Nobody available at reception on check in, just phone contact. No fridge or microwave or ironing gear in room, although there was shared equipment in the hotel. No elevator. No breakfast. Noisy AC.

You get what you pay for. Friendly staff, clean rooms, very affordable. Paper thin walls, very old hotel, strange layout.

They gave us 4 days before expired yogurt in the morning. My little one ate one yogurt, i did not notice the date cause I did not expect hotel can provide the food without checking the expiry date. No microwave oven. Did not find exhausted fan switch in the wasgroom. Felt heat. Ac does not work much. Otherwise good. Comfortable bed.

The staff is friendly... However, with the majority of their parking over a block away, and the rooms being tiny soured my experience. Couple this with with shower being minuscule. Maybe this is the reason there was a mat of hair all over the shower wall. It was shocking hiw much hair was all over the wall that the cleaning staff didn't notice.

The stay in this hotel was terrible for cleanliness. immediately after we got into the room we felt unclean, the carpet was very sticky and not clean. I could hear the noise from outside and it wasn't very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The front office staff were very welcoming and helpful. The parking on this hotel is in outside close to a liquor store and pub and didn't feel safe parking outside.

My daughter and I are in town to visit and a family member booked a room for two nights here… we wound up not using it and let them take it while we crash on their couches because MY 12 YEAR old was demanded to show her ID to the point she was in tears!!

Oh no I thought when I realized that this Plaza was once a downtown dive back in 1987, and thought I made a big mistake. But, now in 2016 things have changed for the better. This place has been fixed up/added to, with a modern restaurant along with renovations to rooms, staircase, elevator & interior decor, but keeping the best of an older era. My fiance & I could have stayed a 2nd night someplace else but it felt like home in a comfortable, friendly place that threw in a complimentary full breakfast each for under $100 a night. You're in old Kamloops, downtown, hardly any traffic, great for walking, close to the river, bars and other restaurants. You can find something wrong but you have to be a pretty picky person, the front desk gal even tried to chase me down through the parking lot to tell me I left some cloth's in the closet...that's gotta count for something lol, enjoy your stay!

Hotel is sub standard, old and quaint but stay away. Get overcharged, no promised breakfast, ad offered, staff tries to deny you anything your thing you think you should get. Stay elsewhere, or get ripped off
