discussions, a ring was purchased for my fiancé, and I know she will love it! Thank you for advice and options

My partner and I had recently moved from New Zealand and Michael Hill was our go to place for jewelry. We were lucky to have them here in Canada aswell. As soon as we moved here we decided to get engaged and our first and last stop was Langley Michael Hill. Upon going in the store we met Roya who first served us and since then we have always waited to be served by her or Neli who is just as Roya is in the friendly and professional service they provide. Our initial budget for the ring was a bit low but after understanding the diamond details and quality from Roya we had actually bumped up our budget to get the right and value for money ring which was also my dream design ring. After my engagement ring, we had also purchased diamond ear rings and wedding bands and this was mainly because of the right prices and advise provided by Roya and Neli. And on a side note these two ladies also have a very good sense of humor to entertain you while you do your deep thinking. Thanks Roya and Neli for your awesome service always.

bad customer service very rude manager ordered anniversary band for my wife and it was totally different size and it didn't match the original band. and they wanted us to pay more money to buy yet another band and hopefully it would be the same size as one of the two bands as they cant guarantee just horrible experience never coming to this store again.

Went and got our wedding bands from the Willowbrook Mall location. We had the pleasure of Roya Naderi the store manager help us and it was the best service we had ever had. We went to so many stores to look for our rings and never received the service we did with Roya. She was so friendly and gave her honest opinion. She made the experience enjoyable for us. I went to look for an engagement ring at Michael Hill's and I don't think I'll be going back...I dealt with Roya, and she was very pushy and rude about my choices and price points. She kept trying to push me over my budget and it made me very uncomfortable. I decided to go to People's Jeweller's and I experienced great customer service. I have decided to not go back to the Michael Hills in the Willowbrook mall but have not decided if I will continue to shop at other locations.

I love shopping here and highly recommend this store. The store manager Roya is the epitome of professionalism. It is always a pleasure to deal with her. The store is always clean and organized. The staff is helpful, honest, and lovely to deal with. I do most my shopping online due to the pandemic but I feel safe shopping at this particular location during these times and it is one of the few stores I physically go to anymore, due to how they follow COVID protocols and help customers feel safe and comfortable being in the store. I respect this very much. This is mine and my family's go-to for all our jewelry purchases. Thank you for the wonderful service and all your help.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. THEY WONT LET US RETURN JEWELRY THAT WAS BOUGHT. My mom went to this store to purchase jewelry from them and now they will not let her return it. The jewelry was unworn it was not final sale and was within the 30 day return policy agreements. She went to the store on 2 separate occasions to return the same jewellery and they told her lies both times. They first told her the jewelry she bought was final sale, and that is a lie. When my mom was buying it knows it she asked if it was final sale and they told her that it was NOT final sale, and she could return it if she didn’t like it. They then told her that they cannot return as she has returned “too many things”. She has made 2 returns and the store one in 2021 and one in 2020, and this year is clearly shown on her records. Even if she had made more returns, it does not say anywhere on their return policy that you can only make a certain amount of returns a year. We also spoke to the regional manager and she was extremely rude. She told us more lies, and basically told us it was not her problem. We have tried everything and they still won’t let us return the jewelry. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND ARE JUST TRYING TO MAKE PROFITS.

If i could give zero stars i would. Horrible experience here with my Engagement ring. They ordered the wrong size and completely blamed me for their mistake. Also charged me more because apparently "care plans done transfer" to the EXACT same ring...again, their mistake that i had to pay for. Cant even get ahold of the right person in Management/Head Office in Australia to explain my situation to. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Purchased our rings years ago at another location but moved. Went to get rings resized and repolished wish we had gone anywhere else! So much miscommunication and differences in what sales person said vs manager. When I never received the follow up quote, I called after a week and at first they didn’t even know where our rings were. I had to go in person to the store to get a straight answer because no one would call back, or the manager was not in. Sales associates were really quite rude. Was just an atrocious experience! Save your time and money. P.S manager slipped up and divulged they charge WAY more than cost. On a 35$ repair they were going to charge 85$+!

I was blown away by the service I received from Amazing employee at Langley location.I went to another location to return a chain that my wife bought me for my birthday & the employee told me I have to go back to Willowbrook where the chain has originally been purchased.I got very disappointed & wanted to speak to the manager but all I received was Run around.I called the Service line while I was driving to Langley to find out why I should go to another location for return???The lady at service desk apologized and said perhaps it was misunderstanding while it was clear conversation & not a misunderstanding & the other location simply rejected to give me any service!!I went to Willowbrook branch and the service from this location was phenomenal!I exchanged the chain & got something else The lady in Willowbrook shop gave me the best service & took care of me without hassle! She treated me like a VIP This place is my go to for my wife & my daughters.

dealing with Michael hill used to be great. I had outstanding service when i first became a customer years ago. since then the service has declined. I recently purchased an engagement ring from them, went through the process the first sales rep was great I came by several times and each time was good. when i finally made up my mind on which one I wanted to go with i unfortunately dealt with another sales rep who when i asked how long it would take to resize if it needs to be she simply said not long. (my fault for not delving deeper into their definition of not long) 3 weeks.. while this was a shock it wasnt enough to sour the entire situation. I originally intended to purchase the ring in full however they offered an 18month no interest plan which sounded good, why not keep the capital for other things. Fine. I set up the online payment and off it went. there was a kerfuffle online and for what ever reason the payment didnt go through (my guess is my computer didnt fully process) my bad they give me a call a couple months later we look into it. all is well. until i get another call saying I owe more than first anticipated. i go look online and my monthly payments are coming out what could the issue be? because of the previous issue i now owe over $150 in interest.. failed to notify me. after a bit of heat they agree if i pay the full amount now. i will be off the hook for the interest. After putting down the phone and realizing in full of what she said. 150 a month interest on my bill leads it to over 80% interest per year? So either she mispoke (i seriously hope so.) or this isn't legal. anyway i'm sure that portion is simple human miscommunication. either way the tactic worked and i paid immediately. The fact they use tactics like that shows what level of company you are dealing with. Luckily I have the funds to pay it out. As a warning to those who are using their credit services. do not do it. ever. I won't be shopping Michael hill for anything further.

I would save your money if I were you first time I went into Micheal Hill Jewellers I thought it was very pleasent. However they are out for your money they void the policies first time I went in at the Willowbrook Mall location I met Tammy. She seemed nice I purchased a ring set she told me at the time if I change my mind within 30 days I can return it. 12 days later things did change for me and I returned it. I spoke with Tammy then she said it had to be exchanged they can't refund. I had to buy something double the value which I did unfortunately I should have checked the website first cause it says on the site 'if you are not happy with your purchase within 30 days you can return your item for a full refund' now I am in serious debt with Micheal Hill Jewellers do not I repeat DO NOT deal with Micheal Hill Jewellers they only care about the commission they can make

Well bought a wedding set here and the wedding ring broke freely out about 1/4 and was lost as it wasn't felt. Just normal use. They wouldn't even discuss repair without the missing piece and accepted no liability . Rudel at that.

I went there last week. Spoke with one of the staff who was not so friendly & quit Rude I asked for the manager to address my concern & decided to leave the store without any purchase. She was speaking with a gentleman who was apparently their Regional Manager. Roya, the store manager and Chris, the Regional Manager left their conversation & she listened to my concern patiently She apologized and asked me to give them a second chance She spent quit a long time try hard to change my experience to a positive one At the end I was convinced to purchase the ring & I left the store feeling much better I definitely recommend her & she is my go to for jewellery

I went in a couple weeks before Christmas to pick out a diamond I wanted for my engagement ring. My boyfriend had got me an engagement ring several years prior and we had discussed upgrading the center diamond for Christmas. After dealing with Tammy, she showed me a 1 karat diamond but the price was well over what I expected my boyfriend to spend. She then showed me another diamond of the same size but lesser clarity that I liked much better. Perfect! We chatted about the diamond for several minutes and told her I loved it and to expect my boyfriend to pop in within the week. I sent my boyfriend her contact info. He went into the store and she showed him the $8900 diamond that I didn’t like nearly as much as the less expensive one ($5000). She told him that was the diamond I wanted. He said he couldn’t spend that much on the single diamond and ended up leaving. I find it repulsive that she would try to up sell my boyfriend so she could get a larger commission when I liked the other diamond better. We will no longer support this business.

went in just to have my battery replaced for my watch. The 2 associates had no idea how to go about making a claim for this and needed so much information for just a simple battery replacement. The watch I bought came with lifetime battery replacements. It took over 30 minutes for them to file the claim. When i went to pick up the watch after they left a voicemail, they could not find the paperwork/watch anywhere; 3 of the associates were looking for it and it took over 15 minutes. When it was found they simply handed it over and said thanks; no apology for the time it took. I can imagine they have a nice smile and play friendly when you buy something but as for ongoing service, you wont get that here.
