This shopping centre is virtually empty. It is in dire need of an update and some new stores and eating establishments. There are a lot of empty store fronts. The Walmart here is convenient to have but there are a lot of empty shelves. The only shop that really draws me to this shopping centre is the IGA as they have very nice produce and Air miles promotions.

It's almost empty ..... not what you're looking for in an email. Those who are loyal, to have stayed even during the pandemic have just had an ultimatum of just one month to sign a contract or leave. They are told that they have to get rid of their cash registers and take Brigil's, and share their store with another merchant in the mall even if they sell completely different merchandise. Another example of the big rich who CRUSHES the small merchants. Thank you. (Original) Je ne peux donner une note plus haute. Depuis 2 ans, Brigil a pris possession des lieux. C'est triste de voir tous les commerçants qui étaient là depuis très longtemps qui sont partis. C'est presque vide.....pas ce que tu recherches dans un mail. Ceux qui sont fidèles, d'avoir resté même pendant la pandémie viennent d'avoir un ultimatum d'un mois seulement pour signer un contrat ou déguerpir. On leur mentionne qu'ils doivent se départir de leurs caisses enregistreuses et prendre celle de Brigil, et de partager leur magasin avec un autre marchand du mail même s'ils vendent de la marchandise complètement différente. Un autre exemple du gros riche qui ÉCRASE les petits marchands. Merci à vous.

I don't recommend going unless absolutely necessary. Terrible parking full of abandonned Walmart shopping carts and potholes. No bike rack or safe place to lock bike, and not very pedestrian friendly. The IGA there is one of the worst ones I've seen. The building itself is in ruins.

Contains local shops such as Walmart and IGA with many fast food takeout options. Most importantly for our trip was the SDO Office, one of only 4 available. This is where we purchased our bus ticket . For tourists you can purchase a day ticket or 3 day tickets, it makes the transport a cheaper option when you are constantly hoping on and off buses.

I have fond memories of this mall. At one point it was a vibrant hub of the community and featured many unique independent stores. In recent years it has fallen on extremely hard times and was all but abandoned before being purchased by a developer looking to rejuvenate it and further develop the property. The potential is still there and it’s certainly a bustling location. The Walmart is smaller than most but the grocery department is great. The few stores still in the mall deserve our business and hopefully more will join them.
