At first I wasn't sure if anyone worked at this store. After finding what I was there for I got the attention of a manager and recieved great advice and recommendations. These 2 individual's were very helpful with my purchase and are the reason I would return for future needs. Unfortunately the younger staff was much more interested in wandering the store and checking hangers rather than helping customers, even when they are trying to dig out a bike from the display.

Prices are high unless you can get something on sale, customer service is hit or miss on getting someone good. One clerk advised a flat pair of gym floor shoes for walking outside? Often out of sizes, and they say to drive to other store or order online. Last pair of sneakers wore out in 4 months. Pair before that guaranteed to fit caused blisters at first wearing.

Short staffed with employees lacking customer service skills. Took more than 20 mins to get the proper size in the shoes already chosen. After paying for my shoes, the employee tells me that I could've gotten $25 if I had spent $5 more. I told her that I'll go get something quick and she tells me that I can't; that I'd have to go to the end of the long line which I couldn't because of lack of time. How about telling your customers the promotions before completing the transaction rather than after?!

I ordered a pair of Merrel hiking shoes from Sport Check shortly after Covid19 shut the community down. They arrived in a timely manner. Approximately 1 week. I had not purchased anything from anywhere and had not left my home or had anyone in my home due to covid19. About 1 week after receiving and wearing my shoes I had bed bugs. I know for a fact the bugs were on the shoes. I emailed the company to advise them and naturally they did not deny or confirm that there would be a possibility. I will never purchase anything from them again and I suggest you don't either, or you may be going through what I am now!!

I was hesitant to visit during peak Christmas busy-ness however my trip to Sportchek a few days before Christmas was effortless and extremely enjoyable due to the wonderful staff that helped me. Kayla on cash helped me on the phone prior to visiting, jumped into action when she overheard me trying to explain to her coworker what I needed help with even though she had a few moments of downtime in between huge lineups and rushes as she had remembered the phone call from hours before and was absolutely wonderful when I finished up and got to her til. The gentlemen in the shoe department were also extremely helpful but Kaylas excitement to make a stressful time of the year just ever so slightly more easy (and entertaining, I don’t usually like carrying out conversations with staff but she truly made me laugh!) for a random lady mid-day exemplifies the great customer service provided at Sportchek Chilliwack. I have never been more satisfied with retail employees at Christmas time!

Unprofessional service shop. An aptitude of a technician was awful including manger. They did not listen about a issue of my bike. They just kept saying that is not problem when I picked up my bike. It was completely wasting time to get a service at Chilliwack location. The issue was fixed at Burnaby location before, so I know what is wrong. But they do not care what I said.

I needed shoes and talked to Alex in the shoe department. Despite being busy with multiple customers he greeted me and put up with all my questions. So friendly and polite. So rare these days to find good help. I would definitely go again for shoes or there other products. I dread shoe shopping but Alex in sportcheck Chilliwack shoe department was a perfect fit.... Punn intended!

Fabulous staff that constantly checked up on me. The size I wanted was not available at the store but they offered to check every other store in the lower mainland for availability. They were attentive and very helpful towards my needs. I came away with items I wasn't planning to purchase but really the staff was the main reason why I purchased more. Everyone that helped me was fantastic, I can't ask for more.

Would be cool if all stores that allow walk in shopping to have an actual automatic hand sanitizer instead of a manual pump one like this isn't the Stone age and the stores actually pretty premium so when I see this manual hand pump for hand sanitizer I think this store is to CHEAP and UNSANITARY like what can't invest on people's safety for health ??? Cost to much for selling products at a premium price seem like they're just in the biz for the cash and not your safety. Finding a new sport store.
