I visited in July of 2017. It is a dream mall in upstate New York. The customer service is solid. The food court has nice options but it does feel like your going back in time to the 1980s and early 1990s.

I just saw on the news that they are working with peacekeepers and the police to enforce the under 18 rule where they have to be accompanied by an adult,well that’s not being done,I was there This past Saturday night,and there were plenty of under age kids,as a matter of fact there was a group of about 15 down in the newer section and the peacekeepers walked right by them,so how can you say you’re enforcing this policy

I haven't been here in probably 20 years. I like how comfortable they made it feel inside. Was really dead though. I was told my perception is a mistake and that there has been problem after problem with kids getting out of hand with fighting amd disruptive behavior. It's too bad. Could be a real go to for locals if they could clean it up.

First time visiting Walden Galleria since before the closure started. It felt weird walking into a mall owned by a management company that is suing over a dozen tenants for not paying rent when the mall was closed down by the state, but I had to get an engraved plate by Things Remembered. There was seldom a sticker on the ground saying that each side of the mall was one way for walking (which everyone was ignoring anyways) and at least 1/4 of the shoppers had their masks off. Absolutely no mall security, etc, to enforce anything. About 1/3rd of the storefronts were vacant. Not a safe shopping experience due to lack of any covid enforcement.

I love this mall. Much better than the malls in my hometown, rochester ny. Some stores seemed to be closed for the foreseeable future but I'd say it's only 20%. Still very much to do.

I enjoy this mall on week days and early Weekends. Its so beautiful around the holidays. There is a great variety of stores for young and old. If you do not like a very crowded shopping mall go early in the day when it opens on the week days. There is something here for everyone. From great food shopping entertainment and tasty treats. What to say about this mall. I didn't have a bad experience here. There's just too many stores! If you would want to go to most of them then I'd go in the morning and spend the entire day there because the mall is so big! We had specific stores in mind that we had to go to so it wasn't as bad. It is a great place to get steps in and a workout! I hadn't been to this mall in awhile, but nothing really has changed since I'd been there last. Perfect for days when you don't want to travel farther than you have to or would like because all the stores are right there!

Galleria as we call it is pretty nice. You'll find most of the major clothing chains & decent restaurants also. I try to avoid the hussle during busy hours & days (after 3pm & on weekends) I did stop in Macy's during Christmas season & was quite surprised at how quiet it was but it was during the time & a Tues. Covid really did a job on our stores in Buffalo & burbs. I order locally as much as I can to help out. Although I avoid the hussle & bussle, I'm looking forward to things getting back to normal. Please continue patronizing our local vendors.

My favorite mall ever in Buffalo, NY. I’ve been to Boulevard Mall in Amherst And Kensington Mall and they were nowhere near as great as Galleria Mall. The lighting in this mall is so bright and welcoming, big area, unlike the other malls. I don’t have to buy anything from here because I can just walk the whole mall, as long as I want with no questions asked. They have a lot of entertainment shops that are not closed or packed. It’s the best mall.

It's a pretty big mall with typical stores and anchors. The place is actually pretty full of open stores which is unusual and usually it's pretty clean. Some interesting stores here like Cabela's, best buy and a small game store break up the boredom.

Good sized mall for a mid-sized city. Great place to spend the afternoon on a rainy weekend. Restaurants, movie theaters, huge food court. Lots of the standard big box stores. We spent the day, had lunch and saw a newly released movie.

Get on your walking shoes, you're gonna need them! This mall is quite sizeable with just about any store you need inside. The added bonus is the Cheesecake factory (which still has curbside delivery, if you need to eat in a pinch. ) Theres also a Dave and Busters!

Not a bad mall its not too crowded but a lot of people eat in the mall when they tell them not too. Also saw more than a handful of people walking around don't wear masks properly or at all was a little uncomfortable. Other than that was a nice place to get some new clothes and such.

Had to go to get a homecoming dress and yes it was hectic, chaotic, what have you. But mall closes at nine and shops were shutting down by 7. Just consumer beware I suppose if you're an off- of- work -gotta -run after person like me. It was disappointing because I thought I had an hour or two to browse and patronage other stores.

The biggest mall in the area. Nice size food court with many different restaurants. This mall has other restaurants that is just across the parking lot as well as a few restaurants downstairs inside the mall itself. The stores range from medium prices to high-end. Like so many other malls there is no longer a Sears department store. You have a wide range of stores from budget friendly to very highend. It's hard not to find and be satisfied in finding what you need here.

Have not been there since Covid shut the mall down. I finally got back and was surprised at how much the prices went up. $3.00 for a bottle of Coke. $40. For PC games that are 19.99 online. Popit's at one store were selling for $40. Same thing online $17. Thought I was in NYC. I know things are more at the store compared to online but price went up a lot.

I avoid going here. Just roo big, too many stores. Not a very friendly crowd. I only go there as a very last resort. I do go to Best Buy there but that sorta sucks because there stock is so low and you can never get any help, no customer service. This is probably the only and most negative post that I have ever done.

Looks like the pandemic has taken its toll on some businesses here, but it seems the mall is poised for a comeback as more customers return. Still find it a pleasant place to walk, browse, shop, and get a snack or meal, especially when the weather outside is not ideal. Watched a great flick at Regal Cinemas, our first time at the movies in over 18 months! Definitely worth a visit.

Great mall! Never judge a book by its cover. Once inside this mall is big and full of stores and restaurants. I was there less than an hour and clocked over 7,000 steps. I will definitely go back to this mall! Multiple levels clean and big.

Now, this is a mall! There's everything under the sun here. The flagship stores and boutiques together lend to a great shopping variety. We had a pleasant walk through the concourse and stopped in to many of the stores looking for those "hard to shop for" people. Parking was no problems as well

This dave and busters actually had all the games working. That is my biggest complaint with dave and busters. All the games are broken but here everything worked. As well as they had all the ingredients for the drinks. This is the first dave and busters that actually had the strawberry cubes for the drink. All the other dave and busters need to follow example.

Its a comfortable place, if you're okay with walking. Currently with Covid-19, the benches are not for use. However, that's fine considering the food court is open, which has seating if absolutely necessary. Other than that, no complaints. It's a nice place to spend your day.

Not like it used to be, but physical retail is dying and most malls are on their last leg. The Galleria is fairing better than most but even here the stores come and go frequently, a lot of spaces are empty, and the options are not as high of caliber as they used to be. Still a nice place to walk around once in a while and there’s still plenty of stores and restaurants to chose from.

The mall itself is pretty nice and has a decent variety of stores. It's mostly clothing stores with a few places for entertainment (Dave & Buster's, the theatre, escape rooms, etc.) I would recommend avoiding coming alone though, as there's been some issues with large crowds coming in.

We went to Dave & Busters and will not return..the server doesn't check on anyone, there was an issue with 1 of the people in our party of 9 that didn't receive their food and upon looking at the order it never appeared on it..the floors are filthy and the staff brings the food out randomly and the food was cold..My party wasn't the only ones with conplaints..the manager did what he could to smooth things over ..

Its the go to mall when you have nothing going on. I personally, have no problems going to this mall. Theres many anchor stores to keep this mall around for longer than the eastern hills mall, the boulevard mall and the McKinley mall. Some stores come and go unfortunately. Like the dragon breath dessert kiosk (which was very cool btw), Brookstone, and that korean store that replaced Brookstones space. Another thing to note is if you decide to skateboard in the mall (which looks like the perfect mall to cruise in) you will most likely will get kicked out :/ Also one more thing to note is to make sure you lock your car and dont hang around the parking lot for too long. I have spotted people in the past looking into peoples cars from time to time doing some illegal "shopping". Other than that the galleria is a great place to go hang out with friends and spend money.

Like most malls in America, the Galleria has fallen on hard times. I've never seen so many empty shops. While there are still a few spots you can only find here in Buffalo, most people seem to be sticking to online shopping. The crowd sizes are small and the parking is easy to handle right now. Good place to go for a quiet walk with the family.

The Hot Topic inside is my go-to since I like to collect the pins they sell,also the employees are really fun to interact with :) the clothes there and in H&M are usually what I target, it's pretty big and looks better then loads of the malls I've been to, but definitely go there if you're visiting NY :) doubt you'll leave empty handed

Ordered curbside pick up the night before. Got confirmation texts. Said theyd be out w item in 5 minutes the next day. Waited 45 minutes. Went into the mall despite covid concerns and got attitude by an employee that they were not open (yet i have texts saying they were looking for me in the parking lot). The mall experience is always interesting. Some stores have better longevity. The Adirondack Hat Company is a great new addition. The mall would better serve it's patrons if they added seating to the second level. People shop on BOTH levels, but the benches are only on the first floor. There are very few seating areas on the upper level. Signage exists, but there are no directories. Either take the time to completely fill in the map, and make it mobile-friendly, or put directories back up. People, as in customers, could stand to be better behaved, as in don't be a rude a-hole in the food court or at the small vendors. Shoving past people and being inconsiderate of others really marrs the experience. And it's not the kids, it's the 'adults'. Being so close to the "City of good neighbors", I expect more from the patrons. You don't have to be from Buffalo to be a good neighbor, being considerate and present while you're shopping seems to be impossible for some people, especially close to the holiday season.

I loved visiting this mall. However the Subway at the Food Court needs to check their attitude. Servers tossed my food around like it was trash, I asked for water, she didnt include it in my order. She kept rolling her eyes even though I was just ordering, they don't need to act like they're doing me a favor by making the food that I'm going to pay for in the end. Terrible customer service. Wrapped my sub and tossed it on the counter like it was gross. I get bad days. But dont take it out on customers who didnt do anything to you

Just a good mall, doesnt over exceed, but doesn't under deliver. But that does stand out as a positive with close options like the Boulevard mall or the Outlets, The Galleria just offers much more. Besides high end retail stores and name brand products as again you would expect to get at a mall it has a great food court with a Billie Bees adjacent for all you parents that wanna shop, get the kids some fun and food right after. It includes a Regal Cinema, which once you enter you forget you are in a movie theater in the mall. And again for parents, Regal has a nice little summer event when the kiddos are out of school, movies are $1 I think, worth researching. And a nice touch is World of Beer, Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory, and Melting Pot...you can make a whole afternoon/night here.

This mall is not just a shopping center. It is an entertainment hub! There are amazing restaurants (Bravo being my personal fav!) And unique activities! There is multiple escape rooms/adventures, a movie theater, Dave and Busters, Billy Beez, a virtual reality rollercoaster, and so much more! This mall also offers special events including a trick or treat event that my nephews love. Amazing mall that is keeping current!

What a discusting disaster. I can not believe how dirty, unsafe and repulsive this place has become. My family and I went there to eat at the food court and never again. I saw at least 3 people who had guns in their waist bands. There was almost a fight, as we fled the the mall security was running toward the food court. When I got outside there was blood all over the sidewalk. The parking lot was dirty and filled with people drinking in their cars. Do not go here, do not take your kids here.

Love this mall. I've been going since it opened around 1989. I'm not sure why more retailers don't open here. For some reason developers feel that the strip plaza model is what customers want. Honestly, I would rather walk through the mall than run outside from store to store in rain, sleet, snow and slushy parking lots. This is Buffalo afterall and if it isn't June, July or August, you could encounter any type of weather. Sad to see retailers leaving for the strip malls instead.

Walden Galleria has easily become a convenient, and diverse shopping location for me. Since I'm a gamer, collector, and movie buff, places like Best Buy, GameStop, Think Geek, Box Lunch, Spencer's, Hot Topic, and FYE are my frequent destinations. I'm in the habit of going to Galleria in the morning, preferably on Saturday or whenever I'm off during the week. Prior to the pandemic, the food court and Jack Astor's were awesome eating locations, and bound to be once more in the future. While it's sad that other malls, such as Boulevard, Eastern Hills, and even Main Place, have phased out, replaced by the Galleria, Walden's is a growing hub. So wish there was a Barnes and Noble on site.

Vert good place to buy all things in one place if you are going from canada to usa and buy what you need. Beware restroom is at centre of mall and you have to search for it. It's fairly big mall and very crowded. Expect delays. Don't expect shops to be very big, but descent size and necessary things are there. Also don't expect to be very clean, forget covid protocols if you are keen on it.

This is one big shopping mall. They have most of the flagship stores. But I’m missing Nordstorm in here. It’s a two floor mall, and it’s vast to explore. They got some unique selection of restaurants in the food court. Restrooms are bit untidy. Not soo crowded. One of the places to kill our time. Don’t expect offers from stores here, as there are very few stores providing small offers.

The Walden Galleria (mall) provides a variety of stores for all ages including top of the line departments such as JCPenney, Best Buy and Macy's. The food court offers many delicious options including the all new Burger King! I like the modern look of the mall. The floors were redone and more stores are revamping and remodeling with more pleasing entrances and interiors. It offers entertainment too with a go-kart place, Regal Cinemas, and Dave and Busters (and many more!).

Each time I go shopping at the Walden Galleria, I have to stop by the Food Court for some Japanese cuisine. The "Oyishi Japan" food stall serves good food. I enjoy ordering their noodles with beef and chicken teriyaki combos with veggies. What's important/fun for me, was that the chef reheats/cooks the food on the spot, where it's visible.

Overcowded with a lot of rude, inconsiderate people. They don't abide by the mandate or any other policies such as not allowing minors under a certain age to enter without a parent or adult guardian. When I went there almost two weeks ago - the exit between the the former Lord and Taylor and Macy's - I observed a man mopping outside. Looking closely to see what he was mopping, I noticed a red stain . I asked a the person beside me what had happened and was told a security guard was attacked by six youths and stabbed to death the previous night. Strangely, I saw no reports on the local News of the incident.

I really like this mall but so much has closed. The bank, payless, world of beer, even tim hortons. This mall is going to close in a couple years I feel like it’s slowly declining. There’s 2 empty tenants. Sears lower level should be turned into like a sky zone or restaurants or even a marshall’s/Burlington/tjmaxx. If the old sears was a tjmaxx you’d catch me in here daily. i know tjmaxx doesn’t like to be in malls but they have the outdoor entrance to use when the mall closes. The food court is declining to no more arby’s, souvlaki brothers, or Sushi Q, and i think billy bees is gone. Skechers gone. The lower level by bravo is all empty stores. Need more to do in this mall not small pop up stores, we need big chains again. Hope to see the lower level of sears turn into something instead of it sitting empty. ADVERTISE it more Walden Galleria. If you are a covid freak, make sure to watch how the employees are at Auntie Anne’s. Many with masks down no gloves, laughing, talking. Very Unsanitary.
