Here you will see all the feddbacks of people who buy the products and services of Lansdowne Place (Mall) near Kawartha Lakes (Canada).
At this moment this firm gets a score of 4.2 stars out of 5 and the rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an opinions average is really high, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can say that the evaluation is very credible. If many people have bothered to give their review when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
It is the only mall in this city. Wheelchair and stroller friendly. It has good seating area. Lots of popular stores. There is a grocery store too.
Nice mall, but the food court was terrible as chairs were sticky with food from hands and table edges also.
Treat day!! First some over the top nails, then some bubble tea and a bento box for dinner at my nieces. It was honestly heaven. It was so nice to talk to people who I'm not related to. Know what I mean?
This is a pretty good mall. There is loads of parking so even when it's super busy you can usually find a spot quite close to an entrance pretty easily. The food court is one of the best I've ever seen in a mall. Not only is the selection of food great but the actual design and quality of the area is fantastic. I also like how they have people who sort your waste for you, that is nice. The stores in the mall are all what you'd expect in a mall and the malls relatively small size makes it quick and easy to get around. Love shopping here.
Great little mall. Lots of great stores. Great for out of towners looking to do a little shopping before headed to the cottage.
I'm not a fan of freedom mobile's I went to pay my phone bill for the month but ran into a problem I was told I was paying for my old phone number that I didn't have anymore so most of the money I paid went to my old account.
Our mall has really grown over the years and theres many great stores i love tjat theres a dollar store now one stop shop and lots of food places to chose from love sizzling wok they have the best chinese food
This mall is very attractive and has a wide selection of stores. Most are clothing stores, however. So it's not somewhere to go if you're look for home decor, etc. Though they do have a Stokes and a Sears. There are lots of jewlery places too and the food court has a great selection.
With Covid-19 happening this mall does NOT enforce social distancing at all. People lined up for the Charmed Aroma pop up store, were pretty much shoulder to shoulder.
EV charging stations and a cute security guard
There is wheelchair accessibility along with parking. Clean and bathrooms available. Vinnie
It's a very nice mini mall with a clean, well laid out, calm atmosphere, and at a very convenient location. Will visit again for sure.
mostly women's clothing shops, quite a large food court that can be very noisey, mall is quite clean with a few casual seating areas throughout
Great selection of stores, even when it's busy you have room to move freely throughout the mall.
Great mall for a small town, has tesla car charging ports outfront too
Pleasant shopping experience and good selection of stores for different needs. Quality of products offered is good and you can get good deals. A one stop shopping place.
Great mall!! Wish there were more clothing stores for women like myself though.
Nice freshly renovated mall is downtown peterborough
Covid rules is destroyed the place
Clean , good variety of stores
This is the best place in the Kawartha Lakes to hit every need you have. It is such a clean environment and the restrooms are even cleaner. The food court is well balanced with your favourites, pizza, burgers, fries, subs, pies, chicken, tacos, smoothies...
This place is a great spot to shop and they have many stores and great deals very clean friendly and there is a good court onsite with many different options they have stairs and a escolar also wheelchair access overall a great place to shop also tones of parking
Nicely laid out mall. Decent foodcourt that even has a Mcdonald’s which I don’t normally see. Escalators as well as stairs. Parking lot not the largest.
Had to run into the mall to the Dollarama. First time there so didn't know where the store was in the mall and had to inquire at the customer service desk. The staff were immediately available and nice. The mall was clean and although it seemed busy there was plenty of room for social distancing.
Nice organized place, clean stores and bathrooms, distancing and sanitizing observed, good selection of stores, solid food court choices when everything is open too.
Lots of stores, clean area, lots of shopping bathrooms are very clean good selection in the food court as well!!
A typical mall, but sadly lacking in a floor to ceiling fountain! The Food court could use a bit more variety. Better now that Dollarama has moved in upstairs but still nothing to write home about. Uninspiring.
Not a big mall but still a lot of stores to choose.
We were looking for Tim Hortons and stepped into this mall. It was so clean and well kept. Stores and food places had great staff. All Covid Protocols were taken care of.
Not a lot of interesting stores and the good stores don’t have a nice selection. Food court is the worst, I don’t understand why there is a McDonald’s there in the first place, they’re everywhere. A Burger King would be better and/or a place to have some middle eastern food . The plus side is that during Christmas their Santa Claus is the best I’ve even seen!! I would drive the extra 3 hours just to see him every Christmas for a pic.
Fun mall, great stores ... Love the food court
It's a mall. Pretty clean nothing above average. More variety of stores would be nice.
Great mall love the stores and the variety at the food court. Very friendly staff at the help desk there. Also think it's cool that they have a superstore connected to the mall.
Some of the worst weekend hours I've ever seen for a mall. Other than that its got a fair selection of stores to shop in. When you get to the upper floor, there is obviously less care shown to that side of the mall compared to the downstairs. Washrooms are usually clean, and the food court is cozy.
Great place to go shopping! Very nice mall. Lots of stores to choose from. Big food court with lots of options and seating. Grocery store is attached to the mall.Makes it very easy to navigate around . They even have a Tim hortons with fast friendly service!
While the mall is maintained in great condition, there's just no real variety in the stores. You pretty much have 2 choices: clothing or cell phones; and virtually everything is overpriced for the value (even those that don't fall into those categories). The food court is nicely set up though, and is interesting without garbages, but a cleaning / recycling counter handled by staff.
It is an amazing mall not too big its a medium size mall perfect more spending time with family and friends should add more stores and make it a bit bigger for example Oshawa center
A cute little mall. Very clean.
Great mall with most the stores you want and always very clean.
It's awesome but it's been on the decrease since covid
A nice clean mall. Lots of options in the food court. Not as many stores as some bigger cities but there's a good selection. ????
My first visit pleasant and comfortable.
I come here often since there isn't much else to do in Peterborough for young residents. Staff are friendly for the most part, and there are lots of different types of stores to shop from. There's also pretty much always sales going on for different stores.
Great mall to shop at, good variety of stores for all kinds of different needs and desires. Good variety in the food court as well - now the only place to get NYF in Peterborough. Very straightforward (literally) and easy to navigate. Train for children to ride on is a nice touch. I appreciate the middle decorations put up throughout the year (where Santa is at Christmas). Lots of parking, which is great, and many different entrances which is convenient if you're only here for a particular thing from a particular store.
The people working at the help desk are always nice and helpful. The mall is always decently clean and there are lots of stores to choose from. Wheelchairs and strollers are available at the help desk but they require id if you want to use one. I can't remember if there was a fee or deposit on them as I haven't used either in a while.
This a great medium size mall with most of the good stores . H&M , roots , nice food court . If your not in to the endless walking of a big city mall than this place is for you .
Can usually find what I'm looking here. Staff in the stores are courteous and pleasant. Love the convenience of grocery shopping and visiting the food court for a meal. I like that there are comfy seating provided in the aisles on both levels . Nice mall
it's a great place, but I was only going there to get a few sweaters, and it was not the right place. I did end up settling on a few, although they certainly weren't up to par for me. although I'm sure if you were looking to get more than just sweaters, it'd be a great place with a lot of variety in product and a vast selection of stores to choose from.
Love this mall. It has all the places I love to shop at (H&M, American Eagle, Lids, and Old Navy just to name a few) and everything is very neat, open, and busy of course. Great place to check out if you are like me, obsessed with shopping, while in the beautiful city of Peterborough. 12/10 do recommend!
Decent mall, especially since the expansion... Too many mobile phone and accessory kiosks, but that being said, it's a good mall.... It will be nice to see what happens with the newly acquired sears store.
Nice mall. Although I swear that the body shop was on the 2nd floor. Must have misremembered, it's on the main floor. Service at the body shop was good. I didn't make a note of the cleanliness of the mall so that in a way is good. Basically it's a mall in a small city, won't blow you away. But for what it is, it does it well.
1st time in a small in 7 months. Clean and very conscious of covid requirements. Store staff helpful.
Good selection of stores, adequate food court, parking lot is usually very busy. If you park where old Sears was located its better, but long walk to mall entrance
I just moved up here from Durham. Its a pretty good mall. But PLEASE put a Yankee Candle in here!!
This is one or should i say only mall in Peterborough. Nice little mall with cozy food court. They have not all the shops like big shopping malls but still good number of shops for small town. Only complain few shops like GAP and few other shops doesn't have any access from inside the mall. you have to go outside to go to these shops. In summer it not a big deal but in winter its make a big difference.
Always a great place to spend time and money. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in the stores I went into, and the selection was adequate as well as the sales. Where it lost stars was in the selection of stores. In years previous, it had many varieties of clothing stores, electronic stores, jewellery stores, etc. Now it seems that stores have been placed in there to fill the empty spaces, like the perfume store that has zero customer service inside and no decor at all. Or the dollar store on the top level that really didn’t need to be in the mall (with a dollar store across the road on Monaghan and another down the road in the Walmart plaza). In all, it’s fine as a place to get specific items at the limited stores in it, but the potential for better stores is there and is being squandered on feeble attempts to make the mall look like it has “variety”. The word, “meh”, comes to mind when I think of the Lansdowne mall.

Peterborough's primary indoor mall. Filled with your typical apparel stores, anchored by a Sears at one end and Real Canadian Super Store at the other. Plenty of dining options at the food court or sharing the same parking lot is the finer dining option of The Keg. Parking is typically sufficient, even during the Christmas shopping season. The lot is equipped with Electric Car Charging Stations, although often non-electronic cars will take them (as they are situated at the front of the lot beside the handicap parking).
Love Shopping here I have had some great times with my family totally recommend going to shop here. Not only dose it have lots of places to shop at, it has a food court so if your hungry and you want some food walk down to the main entrance of the mall and the food court is there. Happy Shopping!!❤️❤️❤️
Not much stuff to explore eventhough it has pretty good shops in it with variety of products.
Great selection of stores for shopping and lots of options if you would like to stop for lunch. Usually not busy to the point of frustration and typically has enough to find what you're looking for.
Wanted to eat at the food court and there was no seating available. I think closing seating all together would be better then having limited seating available.
Crazy experience. Can’t find the words to describe it. #awesome
1st visit , beautiful surroundings, well serviced food court , tons of outlets and very clean washrooms
Great mall. Tons of parking. Fantastic food court. Very clean and lots of seating????
Was there for a Dinosaur Exhibit that the Indian River Reptile Zoo had going on. We had a good time looking at the Dinosaur even if there were a few mistakes in them. We were not in the "mall" for long.
Does anybody remember coming down the escalators to see the food court & all the people enjoying themselves well having great food? I truly miss those days but do still enjoy what the mall provides & looking forward to seeing what they have for us in the near future.
I have no idea why I expected anything of thing place. Store variety is lackluster, inventory is even worse. Employees are nice but no point in going if there's nothing to buy.
Lots of parking and some good name brand stores. Food court is like any other as far as selection. Having The Keg on the same property is a great way to finish the day.
Lansdowne is a pretty good mall considering the small size of the city of Peterborough. The food court likely has something for everyone's taste. In the mall, although there aren't many brand-name stores, the ones that exist more than cover the average shoppers needs.
Decent selection of stores for Peterborough, with plenty of parking. The mall is always pretty darn clean, but they could use more prominent signs for entry and exit routes during the COVID pandemic - from outside the mall doors there is no indication which doors are for which action.
Covid isn't slowing down the seniors from occupying the tables at the food court. With reduced seating you will find yourself doing laps looking for a place to sit and eat with a tray of food.
Good mall! Hope they get more stores the public uses. Lots of stores are really not what people usually look for in a mall.
Not a bad place to get some shopping done or spend a day browsing and have a bit of lunch. Conveniently located on Lansdowne street an easy walking distance to other stores and locations as well. Multiple buses go here and lots of free parking available. Can be a little overpriced depending on what you're looking for and small stores change frequently/don't always last as long as some of the bigger chain stores. Large grocery store/pharmacy/walk in clinic attached. In between $$ - $$$, nothing too outrageously priced and lots of options available
Clean accessible and lots of shops to choose from. Food court is big with well kept eating area. Bathrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible. Great place to spend a few hours browsing or shopping
Such a nice place to hang out . I love the sitting area in the food court especially in the winter with the fire place. Could be updated though maybe a black and crome look with lamps.
I really enjoy going to Lansdowne Place, despite not being too big on malls. Although they took place a while ago, the results of the renovations are still stunning. The washrooms are always nice and clean (dirty restrooms are a pet peeve of mine), there's some great options in the food court, and the layout of the mall makes it difficult to get separated from people. They also have gift cards here which is really nice. One gift card which covers an entire mall is a fantastic idea. There are lots of clothing options, an ebgames, sunrise records, phone and accessories boothes and stores, a Lids, Spencers, Sport Chek, and obviously others. I like how it's not too large yet has many of the amenities of a larger mall. There's also a Sephora opening soon, so that's something to watch for ????
It's an okay mall, it has some decent stores but it definitely could have more. Not the best or the worst mall, the best you will get in Peterborough though.
Pretty good mall, has a few empty spots and quite a few clothing stores but the food court is nice and the new dollarama is a nice touch
In and out of Sport Chek for my son, new shoes, great service as usual!
Very helpful lady with an English accent. She helped me find the right pair of Birks and my feet have never fealt so good. Highly recommend the staff here.
Was not that crowded..which was nice
I live the mall for the food court. It's the biggest populated mall in our city. Problem is I think it's really expensive for shops to operate here. The prices in many of the stores here are pretty high for what you get. But atmosphere and a wide variety of shops is definately to be found here :)
Alwayz grrrr8 to go in Mallz again Miss it only a Bit lmfao
In 2017 there is very little that remains in Lansdowne place or indeed probably in most major malls that would attract me there. Things like much touted food courts are not of Interest. What remains there that might interest me is clothing stores however for the last several years I have found that I get the best deals and the simplicity of shopping online - occasionally at the online store of one of the mall retailers. The items I order usually arrive within 2 days and for me I would prefer that then parking and going through the mall. The last place in the mall that did attract me there was Footlocker where I would go once a year or so to buy shoes for myself or someone else. That store has now gone out of business. And I used to go there primarily because I felt that shoes were something I particularly wanted to try on before purchasing and that buying shoes online could be problematic. Since then I have bought shoes online on a couple of occasions and have been perfectly happy with them.
Its a mall. Its got a decent variety and good food court. But really, We have all been to a mall and they functionally are all quite similar. Unlike most malls though, its not just functional, its actually not dreadful to be inside.. They have done a wonderful job opening it up,and making it look and feel like a pleasant place. It doesnt feel like the dungeon most malls feel like with tons of natural light and space.
Great place to go and enjoy your day once again not many stores were opened maybe it'll be more opened now that we're in stage 3.
Nice looking mall both interior and exterior. Large food with plenty of options to choose from. That being said stores are standard nothing special & never really has sales.
Small selection of stores on a basis if comparison to other malls across southern Ontario. Some stores can only be accessed from the outside. Kudos to Peterborough for supporting mom and pops. It gets four stars because it has a charging station for electric cars.
Great mall for the size of Peterborough. Always kept clean. Fairly good variety of stores and food. Bathroom are nice and clean. Only down side is there is only 1 very small elevator for people that can't use stairs or escalator. But over all a very nice place
Lots of selection. The food court is big, but it does get crowded around traditional meal times so if you can, avoid it at 12 and 5 pm.
They don’t have wheelchairs, they removed all of them. That’s so inconvenient for people who have special needs.
Lansdowne Place is a wonderful spot to spend time with your family or friends, and visit some wonderful stores! And after you're done shopping, head over to the food court! Would recommend!
It's really the only accessible place to shop where you have bran names like American Eagle, Old Navy, Garage, La Senza, Clair's, Bath & Body, H&M and things like that. Next stop would be Walmart or Oshawa.
Excellent place in the heart of Peterborough to shop
It's a big place and it's nice. You'll find everything you need like the clothes and shoe stores (H&M, Old Navy, SportChek etc.), the SuperStore for groceries and the phone places like BestBuy and Koodo plus EBGames. There's plenty of restaurants at the food court and they're all pretty good. If you come here with a couple of friends you're in for a fun time.
Bright corridors, high-end shops with lots of seating if you need to rest in between deals.
Great mall for a small town, has tesla car charging ports outfront too
Lots of stores but then again I'm from Edmonton so we have West Edmonton Mall . 99% of people in there were very nice , very welcoming .I would go back
I don't like the security of the Lansdowne place mall because they throwing people out of their for no reason at all. People beware of the Lansdowne place mall security who is named keith because he is the one that throwes people out for no reason at all because we have had that experience with it from the mall security keith
Not good not bad just somewhere to go
Brett at Wireleswave was awesome as was Mo
Nice to see shoppers with purchases in store bags Wishing shoppers to keep these stores busy
Love the place always show up early but willing to wait until the place opens for business.
Clean mall. Still busy place. Got in and out and people are very friendly.
First time going to this place and it was a pleasant experience. BMO was right there; after sorting out stuff there I got some things at Old Navy and had some food from the food court.
Now that the mall is so much bigger there's so many more stores so much more selection. There's a place for everybody to shop. Wish they would bring back the island inkjet station that was there tho and put a washroom on the upper level.
Awesome shopping mall
How clean and organized it is now, ... amaizes me, thank you!, for keeping the shopping mall efficiently so well kept, even the dining room that invite us to come back, & thank you! for the the presence of friendly polite security Guards. Ana Ann.
Train ride around the mall little one loves it lol
Mall is fun I like the stairs
Bright, clean public spaces, a good variety of stores to shop from. Ample parking, however, navigating the parking lot can be tricky when it's busy.
Very nice mall with lots of brand name stores. The mall was very clean and we were able to find everything we needed. Parking was not an issue and we easily found a parking spot within minutes.
Love the layout and store selections
parking lot is a joke. Who builds a restaurant in the middle of a parking lot? JOKE. only in peterborough. i hate having to go to the mall. Refurbishment is much better than what it used to be.
Since Sears closed down the only big store there is a grocery store. I counted 12 stores in there that are totally empty now, have gone out of business. Not worth going there anymore unless you are looking to do your weekly groceries list.
I enjoyed my day shopping there. Got some Christmas shopping done
Mall is a nice place to shop. Sizzling Wok Chinese Food in the food court used to be good but recently the quality and quantity of food is less than desireable. Not sure if under new management or not but will now try the Thai or Sushi/Teryaki store instead.
Stores have good protocols in place but I'm stunned and disappointed by the number of people not wearing masks or wearing them under their nose. Couldn't get out fast enough.
Poor store selection, same stores as every other mall. Make the trek to Toronto if you want a better mall experience, or just order online if you can
Not bad. Not a huge selection of stores but doing some renovations so hopefully they will get a better selection. Not a great place if you are looking to kill some time.
This is quite a nice mall. It contains plenty of shops that offer great deals, and a lovely food court with a great space to eat in. It's well located in the city as well.
Has everything you need and more! Staff from every store I've been to is great, and so is security. Never as busy as other malls, even at Christmas!
Amazing clean mall with great stores and customer service is nice.
It is alright. Very small mall, food court is ok too, unfortunately, not too many options And the food not always fresh.
Clean building, great parking
Nice mall, clean and bright. Individual stores have their own Covid rules. Ex. You are permitted to try on clothes in some stores but not others. Some stores have velvet ropes to keep people from going in without clearance while other stores you can just walk in.
Good mall. Lots of variety. Wished they had more upscale stuff though.
Not a bad mall. It's very clean and the mall staff themselves are very friendly. Decent food court with a good amount of selection. Hoping with sears closing that they will put in something like a Wal-Mart or a Giant Tiger. This would make this mall more of a one stop shopping centre
Great place for shopping. Has a variety and selection of shops to suit everyones likes and wishes.
One of my favorite malls. I can go there for all of my christmas shopping and always find a good deal on something that i cant pass up. Parking lot is large and tend to find a spot close to the entrance which is a bonus!
Great options for locals and out of towners. Hours could be longer around the holidays and on weekends but otherwise lots of parking and security always visible and present to keep it safe.
Lansdowne Place is an unexpectedly lively mall with a lot of current and relevant retailers. This place is bumpin' and almost proof that the shopping mall is not dead (yet). It's not a huge mall but the nice thing is it is essentially one straight strip, not one of those confusing malls with 8 different corridors and 22 different wings. It's kind of two floors (but really one because the first floor ends where the second begins. It is anchored by a Real Canadian Superstore and the ghost of a long-gone Sears (currently being demolished). It also serves as something of a strip mall with stores along the exterior with external entrances. There is a reasonably large food court with gross fast food like McDonald's.
Good for what it is; a small mall. It has a good few stores and looks nice. What else can I say but it's just ok
Never had a major issue here. It's usually quite clean and tidy and the skylights add a nice touch of natural light (be warned, it can get quite bright depending on time of day). It's easy to navigate as it's mostly a straight line. Some corridors, like the one between Journeys and Green Earth on the lower level, are rather narrow which makes getting through difficult if it's somewhat busy.
We really enjoyed shopping here, they had great stores and there, however there were not many sales at the.
Lansdowne mall is small. There isn't much here besides clothing, but if you need to shop in person this is the place to go in Peterborough. Its a beautiful looking mall, there just aren't many stores inside unfortunately. If you go off of the Lansdowne street and more of the "downtown" area of Peterborough, you'll find more options for shopping.
Would be nice if more of a variety of stores Not sure that 10+ cell phone places are needed .....IN ANY MALL.
Absolutely love this mall. Has everything that you could possibly need. Also the food court it's great too.
The mall is a great place to hangout. My girlfriend and I had a blast hanging out with our smoothies at the food court. Great selection of stores. Sorry the Sears is gone, but something will replace it.
Lots of parking and a nice variety of shops. Spacious with a couple of pretend trains to get you around if you can't be bothered to walk. A decent food court with lots of tables.
Ok enough place. It's a smaller sized mall so it doesn't have a crazy wide variety, but there's and H&M, a Garage, an American Eagle, and other stuff.
Biggest mall in Peterborough. Decent amount of stores. Great place to walk in bad weather. Often go for coffee before the stores to read open because it's quiet then.
Located at prime location. Back side parking area is little confined to move out. Front parking is good. Nice food court.
Wide selection of shops and stores, enjoyed my visit here, food court selection was good. Not many empty stores, loads of parking and enjoy their free wifi.
The largest mall in Peterborough. There's lots of parking. There's a large variety of shops for technology, clothing, health and places to buy fast food. Usually it isn't too crowded. The bathrooms are well maintained and have up-to-date equipment. The Lansdowne bus will take you to the mall.
There are several great stores. Sunrise Records, Spencer's, EB Games, Journeys are a few that I go to every time I'm there. The food court has a good selection as well; KFC, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Tim Hortons, Thai food, and more. Some stores can be a pricey but overall its a nice atmosphere and tbe service is very good.
Lots of shops ... AND certainly many kiosks and places to pick and choose a wireless phone!!! Food court is at the lower level West end which is good that they are not integrated into different sections of the mall. And of course, Sears is CLOSED. Seating within the main halls is very limited if you need a break!!! Down escalator under maintenance (mid-July 2018) but there are stairs and an elevator. A few external shops which are NOT accessible from inside the mall which is a bit of a bummer. Massive free parking lot and usually places available.
Very nice mall i loved it
As far as malls go, Lansdowne Place is one of the nicer places to shop, and you'll have a decent variety of eateries in the food court when you're ready for a break. Also, one of the most important things for parents to know, is that it's a safe environment for kids to hang out on their own. It's not a maze like most bigger city malls, and there's tons of parking.
Large parking lot with no shade and no parking garage ruins the potential for a pedestrian city. The mall has a poor layout and has little room for little shops. Washrooms are hidden down long narrow corridors. Could use more comfortable seating and a sense of community, and green space.
Hidden gem, small but warm place to shop. It's surprise to see no garbage cans in the food court. You just bring the food trays with garbage to the trays table and someone will take care of the rest. Huge fireplace in the food court is a nice feature.
One of the only mall in Peterborough the best mall in town you can get each and everything.
More stores that it appears and nice wide isles to socially distance in.
This mall was a lot better than I was led to believe, its big, large variety very welcoming place.
An okay variety of shopping options for being such a 'small' place. Though, things will close fairly often and stay empty for long periods. That being said, the options in the food court are great, and they utilize a waste management system that cuts down on landfill waste and optimizes for recycling, so I really like that! There are also often events around the holidays and for March break for the kids, and they're worth attending as well. We also like the train ride. :)
All older lady clothing stores!????????
Good place to hangout.
Great place to shop
Decent selection of stores for the size of the city currently Constructing an addition July 2021 they have yet to reveal what the new Stores will be
Great mall for Peterborough. They need to bring back the movie theater.
Love this mall, good food court too
Definitely a place to go if you know what you're going for and the mall provides the store. For the population growth in and around Peterborough, I hope to see more diverse stores and some upgrades.
Nice place to visit in Peterborough, ON. Shopping hub for all kind of Fashionable clothes and electronics. Food court is there to give yourself some refreshments. Neat and clean place which makes it more attractive.
Every type of shop is here, clothing, phones to luggage and you can buy groceries and there is a Walk in Clinic. Plus you can get a bite to eat as well. There is also free WiFi which is awesome.
Great selection of places, lots of deals. COVID protocols are excellent.
Amazing mall to go to
Pretty equipped mall for the area. Got mostly everything you need other than a quality anchor store. Other than that, great food court, easy to navigate. Ever since Sears left that side of the mall is kind of stale, Old Navy keeps it alive. Hopefully another quality anchor comes soon.
August 2020 COVID-19: Specific ways you are supposed to walk through the mall. Food court is open. Hand sanitizer stands at all entrance and through the mall entirely. Lots of variety of stores to choose from.
Dying mall for years now. Overpriced and sad. Soon to be dead and will go the way of the dodo.
It's your typical mall though very clean.
Crazy busy most days, most of the stores are one offs, ie. Stores that are cute but you'd never shop at because their too expensive. The food court is decent, but again very hectic and busy and it feels like they need a much larger space for the growing economy in Peterborough
I find this mall lacks for all ages, is unexciting to walk through and there are what seems like 20 mobile clinics which is a bit much for a smaller mall. It just feels like a flea market now lol. Just a couple of shoe stores that are so small and again dull. We NEED MORE SHOE STORES IN PETERBORUGH. Looking forward to the new building. We NEED a Guess store lol! Also, some medium to higher end women's clothes that are actually hip, without being trendy.
Great selection of stores!
Awesome and even more awesome service at West 49..friendly staff and knowledgeable ..they found everyrging I asked for. even for my 6 year old!!!
It's a great place to shop it has everything you need. The mall staff are very friendly and helpful. The food court has plenty of great options if you get hungry.Lots of great sales and deals are always happening. One of my favorite places to shop.
Nice looking place not a lots of choices but the have some of my favorite Roots, sportcheck....
The place is clean, beautiful and practicing safe covid practices.
Starting to get more interesting stores which is good heading in the right direction can't wait for the remodel to be done
You have to give them five stars just for the food court. People actually spend quality time there. You can see people of all ages, it's nice
Great mall. But honestly we need more brand name businesses to come here like the bigger cities have.
Great food court and lots of shops...most importantly there are plenty of benches for the weary shopper who waits for their wife, who goes into almost every store. Lol????
Nice mall with all the stores you need.
a great mall! good store selection for a small city. spacious and clean. warm and cozy food court. great lighting in there too! one of the nicer malls I've been into in Ontario.
It's great just to go to one mall and get everything you need and they have a wonderful food court
Great mall. Lot more store options than expected! Only problem is no dining in unless proof of vaccination, and PHYSICAL ID. Not everyone has physical ID, and digital ID is not accepted for some dumb reason. Had to eat in the car and was super cold out. Not impressed with that food court rule tbh. Also, security lady was kinda snotty. Like I said, great store selection though for a smaller mall.
Being honest as a student, this is the only place (Lansdowne Mall) I go to when in Peterborough, for buying quality products as well as daily supplies since you have a wide range of stores in there.
Still a re-work in progress, but trying to come back from Covid
Clean and well maintained. Lots of stores you would expect to find in a mall. Love the softmoc
Not many places to shop in here anymore. Going to have to go out of town in the future. Would like a nice department store that isn't a discount store.
The food court isn't recycling anything. They have black, blue, and green bins on display, but when you go to sort your own garbage, you are presented with information that it's unsafe because of covid, and that all garbage and recycling is being thrown to the garbage. Come on landsdowne place, you can do better than that.
The big reason to enjoy your walk thru lansdowne place is the variety of stores so you can find that 1 thing you need to finish off your shopping trip the rite way
My home town shopping center i vidit it frequently
Love the atmosphere. Very relaxing. I must be getting old saying this. The food court is great. Comfy leather chairs with side tables and a huge gas fireplace. Couldn't be better.
Hate this mall Security ie rude, washrooms closed.....and people appear dead. No interaction with staff in 3 stores...its like they could not care.
Good sized shopping mall with good stores and decent prices. My favorite section of the mall is the huge food court. Always running into people i know so it seems to be the most popular shopping mall in town. Sometimes they host cool things with kids. Most recently they have a little train system that takes tours around the mall for a small fee for the kids. They also have a dinosore exibite from the reptile zoo for a few days thats a little over prices but still neat. Of course other stores are really expensive but just depends what your looking for. Iv always had a good experince at this mall with my wife and 2 kids.
A little busier than I would have liked, but all stores seemed to be strictly adhering to COVID capacity limits.
Great H&M store and great staff at LaSenza and Lids. My 1st visit to the mall----will return.
Great place to shop and browse and even eat - lots of variety in products, services and food. Nice and clean, with washrooms available. New stores and products for Christmas!
@ the Keg delicious as ever.
Generally friendly staff throughout, clean facilities and a decent amount of shops for its size. Could use some more clothing stores geared towards lower income families, seems as though a lot of the shops are fairly "fancy".
Good stores, super rude security. Absolutely shocked at the lack of customer service skills,or even general manners when dealing with security. That alone is enough for me to never return.
Spencer's is a off/shelf KIND of Store with Unique Clothing, Accessories 4 Different Like's & Just Browsing at Sport Chek . 4 me I no what I'm going 4 & in & out as soon as possible ! lol's ????????????????/5
They have closed down some of the entrances, beware! It's nice that they're trying to keep numbers down though!
Fun place to shop just with this pandemic and all going around it's a little scary. But most stores had hand sanitizer at their entrance so that was helpful. Great food court to.
Lots of retail stores to shop. Great variety for everyone. Clean and also has a great food court; good selection of food and a very comfortable sitting area
What can I say...its a Mall clean lots of stores to relieve you of your money. If you were to line every mall in Canada end to end you could walk coast to coast without every being outside. Its a Mall!!
It's a mall. If there is a store you need then I guess you would go here. I think the days of 'hanging out' at the mall are long past. Sears is gone so that half of the mall is deserted. The stores that remain all seem viable (although there is an overwhelmingly high percentage that seem to sell wireless devices).
Gret store .very clean and bright.lotts of stores..
Can go in mall, but not into individual stores at the moment.
This is a very nice mall. We went there to exchange some clothes at West 49. The woman working there today was very nice and helpful. They have this fabulous fireplace in the middle of the food court that gives it some ambiance.
Mall is clean, reasonably modern. Not the best selection of stores, but it's a small town.
Not as busy as I thought it would be
Nice layout, good food court, KFC workers were friendly, but slow and they got my order wrong. I like the elevator option, for parents with strollers.
Awesome mall, plenty of stores for many needs, be it electronics, home decor, cell phones, clothing, jewelry, and a decent food court to boot.
Clean, well-lit space. Not a very large mall, but it has some good/popular stores found in other larger malls. Attached to a big grocery store, which is convenient.
It's a mall what more can I say.
Over priced
Lots happening there, lots of sights and smells. Great food choices in the cafeteria, clothing, and overall items. Recently theres been a charmed aroma brought in which is fantastic. Great to hang out with friends and family.
I love all the different store's that are in Lansdowne place and they have the superstore attached to it as well the food court and you can rent strollers and wheelchairs there
I had no idea how big this mall was. I guess I underestimated it because one size was totally empty & still have the Sears sign there. The food court was sizable, relatively clean & people were friendly.
Alot of great stores
Not busy but everything is open and people are respectful, keeping distance and wearing masks.
Visited there as i had my G license test in Peterborough. Nice place to roam around. Loved to shop around and was cheaper as compared to other places.
Alot of the same things here as everywhere. Prefer the smaller shops locally owned. Go there.
Everything was clean, there was hand sanitizer available everywhere. All the stores were practicing the covid guidelines and the food court was open for take out. I felt comfortable shopping there. Thank you for everyone's hard work!!
Everything I needed and all staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful
A nice shopping mall, not too busy and has some good stores as well!
I really like this mall! Very modern now and quite a choice of stores to visit!
Lots of places to go. The food court is very good. I really like the Thai food station and the s&h health store is a great place got a lot of help from them. I miss the sears store though
They have done a great job cleaning it up over the years. Lots of store options. Friendly Staff and the place is kept clean.
Very helpful
Great place to shop in a relaxed atmosphere.
Not too shabby. Disappointed at the loss of Taco Bell. But still a fairly decent mall overall.
Great shopping experience. Plenty of variety. Most major stores represented.
It's a decent cozy shopping mall. Giving 3 stars vs 4 because the food here at the food court is pretty expensive compared to other places.
Nice atmosphere.
I went in expecting a two to three week wait on my work related medical (this seems to be the average), but they were able to see me right that minute (literally, I not even a two minute wait). All staff were very friendly, and the doctor was very empathetic about a separate issue. I came back the next week for a follow up, and they all remembered my name and issue without having to see any paperwork. I've been working in the medical industry for about three years, and I don't think I've ever experienced a better team.
Kinda crazy at some stores, line up to get in due to covid rules.
Lots of choices, great stores!
Clean and well maintained
Such a pretty small and diverse selection of stores. The food court is really lovely and spacious.
Great experience and staff so friendly. Love this store so much, especially around holidays
Very clean mall, with an excellent choice of stores for a small mall. The food court is always kept neat, and the staff are usually friendly.
Unfortunately do to Covid Shutdown haven't been inside mall yet... Just the bank
Good selection of stores. Covid protocols being followed. Clean washrooms. Some good deals to be found.
Took two little girls to the ptb escape room and while they were in figuring clues i sat in a comffy big chair they provide for us customers and relaxed and enjoy an hr of just sitting and watching and listening . I could hear them laughing and talking in there . Was great all way around . Thrn MacDonalds for nuggets . Yahoo a great memory in time .
I love going here. They have lots of places to shop.
I enjoy shopping at Lansdowne Place. It is not a large mall, but has a wide variety of shops to suit most tastes. It also still has a community feel about it that I appreciate.
When its open to the public yes great to shop there
Great mall. I have always been able to find what I am looking for.
GREAT selection of stores. Visited Grady's shoes and received excellent customer service!!
Lansdowne place has a large variety housing many different stores, theres something for everyone there! With that much of a diverse selection, one should say that it really brings a vast amount of joy. Its the ultimate all in one shopping destination. Highly recommended!!
I went to Chatters in the mall for a haircut. Love it!! I will only go there and to the one specific hairstylist. The mall is nice with a good variety of stores, plenty of parking and clean.
Great mall with good stores and a decent food court
Not a bad mall, everything you need all in one place. Certainly better than Peterboroughs downtown mall. Not much there
Good mall, has all the standard stores, and sometimes a train for kids to ride. Multi-level, with ramps and elevators for easy access. This is a spot where many local seniors come for excersise, and often the food court is packed with elders just socializing. No restaurants outside the food court, but it shares a parking lot with the Keg. Lots of natural light from the high windows. It's a pretty building.
Like the super store, variety and price aren't bad
Best place to shop in town! The only mall worth shopping at in Peterborough or Lindsay! Only mall that comes close or is any better is the Oshawa shopping center!!
All kinds and types of shopping can be done in just one place. There is grocery, mobile phones, clothing, accessories, and yummy food area as well. Infact the Bus of Monaghan Route has a midpoint of the route right near the entrance of the mall near The Canadian Superstore. The Bus of Lansdowne Route also drops you near by, then a walk of 5 min will reach you the Lansdowne Place.
Not very big but has a good selection of stores. Spacious and clean inside.
I love the food court selection. Stores are laid out nicely. Building seems clean. Nice place to people watch, since I'm not much of a shopper.
I would say its a pretty decent mall. Lots Of stores, for now. Not sure how good it will be once Sears is gone, and I don't think a triple wide Dollarama was necessary.
Wonderful first experience back into life. Good luck everyone!
People at Rogers very knowledgeable ????
Pleasant Mall setting with name brand stores. Nice, open aired food court with a cross section of tasty food choices.
Very nice mall. Clean, great people's. Choice of food court. We love it
Gotta visit Timmies!
The New Habitat Re store is amazing great deals!
First visit to this mall. Great place did my shopping for Christmas in one mall.
Aroma candles is my favourite
A small mall that always seems to have everything that I am looking for. It has a food court and the washrooms are well kept.
Nice place to visit, has many stores and has nice and spacious food court.
Hardly any xmas goods. Jewellery stores carried little for men. Will not shop there again.
Clean and airy. Lots of variety.
People's Jewelers was a very clean, sparkly place to shop. The friendly staff went to great measures to be sure I got the ring I was looking for, even completing the online order so it was delivered to the store. Some things you just do not want dropped at your front door. All of this service was given with their masks in place, properly, which I appreciated. Thank you for your help.
I usually shop online, but my rare trip to the mall wasn't nearly as bad as shopping in Toronto. Friendly shop staff and decent stores for a small mall
Could definitely use alot more stores for it being the only large mall in Peterborough.
Good
It is what it is. Not the same place from my younger years. Seem to be in a rebuilding phase.
Clean, nice to walk around
This mall has it all . Stores for all your needs .Banks and a superstore for food . It also has a great food court with beautiful seating. Lots of parking
Good mall. A lot of stores have amazing sales associates. Some stores aren't as helpful. Have poor customer service and are rude.
Biggest mall in Peterborough that has received a major face-lift in recent years. Not a place I usually frequent but have found decent deals on men's clothing on the discount rack at the gap outlet store. Teaopia is also a cool place for obscure teas and I think everybody needs to try a Lapsang Suchong at least once in their lives.
Main mall in my town, could definitely be better but overall not too bad. Has a decent selection of stores and some food court stores not found anywhere else.
A really nice mall with lots of shops to visit. We really enjoyed roaming around taking in the sites. Well planned with a lot of eating options and restrooms.
I like the mall and go there quite often. MCDONALD'S IN THE FOOD COURT SUCKS. Poor quality food. Is often out of stock . They never clean the sugar dispenser so if you want Splenda you won't get it. They often get your order wrong.
Very busy but the staff in the various stores were friendly and helpful.
it great except food court theirs no A&W wish their was go their more often
Not bad for a small city. A lot of stores for all kinds of shopping. The atmosphere is good with ample security on walks.
Great variety of stores. Since we found the parking lot at the back of the mall it has made it a lot more accessible.
Have always liked this mall.
Has literally everything in it, close to fifty plus stores. Very large food court. And plenty of places in the establishment to just sit and relax. Highly recommended.
Great variety of stores. Clean, and not over crowded. Great selections in the food court. And....Santa is there. Pretty sure it's the real Santa too ????
Landsdowne place is a good mall for a city the size of Peterborough. It has a variety of stores and a pretty good selection of places to grab a bite to eat. The location is great! Being on Landsdowne st. You can take a short walk/drive to more stores or restaurants near by.
On rainy days I have just walked around inside here. Diverse shops set in spacious surroundings keep me coming back as a customer. If hungry, there are lots of tantilizing options in the Food Court. I really like this mall.
i love this mall. its store selection is like being in downtown toronto but with the charm and first name connection of a small town with all the store staff, along with an epic fireplace to sit besides while enjoying a coffee. i did some assistance to the marketing director Helen during the renovation years ago.she seemed very eager to start peoples careers of by assisting her on a volunteer basis with future contract work if successful work results were attained.. yeah she talks a lot but when all the commèents on my "great friendly personality" and "how much better things looked after i had redone them" were reviewed it was her gold starapproval. i was there from early am till sometimes midnight.during the review by her, i asked why the team of girls i was leading, from another company, were being paid and hotel rooms provided? suddenly the gold star was tarnished and the marketed smile vanished. thats not your concern. I replied you asked me to help because your budget was done but they came after me..thats questionable isnt it? lets just say i was thanked and told shed consider me for future needs. the next month i started work with an event team that later on i realised installed the set for christmas.. there were no budget issues at all..the same year? overtime was approved too? but doing an event in the mall the next year was very with a tight budget and longer than normal invoice time...hmm id suggest the retailers look at where the maketing cost went that year and where they were paid back to the overbudget the following year...if im right both years they covered the renovation not marketing. As for Helens character? well lets say her assistant Emily was thanking me and aknowledging all i did sincerely. unfortunately she had no info on the budget at all as that was Helens choices. retailers take note. maketing is as good for her and ok for you. This woman may appear smiles and bubbly, but i hear in Penn Center shes cleaning house looking for future contractors and promoting her community "pillar" facade again.she does it all for "the look it gives her" but the reality is harsh and demontrative. ill shop in the mall every time inlm up there.. i love the way the management team still say hi to me when we meet. that says to me im a good reference, although i learned too much for Helens comfort. lasdowne place...thanks for your muskoka charms..always a helen free honour.
What I can appreciate about this mall is the simplicity of it's design. You're either heading east or west. It's laid out to be very accommodating especially if time is a factor.
Great selection of stores. Love the new look
Great place to shop, good food, especially the great Canandain super store. By far my fav store. Great people are amazing and there is express pick up for those who do not want to shop. Or instacart is a delivery to your door, touchless service for those who cannot make it to the store. Can shop online thru Instacart for food clothing alcohol prescriptions and so much more and get everything your heart desires right to your door. Many stores to choose from not just groceries ????
Mall was clean. But almost deserted. Staff in the stores are not super friendly. The staff at Kernels and Cleo were the only people to exhibit a personality and attention to customer service.
Decent little mall for the area
Great service
Great covid protocol.Love the stores
Great mall, clean and in great repair. Many store options. Lots of parking in well maintained and marked lot.
I was at the keg and it was amazing
If you shop there, you might put a few more $'s in the wallet/purse ! It is well worth it though ! Sport Chek- UnderArmour 4 me !
Best mall in all of Peterborough but super hectic during COVID time of course. Very good though !!!! Easy parking and good food court too if you are hungry.
I just had the worst medical experience of my life at this walk in clinic. The secretary was extremely rude and ignored the questions I tried to ask her. The first nurse came in and didn't close the door before asking me why I was there I had to tell her I wanted the door closed....not cool. Then the doctor came in and clearly didn't even look at what the nurse wrote down even though it wasn't much. He jumped to a diagnosis before I was even allowed to finish telling him all of my symptoms and I think the only question he actually asked me was if I have any alergies. I asked for a referral to a gyno which I didn't get. Also I was judged pretty harshly for being there at all after I told the doctor my symptoms which were of a sensitive nature he actually looked disgusted and and said something like " uuuugh oh no". He didn't refer me to somewhere that I could have proper tests done to actually figure out what's going on he just diagnosed me with bv to which I said well I was looking online and the symptoms don't actually fit very well. He just brushed me aside gave me a script and sent me on my way. I spent a total of about 30 seconds with the doctor and maybe 15 with the nurse before hand. Not to mention while I was waiting in the exam room I could hear the nurses gossiping about another patient.... so much for confidentiality. Seems like the only person actually doing their job here is the one nurse who was in the room while I was talking to the doctor she at least took the time to warn me about the side effects and things to avoid while I'm on the script he gave me. Hopefully the script actually works and I wasn't misdiagnosed.
The keg restaurant was really good excellent staff
Nice to be able to return to the mall. They have done a great job marking a path of travel to keep people an appropriate distance apart. Most stores had someone at the door to direct you to follow their protocols and rules.
Overall it’s a good shopping centre. The selection of stores is good, and the parking lot is well lit, and organized for traffic. I would appreciate more easily accessible wheelchairs entrances though. Some of the entrances don’t have automatic doors which makes it hard to get in.
Easy access to upper and lower levels from parking...nice variety of shops...food court needs a good homemade burger stall
We went to the Koodo kiosk and the young lady that helped us was wonderful. She made the process fast and painless for my parents to get a new phone activated. Thank you.
Lots of great clothing stores. Has a food court and the Lids store is one of the best around. The keg in the parking lot is new and had great service with chic lounge area
Good selection of stores for the size of the city, great washrooms: always clean, family friendly, and the nursing station is one of the best I've seen (2 comfy chairs, a side table between, change station, sink, and microwave, lots of space for strollers/older children). The train looks like fun too. A bigger elevator would be nice for busy days so you can fit 2 wheelchairs/strollers on at once, but since it's only 2 levels it doesn't take long for the elevator to make its round trip.
Always enjoy my time there. The physical space is open, bright and pleasant to be in. Always clean including the bathrooms.
I went here with my aging Mom to do Christmas shopping. For the first time in two years. Went to back doors by the store she was interested in. Only to find handicap parking cut to one space. A number of construction trucks parked by doors. Then after walking the extra walk there's no ware to sit to rest. Chairs an rest area's have been removed. Store clerk did point out only bench that she know of. No longer senior friendly.
Peterborough is a wonderful town and starting to grow. Lansdowne place is growing alao. To meet the needs of our public. Wonderful shops to buy things at with a great food court. The mall is expanding. And keeping up with Peterborough.
Nice shops miss Nygard I get the size I needed and didn't have to shorten pants terrific staff
Very few people. All the staff were friendly. Especially the girl at the Koodo kiosk.
It’s an okay mall. Best in Peterborough anyway! We like to charge our smart car here sometimes.
A good group of vendors but not really a mall to satisfy most needs. Great Food court though with good variety.
Has changed quite a bit in the last several years, but some good stuff still remains - looking forward to trying out the Escape Room they have there, they have a Dinosaur display at times and usually at Xmas they have a train that gives kids rides (it's not free though!) Great food court selection, bathrooms are excellent
Haven't been to this mall in years as they don't have scooters. I had recently purchased my own scooter so I went there to try it out. It was so much fun to look in stores I hadn't seen in years. There were a lot of empty spots and of course Sears. Peterborough is a place a lot of ppl retire to, it might be a good idea to have scooters.
They keep the floors pretty clean, which is good because that’s your only option if you want to sit down. Strangely there are no benches or chairs…
Very nice and following covid guidelines perfectly
The mall has a good variety of stores and it is kept clean inside and out. Our only main issue if getting to the second level when my partner is with me and she is using her walker. The option of using the elevator instead of the escalator is not clearly marked.
