Here you will be able to see the information of people like you who purchased the services and products of Galeries Aylmer (Mall) in Gatineau area (Canada).
Now the business has a rating of 3.8 over 5 and that score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is really positive, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall corresponds to the category of Shopping mall.
The mall is easy to get around, not.many stores to choose from but has enough to be a one stop shop for everything etc. Banking, groceries, hair cuts, and clothing also has a restaurant and hardware store.
Nice and quiet mall. Few good store.
It's OK. A few good stores like Multizone. However the operating hours of the mall sucks. And closing the public washrooms 30 minutes before closing time because the janitor is too lazy to wash them at closing time is just idiotic.
Meh.
Lots of free parking have made many renovation worth a visit
Nice half of the mall! It is getting better but this place needs a major renovation spree to get everything to look similar because on one side there is a brand new mall and then the other half is extremely outdated.
This mall has been around since I can remember. Its is a very nice place, not too crowded. The one thing that can be a little frustrating is the stores that come and go. If they add a shop that we like, It leaves or gets moved around not long after. All in all, This place has a few varieties of shops, both new and old.
Since the big changes I find it has way more to offer now. Great place to find gifts and the bonus is we are shopping local <3
Good you have a choice in new stores to go to
Like a ghost ???? town! Very un Christmas!
Renovation and adding more stores makes the Galeries d’Aylmer more inviting to go shopping in your own town. You’re looking for a gift, something for the house, clothing or shoes, you can find it at this cute little mall.
Just your friendly neighborhood mall - small and currently in the middle of a major construction project that will result in it being connected to a high-rise condo building. Nothing here is worth coming long-distance for - but if you're an Aylmer local, you probably wind up here regularly for one reason or another.
Some good stores here in a mall that's in the process of re-inventing itself
This is an old mall... it has seen better days but it seems to be coming back with new stores and/or better versions of the ones it had. Definitely convenient if you live in Aylmer
Clean, well lit. Still not much in terms of shopping. Although, I must say the people that work in the shops are helpful and friendly.
The new market super c and the new stores are improving the mall. But it needs a food court.
It’s been hit or miss over the years with Galeries Aylmer but it’s also been a convenient shopping centre for people that live in the area. It’s undergone some renovations and changes lately and hopefully it will improve traffic in the long run. ????☺️
Got my haircut at Luxeman. Irina does a great job!
Nice mall to shop! Wish so many teens wouldn't just linger around and listen to loud music and act like monkey's
Boring ..need better stores
Needs more variety of stores
Wish it had more stores catered to younger crowd
Great place, grest customer service in general
I have been going to this mall since I was a little girl and unfortunately most of the mall still looks like it is stuck in the early nineties. It has no food court but at least it has a St-Hubert attached to it and a small café style restaurant in it. The store selection has gotten better lately but it's still missing something. Hopefully, this will come faster with the significant growth of the population of Aylmer, QC.
The Mall itself: Love the expansion and modernization of the infrastructure, but the shop selection can be improved to match the evolution (clothes and shoe selection for adults, tech shops, etc). Its improving overtime. Favorite shops: Super-C, TD, pharmacy and dollar store are my most visited shops. They also have a nice bar with pool tables, named "Putters".
Getting better post renovations and a few more interesting stores.
It’s ok if you want just walk in circles it’s so peaceful
Wow I was very surprised at how many boutiques they had . I will be returning for sure . Very impressed
Very friendly and clean, good price lots of specials all the time. could use more cashiers at time but they generally open ups more when very busy which is pretty much all the time.
As Aylmer is growing in population, I wish this mall would upgrade and incorporate newer stores. Instead, I always have to go to the Plateau area for nicer stores
The stores there are not really interesting
Might as well go to Les galleries de hull or Rideau. This ain't worth it.
It has a bit of everything but missing a lot too. Still is very nice to ave diversity inside a single building.
Has adequate stores. It's expanding and it's getting to what my vision of mall that'll stop people from shopping in Ottawa more often. Keep up with the great work, there's still some work to do. I'll give an example of a very small food court.
Jean Coutu/Post Office, Dollar store, Super C, TD Canada Trust, Home Hardware, besides that I am off to Walmart where I can get all of my shopping Done.
Went to a show. No waiting in line, theaters are clean n great sound. Small to large theaters. Comfortable seats.
Nice mall where you can find essentials for your stay in aylmer Gatineau.
A tiny mall. It has a really nice independently owned gym (Evolution Fitness I think), a Home and Hardware and a bunch of smaller stores. The highlight for me there is the Urban Planet which is HUGE and always offers low prices. A very basic, tiny mall. It does however have a 4 room movie theater and billiards attached, which are always fun.
I always find this place a little... Depressed. I think that the space could have been use so much better, it feels empty and lonely when you walk around the mall. Sadly was the same before and after Covid if that helps you imagine?
Good little local mall. Has a pharmacy and a bank, hardware store, and lots more. Glad to have the mall close by!
I hardly go there cause I'm a big mall kinda girl!
Went to the SAAQ, lots of parking available. Decent little indoor mall.
Close to home and has necessaties usually needed groceries, pharmacy, Home Hardware, Dollarama, Chocolat Favoris
Nice lil shoping mall
Pretty small..no food court..I hope it renounces from pandemic.. Investment is needed. Stores almost empty
Haha you know what? FIVE STARS. Went on a cute little date with my girlfriend and her momz here. I had fun ☺️☺️
I hate the Aylmer mal. Limited shops, full of old people croaking left and right. It needs a breath of fresh young life. If only they'd stop making it an old people's shipping home it has great potential. Now they've gone and started to build an old people's home right attached to it. Beware if you're a business owner, avoid this place like the plague, unless you sell hard candies, dentures toothpaste or caskets.
Good mall
They're really working hard to refresh them all after losing Canadian Tire and Zellers. It looks pretty good and it's got lots of stores.
Kind of a dirt mall. However, the Aylmer Cinema is a gem, and my 18 month old loves the pet shop. It works in a bind, but definitely could be better.
Love it every5hibg i need in one place
The place feels old and lacks diversity. There's no proper food court and only a single "coffee" place. The mall really needs a new life.
Groceries, booze and a place to handle your Québec driver's license.
Hard review to do since I work in there but imma give it an honest one. It's nice little mall, clean enjoyable and it gives you a "small town" feel there but there some cons. There's a decent lack of good clothing/shoes store which could be a big downer for a younger crowd but they do have a little theater, a driving school and little stores where you can get the essentials. Just wish they had stores I can just go to and look at stuff. I'm like that haha.
its a mediocre mall that ive always lived near so its nice to just go to and buy random stuff but its always under renovation
Not enough business or restaurant a with good food with the new condo going up and more business for one stop shopping with great a vaste of Others thing most places closed and Aylmer need category of business and not only Pizza every second corner st. Come on we need mayor to bit presume on politician to invest one of the biggest growing cities of Gatineau
Nice place
Better since the expansion but closes early and the cinema is small. Definitely better than before, but it could still improve and have some more places to eat.
Great place for quick and easy shopping. The Source and Jean Coutu always have pleasant and helpful staff.
It was better in the past but it still has some really reliable shops.
All kind of stores in the mall, nice and clean, I like shopping there
Grew up here. Mall extensively renovated from what I remember. Nice, clean and modern now. Seems like good selection of stores. Parking is a bit limited for the size of the mall. Not enough access points to parking lot from main streets surrounding mall.
I have been there only for the S.A.A.Q. which was great cause the service is really fast. But it is cash only. There is an ATM is you need one about 250 meters from the store.
This mall contains a Jean Coutu pharmacy which is open later than the rest of the stores. The mall locks most of the doors to the pharmacy in the evening, including the wheelchair doors. Twice I got stuck in the one only manual door trying to get through with my wheelchair, one time getting injured in the process. Besides the legality issues of disabling the handicap access to the pharmacy, it's also an issue with covid since we all have to squeeze through the one available manual door. It's inexcusable and ought to be reported to the provincial government.
Store selection isnt the greatest
Not so clean and old looking
Nice little mall whit a couple of stores. Never crowded and very quiet.
Its ok , not bad ... theres like 3-4 clothes store that are boring ... for old ppl talkin about le grenier and stuff like that i never see enybody in tjose stores :(
A local mall good in a pinch and improving with time. An average selection of stores and services.
This is the old stomping grounds! Had my first date here at the movie theaters. RIP Good times at the billiards place with the heritage computer science crew. I've been to St Hubert to many times. Now chocolate favorite!?!?
I miss this mall, I think I will visit it. I live in Ottawa. This mall is where people gathered before going to parties. Bush parties, house parties and park parties. Beach parties and getting wasted. The fun I had was amazing. Aylmer had the cutest girls.
The selection of stores is getting better and there is now a greater selection available for the teen / young adult age group
The only shopping "Mall" in the Aylmer sector. But it's still quite a decent one at that, I've been going the since I was 7 with my parents and I'm in my 20ths right now. So they must be doing something right. (Besides being the only one, as I said, lol)
It's a quiet place and very nice for walking
It's OK small shopping center
There are a lot of things to buy, like books, clothes, shoes. One post of SAAQ and the École de conduite Lauzon.
The little woman at the merchandise booth offering paper printing services wanted $3 per black and white copy. Three dollars. After telling her "Thats crazy", she retorted with "It's not crazy, its three dollars." Funny. Until you realize she's serious.
This is a nice small cinema. Not to fancy but provide good service and courteous staff.
Great walking area for this cold season
Their hand sanitizer smells like expired gasoline and now the mall itself smells toxic.
Not a bad little mall. You can find lots if you dig through the various stores. However the parking is so bad as to be a joke. Only one exit. Actually another one behind the Super C but tricky to use. Most of the parking seems to be reserved for the liquor store or st hubert or used by the construction people working on the adjoining condos or maybe people taking the bus. There is parking in the back. Use it. The light sequence on the main street is a joke. The people who designed it should have to drive through each day. Then it would be fixed.
This use to be a extremely quiet mall, but it growing fast and it will become very popular in a short time.
It's great, it's close to home, has many shops such as Ardene, Stitches, Dollarama and more. Fun to go to with my friends to go shopping and has bike racks nearby the entrances although theres a couple that I don't trust on the Super C side of the mall since I have seen a bike or two completely ripped apart all the way to just the rim, it was ugly but, I'm just gonna have to keep a close eye on my bike when I park it there, other than that it's a fun time.
It's a decent mall — it is small, but contains the necessary shops for essential needs.
Local mall. Decent selection of stores. Lots of recent renovations.
Lotsa parking for everybody , great stores to shop at for all your everyday needs ( yes we still miss Zellers though lol ) I really enjoy going there all the time !! & I Hope U do too !! Thank U for your time & have a great day !! ????
Incredibly renovated. Inviting. New stores in place. I recommend the Galeries Aylmer.
Hometown mall right here. Everything you need. Kids toys, haircuts, nails done and new clothes
Just an overall wonderful experience and there are a bunch of great stores inside
It's a small mall but has a few good stores. Mix of teen specific stores and several adult clothing stores (more for 35+ crowd). The cinema is cheaper than elsewhere.
Went for groceries, convenient bus routes, found almost everything we were looking for, had to wait a little while for the bus but convenient for every day shopping
Awesome for something quick.. Super c post office.. Pharmacy.. Clothes etc
Found what I wanted..nice little gem of a shopping centre
Adequate parking ...variety of selections
Much improved after their recent remodel. The stores are clean and the mall is mostly full of stores of a wide variety. Once complete, the adjoining retirement residence may change some of the establishments but a fun place to shop.
Its a bit dead for a mall but its not horrible but again they is to much teens who are causing trouble who hang out their
Absolutely Poppin full of young people
Everything is closing slowly because of covid. Hope some of it will survive and help local worker.
Wonderful place to work at. Clean place. Friendly atmosphère between shop keepers.
Gallerie of Despair!
This Mall has undergone several changes over the past few years. It's a mix from one high women's clothing store to a few discount ones, including a Dollar Store. Critical are SAQ and the TD bank. Lots of parking. Attached to a grocery store. I can usually get a majority of what I'm generally looking for.
Beautiful TD Bank Now I see where the bank puts all your reduced credit limits to.
Awesome little mall. Love the food court set up and the nice selection of shops
Small shopping center with nothing. Not suitable for young people, but for older people yes....
I got all and everything in this calm and clean environment of galleries aylmer, hoping for cinema back
Good gallery have everything it it clean always and good people good environment
They should have more store with reasonable prices for everyone to shop in
This is a nice mall. Well maintained and clean
Amazing mall. you can find all that you need. good vibes and pleasent atmosphere.
Great mall in Aylmer
good place to shop
Perfect size for a quick visit to pick up groceries and visit the dollar store. If you have teenage girls, there are some perfect clothing Storrs for them
Pretty basic mall, nothing worth bragging about. Most stores offer terrible service.
We love the new zigazoom play area for the kids. This mall is small but you get all you need.
Good variety for a small mall. Super C, St. Hubert, Jean Coutu and Aylmer Cinema are some of the options in the mall.
Needed my plates for car. Had a government office there. No lineup which was nice. Friendly service.
Since the renovations, they have a lot to offer from grocery store to pool hall you have it covered here
Really peaceful and calm. Not too much people. I would have liked to see some greenery, trees, plants or anything (outside mostly but inside too). But it is only a sea of concrete. On the summer it gets really hot outside too. Even though they made some renovations, which are nice, all I can see is grey and concrete.
Poorly coordinated administration. Horrible parking. Construction is not up to code. Ongoing construction contractor is negligent about work site safety as it relates to the general public. This is the worst this mall has been in years. None of your efforts will be worth your investment if you drive away your foot traffic and high end shoppers. The way we do this is by presenting a nice location where families and individuals can relax. In addition the Mall hours are less than desirable but this mostly has to do with Quebec law... However, at least operate maxmimized hours.... You wonder why people shop in Ottawa? With traffic from 5-6 people aren't often shopping until 7 or 8 but the mall is hardly ever open.
It’s great that someone reopened food service in the mall
I just went in cause my friend had a coat zipper fixed here. I also went to the pet shop, only one person serving but didn't wait long.
Good selection of boutiques. Friendly service. Clean environment.
It's nice to go there
Nothing in this mall is truthfully a indoor strip mall no food court over priced stores and a cringy movie theater just go to plateau this place blows
Budget-friendly. Complete variety. It has home hardware, banks, large grocery stores, pet store, essential offices, coffee shops, pharmacy, restaurants, dessert shops, fastfood chains, etc.
gr8 place for shopping. Good prices.
Need to lower prices by at least 40 percent.
Good movie theater, some useful stores and services.
I'm stuck for an answer here. Maybe this has the Super C in it but not sure.
There's a gym, places to eat, do groceries, buy clothes. The companies themselves are on the low end side, there's no real good place to purchase quality shoes - that will last. It's a great mall for a small town, but given that Aylmer is growing, I think it would be a good move to level up the retailers a little bit.
Most beautiful mall in Aylmer, if you do not visit this mall then you must come to this mall.
I just wish there was more in this mall. I grew up here, it used to be good. I feel like so many have left. We need to bring back Aylmer
Amazing place to shop
First time back in 20 years. Looking good.
For it's size, not a bad place. Has a pharmacy, grocery, electronics, hardware, pet store along with clothing stores. Could use a more varied food court though as there is not much of a choice.
Mall has been redone! Not alot of foot traffic, always seems on the quiet side. Definitely clean though. It would be nice to see a better selection of stores.
Nice place to go for anything clothing or food related!
Maybe the people should wear masks and have more sanitizers at hand. It is to keep us clients safe and also to keep others safe too.???? so we can keep our economy going safely. Meegwetch in Algonquin Thank you, Merci
Recently renovated shopping centre. Nice clean bathrooms. many products and government services offered here. Place for kids to play=awesome if your kids need to burn off some steam. The type of strip mall you would find in any small town. Many services are available in French and English. Pharmacy, coffee, salon, Grocery store, dollar store, accessories, hardware store, shoe stores, bank machines.
