Its great, not like the big malls. However because of the C19 it's killed the most important holiday of the year 2nd to new years. And because of this every place is below it's capacity. In closing May you have a joyous and festive holiday with you and your family albeit six feet apart. My wish for Christmas is that this pandemic brings us closer together (pardon the pun). The only reason this mall has thrived is due the existing mediocre Walmart in it. It used to have a slightly better vibe and atmoaphere but now most businesses have left due to possibly high rents and low sales. With the development of new markets around it, it needs to up its game or....

so convenient to pickup groceries from walmart in designated grocery parking where they bring and load in car, also so happy with the pharmacy, so professional, thorough, friendly, call when prescription ready, still have 6 foot distance stickers on floor but masks are optional now. the mall has a big dollar store, food fair, kins market, suzy shier, urban planet, and showcase. check it out!

This is a nice mall to go and get away from some of the big name stores. The food court has a nice variety of foods. If you really just crave the big department store atmosphere, Walmart is a stone's throw away.

Bodycrafters is a very high end supplement store. They have top of the line supplements and offer a variety of smoothies. They also offer customized meal plans. I decided to give the meal plan a go. I could not be happier. At Bodycrafters, we decided on a daily calorie level spread over two meals, one snack and one smoothie (I prepare my own breakfast at home). Whenever I had tried to get in top shape, I always found myself stuck eating the same bland foods (which invariably lead to cheating). This has been a wonderful surprise. The food is widely varied, extremely fresh, delicious and prepared with care. I am excited to see what each meal will bring! My energy level and overall mood have improved very notably since I began this plan. It is not that expensive either. They can customize a plan within whatever budget you have. It is far, far less expensive than eating out. It is even cheaper than just grabbing a garbage meal from the food court. I suppose preparing all of your own meals would cost less, however, keep in mind the time one saves in shopping and preparing food and doing dishes. Not to mention tracking calories. Being on this plan saves me hours upon hours per week, simplifies my days and motivates me greatly.

This is a nice place to shop at if you stay around capilano, you find most of the regular store here. I visited this place when I had to visit Walmart pharmacy, though I don't regularly visit capilano.

I had my bike with me and I went to Walmart and I tryed to park my bike in the front entrancway because I did not have a lock for my bike and I was told that I cannot leave it there so I exited the store and was not able to shop at the Walmart so it’s Walmarts loss.And mine because I could not shop at Walmart so Walmart please change

Nice place to visit to get your weekend shopping done. Although not as big as Park Royal in West Vancouver, the mall still has a big food court to suite your appetite! Apart from several clothing stores, there is the Wal-Mart giant, EB Games and a 24 hour gym with every equipment imaginable at an incredible price! Very clean too!

This mall is so depressing. That said it's convenient if you can stand to shop at Wally Mart. There's a decent liquor store, Cobbs bread, Kin's Market, Timmies, Ming Wo and a decent food fare.

Says online they're open till midnight but they aren't the Walmart closes at 11 and then at the checkout the first lady I spoke to told me I have to scan and bag and pay with the self serve machines then she walked away and I had over 400 dollars in groceries ... Luckily an older more helpful employee offered to help me

This mall barely has any stores and all of the stores is has are pretty much useless. There is a 24 hour gym, a Starbucks and Walmart. And those are pretty much the only places that are busy. Oh and there is a Kin’s farm market here as well which I find the produce to be quite expensive when they have walmart as their competition literally right around the corner.

Nice place, plenty of shops to peruse. There's an active pair of bus stations nearby that serve as stops for a handful of bus lines, making transport easy. If you're savvy with time, you may not even need to buy another ticket.

I go to shop not to get hit with your unwelcoming message , of welcome to Walmart now before you think of your self and your family that you are trying to feed donate to some one or thing else.you have no wishes to do at the store. As malls go it's average size and has an average food fair. Major anchors are Walmart and Sears- thirty and dull. But it's got a liquor store and lots of parking- go for indoor parking always lots of spots.

Cap mall seems to be losing some spark. Since Sears left, the only anchor tenant appears to be Walmart, so I suppose that’s the main attraction. Maybe a Ross store or Winners would be attractive replacement for the old Sears location?

One of the good places here is the court in front of the wallmart where it offers a lot of sitting space, especially after a shopping spree.

Truly a shadow of its former self. Consistant turnover of businesses in the mall weighed down by Walmart which is the primary reason you would come here anymore. The 24 hour fitness is the other reason which has decent facilities for a gym on the cheaper end of the subscription model and it's open 24 hours. A notable plus is the proximity to grocery stores just across the street so it can be a one or two stop shopping location.

Capolando Mall has grown into a whole new entity in recent years. It has morphed from a completely indoor mall to primarily a nicely high-end strip mall. It has a nice clump of food services, financial services, and general shopping places. Upgraded and new looking. Check out their website to see who all is here and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.

Well its a regular mall as any other but has a vast array of stores all throughout the mall that addresses everyones needs. Theres a dollar store down at the end of the mall just past fitness for everyone that is basically a real dollar twenty five store as every single items is for that and no higher. The staff are very polite and helpful I have been going there every day for a 2 years now, and I am more than satified with everything they have for there customers which ranges from gardening stuff to school supplies, cell phone accessories et c. Its a great little store cant beat it for times like this when everyone is trying to stretch there dollar. Check it out!

This mall is dying. Sears closing was a death blow. For ages they struggled to find anyone to fill the space and now it's a bad furniture store. They are replacing closed stores with ads to try to hide it. The mall is creepy and very few people are there anymore. The only reason you should come here is that they have a Walmart. Used to be nice.

Don't let this shopping mall fool you, it's quite big with many great store and parking at the back. If you use Car2go, you'll have no problem finding parking or available cars if you need to leave after a big shopping spree The only thing I didn't like about this mall is the fact that the front of the building is kinda dead and there isn't much.

Fantastic shopping centre- has visitor center for customers who need info about various shops in the mall, or can buy gift cards there, ,many stores( many wireless mobile dealer stores), even a great childrens supervised play area . The food court is not as great as it used to be ( half the food kiosks have disappeared; ) there is a GOV’t liquor store selling COLD (slightly refrigeratored beers) as well GREAT Selection of different wines, rums, scotch etc, KIN’s market selling fresheveryday -always ; produce. Much to choose from any store . Come see for yourself( even walk- in doctor clinic, eyeglass store )

It had what we needed. And a Starbucks too. Parking for electric vehicles frequently full. Wheelchair accessible. Handy-capable parking has many spots, but often full (often with vehicles not displaying the disability hang tag). Like the totems in the main hall. Kids enjoy the free play area near the dollar store. Go bananas has a drop and shop service. Walmart has electric scooters for mobility aids. Leave ID at service counter as collateral to use in-store. Bathrooms recently renovated. Kin's farm market is great for fresh produce at a good price. Good assortment of shops in food court, but teenager disappointed no pizza. But loved the sushi place. Son enjoyed A&W hamburger, husband liked the Subway sandwiches, I went for Tim Hortons, where ingredients are available online and I can make safe and delicious) food choices. After lunch our son went to EB Games to buy a new video game and controler. Daughter bought new clothes at Urban Planet. Husband bought some craft beer at BC Liquor Store, and I got my list of household needs at Kins Farm Market, Cobs bread, dollar store, and the Walmart, super center. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Has dentists and doctor offices too. Well rounded store selection in an indoor mall with plenty of free parking.

You're pretty much here for Sears or Walmart, but Sears is gone for good. They have a decent liquor store and there's a Starbucks, 2 birds with one stone I guess, except they're at opposite ends of the mall. Walmart is its anchor. Food court, kins, cobs,quilts, dollar store purdy,source etc. Some small store closures. I would give more stars but after a long while since covid people still are not wearing masks and or properly observing social distance and pathways. In walmart( and around food court. It's the people who sit by the loto screens and sitting in food court with free wifi who dont cover up and or properly. Come on people it's not that difficult or hard. You are in amongst many people. The mall has a mandatory mask policy. Be responsible and respectful. Once the pandemic is over I think this mall needs a refresh,reboot, rebuild.

Capilano Mall is more of a failure, located in North Vancouver. Built in 1967, Capilano Mall is a nearly dead mall, unfortunately. ❗️No big brands are inside the mall and its mostly like a local market with a ceiling. The stores are not well lit and many unsuccessful small businesses reside there. ????There are some almost good restaurants in the mall and some offices ok floors 2 to 4 with lots of parking available. Last hope in the mall was Starbucks that shut down in 2020. There is also a Walmart inside the mall. Hope this mall improves, at least for their local people. ????

Mall was as clean and nice as always, however they must have changed their schedule or something. By the time I left Walmart at 7.10pm tonight I couldn't go back to into the mall. Had to walk around the mall carrying my groceries trying to find an unlocked door so I could go back to my car which was in P2. Luckily a security guard saw us struggling and let us in. Also, the parking lot doors were closed and the instructions to exit the parking lot after hours are not clear at all.

Capilano Mall is one of the smallest malls in Metro Vancouver, and a lot of the stores there are very lackluster. The mall is actually vacant in some areas due to the closing of many stores here. Only reason I give it 2 stars at all is because of the Wal-Mart, food court, Kin's Farm Market, Cob's Bread, and the Sweet Lime Cafe. Everything else in the mall is practically worthless. Do yourself a favor and go to any other mall, as they have more to offer in contrast to this one.

The last time I was at Capilano mall I had a great eat time looking at the different stores especially Walmart there's way wheelchair access all through the mall ramps everywhere lots of free parking located on Marine drive in North Vancouver it's one of those places were you go again and again and there's always a friendly face the staff there are always happy to serve your needs so no next time your in North Vancouver stop by Capilano mall.

This plaza is tired, run down and poorly maintained. Starbucks and Tim Hortons have left so there's no place to get a decent coffee. Restrooms are daunting to say the least. Filthy floors, stalls missing doors and leaky toilets are just a few of the surprises you might encounter on a good day. Retailers and fast food restaurants just keep vacating this place. Ne'er-do-wells hang out in the food court using the wifi and wall outlets to charge their cellphones or laptops from open 'till close. Picnic tables by the Liquor store harbor rowdy skateboarders and invite daytime tipplers. It's quite the crowd! Walmart, the Liquor store and the Lottery kiosks seem to be the stalwart anchors here.

Capilano Mall is a big mall in North Vancouver. It was a short walk from the Air-B&B where we stayed for a couple of days and we visited it during an early morning walk. It was too early to be open at 8 am but we did see that it had a Walmart Store Super-center which we could visit later for groceries or any other necessities. There was also a McDonald's restaurant if we wanted to dine out. We walked through the huge parking lot and marked it in our mental map for a later visit.

A good little Mall. Wal-Mart, BC liquor, Fit 4 Life, and others. It lost SEARS a while back when SEARS filed for bankruptcy. The mall still hasn't found a big brand partner for that opposite corner of the mall which I think it needs. Currently it's filled with a discount furniture store.

Horrible Santa experience! Went to Capilano Mall for Santa photos yesterday and it was the worst! Santa did not know how to hold a child, which began a crying fit for my daughter (her one leg was up in the air and Santa was almost dropping her), but he was much better than the photographer. The photographer had an issue with the fact that our daughter was upset and kept rushing us and telling us "oh no, she's fine. It looks ok". Santa was great, telling us not to rush her and it was ok, but that was when the photographer took the photo and said ok, we are done. There was one person behind us in line, so I do not know what the rush was. She thought it was funny how horrible our photos turned out and even said so. That lady should not be doing this type of job. We got the worst photo and experience ever! Never, ever, go to Capilano mall for your Santa photos!

The Mall is coping very well under the current circumstances in terms of safety. That said, the number of boarded up units tells its own story. The stores that remain are hanging in there. The only time we have to queue is at the Liquor Store but the line moves quickly. As always, the staff are very helpful and keep things moving.

We went here early one morning to buy electrical items and greeting cards. As it was early not many people were there. We quickly found exactly what we needed so we weren't there for a long time. Overall I was impressed by the selection of stores and the very helpful staff we encountered. It is certainly worth a long visit. There's also a food court I noticed which would be great to avail of.

Capilano Mall is centrally located, easy to get to and has a good selection of stores to satisfy most general shopping trips. It's fairly small though and there isn't a huge variety so it tends to be better for those shopping trips where you know what you want before you get there.

Capilano Mall has everything you could possibly want including "Showcase", used to be called 'As Seen On TV', that carries all the stuff you see on the info-mercials, great place for the stuff you always wondered about and don't want some random person having your credit card number. Furniture store, Food Fair for quick bite, Dollar Store, Walmart, groceries, clothing stores, etc. Everything is here that you could possibly want but another mall with a really weird floor plan and access. They have a mall concierge so you can always ask questions about where or how to find a store. If you are taking the bus here keep your eyes open because it's a weird looking mall from outside and it's easy to miss. Inside if you are looking for washrooms keep your eyes open - well, do that in this mall anyways because signage is small & deceiving and if you aren't familiar with this mall you'll miss what you were looking for. Pretty bad when the concierge & security people agree that the information and directional signage leaves alot to be desired. Basically if you aren't careful you'll miss the washrooms altogether or end up in the men's loo instead of ladies (which has NO marking except out in the main part of the mall). Pretty bad when I asked for directions to one store and was told to walk through the furniture store - I asked if I was going to get kicked out of furniture store and concierge told me that I wouldn't because they were used to people using their store as a short cut, wow.....but I got where I needed to go and didn't get tackled on my way through.

A good place to shop, but lacking a lot of good stores. Most of the stores Arno brand and just regular stuff. If you want to find something more exclusive or a little bit better, you have to go to Park Royal.

Right across the street from my workplace. I can have access to fast food, EBGames, Walmart, Cobb's, Purdy's, and a few other places. Save On Food is right across the street with Swiss Chalet / Harvey's. Shoppers Drug Mart, Thrifty Foods, and a future Whole Foods will open as well

Update as of June it's open again. One star more Capilano mall. It's closed again! Mall is clearly not. Concerned about its customers coming for a visit and making it easily accessible. How is this even ok with fire department as it's an exit, that is closed? Wat on earth is taking so long? If I was an tenant I would be asking for reduction in rent. One can oly assume it effects driven traffic to the mall. Update after more than a year the ramp is open. I don't know what they did because it's still pot holed and they now put cones out for what reason I'm not sure. It's narrow already. Why was it closed? No i The mall has a nice old fashioned feel to it but there are a lot of closed vendor. Not to mention Sears leaving, left a gaping hole in the mall with no other anchor besides Wallmart. Would love to see a Costco or superstore go in there. The upper north East wing is taking on a bazzare atmosphere and is too dark. Food court faves, cazba and halema Indian food, always nice not to mention a good variety of food to choose. Parking lot entrance on West side ramp has been closed for way too long!????

It's a tiny mall but it has everything i need. There's an area for my baby to play at, there's a gym, there's also a food court (although the food is not great but will do), a liquor store and of course there's a Walmart! What else could ask for.

This park is located on the north Vancouver. I’m not sure but this place is private and the tickets price definitely isn’t cheap, but if you are a visitor or recent arrived to Van to living here, You should visit it. Beautiful park, it’s very well maintained, with walking places mainly on the top of trees, even in the cold ou warm season.

Pretty decent mall. It closes a little early for me, but the gym seems to be available 24/7. The Walmart is open a lot longer than the rest of the mall. Which is cool if you want to go to Walmart. I honestly didn't get to see much of the other stores in the mall (remember it closes too early for me). But I was walking around the place and it has some nice scenery on the outside.

If I ever feel like walking around a mall without having to worry about running into people at every turn, this is the mall I'd choose. I don't see this mall being very useful for young people.

There are no big retail stores at this mall unless you count Walmart. The main reasons to go to this mall are Walmart, BC liquor store and Cazba. You will also find every telecommunications company in this mall.

It's a local mall located on Marine Dr. North Vancouver ... If you are looking for Walmart, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Cobs, Liquor Store, Jwerely or even Persian, Japanese, Arabic fast food restaurants then it's a right right place for you. There are also free parking spots available for the clients!

This mail must be struggling mightily. Every time I venture over there there's nobody there. The Tim Hortons fell victim to Covid 19 as well as a couple other stores. I've never once seen anyone in the Rug store. Walmart seems to be the only one thriving and I don't know how when they never have anything I want in stock and they have that serious rodent problem to go with it. Don't waste your time let it rest in peace.

Aside from the huge Walmart and CEFA location to drop off their kids to daycare, I’m not sure why people come to this mall. It’s super empty and everything seems to be closing down which is unfortunate. It’s a nice bright space with ample parking but not a lot of interesting stores. The Walmart is the only thing we go to here.
