Love the porcupine mall, especially now that the people of South porcupine have a grocery store again! I'll always argue that the dollerama in the porcupine mall is the best in all of Timmins. Often worth the drive to get the better stuff! They even recently renovated to include their very own entrance at the front of the mall. The only downfall is to go to from the dollar store to anywhere else you have to leave to outside again. Not the end of the world, but might be an inconvenience to some. The hair salon is a lovely little spot, giant Tiger always has great things, the bank is handy, the washrooms are nice and big at one end of the mall, lots of parking and well kept.

Hardly a mall, has a Metro, Dollarama, Giant Tiger and Scotia bank. All the local businesses that open (which are always some nice variety) eventually close, so sad to see. Only the big chain stores manage to stay. Oh and there is a dentist and hair place.

Ever Since Metro shut down the students have been forced to hike into town for groceries. It's a shame they have such an big empty property just sitting around. It'd sure be nice if they did something with it. Giant tiger tries its best to fill the void but they can only do so much with limited space.

Fantastic small plaza that has everything that you need. And the best part that the bus goes in front of the mall. People in the mall are so amazing and very friendly to chat with. Glad to travel to get to the plaza. It's a small Plaza but with everything under one roof and that makes me glad to go to Porcupine Mall.

DOLLARAMA!!

I visited the Mall this afternoon, July 9, 2019, and used the ladies washroom. This was a very unpleasant experience. Yes it is obvious that there is some kind of renovation or repair in progress but there was no evidence of any repair activity at the moment, nor is there any sign to caution that upon entry we will experience a "construction zone". While I could perhaps forgive the absence of floor tiles, the missing baseboards and the overall "torn apart" space, I could not overlook the unsanitary conditions. Used paper towels were strewn all over the floor even though the garbage can was there, the cubicle door locks were falling off and there was dried feces smeared all over the inside of the toilet bowl. I found the experience to be most disgusting and certainly not acceptable by health standards.

I usually only go into Giant Tiger and the Dollar Store. I like the GT store in South Porcupine because it has more items that I look for, especially clothes. I also prefer the Dollar Store there because they have more craft items than at the other ones.
