Cashier was snarky and sassy. She asked if I wanted a bag do I said no, she responded mockingly with "no, ha tell me how you really feel". I told her she had a bad attitude and if she was incapable of doing a simple job as smiling, scanning items, and saying thank you she should consider a job as a janitor or someone who doesn't deal with customers. Absolutely unacceptable

Nice store. Friendly staff. Meat department butcher was a little grouchy, but besides that, a great place to shop.

Produce department is well stocked with fresh veggies and fruits. The store is neat, clean and orderly orderly. The meat department looks great. There is my favorite Chapman's ice cream in the 1 litre size on sale as well as many other great sales. Above all the cashiers and other staff are friendly and helpful.

I am giving the store a one star rating for their Covid19 procedures. I was in there today and there was a lady not wearing a mask. I asked the lady where her mask was, she stated “for medical reasons she didn’t have to wear one” I responded then you have a doctors note for that. She said “No” Nobody from the store asked her for her doctors note as it is painfully obvious that nobody wanted a confrontation with her. The other obvious thing is why wasn’t she wearing a shield if she can’t wear a mask? I am immune compromised and idiots like her and lack of leadership from management make it far more difficult for me to shop here. Also I used to see the carts regularly sanitized but I don’t see that happening either.

If they could maintain the same regular price on products before and after sales that would fall in line with most grocers example: If item A: is $1 before a sale then on sale goes for .65 cents then when sale is over Item A: is now $1.20 that is why. I rated 3 star only The staff & mgmt for the most part are exceptionally polite & helpful service is pretty good here clean store lots of items Sales prices can be really awesome

I fine certain items high in price. But I am just new hear. But I don't love it when you have the sales and I find if you shop at the time that the sales are on . You do not have to go to chilwack.I AM GETTING TO THE AGE where I will want my groceries phoned in. And I am concerned that I won't get things that are on sale, because I am not there to see for myself. Thank you for allowing me to do this scurvy.

Was unable to shop due to lack of any motorized wheelchairs or cart attachments. Very disappointed. Was made to wait while they searched for equipment they hadnt seen in months. Very embarassing. Will never return.

I have been to this Save On many times in the past, but my last experience with my boyfriend was terrible. Long story short, one of the women working behind at the deli counter was very unhelpful in situation which seemed very simple. We were looking to purchase an item she was in the process of making (a sandwich) and made a request to buy it whole, then were dismissed to purchase it as it was, because there weren't any halves on the shelf. It had not been cut and my boyfriend and I found it silly that we should wait just to pay more for two halves. I sent a message to corporate about the incident and never got an apology or at the very least an email back. Prior to this I would have given a much higher rating.

I don't particularly like Save-On because of their membership-card-only pricing schemes. But this is a good place to grab some snacks for a road trip as you pass through town. Public washrooms are hidden at the back of the store and are actually decent.

Thank you to BRYAN and LINDA!!! I always feel relief and a smile when I see these two employees. Why? I get treated badly by people more often than not because I have disabilities, but Bryan is always patient and kind towards me. I had a very bad interaction today with an older cashier lady at Rona and she even made me so angry I cried...she treats me badly because I am cognitively vulnerable due to mental disorder. After, I went to Save On Foods for veggies for my guinea pigs and Bryan was wonderful, patient and he is always kind even though he doesn't say much. After I saw Linda and she made me smile even more. No matter how many a-holes I trip over in a day in Hope, I feel I can always count on Bryan and Linda to treat me like a person instead of a person with disabilities. Thank you - I hope your employer knows how absolutely wonderful you two are ???? The security staff is great too. I have not met a mean guard yet ...all of them have been wonderful to me and I hope they stay on contract long term ????

Unlike some food stores, this location is well laid out for getting in and out, reps and customers adhere to restrictions without drama the times I have been there. Reps are quick to respond to cashier lineups. Congrats to all of you.

April 2, 2021 between 12:00 and 2:00 PM - I just had to write that today was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have had at this store. It is usually "OK" but today every staff member with whom I had contact was exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, the staff member who topped the list was the cashier -name is "Oielpa " - the spelling is outrageous, I know, but there cannot be too many in the store with a name close to his. I wanted to fill out a customer service form but there were none at the front of the store. Even while I was looking for them a clerk offered to get me one, but I needed to leave so I thanked him and said I would come back later. As I said - all were friendly and helpful. Besides the clerks all being friendly, the products were good too. I have not always found the produce particularly fresh but today it definitely was. Also, I need to compliment a person who must be the store manager or the assistant store manager. He helped me in various places in the store and seemed to be working all over the place. Had the plesure of shopping in this Save on. The people are super friendly and helpful. When we travel to Boston bar from Surrey we stop in Hope! We love this little town and hope that one day we we live in Hope !

Miss COOPERS.(now Save On foods). Just not as efficient on quality of fresh vegetables, stocked shelves are not well maintained. Fresh baked foods ok but don't seem to bake enough as by 12 pretty well gone. Seem to not get their stock such as dairy products in time, again shortage of eggs.

it is been a few years since I went there but it was always my stuff to restock when traveling even went as far as staying in marriage I come down to this place but it just was a secret about it and I'm going to tell you. The owner had some kind of contact with European chocolate maker so there was always a nice pile of really good priced Swiss German English chocolates so if you're traveling on the road and you got your kids and you want something decent and good for you as they say in the dark chocolate then I would stop at this place and get you something else.

Rude cashier. Pretending we forgot our groceries. How can you not see it! Your looking right at it! How can a cashier not see what's in front of them. They bag was full. How blind is she. She like "oh is this yours" I wonder how many things she stole. Pretending To give all the item the custome bought and put some in another bag. Pretending you have them all.

Save On is my goto supermarket in town just based on variety alone. However, some staff are great and some are a tad bit zoned out. Bagging seems to be an issue with jamming too many heavy items together. Other than that.. great store

Tried to use up remaining $ on bank card today, but clerk wanted entire 27.?? Tried explaining I have 12.xx left could I plz use that..nope got card back. Embarrassed my gran ... It was just a bad shopping experience. Ended up paying 6.98 for oranges even though with card the oranges were 3.99....it was a bad day to shop.

I Can't Tell you how Disappointed I am in the Hope B.C. Save On !! Since it's switched from being Coopers it in My mind Has gone Down Hill and they Don't have hardly any of there Old Staff the was Wonderful and Efficient !! There New Staff half the time doesn't know how to even pack a grocery bags and when you suggest to them they become unruly !! And More often the Not they don't have what's on Sale in Stock even on the first day of the New Flyer and if you ask Staff half of them don't even know where things are in the Store !! I Like to Shop Local and Support the Store but more often then not I come out of there Frustrated by there Staffs Attitude or there Lack of Products !! I Truly hope they read this and make nessasary changes for improvement as its the Saddest Save On Foods I've been to in this Province !!

Over all just AWFUL. My dad just recently moved to Hope from Langley, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS! TRIPLE the price of what you would spend in Langley. rude staff, not helpful at all. (only an hour drive, bring yourself a cooler & save yourself $150 even after considering gas) even try going to CHILLIWACK (20 minute drive from town) If you want to shop local, try buy low just down the street!
