New Dollarama to Hope BC July 2020. Plenty of good quality products for reasonable prices, especially for garden items, workout gear (yoga mats, resistant bands), bicycle gear and pet items. They also carry all the usual house-wares, camp gear, cleaning products, etc. To avoid congestion, aisles are clearly marked one-way, and there is a limit to number of people in the store at a given time. Some staff were masked up, others were not. Generally I'm not keen on the usual dollar store 'junky' offerings, but was impressed with many of their good quality items, like these solid ceramic plant pots and 'bobble' mushroom decorations.

Staff is friendly and helpful, this store was unique as it has 5-6 self check out tills. First time I've ever seen that in a Dollarama. Whatever you do, dont go on a sunday! It was super busy.

Sterling Mall Dollarama has really improved from its generally boring, dull and out of style look/scene from it's past years to become more appealing! From the checkout to the isles there's more organization, selection and it looks much cleaner fresher and improved in many other ways, both small and large. Just got scamed When me and my brother were at dollarama we bought this slime that we hoped would be good because we seen videos of people with the same slime and it looked really amazing, but when we opened it, it wasn't sented and I couldn't poke it and it broke apart when we tried to stretch it. So they copied the packaging from a totally good slime and put in a horrible slime just so people could buy it. ????????

This store is located where their is lots of parking and it is located on all the bus routes. The prices of the goods are reasonable. This store has a nice selection of merchandise to. The aisles are wide enough to give a shopper a pleasant experience when they walk around and browse anywhere through out the store. The staff are pleasant and helpful if you need their assistance. The line to the cash register is long at times but the wait to pay for your purchases is exceptable. I believe a 5 Star rating for this store is in order at least in my opinion. Happy Shopping!

The story has good quality items for their prices. Compare frames from Walmart to Dollarama and it'll probably surprise you to know dollarama wins. The reason for the two stars though is the attitude of two of the older women on staff. Their behavior on our last visit really made me question if I even want to go back there. They gave my husband and myself ugly glares as if they loathed our very existence. Yes, it was THAT noticeable. Yes, "we" were causing trouble but ONLY because their system was offline to our card company apparently and THEY HAD NO IDEA how to fix it. They didn't even register mentally that was the problem, they assumed that "system" meant our card and not their computers. SO, logic states you give your customers seething frowns when said customers try to explain that their card had JUST worked elsewhere before coming by. They blamed us and totally tuned out what we were saying about what we observed was wrong. They were passive aggressive and rude, even when we left the counter to try and call the bank and let them continue on with other customers, they kept leering in our direction with their horrid stink eyes. Recalling the catastrophe they call customer (dis)service has me all steamed up, I am SO displeased with the service there. When we went to Walmart after to get what we needed, THEIR service was incredible. And our card worked just fine. We spent twice the amount but we were treated kindly, with respect.

I love this dollarama. I only wish the store would enforce the directional arrows for the aisles and proper face mask wearing. The aisles are close and I don't think anyone thinks about the direction they are going, it's really annoying especially when we are trying to keep COVID numbers down. We need more signs everywhere educating people on proper face mask wearing as well. If it's not covering your nose it's not effective. I find this store particularly bad for not following guidelines.

Dollarama in Elliot Lake is a nice large store that is well stocked. I think there could be a better set up in the way the aisles are configured and it could be a cleaner store (ie. floors, windows etc).

I find this place to be decent. The staff are friendly and you never know what you are going to find. Unfortunately, I do find there to be a lot of open and broken products and like all/most dollar ramas these days it is crowded and hard to navigate. I highly suggest taking your time and look high and low to find the best deals in the best condition.
