I have been coming to this mall for many years and have always enjoyed the experience. It has been renovated several times over the years and has always been well kept. It’s selection of stores is amazing and is quite upscale. There is a large food court with great eating selections. The mall is clean and well lit. Access to the mall is convenient and there is lots of parking. Just a great mall to find what you’re looking for.

What a disappointment Santa was this year. I can get over the fact that kids have to wear masks, but the camera is set up so far away that the kids faces are blurry, not only that but half the background in the picture is taken up by Zara and the roof or the hallway. The kicker? You have to pay $5 for the appointment!!! I guess I don’t blame them since people are passing on the pictures due to the poor quality, they have to make money somehow. The heartbreaking thing for us is that a visit to Santa in Chinook has been a tradition for 15 years, and after last year’s cancelation we were excited for these pictures. I would recommend passing on it this year. Very unfortunate and not up to Chinook’s usual standard.

I love the time we spent with my family there. We watch the movie and browse Chapters store like for hours. They have quiet a selection of books and we ended up buying a bunch. It has a lot of things to offer especially for high end brands of clothing if you're into it. Over all it's worth to visit.

The Chinook center is in no doubt one of the best malls out there in Calgary. But the food in Bourbon St Grill at the food court is out of this world. I ordered the 3 combo, in which I had mango chicken/honey glazed chicken , noodles and grill chicken. It was out this world. Specially the mango chicken. I ordered it twice just because of taste. If you are going there it's a must try.

I had just finished shopping at Chinook center and walking back on the first floor to exit the mall. I noticed the couple in front of me coughing.Then a couple walking past started coughing.I didn't know what to think.Then I started coughing thinking this is weird, I guess someone was spraying bear spray in the mall and security had no idea about it.

It's close to holiday seasons Chinook Center will be crowded despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Parking will be quickly filled. Clean and nice stores all around. Love the atmosphere here.

One of Calgary's more upscale malls at this point, following a major renovation. That has pros & cons: the clientele is now lots of younger people there to hang out, and lots of stores are boutique brands. But overall, it's well-run, clean, and trendy - a fun outing. A big plus is that parking is super easy, it's underground with electronic vacancy signs for the aisles and great elevator access into the mall

Chinook centre is one of my favorite malls ever. Super spacious and each part of the mall unique. No store is repeated I believe and designs of the mall area looks super clean and nice. Truly worth a stop when you’re in Calgary. The food court is awesome as there are great and unique choices!!!

Chinook mall makes for a great shopping experience- with over 250 stores, they had better! Parking space aplenty, with a Cineplex attached, awesome really. My only issue is the lack of a regular grocery store in there.... Huge as it is, no Walmart or Canadian Tire or any of these grocers at all! And no, Shopper's Drug Mart does not count????... I still enjoy going to the food court and window shopping quite often though. ????????

Definitely has that orwellian vibe to it now. Practically grew up here after school at the movie theater which now feels like a ghost town compared with how lively it used to be. Time to end these fatuous restrictions and let children have a childhood again dispense with the fear mongers and ignore people who tour "it's science" back into the corner they belong in.

I am new to Calgary and recently visited this mall. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of stores, restaurants and the cleanliness of the building. Most stores were in good condition with the exception to one or two that were full of customers with long lines at the cash register leading me to assume they were understaffed with their staff busy helping customers and unable to keep the store tidy as well. The overall layout is great and allows customers to enter one part of the building with a product category in mind and be able to look at most stores within that category in a short period of time as they are close together. I am likely to continue visiting this mall in the future and would recommend it to others.

Over the last week I have seen a great improvement from this mall, to maintain hygiene while continuing to provide services. The food court is less crowded and more Janitors are keeping the mall very clean. Smaller stores have a small number of customers allowed inside. The Christmas decorations are beautiful.

This is a fantastic mall for calgary. I admit it was a little hard leaving wem behind when I moved south. But this mall has every store you need. From generic stores to odd ones like I saw a Dyson store for the first time lol. The nespresso store is great and well stocked. I even managed to buy a PS5 IN STORE here. The facility is very clean and I love the underground parking. It will be great during winter. This will be my go to mall in Calgary even though it's a bit of a drive. But hey you can get almost anything here so it's worth the trip.

I can wholeheartedly say I prefer this mall over any other mall I’ve been to in the city. First and foremost, there is a significantly better selection of stores either in the mall or in walking distance around it meaning you’re bound to find something for yourself. Secondly, the food court has quite a larger number of restaurants, even smaller mom and pop shops compared to even cross iron which is why I’ll continue going here as opposed to anywhere else.

What can you day about Chinook mall? It's a mall. Has every store you need. It's very clean and organized. I regularly frequent this mall and many of its stores. There's something for everyone. Only downside is it's sometimes too busy -- especially considering current circumstances.

Chinook has become more of a high end mall in ways. Great stores and all but with covid lots of waiting before getting in to certain stores during the busier times. Also parking is fine if you are there early enough but if the mall is busy that parking lot can be a nightmare, especially during the Christmas rush. All in all Great variety of stores. Something for everyone that's for sure. Would love to see overflow parking in the future even if it's off-site parking of sorts.

This mall is a good place to visit when you are looking for promotions. I always find something on sale here when I need to buy presents.There is a huge variety of stores if you are looking for clothes. The food court is good when you don't want to cook. Their cinema is also good. There is also a good parking lot underground or outside. I believe they should have some areas for children beside toy stores. I would say this is the shopping with bigger popularity in Calgary.

I visit Calgary from California frequently. Friends took me to Chinook Mall. I was going to go independently on one of my trips downtown since a CTrain LRT station is conveniently nearby. Huge range of stores and lots of parking. We went there on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon, and there were crowds on every level. Definitely not one of the failed malls we hear about these days. There was so much to see that we were there for several hours. The food court has a variety of quality choices. We had Japanese food. You can tell it's really complete since Chinook has both an Apple and a Microsoft store, both of which I visited.

I think this mall is fantastic. This is actually the first mall I visited after arriving in Calgary and I was very impressed. It's huge and it boasts many stores, including a Dyson store! I had never seen one of those before. The Chapters inside is also massive with a great selection of books. All in all, a great mall to go to. 10/10!

I love to visit Chinook. Underground parking leaves a warm car to come back to. We have been here countless times but now many stores are closed due to covid as expected unfortunatly. The food court is a main draw as is the lego store, Jungle hut, EBX among others. Very clean and qell maintained mall along with the christmas tree and polar bears etc. Dont miss this mall.

Good place to come for a full retail experience. Mall gets especially crowded on holidays and around Christmas time so make sure to come early to find parking. It is getting a new overpass over Macleod trail to ease some of the pedestrian traffic. But overall a good mall with good selection of stores, food stalls and department stores.

They removed tons of unique and artistic props they had throughout the mall and replaced them with nothing. For example: The giant bronze dinosaur statue, the carousel, the big 3D chinese dragon, The circling flying machines in the food court, the Sphinx in the movie theatre, and more. Thanks to modernism they want to look like every other boring mall and are using the same tiling and symmetric/squared designs for every single thing. Every store and fast food counter just looks like a box now and every railing, table, kiosk, wall, and pathway are all slowly becoming the same color/texture/and design. Make the place unique from other malls by adding interesting art and designs to liven it up instead of copying every other brain dead modern design

It is said to be the biggest and most popular shopping center in Calgary. Was a good one, but we ended up there on Boxing Day and it was insane! There were no limits, so many people everywhere and no control over anything. In general, I like that the center has a big food hall and a great mix of cheaper and more expensive shops. I do not recommend to park to the official parking next to the shopping center on busy days, rather across the street next to the Hope Depot as they have a bigger parking and there is a pedestrian bridge connecting the parking with the shopping center.

Everywhere I went. Always had great service. There is plenty of great stores to suit your needs. You will find things that range from high end to low budget depending on what store you shop at. Highly recommend shopping here. If you drive in from the west side of the tower. There is a digital counter to tell you how many cars are parked in those individual sections of the parking lot. The food court is okay. Lots of interesting places to eat from. There is also a boston pizza here and a state and main restaurant as well, if you want to sit in somewhere that isn't the food court.

This might be one of the best mall in all of Calgary no lie. Chinook mall is large with plenty of parking with underground heated as well. The store inside is 2 story with a large food court and an even movie theatre. So amazing, in my honest opinion. This is better than south center mall and even the main core downtown mall. The main downside of this chinook mall is the pricing tend to be on the higher side depending on the store you are shopping at. Overall, great shopping center.

Overall the mall isn't bad, it's clean and looks nice, there are corners you can go relax in, and places where all the action is. This mall is definitely geared towards fashion and high end shops, but there are a few good stores the less fashionable inclined can still peruse.

This mall is a great mall. It has literally has everything you need. The food court has a great food selection and the movie theatre is amazing. You can walk around this mall for hours. Only downside is that there is a lot of homeless people and large amounts of “sketchy” people who roam around the mall. There’s a police station in the mall so it still is a safe place to shop.

Great mall with plenty of parking underground or outside. Great option at the food court and lots of name brand retail stores. Accessible via breeze way overtop Macleod Trail if you’re walking from the C-Train/subway that leads you to the food court exit. A go to place in the City. Includes a movie theatre, bowling alley, food court & shopping.

The premier mall in Calgary, while living in Cow town of all places, Chinook mall is a gem in the rough. Cozy vibes and high-end shops, while keeping it casual as an average mall, from the higher-end washrooms to the typical stores like Zara. This mall has everything and then some; it is always a great stop for a movie or a quick snack.

There are some most exellent stores in this mall. With a gun to my head, the best stores are discovery hut, edo and the hat stand in the middle of the mall. I will list some reasons as to why this is factual. Discovery Hut: My oh my, what a masterpiece. I love going there and chatting with the employees who have a broad history knowledge. We converse over simple dimple popits and our common interest in PCs. I also buy lots of unboxing toys from here because my good friend Kentdrious Nelkston likes them. Edo: Edo is great because I think the people who work there are mind readers. I asked for chicken with rice but they gave me an extra side of rice. I decided to just eat the plain rice and throw away the rest of my food because it looked so delectable. My buddies Kentdrious, Donatello Charlton and Addy-Sage ridiucled me over this choice but I know what I did was right. Hat stand: I like supporting small local business because of my conservative beliefs that this silly pandemic is running people out of their hard earned wages.That is simply why I bought a hat from here that says "Jason Kenny is a full sender and PC over girls". My friends steve and sixnine like this hat a lot and dont be surprised if this hat is in the next Full Send drop. SInging off for now, Christopher Laroi
