This used to be a good Tops back when it was first built (and one of their very first 'organic' themed stores in the area) but it has completely slacked off and gone rolling down the hill into almost total chaos. Dirty floors, empty shelves, and VERY rude associates just contribute to the reason to stay out of this store. I even tried to take a leak and their Men's room was 'less' than satisfactory, if you take my meaning. And trying to report these conditions to store management results in just lip service and no action.

Not a bad little tops. Staff are usually pretty friendly. However. There is that one person that ruins it for everyone. Nice little sitting area for a quick lunch. Have had a lunch there a few times with my daughter. Nothing fancy but mostly clean. Deli people are usual very friendly and willing to help

Very clean shelves stocked fruits looked and smelled great. Meats were plentiful and had great cuts. Great deil selection, got to have my krunkus ham. They have a gluten free section, with a wide variety of international foods it's a chef's dream. All of these great qualities at a fraction of the competition. Shopping here is wonderful, until you get to the cash register to check out. I understand that they are short staffed; but it is always a long wait at the registers. And I don't do self check out, because I usually have too many items. Plus, I don't get paid to bag my own groceries, I want them bagged by the cashier. All in all though this tops is great for shopping and they are never out of any items I need.

The newly remodeled store makes the experience a lot nicer. Nothing has really moved, so it's easy to find things. Enough checkout lanes are always open and they even added more self-service lanes for a quick checkout. While this isn't my neighborhood store, it's always my go-to alternative.

This is a decent Tops, but not my favorite store. I like Tops in general but feel other Tops are a little cleaner with more helpful employees. Nobody gave me a hard time, but the other Tops generally have people engaging more and asking about a customer a little etc. But the prices are the same, so just because I feel only a few tops should be 5-star. 4 star is still good praise so just encourage employees and make sure they have fun and are well paid as management so they will be happy to work.

I like to support Tops. They have many great sales and a better selection of some products (like canned tomatoes) than Wegmans. However, I can never find decent lettuce there. (I prefer boxed spinach or mixed lettuces.) They are often outdated. The self scan machines are awful. I use them everywhere but that store has machines that constantly stop. It takes forever to check out. I will shop there only for particular items unless the checkout procedure improves!!!

It has good parking for the volume of stores it contains. I don't go there often due to how busy the roads are, but it has a good variety of shops. There's options for clothes, dollar stores, grocery, beauty supply, and more, so you are likely to find what you need.

Good variety of stores in one spot, the tops there however is pretty dirty. Bathrooms are never clean, service always has attitude and often there are issues with prices not matching once you get to register. So always keep an eye on what is ringing up and the prices. So there is Target on the opposite side of tops and they have groceries, better off going there or up the road to Wegmans. But the rest of the stores in that plaza are a good selection.

I love shopping here, I can always find what I'm looking for, my only pet peeve is I wish that they kept better care of their bathrooms and that the bathrooms were a lot cleaner and taken care of more frequently but overall I do like shopping here I usually just make sure I use the bathroom before I leave my house though!

This location is recently renovated, and the interior changes are a definite improvement. The inventory however quickly takes back any points gained from the renovations. The Produce Department was just sad, and although I understand we are in the midst of a pandemic, there is just no excuse for stocking the Department with wilted and in some instances moldy produce. This is a banana I found there this afternoon. ????????????

Tops is a convenient place to shop. They have a huge variety and a always stocked. You can expect to go there and get exactly what you needed. But the prices are a little to expensive. I will only shop here when they have good sales or I can't find what I need at price rite. I definitely prefer price rite.

Everything that you want is easily accessible and they rarely move items around. Once in a while their meat from the butcher shop is not that fresh and I had to return a package that went bad before the expiration date. They permit you to carry backpacks in at almost any hour since the theft detectors at the front entrance will alert them to any stolen items. The cashiers are friendly and helpful.

This Tops has a great produce section and the bakery is yummy too! The cleanliness of their bathrooms are not always up to par. Front end manager's should be more conscious of how quickly they can get dirty. The Carry Out Cafe make great subs to order. A dirty bathroom can deter customers from coming back.

Its tops you go in and buy groceries. There is no true overnight staff so if your a night shopper like me expect to hand scan a large order In self checkout. The staff is going through the motions most days with a few nice smiles at best. Any questions asked about particular products aren't very informative but I may just have more specific questions then the staff has on hand knowledge for. Overall like I said its a tops that you can get food at but don't expect an above and beyond experience anywhere.

I would have thought by 11am on Monday fresh produce would have been stocked. Tomato lettuce and mushroom choices were pitiful. The fruit was better. The frozen fruit was just a mosh pit all mixed together for some reason. But at least checkout was quick today. Nice clerk.

Though I live in the area I really prefer to shop at the Tops on Niagara street. Their a great store! I used to all the time when I worked downtown. Now I'm more or less forced to go to Elmwood because of location. Elmwood Tops lacks respect for its' customers, the staff prefer to talk to each other than take care of their customers - not to mention they are on their phones way too much while you stand there waiting for them to get done. Don't do the self checkout. If an error is hit you can take a nap while waiting for them to reset the scanner. On a positive note: the staff (Andrew) in the deli section always goes out of his way to ensure he provides good customer service!

Tops Elmwood is way to get in and out of due to the large parking lot and you can usually get a spot close to the store. Have yet to not be able to get close with a parking spot. I would be careful in this lot because there are some wacky people that instead going up and down the parking lanes they find it easier to cut between spaces to get to the other side of the plaza.

Top's is for Bonus Card and Coupons. Not for weekly shopping. You pay more for regular household items. Fruits and vegetables are overly priced. ALDI'S may not everything but their prices are very reasonable.

Tops, ridiculously overpriced, at least half of the employees are rude and unhelpful, self checkouts that always halt and delay as customers wait for attendants to clear endless errors, a lousy, disheveled restroom... Ugh. The nearby Dollar Tree is a style as well. There are better locations for both chains in town. They don't care here, though. Just let it fall apart and charge much more than Wegmans. Pet Smart in the plaza remains decent.

This review is strictly in regards to the butcher counter, any time I've ever asked them to do anything they always have an attitude. For instance if I asked to have a pork loin sliced up the guy said "we have sliced pork loin over there", or ask to have a roast ground up , "the ground beef is over there". Two times now I've caught the butchers trying to give me old megapack beef instead of ground roast yet charge the roast price. It's unbelievable ????

It's a great store. The produce is f resh and the meat and seafood are of great quality! The only thing is at peak hours you may have to wait in line for awhile. Even the self checkout gets congested at times.
