(Translated) Here lies a shopping center for officials. There are more than 5,000 public servants working in the Place Portage complex, so shopkeepers have little to do to sell their merchandise. Strongly that the center is renewed like the Rideau Center or the Gatineau galleries! I live nearby and the center is closed on Sundays and barely open on Saturdays. Merchants have no interest in offering services to consumers who work elsewhere. The center is convenient if you walk past (no non-paying parking) and you are in office hours. Il y a plus de 5000 fonctionnaires qui travaillent dans le complexe de la Place Portage, donc les commerçant n'ont que peu à faire pour vendre leur marchandise. Vivement que le centre se renouvelle comme le centre Rideau ou les galeries Gatineau! J'habite tout près et le centre est fermé les dimanches et à peine ouvert le samedi. Les commerçant n'ont aucun intérêt à offrir de services aux consommateurs qui travaillent ailleurs. Le centre est pratique si vous passez devant à pied (pas de stationnement non-payant) et que vous êtes dans les heures de bureau. Sinon, allez ailleurs!
