You will see all the opinions of people who purchase the services of Frontenac Mall (Mall) in Gananoque territory (Canada).
To this day this firm gets a score of 3.6 stars over 5 and this score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is very high, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can be pretty sure that the rating is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to place evaluations when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Amazing smaller mall with a very yummy well priced eatery. The mall cops are simply that..not mean and they don't police there they monitor and dissuade unhealthy choices of miss behaviors..
Pleasant staff
Almost no life inside
There's nothing in the mall... except a dollar store.... it was probably great at one point
The reptile and pet store in this mall is atrocious. They should be shut down. All the birds look mottled, patchy and near death. It is truly a heartbreaking state of affairs. (edit they have been shut down. Good)
Very clean ????
Value village was my reason for shopping on this visit. Very well organized and staffed. Remind me not to go on seniors day next time.
Alright selection of stores, smaller than the Cat Centre but has its perks none the less.
Not busy to to move around freely
Doesn't have many good stores but has a couple big stores keeping it afloat; Food Basics, Value Village, Dollarama, Mandarin. The only tenant I personally find worthwhile is Putt N Blast. The stores inside are few with a lot of empty spaces.
Went to service Canada
To say that this mall is dying a slow and painful death is putting it mildly. Most of the shops are boarded up and Dollarama (edit: entrance on the exterior now) and Value Village are the anchor stores. Need I say more? Bright points include a Swiss Chalet, Mandarin, and Food Basics. So I guess there are some redeeming features. If you're looking for a place that has stuff though, head to the Cat Centre.
Largely forgettable but there is a fantastic antique/curio store.
Very ghetto failing mall. Alot of empty store fronts.
Quiet. Roomy. Well lit and friendly serviceable staff. More people need to go here to help the local businesses within flourish.
This mall was great. It's still very good but there is vacant stores that have been empty for some time now.
It's not the booming centre from years ago, but the businesses that remain are solid and offer great service & prices...and being a quieter mall now, I can get in and out of there without much hassle of the high traffic centres.
Limited stores, but it's quiet and has cute stores
Cute old mall. Some great shops and excellent finds. I wish something new and exciting would come to that mall and bring more shoppers. Always loved Frontenac Mall.
So-so mall, once it was quite grand but now seems a bit in decline and showing it's age. It is fine for people living in the area but now worth someone going out of their way or long distance to shop at.
I would actually give no stars if I could. They should fix the parking lot It's like driving through a mine field and getting worse all the time.
Great specialty stores. I love The Hock Shop. They have great items at great prices. Chit Chat Cafe has nice food choices that taste great.
Always an enjoyable experience coming here.
Tis poor mall needs some friends... Please go there.
Not a bad place to go for a "mall crawl". Standard stores, nothing unusual
Food is pretty standard, only worth going during lunch pricing. Although it is always very clean and friendly staff.
The new pet store is great
Parking lot needs work. Not the cleanest
Clean. Nice. Not busy
I was at the Hock Shop today and the staff were excellent, with the friendly hellos and excellent sell staff. Plus prices are better then most stores.
The exterior lot is absolutely horrible. Has needed to be repaired/replaced since I moved here in 2000. The washrooms are seriously dated and not the best. They have not had much success filling vacant spaces either, so the current tennants must be suffering.
Slowing dieing mall, but Basics is its anchor.
Quiet, not busy but still like going here. Definitely not rushed service. Everyone is very friendly and will not hesitate to help you
Limited store selection. A lot of empty store spaces.
Clean lts of signage and sanitizer.
Food Basics. Great ????
Food basics, dollar AMA, The Hock Shop and Value Village! What more does one need to get by in vintage style and on the affordable side of life!!
There's not much in the mall. Needs more retail outlets.
Sadly other than Value Village and Food Basics this mall is slowly deteriorating. Several professional and government offices have taken up residence.
Great place. Good stores. Excellent prices.
You got to love Harvey's
There isn't much around here if you're looking to do shopping
Mandarin, value village, dollarama, play it again sports
Black light mini golf ♡♡ uhhh YES!
Went here for a kids chess tournament, seems like a lot of stores closing down here. Obviously not one of the higher profile malls in Kingston.
Useful little mall. Between The hobbie shop, dollarama and food basics it is convenient to get lots of things done and mini put is just a bonus.
We're not worth leaving home for. Should be their theme song. Sadly this mall took a dump over the years. I am guessing the lease rates are too high to keep any good stores. Most places are boarded up. There's a dollar store. Yay. You pass 2 or 3 of those on your way there. So other than the overpriced Hock Shop. Putt 'n blast and a retro gaming store. This mall is a waste of time. Unless you could eat. Then hit the Mandarin.
Absolute favorite for all you can eat buffet style, and there new ipad ordering system is awesome! You can see what every dish looks like before you order! We have done the tepanyaki there several times as well and their chefs are awesome and always make it a fun experience!
Getting better in the last couple years.
Love the food and service at Chit Chat ☺️???????????????? Cafe
It would be nice to see more traffic, but otherwise nice place to shop
Sometimes I like being the only person walking around in a mall. Has potential, they should do more events like they use to! Plus side, the Cafe inside is great and Value Village is nearby. Don't forget to show the kids that castle across the street!

Great place to get coffee, visit Dollarama and are equipped with large, clean washrooms.
Miss the active mall setting of past.
The store of selling used products in this mall has some gems.
This mall it had some renovation done recently. It carries new stores.
Is convenient when in the area. Has a dollar store and food basics where I shop the most.
Its a teardown waiting to happen
This mall died a slow, long death. So sad. Only a few businesses left.
Best Chinese buffet I've ever been to, hands down. Excellent service. Huge selection of food, and its fresh.
Went to Value Village to find some bargains.
Good mall location with affordable shops and amenities located between downtown and Kingston township. Includes laundromat, grocery store, dollar stores, Boys & Girls Club, Value Village thrift store, and Chinese buffet, with ample parking. Easy access via local transit options & convenient during errands throughout town.
Nice and well maintained Mall
The only reason I go there is food basic or mr. jackets they need to get more stores in there that used to be one of the hot spots to go to and then it just a disgrace to see it fall by the wayside
Quaint little mall. Seems to be picking up business wise. Value village, Mandarin, food basics, Dollarama...
This place never seems to have any decent stores and none of them stay long. The best part about it is the putt n blast and the hock shop. They have some interesting events occassionally but other than that, it's not worth the trip. Half the retail space aren't even rented out to anyone. It's just kind of sad.
Parking lot is a mess with potholes! The mall is half empty but what's here is really good.
Great restaurant in this mall
Cool stores, pet shop is pretty unsanitary though.
Good food
Not much there any more but what is there is great.
It's Kingston's dive mall... Many empty store fronts
Easy access and lots of parking.
Small mall has some great shopping places
It great chit ???? chat cafe ????
nothing open or left there
It was great my girlfriend works there so every time I visit the mall I get to see her beautiful face.
good food fast delivery
Cozy lil mall- nice cafe/coffee shop
Great place to eat as much you can with loved ones
Been going there for years I like malls I can sit I need too because I can't walk that far
Large place lots of unique stores. Although some stores youve seen before. Has laser blast which is a blast. And its a great place to go for your evening shopping errands
The mall seems to be coming back to life with the petstore and video game store chit chat cafe and willmores wicks. You also have other grate places like Mr jackets, put n blast, hawk shop, Service Canada, awsome and beyond. And lot more stores are coming back it's really picking up there
Not necessarily a glamorous mall, but come here if you have a few things to grab from the Food Basics or Dollarama
The eyeglass place there is good, not a lot of other stores. The pawn shop there is decent as well.
Again need more stores!
Still some great stores in this mall. I think everybody will find at least one thing that they would like.
So good.
Was only in the basement for laser tag but if the rest of the mall is as run down then woof!
It could definitely use some more stores, especially after factory direct left.
Place is good to hang around shops of daily need stuff and food stores. It won’t serve you the purpose of mall to roam around as it is an open market place and you have to exit one shop to get into another.

Not a great first impression of Kingston malls. Its a small community mall that has about 25 stores. Kind of dingy and definitely old. It sits right across from the Collins Bay institution (which is gorgeous!)
This mall is very small and does not have many stores that are aimed at being a bargain store. This mall was better when it still had walmart.
Nice little mall. Not much to it but it's cozy. :)
Good mall if you don't like people it's a ghost town
Its ok. Seems to be comeing back to life again.
Fresh food in the grocery store, very friendly staff
Old mall, not many stores left within the mall but theres a pawn shop, doller store, food basics and value village (not connected to the malls inner hallways)
It could use some updating inside and out but overall it's still going strong after all this time.
Nice mall but small and somewhat bland.
The parking lot is terrible so full of pot holes and people drive through the mall without any regard for other people. Inside the mall is very empty and sorta sketchy.
Like any other mandarin. There are a lot of choices and the food is tasty, hot and refilled often. I particularly liked the garlic broccoli and baked salmon. The staff were friendly and quickly offered moised hot towels before and after our meal. All in all it was a great experience. I give 4 start because the mandarin in Ottawa had a more selection but everything else was the same. It's a great place to go out and treat yourself.
This mall has potential but is slowly decreasing. The front lot was fixed but the remaining lots are atrocious. Inside the mall is not worth visiting.
Love the pet store.
It's the most empty mall in Canada
Not really much to do here anymore
I hear they are getting one of the first marijuana shop in Kingston and it's a good thing because I don't know how they keep lights on with so many vacant stores. Kinda sad.
Chit chat cafe, the laundromat, Mr jackets and grocery store all top notch.
Almost no stores left here, poor air quality and lighting. Depressing environment.
Calm place
Amazing food , wonderful staff , and fast serve .. Loved the desserts to .. Highly recommend . also really liked the fish , so pretty :)
Not as exciting as the cat centre, but there's some great shops. Give it a go.
The only thing worth visiting is the Mandarin resturant
Lots of stores really busy
Was at value village...love that place!
Decent people working there most are friendly. Only a few shops open however.
No stores open
Not much there. Glow in the dark mini putt, interesting antique store
This malls unfortunately dying. I usually just visit Value Village.
Enjoyed the Chit Chat Cafe with friends. Great selection of tea & coffee!
More empty store locations then actual stores very disappointing.
Usually every employee in all the stores are polite.. but the mall itself is starting to die down.. not enough stores anymore
Other than the dollarama and food basics, there isn't a lot going on in there
For all your Shopping Needs Visit The Frontenac Mall o Bath Rd. Kingston, Ontario. Opposite The Collins Bay Penitentiary .
Its a small and very cute mall it has 2 levels, when i was there they were doing renovations. Although it closes early throughout the whole week and weekend!
I like the mandarin restaurant but i don't shop here at the mall.
Not a whole lot of stores left in the frontenac Mall but still visit it occasionally. Like going into Food Basics, Value Village and the laundromat
Love this little mall it's fun for young kids with its colouring station and Loonie rides.
It good go there
I like browsing at Value Village. Prices are rather steep on some Items but it costs nothing to Browse. Sometimes you can get really good deals too.
Sorry mall, gone down hill. I'll always miss the bridge centre.
Wallet is in Kingston Ontario there's Factory Outlet Value Village I believe it's No Frills or Metro is the grocery store there and there is a Bulk Barn where you get
With only a small handful of “go to” stores ( Food Basics,Dollaramma, The Hock Shop , Value Village and Mandarin this mall surprisingly has almost everything someone could want or need on their shopping trip. Added plus is they frequently have special “in mall” events ( Santa, NASCAR , Reptile Shows Etc ) that always draws a crowd in year after year. Mall is always clean and not overly crowded making t a perfect place to stroll without being shoved and ran over by the usual mall gangs.
This is the place to go when you just want to eat. Loosen that belt a notch and dig in to some delicious and seemingly endless food. I will say that it is pretty expensive but you get good value for what you pay for.
Good food for a great price.
Not really clean and not very great service in the stores that I have visited
Almost every local is empty!
Such a boring mall ...all the stores closed down . Waste of space if ya ask me
Value village was very busy with a wide selection of newer items added today. 50% of winter accessories. Yay Leggings $4.99 Fuzzy socks $1.24 ea
Neat coin and game stores
This mall is very small and does not have many stores that are aimed at being a bargain store. This mall was better when it still had walmart.
Food went down very fast...not Mandarin Quality no more..
Service canada very good place
Slowing down a little bit as stores come and go worth checking out but not visiting for that purpose
I always love being there
Most of the stores are closed. How long will this mall be open? Nobody knows.
It's a ghost mall, but the stores in it are okay.
Its an alright place, doesnt have very many storefront options though, and doesnt seem to be very busy or popular. Home of Reefs N Reptiles though, so if that sort of thing matches your interests its at least worth going to check it out. Overall its okay, and there are some fast food options around it, and a gorcery store.
Great service! Food is always fresh and there is a wonderful selection. If you don't like Chinese food that's okay! They have beef, turkey, soups and salads. The desert bar will keep your kids happy or satisfy you sweet tooth. Be sure to check them out! Especially if it is Chinese New year! They really know how to make the place festive!
some stores but still needs to improve and bring more ppl in , nice mall
Always have what I need!!!!
Mall wasn't open because of COVID-19.
Kind of dead there but the stores that r there that make u feel welcome
Lots of retail and services, cafe, Service Canada office.
Still love shopping indoors.
I got a soft spot for this OG mall! And now its Riocan it's being slowly renovated and improved with great stores to check out also grab a bite at the chit chat cafe great coffee and food!!!!!! With Homemade baked goods etc which are delicious!!!!!
It's a beautiful mall
Mall is small and not a ton of stores. But some of the places are well worth the visit.
Would love to see indoor malls like this one make a come back
Good shops, very little hustle and bustle, good service
My favourite place - VV Boutique
Nothing really great in this mall. Theres a Mandarins restaurant that is good though.
your basic mall with a good variety of shops
Parking lot needs a lot of work
They have been trying to keep this mall afloat with events and stuff but it still looks out dated, the public washrooms are an eye sore and there needs to be more shops.
Nice little mall. Food basics, Service Canada and a Mandarin restaurant all add to the place.
Kinda grungy and not much for options. If your looking to shop a variety of stores this isn't the place. Hock shop and sporting goods are about all they have worth shopping at.
Small mall, government offices, grocery store, Mandarin buffet, clean quiet building.
Always good but limited vegetables for vegetarians. $$$
It's ok... Too small... For such a city
It s a celebration on my bday
Not a huge fan, only come for laundry
Some decent stores, overall feels empty though
Not a big selection of stores.
Pretty good food but quite expensive for the taste. Wish there was a bit more selection and variety (too much of it is very similar in taste and texture).
Food Basics is my go to grocery store ! :)
Yead it was a good spot to do shopping until they took alot of store s out of there
Used the laundry mat...great service
Great food selection, friendly staff. As good as it was 4 yrs ago. Great tasty buffet.
Some good lil stores here
It's a cute little mall and has eclectic style!! It's always changing!!
Wish there were more stores
Love the Food Basics there.
Mall interior has the same challenge as other semi-strip malls. Exterior clients good, inside is more of a challenge.
Value Village does so much with we don't need anymore
Unique options but this mall needs a facelift. Starting to look rundown, not busy at all. Would be nice to have another indoor mall that is good quality other than the Cat Center...
It is a mall. Some interesting stores.
Nice mall with alot of little stores like dollar store and an antique place. Needs an update and more stores to be added.
Great deals, interesting stores
Not too busy....so was great
Found some great deals. Nice and clean.
Worst parking lot I have ever seen. It's been in terrible shape for so long and has never been fixed. I feel like my car is being damaged every time I drive through it.
The stores that are in there now are pretty good. The only problem is that there is only about 4 or 5 stores open inside the mall...
Used to be a good place to shop..
Mall is dying a slow death. There are some good stores in there but the place makes me feel depressed.
Awesome buffet Great food great atmosphere
This hidden gem will keep you coming back for soup at the Chit Chat and great thrift in at Value Village plus the FoodBasics international aisle has a wonderful selection.
Great food and service!
Parking lot is full of massive pot holes!
Nice clean and follow the covid rules perfectly
The laundry goes round and round...
Lots of different stores. Usually find what I want
Not a lot of stores but still pretty convenient, tidy, lots of parking and on a bus route.
I love the Frontenac Mall because it's less busy than the big mall...its smaller...but a beautiful place just the same.
Nice old fashioned mall under one roof.
Great food, fast service...
It's a mini mall
Very small mall. Next to nothing in it. Unless you want to laser tag or mini putt
Reminds me of my childhood shopping with mom and grandma
Awesome place for shopping. Things available at best prices.
Great Mall and it's expanding. Looking forward to visiting to pickup something I need or just to spend an afternoon looking around.
Great staff and service. Food is great.
Wouldn't really consider this a mall. Besides the dollar store and food basics there really isn't much more. A couple random stores.
Don't like malls
I don't go here often. Good shops here are Value Village and Food Basics.
I remember when woolco was there
Nice but not all it there. Have a few neat stores
This in door mall is slowly dying and has been for some time. It doesn't have the size or the attraction that the Cataraqui mall has. However it does earn a bit of points for the stores it does have. Like Monster Gamez. If you are a heavy retro gamer this is one of the best places to find gold. You can find pretty much anything you need for your retro console and they have one of the largest and unique collection of games. I really shouldn't be spreading this information around since I recently started playing super Nintendo games again and often look for games there myself. The mall also has Putt'n Blast a basement floor converted into a laser tag arena and mini golf course. A great place to take kids to waste some time and entertain. If you want food and a light meal then it's off to the Chit Chat cafe. It's nothing fancy and some of the food can easily be made at home but it's also some of the freshest ingredients. The soup is often excellent and changed daily or often. The Hock shop found just down from these places often has the best selection and prices in gaming and electronics. It's fairly easy to find what you are looking for there. They also carry a good selection of musical instruments if you are a beginner it's a great place to get what you need at a reduced price. It's the best place to go for consoles. Most of the consoles are packed with everything you need to get playing and are often supplied with 2 controllers not just 1. The contents are neatly printed on the outside of the box they come in so you know what you should be getting. The mall is equipped with many sitting areas and garbage bins and is also accessible for people with disabilities. It also has an excellent Asian and Harvey's restaurant located in the parking lot if you feel like having a bigger meal.
Not a good experience for our party of 8. Our bill was taken care of by management. Our server was a lovely young lady and management was kind.
Lovely Asian cuisine
Busy and popular!
This is a great place to shop with a large selection of shops, my main reason for going here is for the walking exercise I get.
Lots of spots to shop
Staff members are great food is good
The mall used to be a hustling & bustling place in its hay day full of traffic now it’s borderline a deserted mall..the place is clean & floors are shiny but there’s not much left to it except a dollar store & food basics & glow in the dark mini put..the front of the mall parking lot is in okay shape but if you are to adventure into the back be warned there is a lot of pot holes & may damage your car..there is also a laundry mat in the back of the mall
Great dollar store here
OVERPRICED & food was not that good.
Quick and easy shopping laundary and hair dresser
When you need to pawn your PS4 and figure out a dollar store dinner. Never anyone there. Few lines. Laser mini golf is dope.
I love the Chit Chat cafe inside!
We are very pleased. The service by Amy and managers was exceptional. This was about our sixth visit. I think we'll be regulars!
This mall has a lot of empty stores and the parking lot is full of holes.
Walk through mall with a Food Basics location plus Harvey's, Swiss Chalet and Mandarin Oriental restaurant in the parking lot.
Pretty beaten. Needs some TLC, and some new stores.
Sad state of affairs at this poor mall
This mall deserves more attention and respect. Some serious advertising would do some real good
The food and value was excellent
Best laundry mat. and wilmer wicks is open, and foodbasics
Good food for the price nice friendly service
Nice place even it is hard to get out from parking lot.
There are very few shops in this mall.
What a waste of space. What was once a place to shop inside is now a ghost mall. A Dollarama, Mr. Jackets, Food Basics and The Hock Shop are among some of the stores that still exist. Indoor mini putt and laser tag are downstairs. Attached to the mall is The Boy's and Girl's Club, Mandarine and Value Village are all home to this lot with plenty of parking.
Came for my sons soccer. The indoor turf is perfect for toddlers to run around and kick the ball
Great food, but, expensive!
Great place to walk and spend an afternoon
A very small mall with not much to see. They used to have tons to do but lately all the stores have closed down and moved out. It's sad to see it so empty.
With Mandarin (chinese super buffet ) Dollarama, Food Basics and some other stories it is good place to visit. On the parking lot is Harvey's fast food. Planty of parking space and a tranquil area.
Good food reasonable price and great service.
Very clean and wheelchair assable
Good food great place friendly staff
Found what I went there for Limited shopping experience with most their stores closed or just offices
❣️???? very friendly people
I like old mall it still has some good stores and there is lots of parking always.
All is very good
Its small, there's not alot of stores there
Dollar store, a few good Christmas gift place and a food basics. Not much else
Friendly service great food as always
Yummy selection and to die for flavors. The employees are always friendly and never keep you waiting. Truly amazing in every way, shape and form.
This mall only has few stores and some offices. The place that I love going is The body works and Mandarin. Parking lot needs major repairs and the unnecessary; bigger than normal size speed bump in front of the Value Village, needs to be gone or marked properly so it is visible and does not damages any car. Update on my previous review: They have hired contractors and patched the parking lot in major places, still needs a lot of work but does serves the purpose.
The Frontenac Mall is a diamond in the rough. There are some really nice little shops hidden in this lesser known mall. I very much enjoyed Christmas shopping here this year. The stores are all quite unique and well priced. There is also a small flea market and a pawn store if your looking for a bargain. If you have some time to kill I recommend giving this place a chance.
Good peaceful place to shop!
From all the changes that have happened throughout the history of Kingston, this place still has not gone out without a fight it keeps punching and swinging no matter how many times downfalls of come towards it. it is still soared through the ashes
So-so mall, once it was quite grand but now seems a bit in decline and showing it's age. It is fine for people living in the area but now worth someone going out of their way or long distance to shop at.
Found a wonder little store. Stokes the reps were wonderful and a lot of kitchen ideas
Clean mall, the employees are friendly, polite and helpful in finding whst you're looking for.
Dollarama, food basics, monster games, hook shop, ontario service, sports store, value village, Mandarin buffet restaurant.
Good Asian food but not much excitement shopping wise.
Very few stores but one time It used to be a happenin place
Not many stores but stores there have nice gift selections
There's nothing wrong with the mall itself, but there is a huge lack of stores and a somewhat depressing atmosphere. A large amount of stores that end up in the mall do not last long clearly as a good quarter of the mall is for lease.
I mean, according to my grandfather it used to be a fun place but the only memorable stores were the dollar store and put and blast. It's kind of creepy walking through, you feel like you have to whisper it's so dead.
I got a soft spot for this OG mall! And now its Riocan it's being slowly renovated and improved with great stores to check out also grab a bite at the chit chat cafe great coffee and food!!!!!! With Homemade baked goods etc which are delicious!!!!!
A pretty quiet place but handy with Dollarama and Food Basics
Other than Mandarin Restaurant most empty except for grocery and pharmacy, laundromat and coffee shop. Plus a couple of other small stores and a bank.
It's a mall. Recommend stopping for Greek lunch/supper.
Clean mall
If you are into driving a lot of low quality, high sodium into your gullet you will love this spot. Grab some Pepto Bismo and a blanket after a feast here. Or choose a quality place to eat
This so called "mall" bites
The mall is about 60% empty but still some decent stores
Needs more selection. Feels dated.
Wilmer Candles is an excellent store to browse in and find unique items. As well as the flea market store. It is ridiculous that the Dollar Store can only be entered by going outside and it is totally ridiculous that the owners of this mall can't seem to utilize all the fantastic space that is available. It would be nice if they would sell it to a company that would be interested in establishing a going concern shopping centre. This has gone on for too many years.
The mall got the best game stores.
Frontenac mall used to be a great place to visit. It is now extremely quiet and not the place for a real shopping experience. Sadly, the only time I go there is to visit the video game store or to go to Food Basics. There are public washrooms on site. There is a Dollarama, pawn shop, coffee shop, travel agency, antique shop and more. Hopefully one day the company that owns the mall will consider some sort of revitalization project to bring this mall back to what it once was.
It's always good and looking forward more activity needs
A few great places in this mall
Realy good old video game store in this mall.
Off for a smoke
Sad what's happened to this mall.bring back woolco
A lot of specialty shops in this one but also a Mandarin, Value Village and Food Basics.
This mall has seen better days. A lit of the stores are closed. Parking lot is a mess, full of holes and bumps.
I've been going to this mall since I was a kid.
If you are looking for unrushed shopping experience, Frontenac Mall is the place. I like the this because it is nice to stroll around, wuthout having to avoid pumping to people.
Mall needs a complete update and new stores.
The mall is nice and clean. There aren't too many stores here. There is also a grocery store attached to the mall.
The exterior pavement is and from my recollection, has always been in bad shape for the last 20 years. Last night when I pulled in off Bath rd the driveway was in horrible condition. They seem to have a constant issue getting and retaining tennant's here.
If you like mall graveyards. Its the place for you.
Not too many stores there but the Mandarin restaurant is great.
Not much there The parking lots will eat your car the only place that has bigger pot holes is Montreal street
The original Kingston Mall after along with Kingston center. Check it out for groceries and all other shopping needs.
The laundry mat is the only good place in that entire mall if you need to laundry check out the laundry mat
How is this place even still considered a mall? They have next to nothing inside and any store that moves in there, leaves asap. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice place, but they could do so much better.
It's a small strip mall with only a few stores.
Wow cant wait to visit again. It was so good we ate the pictures lol
The malls really dying and its honestly pretty depressing. Though, the few stores that are here are amazing and I really hope they stay.
Had some great deals!
It's a mall what do you expect?
It's got the strip mall basics. Chinese buffet, grocery store, dollar store. Service Ontario as well.
Great deals. So deal with it.
Dollar store awsome staff plus cool stuff throughout the mall pet store a plus from advice to pleasant chat ????
Very little good shops and the building itself is getting run down.
Love it nice shops good cafe
Frontenac Mall web site is EXTREMELY OUTDATED. The stores owners should be aware.
usually empty, peaceful and quiet. can stop for a coffee, or snack, or grab a meal at a nearby restaurant. visit this mall for frequently than the cat centre
This mall is half dead. There are some good stores inside like the antique shop but a lot of rhe storefronts are shuttered. It's not a terrible place but it is not that exciting either. I would probably only go here for something that I couldn't get somewhere else.
This place is seriously lacking. It always feels like more stores are closed then open. Feels budget... On the plus side it has a Mandarin
I was there for service Canada, and the employees was very welcoming and nice enough to provide a very good service experience
Good food! Nice atmosphere ????
Shadow or it's former self, but still a nice little mall.
Came to get a protractor compass and some cue cards from dollarama.
Came to get a protractor compass and some cue cards from dollarama.
Bathrooms clean. Area to sit. Home of the hockshop.
Amazing food and service!
Food basics my go to for groceries
Mandarin Restaurant. This buffet restaurant is a luncheon favourite for the children, parents and grandparents. The kids have an infinite choice of dishes and desserts including many ice cream flavours. The parents like it that their children 5-12 are charged 1/2 of the Monday to Friday $16.99 luncheon price. Seniors 65+ get 20% off the $16.99 price Monday to Friday. I was there with my three grandkids and the area of the restaurant we were in was filled with seniors. We seniors, too, were enjoying the wide range of things to eat. We also liked the festive atmosphere of the restaurant with interesting wall sculptures, colourful ceiling hangings and a giant fish tank. And the servers were very enthusiastic.
Food Basics and the Boys and Girls Club are well worth the trip there.
Best dead mall for miles. You want shuttered storefronts? You got it! Want sketchy outlet stores with an angry accented guy in a tracksuit? Boom! Want to see shambling hordes of old people power walking through the abandoned halls? They've got fogies for days! So grab your free newspaper and wallow in the grave of yesteryear's retail paradise, frontenac mall (doesn't) have it all!
Very clean but needs more stores
Love the koi and cichlids oh yeah the food is good to but I go for the fish lol
Great deals and grocery products. Easy access & Great service
Good place to shop for the Wi-Fi sets of cataraqui Centre
Just went to food basics. Huge store with an amazing selection of food. Great produce.
Not too many stores open. Parking lot is kind of rough.
Marrellos hairstylist and dolarama and food basics is there
This mall is very sad. The cafe inside is wonderful☕????, but the building feels abandoned and derelict
Amazing price for lunch all you can eat
Hock Shop and Mandarin; not much else unless you need to talk to the government
I mean it's definitely a mall that's for sure
This mall has limited representation from chain/national stores. It is predominantly small business. Not a good destination for casual shopping, excellent for specific destination. There is an arcade/laser tag/miniput that is entertaining.
Love value village and Food basics
Value village, Dollarama, hock shop, monster games, food basics, puttn'blast.... It makes for a good visit. Cafe and kids rides too- not to mention service Canada.... You can get stuff done here.
Great place for visits.
Odd mall, not too much in there but you can find jems if you look, kind of a dirty mall to be honest
Good place
Great food nothing special
Really quiet mall. Most stores inside the mall are rather expensive except for the dollar store and food basic
Love the awesome and beyond store
Same old but way better then box store ,,,,,,,
There is not much at mall anymore now that Walmart moved. Hardly visit the mall.
Groceries @ food basics & dollar store shop!
Value village... Huge store every thing else is not as great as the size of the store
Nothing there anymore
The fish department inside that mall, beginning it was good, but now it seems like treats you that you NEED them more. But I WOULD NOT go there even they are the only one that selling fish in Kingston.
Terrible pot holes and the speed bump at value village is the worse I have ever used even at turtle speed.
The quiet, easy mall... Probably my favorite vape shop is here along with the hock shop and many others. I really wish this mall was as loved as it was when I was a kid.
It’s too big complex to find any think you and your family needs
Love the variety they offer
Always good food although sugar, salt, and spice could be a bit lighter and bit expensive but still we go and how can't you resist lol
Went to Put and Blast for the first time and it was awesome
Parking lot is a shambles but good restaurants and optician.
The mall could use some new life, but Food Basics has good food prices overall and it's worth the drive. I was also surprised to see so many great restaurants there.
It's an old store but ok to shop at
A staple of the area this place has been "the mall" in Kingston since it's opening but like so many others it's time has come. It's mostly closed and is due for demolition. So go experience the feeling of an old mall before it's too late....
It is a good place to shop but there's not as much variety as let's say the cataraqui mall
Amazing food and definitely got my moneys worth! Its an interesting experience and a must see!
The few stores that remain are the only thing keeping this place from becoming an empty parking lot, not much here anymore
Amazing food ..this is a must go
Swiss chalet at the mall was as usual excellent.
The food is only OK. Service is fine and the staff are very nice. They are very attentive. Only go there once in a while. Gets boring. A lot of Chinese dishes missing. The real exotic dishes are just not there. Pandering to non Chinese people population . too bad. I'd prefer real Chinese food
We shop at Food Basics
Mall has alot more potential than it is being used for. Don't get me wrong, the stores are good, location is great, but at least 1/3 of the mall is unused or not rented.
Very limited stores. Food basics and the Dollar store is why I go there.
This is such a dead mall!
I bit pricey... But great food and selection
It is an old mall and needs people to shop there as much as they
Pawn shop
Fairly good place to shop. I enjoyed it.
Great food great choices. There certainly is a great selection of food main dishes and desserts. Waiting time is next to none when you make reservations. They lost our reservation but were very quick to realize their
Great meal at the Mandarin.
This mall has been thru many transformations and seen high tenant turnover. It seems like new owners may be able to bring it around to fit well within the community again.
Just a couple of places worth going to. In normal times it's hard to find businesses to occupy stores. Right now frontenac mall has little value.
Slow and steady would describe the mall old and tried
Went to the Mandarin for dinner last night, awesome.
A rather run down place The luster of this once very popular mall is gone
Ok as a mall, but if I were a tenant I would be UNHAPPY, to say the least, about the VERY POOR condition of the parking lot. As a driver, I avoid their rough terrain parking lot at all costs and only go to the mall when I have to.
This mall has lots to offer with a great grocery store and a laundrymat at hand. Amazing restaurant that serves buffet and the amazing Value Village and Hock Shoppe that everyone is sure to find that special treasure or deal of a lifetime ..not to mention so much more through out the Frontenac mall ...a great place overall!
I grocery shop here and visit there dollar store.
There to see the stock cars and sad that there want many or none of the drivers
Shop here every month. Could change up stores
Has just about everything you could want for your home. Easy access and lots of free parking.
it's ok not enough stores to shop in
The revolving door ! Kingston's best for her eyes only! Go see for a you day? Or a Ladies day. It will be a inexpensive smile!
Excellent for couples or larger groups
Too little to do here. Sure there's a few local businesses but the mall has gone way down hill. There's not much to do here at all. Mind you the cafe is brilliant.
I get my hair done in the Mall but really there is not much here.
Great stores!
Older mall but still has some good stores without alot of the crowds some of the other malls have.
Great for laundry cause you can shop at the dollarama and value village while you wait :)
Nice place to shop but it needs more stores in it. The mall is owned by the Riocan Corporation and they like to hike up the rent, they lowered their rent more stores would be able to go into the nice mall.
Big mall, nice food court.
Both of the stores I delt with were so helpful
Other than a Lovely cafe, and a grocery store this mall doesn't have much to offer. It has a lot of empty stores. There is a service Canada location here if you need your passport sorted or need to apply for unemployment. The Hockshop is a cute store with some second hand odds and ends. This mall also features a laundry mat in the back of the building. My daughter doesn't live far from this mall so I tend to pop into it occasionally to grab a few groceries when I head home. The mall also has the santa pics for kids and the other seasonal pic display eg Easter bunny.
Not as many places to shop
It's seen better days, but if you're in the market for dollar stores, or service Ontario, look no further!
Enjoy the accessibility to all store. Very convenient
Reminds me of my childhood shopping with mom and grandma
Not many stores in the mall. Grocery store is attached.
What can I say the Frontenac mall has been locking for a very long time stores come and go here and nothing really ever seems to change much about the place. The parking lot has being a disaster here for as long as I can remember. Be careful you don't damage your car either on the giant potholes in the parking lot or the giant speed bumps which had being installed. Really don't like having to shop here. The level of customer service and quality of food at Food Basics is horrible
Went to the Mandarin Restaurant on Bath Rd dam good food and service was perfect....
Really the only good place here is Mandarin
Best food ever
The worst parking lot nothing but pot holes.
Not really much there . But mini Gulf and lazer tag
Great to see Fernando at the laundromat and as always an amazing lunch at Chit Chat Cafe...... Don't forget get to visit our friend across the way ....now selling plus sizes for people that are like me and love to eat????. Plus he has amazing prices...
Quaint but serviceable. This mall has a nice coffee shop, and my favorite Laundromat. Cheap, and you can browse the mall while machines run. The "hock shop" had nice deals, and instruments to play. The food basics is full sized and the laser tag/mini putt outlet is tons of fun.
Kind of pricey but loads of food
It's a fine location. The place has a limited selection of shops.
Went to Avant Salon and Spa! They are the best!!
Everything delious..Staff very nice. Only disappointment was a Ceasar drink. Surprised as that is a very easy drink to make. It was all watery..pale colour.
Smaller mall. Has some good stores and the cafe has great food
It should have more stores to visit but the food basics there is horrible very dirty and horrible customer service always hire young people who have no experience in customer service
Closed due to Covid-19
Food and service were good, but the prices are very high.
Putt n blast! Nuff said go there and play lazer tag
The only gem here is Value Villiage. Kind of dismal, definitely needs more stores. At least there is a Mandarin there where I can eat away all the bad feelings this mall gives me.
Didn't gone inside but the look of restaurant from outside is awesome...
I would even call this a mall 1 grocery store and a couple of dollar stores I am surprised that this place is even open
Couple good places that are worth the trip, but that's about it asides a convenient location for myself for certain things
Alway enjoy my time!
Not as many shops as there used to be but still some great places that make it worth the visit.
???????????? Service Canada, a prison across the road, and a Value village. Everything Stinkston has to offer, all in one place. …
Nice clean mall, with a few good stores. Needs some big names to draw people back to it
This mall is aging with more and more empty spots. The Dollar Store is really good as is the Hock Shop.
Warm and friendly. Not like it was years ago but still go there
Lot of empty spots, very few stores but what is there is good.
I would have given more stars but, seems like over half the stores are closed down. Unfortunate as it was a busy place years ago. May need to bring in a bigger name to boost business.
Grose food too expensive
Pretty dead mall. Not too many places. Chit chat coffee is good. Also have amazing antique store in there.
I am actually quite amazed that this mall is still around. In its day it was great, lots of variety... Now, a dollar store and grocery store are the biggest retailers there. I will say however, the Chit-chat Café is really very good! Home cooked items and great tea and coffee are its corner stone. The staff are absolutely amazing as well. I hope for their sake the mall remains open!
Not many stores to shop at.
Among the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Undercooked, bland, barely warm. Go anywhere else...
Very friendly staff great food to pick from ,
Nice place too go and also love the Mandarin Restaurant they have good food enjoyed going there to eat..then I go to value village
Great mall
Good for indoor shopping
Good place for shopping.
Very clean mall and not crazy busy. Beautiful layout with lots of stores. Great place to shop
It is nice to go and shop hut would be better if there were more affordable stores in there.
Good to shop at Dollarama staff excellent.Chit chat cafe excellent
Some helpful businesses in this mall and a nice cafe. Thanks.
It;s OK, but lacking quality stores
Chickens on sale now ......
Some of the best sushi in Kingston!
Good mall, decent stores. Food Basic, Value Village and Dollarama anchors stores. Since empty store fronts otherwise not bad place
They have lots of different stores and food court. Good place to spend an afternoon.
Buffet ...good service
Grate place for a date night or just to go fill up on good food
Alot of empty stores but we are in the internet age so that's to be expected. They have an interesting mix of businesses though so it's always worth the trip.
Great place to eat
no not been there for years
It's nice to be able to get your groceries and go to the $Store in one trip.
I really like the stores in this mall.
I love this place because it is never busy! God I hope it stays in business. Specifically the vape shop, and the coffee shop. The owners of the coffee shop are funny and friendly. They make the task of obtaining our sweet god water delightful!
Not a bad mall just not enough stores
A bit run down, but still has charm.
Very friendly and helpful people.
This mall is a weird combo of some outside stores and only a few indoor one's but its got a Food Basics, Value Village, Mandarin, cafe and a laundromat out back. Beware the large potholes which are everywhere, some are true tire killers.
I have to wait sometimes for your turn.
Value Village was great. Lots of variety, and very welcoming and courteous staff.????
Small strip mall with most stores closed down. This mall has the worst parking lot when dealing with pot holes. This mall does house Service Canada. My favorite spot is Put n Blast. My favorite Chinese Buffet the Mandarin is here as well.
Best place and best food Very friendly staff could ask for a better place to eat
Needs new parking lot wow
Dying mall but what's there is good
Grocery store (Food Basics) is convenient. Also has a dollar store in the mall.
What can I say. My family and I had loved going to this restaurant. One night we had went to the mandarin for dinner, however the food was cold and not fresh. As the vegetables were limp and chicken dishes and chicken balls were all hard and dried out. The rice was hard not cooked all the way. We had mentioned it to our server but no discount was ever made towards the bill. Common Mandarin the quality and prices are not appealing. I am willing to pay top dollar providing the quality is 100 percent above the rest.
It a good place to get things done
Just not a very nice place to shop. Their thrift store is is priced more akin to a pawn shop.
they need to fix parking lot
Well, you can't speed through the parking lot if you don't have a 4wd truck with a lifted suspension, that's for sure. For those of us driving normal vehicles at 20 kph it feels like you're speeding down a backwoods trail bushwacking. Spend some money and fix the goat track. Past that, hope things rebound soon as it's getting empty but I like what's there.
Not very good for shopping
Nice stuff specially senior man who helps alot
Love this place. Great quality and variety of food. Clean environment!
Didn't like the service or the price. And the food wasn't that great kinda cold.
Not many stores to choose from. Its a small mall.
Great place to eat for a family or mixed-appetite group.
Nice place for a family shopping
Outdated mall. Surprised it is still open.
Great food and great service.
Large mall with very little in it lots of clothes stores no restaurants really a waste of time
Staff at Tender Tooties was friendly
All I know about this place is that Sakura is in front of it and the Mandarin is in it. Both fantastic restaurants!
Shame that monster games closes. Loved that store
Get gas here regularly usually good price clean washrooms
Love to shop at food basics good selection of food but not a friendly staff environment
Nice location, very unique stores
Only thing I am disappointed in is that it's not as popular as it should be it's great small business but nothing seems to last in there
This is a very nice destination for anyone who's had known about it from living in town or out of comers The value Village connected to the small can give you a very nice detail of all of the styles of clothing and variety of items for a cheap price there's the Boys and Girls Club right next-door which is very useful to get your children in with having Olympic size pool I believe it is and well I went there is good as a kid and to the outlet mall's connected near the hock shop service Canada the new Dollarama just expanded its size it's it's a great Mall to the Stop & Shop at
There's still quite a few good stores here, but there's also a lot of empty, or unused space.. It could definitely be improved..
Not the greatest mostly simple items. Parking is good.
The mall is finally mostly filling up the stores. This is wonderful for everyone
Great
Great selection of stores and eating
Opening and closing are not accurate on Google maps.
Not doing well ..not much to see or do
Mandarin was a great place to eat.
We enjoyed visiting Santa here before Christmas. The line up was quick and the elves were jolly.
Sad to think about how awesome I thought this mall was 40 years ago as a kid. Hope they can do more with it soon
Anchored by value village and food basics. Holds some seasonal events. Lots of empty retail space. Gives the impression of an urban mall that is barely holding on.
Convenient for restaurant and groceries as well it has Canada Service Centre
Great sales..clean
Supper at Mandarin. Wonderful food. Excellent service. Children & adults mixed together was very annoying.
This mall is a dump. Couple.of decent stores but mostly vacant
Has a grocery store, dollar store, cafe, antiques, optometry and dental office. Not quite the mall it used to be, but still a nice place
Not the biggest mall but has some real good smaller stores it also has the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston which is great for kids.
Hockshop and glow in the dark mini putt and laser tag, value village, antiques store and more all in one convenient location
Discount low end establishment
Too bad they cant get the parking lot giant pot holes fixed. And inside the mall is pretty sad and empty. It's like the landlord doesnt really care anymore.
Welcoming, clean and well stocked with homemade foods and wines.
Be hungry when you enter, stuffed when leave. Awesome
Seems a lot of businesses are moving elsewhere. That said, the Dollar Store is very well maintained and Value Village has some good bargains. The mall itself is in good condition, and speaks to the professionalism of RioCan in maintaining it.
Has food basic, which is useful, dollar store, sport store, value village and some other businesses.
Following all the covid rules
Great food and stores
Good for groceries and dollar store items
Love live the mandarin Best chinese place ever
needs more stores. so empty.. the ones that are there are good mom and pop stores!
Glad to see there is still an indoor mall with a great selection of stores!
Great food, resonable price.
The dirt mall of Kingston. Not much here.
Inside the store ok but the parking is the WORST not level in any way . It will take the level out of ANY
How can the ownership group actually try and Say they “manage” this location with the parking lot in the current condition it is?? MASSIVE potholes causing damage to vehicles. Avoid at all costs, you’re not missing anything anyways!
Mall isn't all that great but the Mandarin Restaurant there is fantastic.I have been here several times to eat and will continue to go here to eat. You pay around 18 dollars give or take depending on the time you go (lunch or dinner). The variety is very good there are lots of food dishes to choose from. They let you pay right at your table when your finished. When you get there they take you to a table and give you a warm cloth for your fingers and ask you what you want to drink. After that eat, pay, leave. Oh and they have live fish as you go in the front doors swimming in the ponds on either side of the door and big fish tanks in the dining area.
A mall that is dying off if it wasn't for Service Canada and the Chit Chat cafe. Wish something amazing would go there or that all of the stores had access from in the mall. They are all going independent instead of being one mall.
Not a very nice mall
Very nice people. There is a cool store that's like Green Earth store
Stay away from the fresh produce at Food Basics..bought oranges there on Thursday and threw them in the Garbage 2 days later full of mould.
This great a great little mall. Lots of free parking. Notable retail is Food Basics, iPhix, Manderin Restaurant, and even a dollar store. There are some empty stores, if I was a retailer o would rent space in this mall.
Horrible mall in need of renovations
For a small mall style based store area it gives you a good variety to choose from.
Nice quaint little mall not too many brand name stores though
Variety of stores here from groceries to dollar stores
Small, but cozy environment. Putt and blast is good for children's birthday partys.
Food is good, but expensive
Nice low key mall check out the nacheral skin products
I go to Chitchat Cafe for lunch. I find the food very good, the staff friendly The owners are personable and caring ❤
The mall is a rundown joke unfortunately, but it tries. The dollar store is a welcome addition to the mall. Something to stop for other than groceries or fast food.
The Mandarin was fabulous, really good food ,, and spotlessly clean ..... will certainly be back ...
Very few stores and mostly discount stores
More of an expensive conveniense store
Once a big mall but it's on a serious decline unfortunately,
I shop at Food Basics every two weeks because i have to pick up prescriptions their fruit and vegetables most of the time leave alot to be desired but their prices are reasonable
Not a bad mall to shop in
Fantastic place to eat
Fast service! Great taste and a large selection of sushis and asian dishes!????????????????
It is sad that this mall has so many empty store fronts now.
Went to Food Basics. My favourite grocery store!
Still an okay place to shop. Decent restaurant and small cafe located there. Service Canada office, pawn shop, gift shops.
Friendly people lots of stores
Relaxing place to shop , has multiple things to check out and possibly buy
Went to the Discovery of life show. They did a great job and really inform everyone about what endangered animals in Canada and what anumals don't make good pets.
Love Frontenac Mall ,it is always good experience now in Covid there is not too many people and very relaxing
Good quality Chinese food for a good price
So many potholes they should have an obstacle course set up...
Could use a map but other than that it's a good mall with a good selection of stores.
Sooooo good, who dont love all you can eat
Shop there bi weekly.
Small, not many stores,
Need more dress shops in this mall.
mandarin is good, but there are only a few stores
Always a good shopping experience.
Never went there
