You'll obviously find your basic needs for your household. If they don't have what you need they'll order it for you. Customer service is there satisfaction.

One of two grocers in Churchill, the other is a privately owned smaller business so the selection isn't quite the same. Prices reflect the fact we live in an isolated post, so they are definitely higher than anyone looks forward to paying (IE: $22.99 for a small boneless ham, $12 for a pineapple) But the staff are great and it's well organized.

For a grocery supermarket in an extremely remote area, I was impressed by the selection considering the supply chain circumstances. It was extremely pricey, but that is what you pay in an extremely remote part of the world. Where else could you buy a snowmobile, groceries and boots under the same roof...

Running a well stocked general store in remote communities is a challenge. The store in Churchill is doing a pretty good job considering the challenges.

Kevin, the general manager, has really cleaned the place up. We shop here for bulk items and some other cheaper day to day items as well. Ask for the signature MacDonald treatment.
