Ah yes, Cranbrook's biggest and most famous mall. Where stores change like the seasons. Tiny mall, though might be too big for the town, with all the stores changes. You'll walk through it in a minute. But if it has what you need, it's the place to go in Cranbrook. Just watch for the drivers and speed bumps.

This mall isn't particularly exciting. They don't have much for a food court and they don't have any really interesting vendors. You can't expect a whole lot for a very small city, but it does have a movie theatre. The mall was outdated, but it's undergoing a well-needed renovation.

Not that many people. If you are driving by (picking up more camping gear) and just want to post some picks with wifi you can park just in the parking lot and get the wifi while someone else does the shopping (if you have kids like we have you wouldn't want everyone going in for 1 or 2 items).

Why the 2 asian restaurants side by side and no coffee shop? Yes Tim hortons is in the parking lot, but retail 101, keep your customers inside so they spend more money.. And the Landmark Cinemas is in serious need of an overhaul on audio, staff, and hygiène, truly disgusting. Overpriced, dirty, rude staff, ripped seats, speakers blown and paper towels over the entire bathroom. Gross.

While it isn't the major city center like in say Vancouver or Calgary, I like to visit the Tamarack because of the friendly atmosphere and the Winners almost always has some cool items up for grabs. I also really like the Eastern Wok for their good food. All in all it can be a really great place to meet up with friends and family.

I've known it since Woodwards was an anchor store, and when the only places you could catch a movie were downtown or at the drive-in. As a shopping centre it's had its ups and downs, but now even with a Walmart and a Superstore in town it's managed to hang on and remain viable. It worth checking out. ????
