May stores are closed on a sunday which is not ideal. But Joujou hair salon is open?!?! I think that is great! But the plaza has potential for more that will really help the community. What about The Beer Store, a nail shop, food other than pizza pizza and little caesar's. Theres good real estate that the community can really take advantage of. Not these closed businesses.

Small but wonderful store. Very fresh selection in all departments. Hot food available again. Cheese dept is well stocked with knowledgeable staff. Sushi is very good! Bring own bags. Paper are 0.30 cents each. Plenty of parking.

Toronto's first Farm Boy is now open in this plaza, which is exciting news for the surrounding community that they now have a grocery store. Stuff will be priced at Loblaws prices. Otherwise there is a Dollarama, BMO and several other stores to serve your needs.

Now with the presence of Kettleman's Bagels opens 24/7 all year round, as well as Farm Boy and Dollarama, definitely help revitalize and increase traffic to this once nearly abandoned plaza, makes the whole place come alive! Lots and lots of free well-paved parking. Looking forward to see what other retail establishments are going to join in. If interested, I have posted a detail review of Farm Boy as well. Big improvement now regarding Alderwood Plaza with newly renovated store and opening of Farm Boy grocers a few months ago. Farm Boy has so much to offer!! Great meat, fresh produce, luscious bakery/baked goods and much, much more! The only drawback, still no restaurants in plaza, but Farm Boy offers eat in or take out for all customers.

This is a great plaza now that Farm Boy opened up. What a great store that is. It really elevated how I view this plaza. I will likely leave a separate review for farm boy but if you haven't been you should def check it out. Its super clean, great variety of products and faulty priced. Great small strip mall, close to where I live! Grocery store, pharmacy, dollerama, shoe repair and clothing alterations, and other stores! Nice extra large parking lot. Well lit at night. No undesirable people hanging out. Maibox for dropping your letters, for those of us who still do that, it's right in front of the Specialty RX pharmacy. Small convenience store with lottery, really nice friendly owners, husband and wife team!

Alderwood plaza is one of many old and dated Plazas with new tenants in the recent years to give it more.life and traffic in terms of walk-ins and vehicle traffic. This plaza has plenty of parking with wheel chair accessible spots including a grocery store and many exits to continue on your journey. It is a little confusing to get here as it shares with the funny intersection of East Mall, Evans and the Gardner Expressway. Some of its tenants include Dollarama, Farm Boy, and most recently Kettlemans bagel. Hopefully the landlord's decide to give the plaza a bit of a face lift and maintain the property to attract fresh new tenants and shopping options.

This Plaza has the recently opened Farm Boy grocery store. I am so glad to have this store close enough to shop now. There are many locations in GTA but not close to east Mississauga. I highly recommend this grocery store in this Plaza as they offer so many home meal options and a much better fresher bakery than most other grocery stores in the area.

As a local for over 25 years I've seen the changes with Alderwood Plaza, businesses came and went. But more recent years there has been positive growth within this plaza... At one point this plaza was hurting for business but that made room for new business opportunities. Dollarama came around and stayed. Now Farm Boy opened up shop there which is a good look. I've never seen the parking lot at Alderwood Plaza so full until now. There are some good businesses there now: there is a bank, grocery store, dollar store, variety store, and some other businesses. Great little plaza for the Alderwood community ????

This plaza is located in south Etobicoke in the village of Alderwood. At the bottom of HWY 427 and its where the locals go for all their shopping. Parking is free and you can even go to the Dollar Store to look for some good finds.
