tried to make a simple purchase from a store in London on Wonderland road south. They told me 2 weeks ago the product would be in right away.... I had to call them yesterday, they told me that one employee was on holidays so it was not yet done. I was told I would be contacted the next day (today) with more info. NO CALL. I just called again to find out the product is still at the Simcoe location. I then called Simcoe and Debbie one of the managers gave me the service I was looking for... Thank you!!! Debbie has just informed me that my shipment will be available at a different store location here in London on Thursday!

A week or so ago my father purchased something for me. I used his visa and set it up so my husband could pick it up. The employee or employees were really argumentative with my husband they basically saw the credit card holders name and started being argumentative with him telling him he couldn’t pick it up because it wasn’t in his name. But I had specifically specified online who would be picking it up and my husband even got an email in HIS name telling him to pick it up. From now on I will just shop online. Not worth the headache

I called the service desk and I needed a snowboard waxed and polished before the store closed for use the next day. Staff couldn't say for sure but they said they would try there best to get it done in time. On my way out the door my roommate asked me to get his done. I came in with two boards to be done and they had them good to go in two hours. Their service desk did a really good job of them as well.

I am usually happy with my shopping experience at sport Chek/Atmosphere but this time it was a different story. We went looking for a winter coat for my wife and that section of the store was very messy and seemed unorganized. The did have alot of jackets, almost to many. It was like they had twice as many as they should cramped onto ever rack. And they were in not order. If was hard to lol through them, you could barely get a jacket off the rack they were so jammed on. And you could barely walk around the section as they had extra racks out.

After an exhausting day it was so nice to visit this store. I was just looking for a replacement running shoe and thought I'd take a moment to see what they had. Justin went above and beyond to make sure the fit was comfortable, even hot fitting the boot. Several associates came by while the boots were being set to make sure I was taken care of. The staff member who made it her point to be my helper didn't really help. Though I genuinely wanted to buy three or four specific things, and it was not busy, I was abandoned for 20 min with my questions unanswered, so I was on my way out the door. Then someone else came along and finally assisted me for a long time. She brought sizes, looked in the back for me and I tried things on and made decisions. Then after that sincere effort, the unhelpful clerk made a comeback to apparently scoop the sale! The whole thing was uncomfortable and objectifying. I wanted to buy one more item which I mentioned to the unhelpful clerk, who responded by sending me wandering around — by myself, in a general direction — and they didn't even have it! I really want to support young people trying to make a living, but the idea of the commission from my purchase going to someone who is just roaming the store scooping sales while someone else does her work for her just made me cringe. I left without buying anything, I'm writing this review and I'm going straight to the other sports store.

Good store with lots of selection, and easy-to-understand layout. Not hard at all to find what you're looking for. My only complaint with this store is that the prices are way too high in my opinion. I've gone in here many times hoping to find a good deal on something I like, and I literally have never found a deal. Maybe things go on sale sometimes and I'm never there when that happens? I'm not sure. But with other stores I always see at least some things on sale. So yeah, this Sportchek is a very good, clean, organized store with helpful staff but there needs to be some more sales!

It's a good thing the store is so big and has great selection, because the customer service is left to be desired. I don't know what those high-tech ear pieces they wear do for them, sure doesn't do much for customer service. Pretty sad when you come in wanting to give them your money but they won't even acknowledge you existence. But even when they do, customer service...lame. Everytime I visit there is a group of three or four female staff who you can never find and when you do find them they're chit chatting to each other.Today I found them all in a group socializing in the changing rooms and heard one say how glad she was that she was done soon and I had to ask them for help. Jesus christ I know theres 20 minutes until closing but make yourselves usefull. The bottom line is when you see a customer coming towards you looking lost make eye contact and ask if they need anything. If you were my staff I'd fire you.

My husband loves buying athleisure clothing from Sports Chek. Sport Chek is possibly one of the best stores to buy such clothes from! They have a great collection of runners, caps and ofcourse athleisures! Personally, I love the hoodies and jackets they carry! They even helped when we were being indecisive on the item we wanted. (It was in stock, there were just different flavours). Once we made our decision, the checkout process what quick and easy. There are only 2 cash registers so lines can form but they do try to get to you as soon as possible.

The store associates are full of stereotypes. I went to the store to buy special kind of gloves. I asked one of the associates if they happened to have that special gloves. The associate was explaining to me, but suddenly, a female associate interjected the conversation and said that the store does not have such gloves. Even if they have, they are very costly. For some seconds, I was shocked. I mean, I am the one to decide whether they are expensive or not for me. But the store associate judged me: I do not know on what basis. Both the store associates went away without helping me. I checked the price, and the gloves that I was looking for that the female store associate said were costly were just $30. Management of the sports check you should please look into this. Well, I will shop in other stores and never sports check, and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

The discount racks offer some alright deals, but are picked over often and most popular sizes are cleared out fairly regularly. Worth the visit if you're looking for shoes! They have decent customer service in the store but ordering online is horrible. I bought some boots online that first were delivered to their store instead of my home. Then when I got them they didn't fit so I needed to exchange for a size up they said I had to go back to the store and return them and reorder from the store. They refused to just order in my replacement for an exchange to save me multiple trips to the store. This is the worst online service I have seen ever. I am returning the boots and buying my footwear elsewhere from now on.

I went to the Simcoe location to purchase back to school shoes and clothing for my Son. While there I seen that they had a promotion on. If purchasing $125 worth of merchandise you receive a $25 gift card. Well I spent enough and received my card also points on my newly required triangle rewards card a total of almost $12 had accumulated. While in the store my Son spotted a basketball. I thought I'd purchase it with gift card and points at a later date to surprise him, as his bday was soon. Well upon returning home he was showing me his shoes again and I noticed that one of the heels had a defect. So, I found the receipt and noticed that they had actually charged me for the gift card!! I returned the following week to replace the shoes and inquire about charge for the gift card. While in line I noticed that even though there were 2 cashiers only 1 terminal was being used as the 2 of them chatted. Another employee came upto the front and looking frustrated he cleared the area and opened the terminal. I told him that I was there to return the shoes as I noticed the heel was pushed in. He promptly responded that he didn't think they had anymore in the same size. To my relief they did. He said that they'd just exchange them. Then he opened the box of the returned shoes and said that there was nothing wrong with the shoes and popped the heel back out. I tried to say if I had known it was that easy, I wouldn't have...when I was rudely interrupted by him before I could finish my sentence. Not the first time or the last time in my conversation with him. His attitude was frustrating to say the least. Even the other employees noticed. So then I proceeded to tell him that I was charged for the gift card. He responded that it happens during all the chaos..okay? So because of this error he had to redo all my purchases that day and reimburse my credit card and then charge me the correct amount. Upon doing this he also asked me for my triangle rewards card to take the points back and would put them back on after the repurchase. After all that, I decided to purchase the basketball. I returned to the checkout line and tried to pay with my gift card. I had the other cashier this time. I gave her the gift card and she said there's no balance on It! I said you just gave me it 10 min ago?? After sorting it out with the manager (who was present during my earlier return as well) I was able to finally use the card and tried to use my triangle rewards card to which I was told it only had $1.40 on It?? There was over $12 on it earlier..I realized that they didn't return my points to the card now!! I told them this and their response was really??? Like they didn't know what I was talking about!! I promptly grabbed my purchases and finally left the store not wanting to deal with the terrible customer service anymore. I then thought I'd better check my credit card account to see if indeed I was reimbursed from the first purchase. It showed no refund only charges from the store!! I called the store and actually spoke to the man that did my return. He repeated asked me what I was talking about?? I was in line at my bank at the time and others heard my conversation to which one lady said to me that she heard me explain to him 3x's what my issue was. I said "I know ridiculous!"..The guy on the phone said angrily.."What did you just say?" After a few minutes of telling him how terrible their customer service was. He responded sorry you feel that way and I needed to contact my credit card company to see why I didn't get a refund!! Really!!??? He then replied sarcastically "Have a nice day!" Unbelievable!! Terrible Customer Service!!

So in general I like this store. But today I happened to be passing through and saw a great sale on a pair of runners. I had not planned to shop for shoes today but thought awesome I'll try them on. Its summer and I was wearing flip flops but I wanted to try the shoes on. I asked if the had a pair of those disposable sanitary socks and I was told they had a sock drawer under the chair. These socks were so nasty! Like actual dirty sport socks. I don't mind the communal sock drawer thing if they were clean but these socks were not even close! Just eww. It really put me off purchasing anything. The employee was pretty nonchalant about it to.

Went there to buy a pair of sneakers. The guy who was on the floor helped me a lot to find what I was looking for (5/5). But the cashier was very rude. I told her that the price was different than the scanned price but she told me that I'm wrong and that I have to pay the scanned price. She ended up calling one of other associates who told her that I was right after wasting my time and energy. Please cashier, don't take it personally. Don't say that a customer is wrong without verifying. It's rude and unacceptable. (1/5) Overall : 3/5

Good customer service and fairly decent selection but if your a size 13 or bigger can't find much of anything. And no more zipper hoodies? They way better than pullovers. Wasted trip and 2 hour drive for me. Take my chances online I guess.

My husband and I had gone to look for new shoes and we are not the type that enjoys trying on new shoes. The first time we went and looked my husband found a pair he liked and bought them but I didn't. Also the employee that day could care less and looked like he just wanted to go home. The next day we went back with out 7, and 4 year old. Conner and Max were AWESOME! They knew we had a budget and they stuck to it. They helped us with the kids shoes, helped my husband find another pair and noticed I didn't find anything for myself. Conner not only remember my size shoe from the day prior but also my style and that I have custom insoles that need to fit In the shoes. He picked out a 7.5 wide for me that was perfect! It was the only pair I tried on that day and loved it! If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have bought anything for myself.

Hmmm where do I start they don't have my size and she told me these where good shoes won't sweat at all. I have worn for 5.25 hrs and they keep heat in and your feet stink. She's gets better commission I guess.. Well I'm sending a letter to the president I will see what he has to say about service etc. I phoned to explained my problem she did not care and they won't return them so I've spent thousands at sport check never retuning anything how dare these people......... Larry was helping us fit ski boots today. He is awesome, goes the extra mile and then some to make sure you get the right boots. I didn't know there was so much to know about a proper boot fitting let alone all the tricks to using and looking after your ski boots after you get them. Great customer service from an expert!

Store manager, Richard is unbelievably rude, condescending and sarcastic. He spoke down to one of the cashiers IN FRONT OF ME as well as in front of everyone in line. He has no people skills and it shows. Poor girl was on the verge of crying. Very unprofessional, my family and I will never be back to this god awful store. We’ll be traveling to Victoria the next time we need anything from sport check.

Great store but they never have any smaller sizes. I'm always disappointed when I need a size lower which "it does come in, but we don't have". I've been shopping or trying to shop at Sport Chek since it was in the North Bay Mall. The only thing I've purchased to fit is a loose hoodie, and a pair of shoes which I had to order online. Maybe I should eat a burger.

I eventually found an item that was clearance. The discount yellow tag “mysteriously “ vanished between the time I found it and when it was at the till. When I asked the assistant manager about it he said it never had one and he had all day to discuss the confusion. IM NOT CONFUSED. I purchased it out of embarrassment, then later returned the item. That was probably the WORST experience ever. I can’t believe how slimy they really are there. TRUE COLORS.

So my wife and I were walking around and my wife said she was followed the whole time but we were never offered any help! I think if we had some help it would have been quicker and simpler. Just saying instead of following and watching, offer some help. Any way, we found a sweater for our daughter. And the cashier was helpful. She had some good advise for us.

Horrible. 7 minute wait for someone to turn up at the skate section so I could pick up skates that were being sharpened. Theres 2 entrances to this location and its a long store. The " front" of the store they call it. Which is the mall entrance. And the "back" of the store. Which is a big fancy entrance from their parking lot and is the exact same inside as the " front" of the store. 3 cashes there also. My 2 year old and I finally got our skates and go to the " back" of the store to pay. 5 minute wait there aswell looking around trying to find an imployee. Someone finally comes up and says sorry these cashes are closed you have to go to the front of the store. Right on. My 2year old and I walked to the other end. Waited in a 10 minute line up to pay. Walked all the way to the "back" of the store because we were parked at that big fancy main entrance FFS. And going thru the door the alarms went of. I said "its fine im just picking up my skates and the lady at the front already took the tag of the bag they had put on when they first came in" oh no. No way I couldn't just go now I'm a thief. Everything out of the God damn bag and questioned and my sons brand new skates that I had just bought 2 weeks ago. I was asked where the receipt was. You've got, to be f***ing kidding me. Il never walk into another sport chek again in my life time. It shouldn't take half an hour and running around the store to pick up your skates that you dropped of to get sharpened.

Well, I placed an order online Thursday am. The item I wanted was available in store. So instead of attending the store I tjough I would try curbside pick up. Placed my order, received email confirmation almost immediately that my order went through and to wait for a follow up email as to when I could attend and pick up.my order. A few minutes later, another emIl confirmation that payment went through but to wait for email confirmation when my order was ready for pick up. Today is Monday and still no email. Called the store to inquire and was told my order was ready Attended the store, asked about my order and the cashier went and got it. I asked the cashier why I would not have been notified that it was ready. Was told that they don't send out the email, it is automated, they just call. I let her know that no one called. That I had to call. She basically said oh okay. Very disappointed with the service or lack of at this location....5 days to get shoes that were in stock.

My wife and I were shopping recently in this store and were really impressed with the service. Carter went out of his way to greet everyone who entered the store. All the staff were enthusiastic and were either engaged with customers or ensuring the merchandise was back in place in it's proper place. The girl when checking in would not accept my visa and bank card as ID I had nothing else on me, the person in front of came and told me that the girl didn't ask her for ID she even spoke to her and it did not matter. We were here for a hockey tournament with my two kids as a mother I was very disappointed with the service and now have to look for another hotel!!!

The girls in the clothing/change room area were horrid. I tried on a pair of yoga pants and got nasty comments about how someone of my “shape and size” should “go for looser clothing, as nobody wants to see that”. Im 5’7 and 145lbs. Got the bike that i wanted today. This location is well outside my city limits as I am from Toronto. However the staff here are so friendly!. Thank you to Nancy for securing the item and Debbie for ensuring it was ready for me when I got there. This made the process so pleasant and seamless. I chose this location due to the facr that I got Terrible Online customer service, they can really benefit from more training on handling issues from customers. Even if it was a distance to travel well worth visiting as Nancy, Debbie and the staff at this location , they do it right! putting the customers first. Cheers!

I really recommend anyone to keep your receipt very well after buying thing there. In my experience, I bought a pair of children soccer shoes price $45 for my son yesterday but not fit. Today after school, I brought my son there, trying to make an exchange, finding that I lost my receipt. Then I was told that I have to pay another about $13, because I lost my receipt. In their rule, no receipt means that the price goes to the lowest one in last 14 days which means the price I paid $45 turns to value about $32. If I would like to exchange for 1 size biger same shoes, I need to pay $13 more. I would like to share this, hoping you won't be like me. By the way, when I am so upset about this rule and the coldness of cashier and manager. I went to a young gentleman responsible for the shoes part, he is very kind and ask if there is anything he could help. I can't help telling him how I feel about all these and how I was treated in the cashier and manager place. I really appreciate his kindness by listening to me.

Went to Charlottetown store to purchase a sale item. Found it was sold out..it was 7 minutes after store opening. Then a staff member said it could be ordered on line and proceeded to do this for me and I paid for the purchase. Was told it would be shipped to my home and left the store feeling good. While shopping elsewhere that morning came across a similiar item and could have purchased the 2 items I wanted but decided I would wait for what had been ordered. This morning I opened the tracking email to find the items were cancelled. Why did they order if none were available on line. I also heard before I left the store that day that only 4 were ever at the store!! What a disappointing experience with a store I have been shopping at since it opened here. Never again will I buy there. Thanks for nothing.
