The pharmacy is great! Courteous and always willing to help. Shoppers is a necessity for every city. I found the cosmetics are the nicest to their costumers. They're open late and on holidays more than any other store in Kingston so that's a bonus! They have everything you need from groceries to gadget's, they have it all.

Definitely the best mall in Kingston Ontario but not the greatest overall. The mall has some good food options in the food court mainly reaching the youth demographics. The mall has Hudson’s bay and shoppers drug mart and some other stores. The stores are not very big but you can always order something from Hudson’s and return it here. The mall is not the best mall overall and needs some trendy stores like the ones in Toronto or Ottawa. Overall 3/5. Can do a lot better!

Honestly a pretty solid mall. In a time where a lot of malls struggle, even with Covid this place is happening. Tons of stores, solid food court, and there’s a decent amount of people on the weekend. Weekdays are much better if you’re not a people person but not a ghost town by any means. All this place is missing is another anchor where Target was.

The Cataraqui Centre is a shopping mall in Kingston Ontario, consisting of places to obtain goods and services desired by its Human clientele. I observed many of them buying items to cover their fragile bodies, as most of them have yet to develop fur, feathers, or scales of any kind. Consumption of other creatures was witnessed in the facilities large dining hall, or what one of them described as a 'food court'. Every time I made my mouth wide and showed my teeth at the Humans here, they did the same in return; it was quite fascinating. What a great place to observe them in their natural habitat! You must try this experience!

Okay so I've been at alot of malls, and grew up near Toronto and Mississauga which have the best malls and if i'm going to review Cararaqui than i have to mention those malls because it surprises me just how well they have built and improved this small little mall for such a small place. They have all the basics but don't expect to find things that no one else does because it's just not that big. If you're looking for a place to hang out, this is the place most people go just to browse and window shop and spend time with their friends at the food court. they have a starbucks upstairs and an INDIGO! wifi everywhere too.

Surprisingly well adapted to Covid. The food court has half of the seating Tarped off completely, with others marked as spacer tables, and the actually available tables have reminders about how and where to sit, in relation to other diners. Stores all have entrances and exits (at least the few that I passed by) and sanitizer, and the busiest stores have gridwork lineups taped off with spatial reminders. It felt weird, but it's easily adapted to, and much more geared to safety than I expected.

This mall has been making improvements over the years but it remains a below-average mall. There are not many selections for stores or name brands. Marshall's is an improvement. The mall layout is extremely inconvenient too, with stairs located only on the etremes of the mall. The food court can be messy.

Thank goodness for A/C. Social and Physical distancing is difficult in malls. Think about the arrows in grocery stores. How many walk the wrong way down the isle? So many. Well a lovely covered mall has the same issues. The issues are exacerbated by the multiple avenues the mall allows for. Wear your mask and sanitize like a crazy person. At least it's cool in there.

As an indoor mall, it is about what you would expect. The usual stores you would find in a mall and a food court. Stores include H&M, Urban Planet, Indigo, The Bay, etc. Only improvement I could recommend would be better caretaking of the food court area. Frequently the tables and chairs are dirty first thing in the morning, and they obviously haven't been cleaned since the night before. Other than that, a pretty good mall and the best in Kingston!

The variety of stores, inside this mall, is great. They seem like a community, because they work together on goals, like the one on now for the malls stores to donate some toys to the less fortunate. I myself donated a teddy bear, because I sent enough at one store to do that. So I guess I saying to help the community you should shop at the Cataraqui Centre, and help out the less fortunate, if you can. It seems to be a popular place to eat, because the food court always has someone there. You are bound to find some little thing to help your family have a special Christmas this year. Oh I love the Cat mall it has such a variety of quality name brand stores and kiosks as well all year long then during xmas season they bring in the specialty kiosks for a couple months before Christmas which is always great buys at good prices.Also they now have the glass elevator centre of mall on first level which is such a great help for for those who prefer or require to use????

There seems to be a shortage of men's clothing stores in my opinion, that being said Marshall's is the best addition they could have added to the mall. There really isnt much to say about it, slightly over priced food in the food court, which is usually filled with teenagers who scream profanities at each other constantly and they don't ever seem to get kicked out which is extremely irritating when you have a child especially. If security stepped their game up a bit it would be an overall decent place to visit.

Conventional enclosed mall that has had some success over the years replacing anchor tenants, though vacated Sears location is still empty. Otherwise nearly fully populated with the usual big mall stores. Well maintained & worthwhile if you are looking for a typical mall shopping experience.

Good selection of stores. It's very clean. They have had a need to improve their security theee for 20 years. People don't need to deal with all the egg heads at the entrances every day. There is clearly an issue in that respect. I think that upgrading them to a more serious and better equipped staff would help. The bew renovations are nice. Modern fixtures and open.

The mall looks better since the renovations but as far as malls go, it's boring. Having moved from Toronto, it was a huge disappointment. A lot of stores were closed due to the high cost of rent. There are more stores now so it's a little better. If you want to have a good mall experience, make the drive to Toronto or Ottawa IMO.

Good variety of stores but there constantly seems to be a group of kids that hang out near the main doors near the bus station that are always yelling or fighting. I generally don't see this at other malls and maybe it's because of it being a main transport hub but it seems to be the main hang out and I have heard from other people that it puts them off going. It also seems to be where many of them smoke and while they are away from the doors it still stinks.

Malls are going to be the victims of the COVID pandemic, which is unfortunate in some ways but good in others. At least people have to get a minute amount of exercise at a mall, as opposed to what replaces them when they are torn down and everyone drives from store to store.

I do like the smaller kiosques there but my favorite is Bath and Body Works. Love going there. My one complaint for the mall is not enough seating to rest for a few minutes throughout the mall and after shopping all day especially through the holiday season believe me you need it to catch your breath.

Soft moc needed more stock. By 230 they were sold out of over a half dozen shoe designs I asked if they had my size in. Naturalizer was able to fit me with a lovely pair of work shoes and I tried on a variety of shoes while making my decision. Thanks to all who helped. All staff were graceful under pressure!!

This review is based solely on the state of the bathrooms. Especially during covid times when everything is suppose to be extra clean, the woman's bathroom has continued to be disgusting. Dried Blood splattered across the floor and stalls during the beginning of December or vomit or some other type of fluid I'm seeing right now. Not all the opened stalls are usable being completely dirty and going to the bathroom outside would be cleaner.

I have already given a review of this before. Did they not like what I had to say, is that why they are asking for another review. The review would stay the same. I stated a fact about the very awkward layout of the store "Marshalls" not the store itself but the ridiculous fact you have to walk a small city block from the mall entrance (closest door from parking lot) to get inside the store itself. Why is there not a side door from this end of the store. I know security places a big part in this but hello the mall's answer to this was poor planning. If I'm going to walk such a long distance to just get in the store then on line shopping is going to get even more business. In other words, the mall is the reason Marshalls can lose business. The company that owns Marshalls should complain as this poor set up is on the mall.

Kingston's largest shopping center. 2 floors of stores, a large food court, spatious washrooms, wheel chair accessibility, a huge ample no-fee parking lot, with additional rooftop parking. Kiosks, chain stores, and a large atrium which often features special events. If your looking for the big city mall experience, this is the closest Kingston has to offer.

We stopped here to have dinner at food court with a 14month old baby. We tried to look for a high chair all over the food court space. We ask cleaning staff and they mention they didnt carry them cause of covid. Instead of having a cleaning process in place for high chair...they just decide to be lazy about it and not put any for the public use! Worst experience ever...

Went to shoppers drug mart for an Christmas present, so I decided to buy an Amazon gift card, paid 100.00 for it and gave it to father in law. At Christmas time he decided to activate the card and it did not work, I tried and tried but card was a dud. Called shoppers and they admitted that they had some fraudulent amazon cards and took some off the shelf but not all them. They will not do anything about it so DO NOT, DO NOT buy any gift card from shoppers drug mart they will screw you over and so will Amazon.

As others have noted, part of the mall is empty following the closure of Sears. Even with that, the mall is rather fill with businesses that more than make up the needs. HBC is still an anchor store. Overall, the mall has a modern look and is connected well by public transit. Bring far from the city centre is the real drawback.

If I could rate 0 I would. Every security guard here must really hate their jobs because everyone I’ve had an experience with has been very rude. If you try to take a sip of a drink you get yelled at to go to the food court. The older lady guard seriously yelled at me for trying to take a sip. Or if you have a medical condition and can’t wear a mask they will be rude to you. I suggest you take your business else.

A large suburban mall in Kingston Ontario. The mall has a layout similar to that of the Eaton Centre in Toronto, but is smaller and has a very good variety of stores by comparison. Among some of the more notable features, are the presence of a very large Hudson's Bay Company outlet in the mall. Currently, several parts of the mall are being renovated, making navigation between some parts of the mall quite difficult. As an example, the Dollarama in the mall is only accessible by a stairs and elevator that are specific to the single store. One other nice feature, is the parking lot on the roof, which is currently unused. There are some very impressive panoramic views of the city from the roof.
