Whenever I come here the staff is very nice, and are always helpful. I only come here when I visit my best friend, and overall the customer service is better than any of the stores where I live. Definitely my favorite place to shop at when I visit Ladner

This little plaza has just about everything one could want: a coffee house, an artisanal bakery, a butcher, a drug store, an independent book store, a fishmonger, a wine store. Plus, best of all, a Bulk Barn and a farmer's market! My husband and I live close and rarely need to go elsewhere for our basic and even not-basic needs. (I forgot to mention the gym! There's a 24/7 gym right next to the bookstore.) It could only be better with less congested routes in and out and a lot more greenery in the way-too-asphalt parking lot.

Nothing exciting going on here but it does have you covered for a number of goods and services. Feel like sushi? Head to Maguro (arguably the best in Ladner). Need some fresh bread? You can't beat Cobs. Craving produce that's better and cheaper than Safeway or Save On? Shop at Kin's. Want to support a real life book store? The folks at Black Bond Books know their s**t. Hungry for a quick bite? Fresh Slice and Chopped Leaf are practically next door to each other. (Though, to be honest, Fresh Slice has gone downhill since they opened. Hopefully it's under new management. And I'm not mentioning Fat Burger here because I've never been there. I mean...it's called Fat Burger!) Lots of other honourable mentions but you'll just have to experience the magic for yourself.

Has a good selection for a little strip mall in Ladner, with ample parking. You can buy a book, get your insurance, pick up fresh vegetables, meat, or fish for dinner and pick up a new toy for your favourite furry, feathered, or scaled friend, all without having to get back in your car!

Very expensive and pushy with selling you extras, even a small visit results in someone coming out from the back with a handful of something that will end up costing you well into the 100+ range! Be sure to know what it is your pet needs because if you do not, they will push for you to buy. The appointment wait times are horrible, you end up waiting 20-40 mins past the appointment time. For a place that charges as much as they do and pushes unneeded extras on you, one would think they would at least make an effort to keep on time.

Not exactly a square but still good. They've got a bunch of shops and spaces to park... Parking spaces I think they're called... But whoever thinks this structure is square is ignorant towards basic shape theory. Sides too long to be a square. I think there's a right amount of corners though so that's good. Plus 2 Starbucks :)
