This A&W is actually quite nice, I really appreciated it when they let the greyhound bus stop there, they'd even open up their doors for the bus patrons in the middle of the night. Now that's awesome service. Anyhow, there's no greyhound stopping by there nowadays and today I just went through the drive through to grab my son some fries. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Their beef burgers are good however their chicken burgers aren't the best. They aren't crunchy and don't really have a taste. It feels like useless calories. I Definitely recommend the beef burgers over the chicken burgers. The fries are ok over it's just like any other A&W. It's kept really clean. I saw one of the employees clean the glass twice from dirty fingertips. The ground is clean despite people walking in with muddy shoes. It would have received a 5 star but the chicken burgers have no taste.

OMG...they have root beer milkshakes now!! Pair that up with one of their decadent sugar covered apple pies and you have yourself a very nice treat to satisfy any sweet craving. I haven't tried their bison burger limited time special yet but bison generally is excellent...like very lean ground beef. So I have no doubt their bison is good. Give me a Teenburger anytime though... especially when on sale frequently for $3.50 cdn.

Even despite the pandemic, Randy has kept the A&W open for take out at the drive through. For a while we were able to dine in and appreciate the newly renovated interior, which is very nice. The burgers, fries and onion rings are all delicious, we having ordered takeout there earlier this week. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, like the owner and it is a real pleasure to go there. Today was just a coffee run yet the staff were cheerful, friendly and prompt. Nice to go to a place where you are remembered and appreciated. For their extra efforts to stay open in these trying times and still be terrific people, I give a rare 5 stars. Update December 2021: A&W continues to amaze with their service. New furnishings, a new coffee bar service and more effective plexiglass shields between tables. All this despite operating during a pandemic. Dining in is a pleasure as you are assured that everything is cleaned and sanitized while everyone, including customers, are double vaccinated and masked.

Unfortunately, this A&W has a few staff members that are utterly rude, time and time again, so you know it’s not just a bad day. The food is often not fresh, and don’t even bother asking for a Beyond burger, the “10 minute wait” is more like 17. (I timed it.) At that point, it’s the only time you receive a fresh burger, but the fries will certainly be soggy. Just comparing to all the A&W restaurants I visit, this lacks any qualities to rave about, other than it’s among the only spots in town. Honestly, just friendly staff would make it better. It’s all just adds to a 1 star. Shame.

I ordered a bacon and cheese burger and a poutine at the drive through. No drink. $13.54 total. Burger came with bacon and cheese. No toppings. No lettuce. No tomato. Nothing. Cost of burger? $6.69. I returned the food for a refund. No thanks.

The A&W franchise in Kimberly is a hit with the locals and sojourner alike. There is a small adjustment made with hours and sometimes wait times that may make a city slicker do a double take but because of a smaller population here in ????️ Kimberly, they don't have a thousand burgers pre-made ready for a mile long line up that is typical in larger cities. So ya get your burgers and goodies fresh up and made with care by dedicated staff who've been just awesome every time I have pulled up and ordered. So a big thanks to the owners and staff for making good coffee, providing great service and delivering on the flavors we have come to appreciate from A&W. So a big up team ☝️☝️☝️ and rest assured, whenever I need to terminate my hunger, I'll be back! ????????????????????

After waiting until 9:30pm to eat I talked my out of town son into going to A&W in Kenora. Bragging it was the better than any from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg. What a disappointment. He ordered the teen burger platter with fries and root beer. I ordered a teen burger. The burgers were so cold the melted cheese had completely hardened. The lettuce was grotesquely large and sloppily applied. The meat actually hurt the roof of my mouth when I bit into it it was so hard and cold. Extremely disappointed.

Hired an employee with disabilities. Was rude and disrespectful to this employee due to their disabilities. Promised full time hours & then didn’t follow through. Employee spoke with them regarding more hours in which they said they didn’t have any to read to give. Always sent home this employyee early, and has proof of minimal hours. Fired them due to “being unreliable “ for their shifts yet there is proof of them asking this employee not to come in due to not enough hours. Wait time for food is unbelievable 20 mins minimum. Use the drive through to get fast service & can’t even get that. Will be writing to head office

Always extremely slow service. The slowest out of any fast food resteraunt every single time. Even when there is nobody else ordering. 15 minutes is average. They always get you to park and wait even if you are just ordering a teen combo with fries. Then the teen burger is always cold. If you are going to get someone to wait that long atleast give them warm food! Also the prices are outrageous!!!! If they had ant competition whatsoever they would have been gone a long time ago!

The Kenora a&w is the cleanest a&w we've ever been in. They had a ton of staff working in every area. Everybody was busy cleaning and putting things away, setting up, greeting guests.
