Friendly, knowledge staff. ???? Appreciate the greeters, often first point of contact at this branch. Enough staff that wait times for tellers are reasonable. Appreciate waived cheque and transaction fees, when applicable. No complaints, glad we chose this CIBC location to transfer our account to, when we moved here.????

Absolutely mismanaged. Waited in line of many unhappy patrons for 30+ minutes, while only 1 teller was open and several other staff were walking around unable/unwilling to help. Management needs to seriously rethink scheduling, or change policies to make it possible to serve their customers.

Great bank if you like standing in line because it is always short staffed. Lots of people there to sell you rrsps and things like that, but no interest in helping with day to day banking.

This branch closed my business account without contacting me. The manager who I talked to had no explanation why I was not contacted. Poorly run organization. Edit- I ended up talking to the general manager, who was very helpful and was able to book my business partner an appointment to get this sorted out. Once he had finished the appointment, they arranged to mail the documents to a Vancouver branch for me to sign, as I now live in Vancouver. But instead of sending the documents to the branch in Vancouver, as we had discussed, they sent them to a Calgary branch. HOW is that even possible?/ its 2021 I signed my mortgage documents online, and these guys cant figure out how to email a branch in Vancouver? This organization clearly has no idea what they are doing. Please do not trust your banking with this branch. If you are able to talk to the general manager Brea, you will get good service, but other than that, you are out of luck

I would like to complain the incident happened a while ago here in CIBC country club. I have an appointment with Mr. Chaker at 11 am and someone came because they have an appointment too at same time. In my mind, what the? Then Mr. Chaker came and he said he will talk to that couple first for 5-10 mins. Then I said ok? Just 5-10 mins coz my baby and my hubby is waiting at the car. After a minute Mr Chaker asked me to go to another advisor and he will help me (his name is Mr. Charlie i think). When we enter to his room, he said he dont know if we could finnish that coz he have an appointment at 11:30. He asked me if we can booked an appointment for other time? It's better to switch back instead! Worst service ever!

Don't bother trying to call the branch and speak with a real person. You will only waste your time. Going in to the branch is also a waste of time, especially if you drive a vehicle. There is no parking and the wait-time is outrageous.

I visit this branch at least once a month. The staff is friendly and generally very helpful. Yet, new personnel are often at the desk who are not so knowleagable as the more senior staff. Recently I had a trouble taking money from my foreign bank account since the atm machine that I usually go was out of order and the next one available only allowed me to withdraw 400 dollars instead of 800, which is the daily limit. So, in order to withdraw $800 I had to do 2 transactions and pay double fee for that. When I deposited this money into my CIBC account I complained to the employee and asked a refund of the second fee, it was little money but as a principle, why I have to pay for a defect in the atm machine which is responsibility of this cibc branch? I requested to ask his supervisor and after a while he told me that it was not possible, which was a disappointment to me that the bank could not do so little to be fair and make a customer happy. And I emphasize it was not my fault that the machine was out of order.
