This is a decent little plaza that is especially good for shopping on a budget. There is a dollarstore, a secondhand store, and an overstock store, as well as other bargain-oriented locations. There is also the bulk barn and some rather cheap restaurants that can give you some good deals on a budget. It's not especially attractive or anything but it has a decent selection for whatever you're searching for.

This is a good spot in Peterborough to spend even a day with your family. You can find a great little and tasty spot to have breakfasts, (a yummy one), you can also get some clothes, you can also find also a spot for lunch, good sandwiches or a soup at Tim Horton's, a good coffee too. What about spending the afternoon at the bowling with your kids and then having a nice dinner with Asian food? And after that, take your kids to Dollarama to grab some nice and low cost items. Well, if it sounds like a plan... Then this is your spot. Finally, it's pretty close to Walmart, Canadian Tire, Sobey's, TD Bank branch (with drive through), Wild Wings and some more.

Almost Perfect is always a staple, and it goes well with the Bulk Barn. I'm hoping Lakefield Hobby gets more stock, otherwise they will go under, and there isn't much in the way of hobby stores in Peterborough. The parking lot in the plaza still needs work. They improved some of it, but it's still a little rough on some vehicles.

A lot of good stores and a very wide variety. Can get anything you could want. I think the parking lot needs to be redone, as where the entrance for Timmie's drive thru is seems to create a lot of traffic and jams. Very congested and small/limited area. Flowers by Kay is advertised but I have never been able to find them. Needs better advertising. Southern end seems more "dead", unappealing, and dirty, which is weird.

Definitely better than it used to be. Much cleaner. The stores in this plaza seem to come and go, with a few being in place for years and years. Nice variety. Only downside is the bargain shop gone. I never really shopped there but it was a good edition. And the Starlight!

Its convenient. I'm in a wheelchair part time and love that brookdale is there. And Walmart etc. The only downside is I live on Bellevue str. Right behind the Bowling place. I can cut through there to get home. I feel that it should be Paved. There's hugh holes back there. It leakes right from ceiling at The egg-aand-bacon Between the restaurant and vapor store!! Pours out of light above. Big puddles. Also if your owner does want more customers the build nice sitting area and walkway for wheelchair people..wildly is our alternate drought and it's so bumpy I might writ a letter to mayor. While parked and waiting, the busiest store was "Dollarama". Almost Perfect has a location here as well. Many other stores in the strip mall ... Not sure if they are all as busy as Dollarama. A Tim Horton's and Pizza Pizza are also located at same location but separate from main mall. Entire parking lot is atrocious but has no reflection on stores. Timmies drive through is poorly designed for good traffic flow - got to have your head on a swivel to ensure there's NO vehicles around. But this little idiosyncrasy has no bearing on the busyness of TH.

Brookdale has always been a good Plaza. Shops come and go, but they usually have some good choice of amenities. Dollarama, Almost Perfect, and the Salvation Army are always good stops on a visit. Nice for the kids to still have the bowling alley, and there is a nice selection of restaurants in the Plaza. A few if the empty shops need to be filled, though. The only part of Brookdale Plaza I find problematic is the parking lot. It's a crazy, messed up lot sometimes.

I grew up visiting and then later hanging around the Brookedale Plaza. I have seeing it evolve and reinvent itself many times. Its current persona has an eclectic offering that has something for everyone. Including a bowling alley!!!

A good plaza with some good restaurants and shops. Restaurants include: corner cafe, PJs diner, loon ho Chinese restaurant, pizza pizza, and Tim Hortons. Shops include : liquidater, Ida pharmacy, dollerama, bulk Barn, almost perfect, a hobby shop, forbidden pleasures and some other shops.

Jeff Purveys Fish and Chips is one of Peterborough's hidden secrets. Great fish and delicious fries at reasonable prices (the family special is a good one!). Fast service. Love ordering by phone! Love this place.

Security guard told me he was "watching me" and shook his finger in mu face while waiting to pickup someone from a store. Was literally there for under 120 seconds. Parking lot is horrible and stores are pretty bleak.
