This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
Not so fancy, the basics, the everyday shopping in a hurry, not so busy, clean, small, only the essentials, gym , dollar store, IGA.
Nice small mall. Good kosher food.
it's a clean place , but it can be an exciting place too , it isn't though , it's good for eldery people , but the cote saint luc population is growing and most of them are young couples , need business that attend to their needs . the wifi is awful , dosen't work everywhere
a whole block of hotshots driving porchas thinking they are better then every1 else
Mall is becoming dead, but the only reason you would be going there is because you want to go watch a movie, eat something quick at the food court , go to Pharmaprix, or just go shop for groceries at IGA
Good place to shop. Has a food mart. Big IGA. Acess to CLSC as well.
Nice little mall that has almost everything you need
Most kosher restaurants in one shopping center in Montreal!
A nice shopping mall in this neighborhood. Is not very crowded but the supermarket is big and well sorted. Many kosher products.
Mall has all I need. However, I sure miss the good all days when Canadian tire / Eaton’s & Music World were here.
Good cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the gym. A lot of weights and machines available. A bang for your buck.
This Is The Bus 104 STM
We go for the cheap retro movies shown at the cinema.
Not crowded. Theater, supermarket, boutiques, Pharmacie, health claub, banks, Gas station, Children's play park, Wow.
What can I say about the Cavendish mall other than it's been stripped to its bones over the years. Besides the pharmacy and IGA there are a stores here and there but, as the days turn into yours they dwindle away. Eventually leaving a small Bank run by a city called the Dominion of Toronto.
Kosher food court
There is nothing to do if your not going to Dollar Cinema but sometimes you can find good deals.
It's an ok mall in a suburb. The IGA is the tent pole of the place.
I like iga in this mall. They have a lot of different choices in a different products. They sale good milk products for kids
I was disappointed when I went there the other day, it is not as roomy as I remember , it had a lot more stores (boutiques),the only nice store is the IGA and there are plenty of them elsewhere. Sorry it is not my cup of tea.
Despite the radio ads claims, this mall really had very little to offer, unless you like bizarre ethnic shops selling random stuff. And the 'lively foodcourt' the ad promises? Not unless you think a bunch of geriatrics makes for a lively atmosphere. It does have a cinema, but unfortunately, the customers are lacking the most basic skills in manners or etiquette. It has a miniature train for children that runs only on the weekends, driven by an old Frenchman who soul has apparently been crushed long ago, and enjoys making it difficult to board. As bad as this mall is, you ought to experience it just for these miserable things for a good chuckle.
Sad I wanted to check if still have my favorite muffins place that's Mmmmmuffins.... It closed already. That's the sad part of it.....
Small mall for octogenarians. Does have a movie theatre and good food court I suppose.
Large pharmacy. Good grocery shopping at the IGA. Car pick up for groceries. Parking available. Small boutiques inside the mall. Many hair salons. Movie cinema , bank and a bagel store.
Some stores are really good, the food court has Kosher food. My friends go there. I go to IGA and Pharmaprix and use the TD Bank. I can meet my friends there for coffee and there are movies there. I miss the larger parking lot. It's a pretty good place for a small mall.
Not much going on in this mall. Mainly just elderly people walking around. Good place if shopping for kosher food. Not a very busy mall which is nice if you don't like crowds.
Very convenient, since I live in the neighbourhood, for food, pharmaceuticals, banking, dollar store, also bakery items, some clothes and shoes, magazines, books, hair cuts and styling, gifts, shoe-maker, hearing and optical needs as well as CLSC, medical clinic, bridge club, dance classes for kids, martial arts classes. Grateful that we still have these stores and services in our neighbourhood!
Shopping Center for Jews and old people. Food court is more expensive than any other shopping center and not that much variety anyway : no Italian, no Asian. On a plus side, TD Bank is open even Sunday.
From Manager a bad customer service. Too bad if they only allow us to eat what they are selling. For someone with food allergies there are not options. I have my own food but I was not allowed to bring it with me.
Quiet shopping mall with many amenities. The food court has a variety of options including many kosher meals.
Quiet
This mall sucks beyond belief. It is not really a shopping or entertainment destination. It's an old age home. The only store with any semblance of life is IGA. At this stage they should just demolish the entire thing. There's a small movie theater with sticky floors and dirty seats. A pharmacy that is overpriced with horrible service. A bunch of other random stores with no customers and outdated goods. Stay away unless you need an overpriced grocery store with a kosher section.
Love it :) You should try "Jerusalem Express" in the food court And the Art-Hive/ media Spa EngAge is definitely a place to spend some time. I personally spend five hours every Sunday.
It's a pretty sad little mall. Good if you need something and you're close by.
Our first experience there. It was a simple, nice shopping mall . Friendly client/customer service. Affordable prices.
Typical small shopping center. Parking is a little difficult in the front parking lot but plenty of space in the back.
Nice food court and movie theatre. Not the same as it was in it's heyday.
There aren't many shopping options in this mall. Mainly local shops. But it has a good Dollarama store, a Pharmaprix and IGA.
Like many North American malls this has seen better times. The IGA is the anchor food retailer with a decent deli and bakery with good kosher sections. Service is good
Theres an SAQ at this mall so that is the only highlight really haha joking. As well as pharmacy. Dollar store. Sushi. Grocery store. Very basic mall, kinda depressing.
This used to be a hip place. Now there are less stores, needs some updating. Good movie theater, food court, grocery store & pharmacy.
Rude locals, treat other shoppers like they are an inconvenience.
Tired mall. Food court very pricey. Stores not very appealing. Pro: parking is good as not many people come here!
Kind of a shabby mall. Small, old theatre that should def have discounted tickets but for some reason doesn't. Not my fav.
The theatre we were in was quite small as was the screen. I'm quite short and could barely see over the chairs. They should either be shorter or the floor should be in more of an incline.
Older place but ok for what it is.
Very small but you have IGA, Dollarama, Mcdonalds, Dominos Pizza
I went there at the cinema and the security guard tried to accuse of being the black kid that tired to steal something the day before... I guess racism is not over yet... Plus it was my first time being at that mall. SMH I didn't even enjoy my movie becouse of that
Good to walk around on cold day. Ralph's is the only reason I go there.
Big enough parking space, all kinds of snack, IGA, Scotia and Canada Trust banks and cinema also.
The theater is, at least, not too crowded most of the time.
Went for chanukah candle got even more.
Great place for your everyday shoppings. Big IGA, pharmacy, postal office and some clothing/banking/bakery places. If you live in the area you can pretty much do everything in one place.
Highlights are CLSC IGA Pharmaprix Dollarama and an old school cineplex movie theater.
Maxie's bakery has great food inside this mall
It's a shopping center with a good variety of stores. Not much else to say.
Cute shopping mall for grocery shopping and a few clothing stores. Also has a movies theatre and a food court
Small mall, convenient, but not many store choices..
Small Mall, disappointing variety of stores. Lots of parking space.
All are here Groceries like IGA. Pharmaprix you name such a convenient mall. Everything you want are near one stretched grab. Ha ha awesome and convenient
Nice little mall but not much there..the gym is great..
Nice small mall More Restaurant options would be nice
Very nice mall with lots of great stores that are always clean
It's clean and inviting. There aren't many " popular " stores here necessarily but what they do have is good and can keep one's attention via window shopping. There is a Dollarama necessarily which personally I could spend quite a while shopping in the Dollar store because well, obviously it's cheap and a variety of everyday to day things one would need... or want, lol. Many little events that happen for kids, like a mini zoo or the train that takes you around the mall. Along with the many sole animals you can ride for a dollar. There's an indoor playground as well, so it's a great place for families. Restaurants and cafe's and the IGA is gigantic and has a good selection and variety. Would definitely recommend a visit to this mall especially if you have children.
This mall is bad please avoid this place at ALL COSTS ITS extremely depressing
Nice place, not a lot op options in the food court though
What they have is limited but good. Fine collection of kosher restsurants
This is a busy mall with a number of large and small stores, including a large supermarket, a pharmacy, and a cinema. Of special interest is the large number of kosher food options throughout the mall.
Mall closes too early on Friday (8PM), including the food court, and movie theater is deserted at this time.
What can I say. A dying mall. Only things there of note are a Pharmaprix, IGA, Dollarama, CLSC and 2 banks. Glorified strip mall. But it serves the neighbourhood of Cote Saint-Luc.
It's walking distance and covers the basics with IGA, drug store, banks, gym and Gas station movie theater
Its a very usefull mall in cavandish because of Dollarsma, IGA and pharma stores. Also have food court for gathering. Its very important for Cavandish neiborhood. Actually, before moving, I was warned for this area which is difficult for buying stuffs and far from stores. Its totally wrong. I really like my home and this mall as well.
Not many vendors but you will find all that u need. Plenty kosher items at IGA
Basic groceries, pharmacy, and good food courts, and great option for kids
Great mall with availability of kosher food from the grocery store and also from the food court.
Place has so much potential… real shame… ever since McDonald’s closed down, everything has gone down hill… now that the movie theatre closed, I can’t see how they’re going to stay open for much longer
Well defended, old and catchy
Love the Shmall. The IGA has a lot of choice, and J&R Kosher Meat is high quality. I enjoy the food court, especially the pizza place and the New Jerusalem shawarma, but it can be really crowded at noon, especially Thursdays and Fridays.
It's clean and has a subways, Dollarama, IGA, pizza place ect. It's close to a parc so you can buy a few snacks and then relax at that park. Not to mention that's it's right next to multiple bus stops making much easier to go there.
Fun place better then Rockland I remember when it had its hay day and use to be bigger but still fun for a quiet stroll around the mall
I have known this place since i was a little girl
Complete shopping center. From grocery to food, clothes and fancy to medicine. In the same building
Greatest mall ever, totally not considered a dead mall. Also rip to the other half of the mall that got demolished 10 years ago.
Nice place. Nice people.
Nice clean mall, not main popular chain stores, but you can still find what you need, really good toy store
This area goes to sleep too early and absolutely nothing is going on. Maybe if they open up Cavendish Blvd. more people will consider this area more often when shopping or going out for a film.
Nice to have a grocery store along with other stores and a food court, plus things for children to climb on, and a children's train too. :)
Cavendish Mall has severely gone downhill. Store selection very poor and expensive. IGA in Cavendish lineups along with very poor car order lineups to pick up your orders need for improvement.
Big enough for locals. Nice and clean. Movie theaters aren't clean. Certain restaurants take cash only.
Okay mall, great location, but the bathrooms are always filthy. Also, there is only 1 non kosher restaurant. Personally, I think Quartier Cavendish would be better with a Walmart, Tim Hortons and Maxi instead of IGA. Also, this mall is very small because they took off half of the mall for houses. This mall would also be better if it was bigger like before.
Is a little Mall you don't have too many choice only Winners store
I am not very impressed with this mall. Couture options are just alright, even the food options are just alright. Highlight of the mall would be movie theatre, Pharmaprix and IGA. Overall it is a good place to run weekend errands than mall.
It's quite cozy, the mall is not that busy. It's kind of small but offers necessities(Pharmaprix, IGA, Dollarama, Subway, other small restaurants, and bakeries[kosher too], salon, TDbank, Scotia Bank. I just hope a cinema will come here and …
When i go To this place i Feel depressed and have a sudden urge to pee sitting down
It's a simple, not over-crowded mall which manages to carry with it the community feel that makes Côte Saint-Luc the place that it is.
Such a classic spot if you grew up in the neighbourhood. I’ve had the chance to work in one of the stores at this great mall before it closed down. Hope to see this place continue to grow & see my kids enjoy it as much as my brothers and I did! Shoutout to the OG pirate ship we all miss! #ifyouknowyouknow
It's got everything you need! Except a good coffee shop!
Oh the shmall. Very nostalgic... used to go there all the time during lunch when I was in high school. It’s half the size of what it once was but it still has a lot of kosher options for restaurants and grocery shopping. Also has an older movie theatre, a pharmacy and a coles.
Privately owned mall most stores don't take credit cards. Mall for senior citizens
The mall was never a good shopping experience because of lack of support by the local public. It has gone through a number of challenges with IGA and Pharmaprix being a mainstay. The Cinemas are still there but don't know if they are at the same level as the larger Cinemas to charge regular prices. The food court is a mix of major chains and local Jewish favourites.
Great mall and good food court. The cinema has comfy seats.
Please visit, you can find lots of discount here
This is a great place where I enjoy shopping, specially the IGA where I can find anything I am looking for in the big variety of Kosher products that they carry.
Wow! I love to hang out in the food court here and check out all the fine, older gentlemen that frequent this place.
nice place to shop
Sad place. IGA is a total rip off everything is double priced and the mall is depressing.
This place is often pretty empty and kind of depressing. The only reason why I go to this mall is because of the movie theatre.
Nice place with so many kosher options. Great mall!
This mall has many good shops and stores, and a movie theater. If you are near it's well worth the visit.
Looks like heavens waiting room but cleaner than I remember when coming here as a kid. Despite it being an ok place, if you don't live in the area, there is absolutely no need to come here.
It's a small mall, there's nothing much here really but there's a cinema, a dollar store and supermarket. There's even a gym and CLSC so it has pretty much what you basically need for a small mall.
It is a small indoors shopping center with a big IGA, fast food area, movies, large parking area, and other stores. It is very convenient for the Cote Saint Luc residents.
Theatre, food , shops of all kinds. Nice small town atmosphere!
Pool, 3 baseball fields and a huge park sometimes there’s sheep to pet
The food court is pretty good, but the atmosphere is depressing
Poor eating facilities. Stores constantly closing. Mall needs renovation and improvement. Only one good clothing boutique for women, Delevanti. Parking lot very poor.
I like the mall, especially after 6pm when it's quiet and great for shopping at the supermarket. I do believe that the mall will transition as the young people move into the neighbourhood.
Not much to do but they have all the practical things and a movie theater.
Good mall for the family with good restaurants
Clean and quiet space. But on Saturdays some stores are closed.
Have hearing aids from Masala serviced here.
Small shopping mall with a few nessary stores like grocery (overpriced), pharmacy a gym and a food court
This mall has mostly hair salons and small clothing stores. I find the prices are high and the items aren't very good. There are a LOT of old people and strange people.
With a gym and movie theatre ..it is a great place for all needs
My work place it's a lovely place to relax and shop.
Not too much stores now and not so clean
Old mall.. pretty standard there’s no special stores there.
Some good stores, but lot of closures every year, because of rent issues. You never know if your store is still open.
You can get kosher food here
Might be a nice mall for some, however we found it 'boring' for lack of a better word.
Brought kid to visit animals, kid love it. IGA is good eough for buying nice food. Convenient mall~
Just another mall
It's quite a dead mall if you ask me.
Sells 5% vapes at a cheap price
Serves the local community since the 70's... now IGA..Pharmaprix, Dollarama..etc. Useful but not unusual, the great days of the Cavendish Mall are gone. It was a meeting place for young, old and bored. Much much smaller, it will continue to address the needs of an aging population. The CSL shopping center is more vibrant than this but comes from an even older build. I revisit once a year but gravitate to the other one.
It's a decent shopping center with a grocery store, pharmacy, movie theatre, dollar store, eateries, and a number of other shops but nothing to really set it apart from any other center.
Horrible shopping center unless you wish to find an 80 yr old to fall in love with
This place has gone very downhill over the years. The only places that are worth your time are; iga, dollarama and pharmaprix. There are a few clothing stores that don’t look like they are such great quality. Half of the mall was broken down a few years ago so that the nice houses could be built. There is also a movie theatre which I would not recommend since the seats are not comfortable and most of the time there are noisy teenagers in your movie.
Great ???? ???? mall to shop
Went here to see a movie. Plenty of parking, not crowded, and pretty clean. There are quite a few nice shops here, including a bakery and a food court.
There is no big attraction here - no "anchor tenant" to attract people, so it's normally only people from the neighborhood who bother to go there.
5 stars for the kosher selection and all the services banks, gym, pharmaprix, IGA, $store etc... Besides this it's a dead mall a real seniors attractions ????
Just IGA, big Dollarama,, in Pharmaprix you can't charge OPUS , no cash back... McDonald's is so small, no slash!!! May be great for kids 3-5 years old, train +play grand.
It's got a great movie theaters an IGA good food core
Has huge IGA, many many restaurants, huge place.
Quick necessity mall. Groceries, pharmaceutical needs, banks, hair salons and a few clothing stores are located here.
Today, I was at the mall shopping for some gifts at Ralphs clothing centre. I just stepped in. I hear from the owner "You're too fat. We don't have your size." I brushed it off since it didn't bother much. I said:" I might be shopping for my son." And he replied disgustingly: "He must be fat like you." Then I said he should grow up. Then he insulted me first. And then he ran to the front of the store saying: "I'm going to break you in pieces." And still calling me fat repeatedly. I told him that if you touch me and you'll see what I'll do. So I left the store while the coward owner was still shouting fat. Please if you ever go to this store, do not come ever again if you encounter a similar situation with rudeness and hatred. Thank you.
Very family oriented mall but people are not too friendly here. Specific target market
It's pretty much empty lots of old people walking around it's a sad place I guess if you want to pick up depend undergarments this is the place to go if you're over 70 woohoo
Too many empty stores. "McDonalds" & "Muffins" gone...closed up last year. More closures on tap. Food store IGA is top retailer; excellent food choices- my arugula salad essential always on tap. The crowded parking situation due to offices in the complex; CLSC med. services; nearby apartments using spaces. Looks busy in parking lot but retailers hanging around the entrances of their stores.
Nice place, good both for shopping and spend some time
Sad sad no pepple can not sit anywhere
More and more empty stores. Not much choose for shopping. Clothing stores are super expensive. Nice movie theatre. Food court doesn't offer many options.
Nice group of stores. Spots in The handicap parking near the IGA are too small for a wheelchair to get in and out of the vehicle
ñice place to meet people. great place for seniors to have a coffee or whatever and chat with their friends. some nice shops and a very nice iga
Nice little neighborhood shopping Center , but a far cry from its heyday as the Cavendish mall .. iga , dollarama , bank , pharmaprix and a few other stores... just saw the cinema will reopen soon , that's good news... no other cinemas in the west end since it closed , except angrignon
I go there because of 3 stores I use regularly but ignore the rest
A miniature upscale mall that caters to its illustrious Jewish community and non-Jewish residents. Lost a good part of its mystique back way in the Steinberg Era. Prefer better to the Rockland Mall :P
There are always a some one or something interesting to caught your eyes love it
I would like to see more of a security presence there while going on patrol, because of the senior citizens who go there. I had to deal with some young man skate boarding constantly while I was seated at the food court eating.
Nice place for kids, not a great mall if you're looking for shopping. Although, they have an amazing food court.
The Cavendish Mall was the place to shop......now it's not that way.....hope for more new stores.
Clean good food and shopping options. Super clean and friendly staff.
It is an ok mall not that many good stores a bit of rip off clean good food
This place used to be a great meeting center. Now, it is completely dead.
I haven't been to many malls lately but this place is near the end of its life, a lot of places are closed inside, it's pretty barren so if you want to go to the IGA or maybe the food court there's not much in there.
This place may be literal purgatory given the average age of its clients and their general demeanor.
Good bakery. Very small food court and theatre. Nothing if large interest if not in area. Pharmaprix and IGA.
Impossible to find parking! Overall, it's a run down mall and we only went there for J&R Kosher and then after their quality dipped, we plain and simple stopped going there.
Convenient although not the place to go if you want to have a variety of popular stores to browse. More a community center.
