Not just the Walmart. This area has a lot of stores that will suit your fancy for a lot of things, Pharmacy, adult beverages and relaxation, formal wear, alternative medicine, and so much more. Take the time to look, it will be worth it.

stopped here to go to the walmart, but this plaza has been updated since the last time I was there. New LCBO and other box stores, with lots of parking available. Walmart has been renovated and is quite busy.

This strip mall doesn’t really have much left since it was downsized. Dollar store, Payless and a Tim Hortons....a few other small stores but nothing exciting. Skip it. This used to be a much larger strip mall but they downsized it years ago. There are other stores outside this strip that are ok as well.

Convenient location. Wal-Mart. Dollars. Payless shoes. Reitmans. Shoppers drug mart. Bulk barn and many more stores to choose from. The place is crowded and their has been many car accidents because of the layout of the mall. It's a small very busy area. All the stores are well maintained and stocked with the exception of the Walmart which is so busy that the shelves are almost always empty in the food section

Very much dislike mountain plaza. So here is the deal; Walmart is the key tennant. Usually I think about buying things at a more reasonable price. But management has designed such tight parking spaces that you are litterally leaving your vehicle at risk of damage. So you save a few cents but get scratches and dents on your car. No thanks! Avoid this place as much as possible.

I was at this plaza to shop at the Shoppers Drug Mart. It's an excellent Shoppers Drug Mart, very large with a super selection of just about everything. On the occasion I was there, the cashier was in a great mood which made the shopping experience even better than usual. This plaza also has a very decent LCBO, Walmart, and Moore's Men's clothing store.

Over food and stuff still available. Not very clean as they are moving everything around. Also the buggy's that are supposed to be cleaned are not and the buggy boys are just standing around on their phones. Called to speak to a manager and waited 4 min for someone to pick up the phone.

Usually busy went to Walmart also busy was a little surprised there weren't hand sanitizer stations throughout store seeing how busy this location is . Made it to the electronics section was in and out with my new phone in minutes - service was on point (just the right time because when I left there were 2 people waiting). Typical Walmart trip.

This place is really excellent, compared to the parking lot desert that surrounds it. The small little stores inside have a good mix of personality and cookie-cutterness that make them good for everyone. In particular, eye society, the small belt/leather shop, and the Chinese food place inside are my personal favourites.

The whole plaza as a whole is pretty handy. You can find mostly everything you need between grocery shopping at Walmart to snacks and goodies at bulk Barn. Medication at shoppers drug Mart, restaurants such as Tim Hortons McDonald's and Subway, as well as the suit store Moore's. I believe Walmart has a price match so it makes it a lot easier to go there for all of your shopping needs instead of buying a few things at multiple different stores.

Neither a big, nor a well equipped place. However, it's atmosphere is peaceful and has an air of community to it. If it's got what you want, is certainly more pleasant than most 'malls' and is ready to access quickly parking as well. In short, it's an small indoor strip mall with a nice coffee shop atmosphere.

A step back in time. I like retro, but not sad retro! Make sure you actually need a store in there or else you will be wasting your time and may leave the place feeling a little down and depressed. The rest of the outside stores are alright. Dress warm in the winter if you have the outdoor stores to bounce around to.

I can't say I'm a fan of the way all the former indoor shopping malls have become disconnected stores with mazes of parking lots in between. I'm not a huge Walmart shopper and I suppose that's the main attraction here. It's actually not that great as far as Walmarts go anyway, less selection than the bigger stores and typically a bit of a wait in line. I do enjoy their $5 cakes though, and it's nice to be able to use a washroom somewhere too given that most take-out place have theirs closed which sucks when you're out shopping for the day. There's also a Shopper's Drug Mart, Bulk Barn, LCBO and the usual mix of stores you find at every couple of intersections up on the mountain. Not much unique to make me want to go there, but convenient if you live up that way I suppose.

Or maybe if they go to back room don’t come back to us to give any update on product inquiry. If they will come out From back room literally ignore you. I love this place. Wal-Mart...well..what can I say that the world doesn't already know...and there is a bulk store, a dollar store, shoppers drug mart. If Wal-Mart doesn't have it, (hardly) they will! This Wal-Mart has great staff, great service, and an excellent response team for lost children, and medical emergencies.ps...there is a liquor and beer store.

I love coming here for dollarama, other shops include Payless ; Ardene, And TIM Hortons. The location is easily accessible from Upper James street, The two Morton’s inside is usually busy but the staff are really professional and can handle huge lineups amidst the stress.

Not a fan. It was much better when it was a proper mall. It is too much of a pain to walk from store to store, from Walmart to that belt store. Stores got more business, there were more stores in general, you could always find what you wanted, and it was laid out like a small mall to store to store shopping was easy. Not a fan of this plaza and never will be. Also the parking lot is designed poorly (in the Walmart section) and it is a pain to drive in.

I guess I'm old school. I am old enough to remember the enclosed Mountain Plaza Mall and also the outdoor version of the 70's of that same plaza. But both of those versions far surpass the current layout. This plaza is like so many other ones that are popping up. They are made for people in a vehicle. If you are a pedestrian or in a mobility scooter there is not really a safe route into any of the stores without having to contend with the vehicular traffic. Some of which drive like they are still on the street. Mountain Plaza had character with all of its smaller stores and relationships with store staff and customers were forged and a bond of trust was built. It was a plaza or mall to meet up with friends or family or to make new friends It was a place that people looked forward to going to on a regular basis AND it offered affordable shopping unlike a larger unnamed mall not too far away. Planners for these box store properties have essentially taken away the personal touch of a community mall. In this day and age communities lack that sense of closeness.

This is a pretty nice mall. I miss the old interior, but these days it's very convenient having Walmart/Shoppers/CIBC/LCBO all in the same plaza. They are pretty spread out and the parking lot is a bit of a mess, but this place is still pretty convenient, so I come here often.

It has a variety of stores some of the staples like Walmart, LCBO Tim Hortons and the likes. The parking lot is large so finding a spot is fairly simple. The only drawback here is that you MUST remember to lock your vehicle. The lot always has lots of people walk through. I've forgotten 3x and 3x i have had my car rummaged through. I stop here on my way home at least every other week. Stores are all clean and nice.

Mall parking lot is normally clean and free of snow. Traffic by Walmart is a nightmare. People parking their SUVs and beamers with 4 ways on in front of the store all the time! Reccomend regular tow truck service. To move these "abandoned " vehicles. Safety of customers walking between them is a concern.

DO NOT PARK IN THIS PLAZA AND WALK TO MOHAWK COLLEGE! You will be towed or ticketed. Great shopping plaza. I miss the old Mountain Plaza Mall but this will suffice. It offers plenty of shopping options. Beer and liquor store available within walking distance. Wal-Mart open later that usual. Good for the college crowd.

Walmart is following the State of Emergency orders. At the check out the cashier sanitized the conveyor belt where items to purchase are placed, the debit machine too. Kudos. This does not apply to just this Walmart ALL STORES should have markings on the sidewalk outside to make it clear how far 6 feet actually is. Perhaps the government has not made it clear that this has to be done.

Walmart on Fennel and Upper James in Hamilton Ontario is disgusting. Poor selection of merchandise, factory floors, dirty, and while I was there a robbery happened. Alarms went off. Robbers exited through side doors. AND..Christmas merchandise was extremely poorly stocked. Waste of time going there.

Ok selection of store but parking spots are small and any parking close to mall is always taken by mall employees, people working in other locations close to the mall or going to school. Why would anyone want to shop here when they don’t provide covienient parking for paying customers? Most people who work in the mall are nice but obviously they care nothing about overall customer experience otherwise they would realize many of their customers are elderly and should be the ones parking close to the stores not employees. Most places provide employee parking. As for people shopping elsewhere or going to school they should be fined or towed.

It's changed so much and looks like most everything else now. Takes a bit to walk around and get anywhere and the traffic wow, but hey progress. Can't walk inside malls any more they don't make them that way anymore. So if you find shops you see sizes too small or find decent regular sizes and or a higher pricing. The way things go with change I guess.

I liked the old mall better, now it doesn't really have anything of importance, except the couple specialty stores

I like that there are so many different stores to come to in this plaza. Theres walmart, dollars a, shoppers, bulk barn, clothing stores, a tim hortons and more. I would've given 5 stars if the parking lot's entrances for walkers wasn't so poorly designed. I walk with my daughter in her stroller and I couldn't even count how many times there has been near accidents with a car hitting us because the only entrances for walkers to get in, are with HUGE blindspots for the cars trying to enter. On the first one, there is a huge fence there, so any car trying to pull in, would not see that there is a mother with a stroller trying to walk out. And the second place "for walkers" is right by Shoppers at the lights. There is a crosswalk for walkers to get to the other side, but it is about 15-20 ft from where the cars are turning into the parking lot. And it is a blind spot for any cars until they are already there as theres a bank covering the visual of the driver for the cross walk. So if any cars are turning into the parking lot here, even at 20km, it is very likely that they would hit someone trying to cross there. Super dangerous.
