Pretty conviently located close to a Petro Station, you can see a TD Canada Trust bank there, a Wallmart, a SuperC, a SAQ and a drug store. I think they could do a better job at removing the snow from the parking lot, but apart from that, you can find many items you might be looking for all in the same spot.

Typical smartcentre design, may work well in Southern climates, but a poor choice for Canadian winter...not to mention being an inefficient/wasteful use of land as well. Buildings are scattered around the land area, well outside walking distance from other clusters, and even the ring road around the area is obstructed in several places. making getting in and out frustrating. Nothing really "smart" about Smartcentres. Typical visit...Park in the giant lot, walk through the snow/slush/rain/whatever to the 1st shop, then if you want to go to a second, it is usually faster to go back to the car and drive again than to walk to the next place.

There are a ton of great stores here. You have Walmart and 3 other stores for food, Rona for any house improvements you might be doing, SAQ for your booze needs and many more stores too. I've been to a lot of stores and I'll say it frankly: my French sucks. I can kind of say the greetings and the method I'll be paying with and stuff, but everyone here speaks English too and they've never treated me any worse for not being able to finish my order completely in French. They're also very accommodating to any questions I or my husband might have. As for the parking situation, well, it's decent. Overall I would recommend this shopping centre, it can pretty much fill all your needs in one go.

SmartCentres Hull, also locally known as Plateau shopping mall is extremely convenient to the eastern part of Hull, as well as the Aylmer and Hollow Glen area of Chelsea, Quebec. The mall and its surroundings includes a great Provigo store (previously Loblaws), a Walmart (where you can also park your RV camper), Rona (hardware), Canadian Tire (hardware, outdoor, electronics, household items), Jean Coutu Pharmacy, an excellent movie theater, The Source (electronics), SAQ (beer, wine, spirits) two dollar stores (in different areas), a good number of boutique stores, Staples (office supplies and electronics), Scotia Bank (with Tangerine bank machines), TD Bank, gas station with car wash, shawarma and pizza place, convenience stores, Tim Hortons, Super C supermarket, Bulk Barn, l'Equipeur (Mark's Work Warehouse chain) which is a great store for high en camping clothes and work clothes, and the mall also includes a men's suit store. I am forgetting the names of a bunch of places, as well. Great shopping experience!
