REVIEWS OF Mayfair Shopping Centre IN British Columbia

Sandra Caster

I think this was across the place where I went out to dinner with a friend at Denny’s. But they would let us in and my friend Vladimir got the mall across the street and crushed it and wrote on there with big signs : all for you! They had those signs there displayed for about a year and now they are fixing it! It’s still under construction as there were some business in the area served with eviction notice.

Bruce Ward

This is starting to be a really impressive shopping center . Not going to lie all the construction going on makes it a little bit difficult to navigate and can be distracting but I find the stores are having sales on and when the store is complete it's going to be pretty awesome. We went into Hudson's Bay that is in Mayfair Mall looking to purchasing clothes to finish our ensemble for Dinner En Blanc a event that is happening this Friday . A sweater that my wife was hoping to purchase , the only one that was left was on a mannequin display out in the mall show casing Dinner En Blanc . The staff did everything even to the point of going to the mannequin itself and taking the last garment off of the mannequin to ensure we had everything we need it they were awesome . And the management of the mall itself we're fantastic as well . This has absolutely became our number one place to come and shop in Victoria .

Shannon Davis

Good assortment of clothing for all types and styles. They improved there seating throughout the mall - lots of nooks to sit and wait or hangout. Everything has been refreshed. Also some cool stores like aromatherapy and poofy furniture

HARDxCORE MEDIA

One of my favourite malls, especially with the upgrades. I don't go to malls often, but this is one I usually go to as it's open late on more days than others. And there's a Sephora. Curry Point is great for mall food, holy cow. If you want curry, try them out! :)

Graysen Vistisen-Harwood

Just a typical shopping mall but in my opinion best one in town.

Carol Wainman

Nice mall, always super busy though! ( too crowded but a plus for them)

Rhea Royality

The animal scooter things are lame you're an adult. Ride one to work then we can talk. The children and adults that ride those need to be more considerate. It needs the following: crepes, hot topic, torrid, ardene, a sit down diner that isn't the food court, the HBC needs to step up like their Vancouver locations do.

Chris N.

Great mall. Lots of good shops. Quite a few empty ones, too. All in all, it's well worth the trip.

Becky M

Large, confusing space. Maps are on a digital touch screen and VERY high up to try to use. Parking lot is always full, use the buses (that thankfully stop right outside). Shops are the same mid-range outlets that one finds in almost any mall in Canada. Geared towards teens and young adults. Decent concierge and beautiful holiday decorations are the only things that really set it apart from the other malls in the city.

Paige Tatem

Its great that the mall has traffic directors for busy times like Christmas. Makes finding parking a whole lot easier. Can't wait for the reno to be finished!

Cheryl Redquest

Great mall. Love the new Chapters. Found the Christmas Tradition store also. Lots of fun.

B Will

A fairly diverse mall, but a bit of a maze. I like Mayfair. There's a great selection of shops, including Victoria's only Toys'R'Us. Their food court is great too. I don't like the maze-like layout, which can be a little confusing at times. There is lots of parking, so that's almost never a problem here.

Windstars Music Academy

Easy parking though may get very busy on weekends, rather accessible, visitor-friendly with good selection of stores, and something for anyone.

Duy Anh

Food selection is diverse, good service. Tables and chairs are always clean and neat. Nothing to complain about. This could be the best food court in Vic I've visited

Lauren ek

Parking is awful now that they are rebuilding the west side and the roof and main floor parking is limited. But the underground parking works well. And it has the shops, and the ride on critters, so it is what it is until the renovations are completed next year...

Keegan Wheeler

The Mayfair shopping centre is an ideal place for clothes shopping with a wide variety of stores for both men and women. I highly recommend the Indigo book store as it is very large and has many unique items besides books. I also recommend the Iced Coffee at Tim Hortons as it is always fantastic and gives you energy for your time at the mall.

Dawn Harris

First time visiting this mall I enjoyed how crisp and clean the mall is, washrooms well-kept the layout of the mall was very modern and unique and in one of the pictures you see this fancy clock that greeted you on one of the entrances. Great selection of mall stores very busy, but spacious at the same time. good variety of foods to eat in the food court. It clearly is the go to the mall in the area very popular with people.

Drew D

Parking is just bad... And they place bike racks in corners out of sight so that's super secure ????Right, nice mall good selection of shops????.

According to the world, today is the last day I will be in Victoria. It has been a short stay. Yesterday, I came here on a classified mission. Now, a friend invited me to a shopping mall. He had recently disposed of the body of a giant Buck. We were in Nanaimo then; we were there for a funeral which we were both late for. Sorry, Mr. Dr. Burger King the IV. My agents advised me to never publicly say I was in Nanaimo. The Buck was a mind-wipe level event. Jeff wanted to meet in a place that no one would question. Casual. A shopping mall, a walk through the commercial avenue. Not the standard environment of Mr. Government. I calmly asked, "Is it done?" Jeff replied, "My Androids dealt with it." He paused for a moment then added, "The Buck had a lot of technology. I could have tested!" "The world need not know about a Moose from Space, Mr. Bezos. It's content where it is." Bezos shocked suggested "You killed a galactic warrior! The world would enjoy knowing that there is the possibility of galactic conquest if the man in charge doesn’t feel the need to defend." I raised a brow and answered: "We'll put up a planetary defense system that you will supply and regulate." The offer made Bezos grin, but he repeated his demand, “Give me Star Buck’s armor.” I nodded. We shook hands. Bezos turned with a curious giggle "Although It may already be here." A strange child-sized Light Bulb creature waddled like the Eggman of Russia. He looked terrified of the crowd. He was looking for us two. "Hi. I am Dr. Light Bulb, the biological son of Dr. Wrench and adopted son of the now divorced Jeremy Buck and Ben Shapiro." I attempt to pose a question before Jeff asks “Dr. Wrench?” I shove the man aside. “Hello. I am Mr. Government. Did Jeremy Buck recently come to this planet?” The Light Bulb shuffles and looks away. He exclaims “You killed my Dad! You are a terrible man!” He then runs towards me and kicks my shins. Jeff looks at me. I suggest “We can revive your father.” The boy looks up with joy.

Carol Ann Johnson

With the construction, the wheelchair accessible parking is very limited. The underground parking is available but there is no elevator and access to the mall from there is only by staircases. I will be glad to return to shopping there when the construction in completed.

Kelly Roy

Used to come to this mall in the early 70's when there was the old Woodward's store several changes over the years obviously, great selection of stores pretty much anything you need is under one roof there is lots of free parking, staff at all the stores super friendly and helpful, easy access with transit and very good location

S Scholz

It's a mall, what now is there to say. It's a clean plane where you can find all you may needs. A good place to people watch on a rainy day

Padraig Cianaodh

Hey Lisa Helps! How are YOU doing, my friend? I have just found a BEAUTIFUL BLOOD ORANGE given to me by the kind and generous women of the GATEWAY BAPTIST CHURCH... A SACRED AND VERY HOLY PLACE.

Amelia Galligos- Bussiere

I love this mall. Almost something for everyone! The new renovation is very awesome. Love the bookstore and food court is very accommodating. Little stalls so you can sit down to eat. Maintenance workers constantly sanitatizing also help locate you a spot to sit down.

Ted Heatherington

In the middle of remodeling and up-sizing. Each phase will suck more. Like the other malls in town, they'll raise rents, kick the unique, small businesses out, and become more plastic, less useful, and simply become even less relevant to me. Eddie Bauer is the only store in here that I shop at and is unique. The rest I walk by, or can find elsewhere. The food section is already terminally weak with only a couple booths that aren't bland, fat and sugar chains outlets.

CP&CN RAILWAY'S #2

One of the best Shopping places in town! Almost all well-known outlet stores are here including some local businesses. Food court has good variety, and has lots of seating. This facility offers Underground and Above ground parking.

Robert Chamberland

Nice, big, open shopping mall. They always seem to be renovating something here so it always seems like a brand new mall. It's clean, never too crowded, and has a very good selections of stores.

Todd B

About as good as it gets 'shopping mall'-wise in Victoria. Pretty much a cookie cutter variety of your typical mall stores. The Indigo is big but I preferred its downtown location. Toys R Us has provided for our kids from 0-10yo. Canadian institution The Bay is still hanging on. I liked that Sun Records opened in the old HMV.

Braden Whitley

Basic had everything you'd expect. Nicely open and clean. Geared towards younger to middle aged women.

Noah Wilson

A solid shopping mall with a little bit of everything. I have my fingers crossed for a book store in the new expansion! One of the best malls in the area.

Mesfin Semere

Caffee bank shoping center

Joseph Motuz

Nice mall to explore, food court, places to sit, the place has improved, after the new stores, where built there. I meet friends there also. Many many shops. OLD EAGLE EYES ANDRE MOTUZ

Nabil Bennett

Always a pleasure to shop at Mayfair. Growing up, there was a consistent nostalgia I've always attached to this place, and I can't wait for the new instalment/section of Mayfair to finish being constructed.

Justin Curran (Vicengineer)

Second biggest mall in Victoria, decent selection of shops and kiosks. Layout can be a bit confusing. Free parking, and theres always space on the roof.

shadow games

ToysRus is great and the mall is so modern in appearance. I've tried every kiosk in the food court over my Many visits to Mayfair mall. Every store one is looking for is here. Undergraduate parking is great also Photos of the underground parking our last visit with my Son

3 1 5 7 3

I've shopped here my whole life! 44 now and still enjoy it. Many changes over the decades but popular. I even worked at Toys R'Us for two seasons ☺.

Rye _

Great location for those taking transit, major bus routes stop within a block off this shopping centre. The selection of stores is somewhat mediocre, I personally only stop by if I hear of a sale at a particular store. I do shop at The Bay, however the downtown location had friendlier staff. Mayfair is the only Toys r Us location in Victoria

Brian

Big mall, lots of options. Plenty of parking but it's a little limited during the construction. If I were to go to a mall, would prefer Mayfair or hillside over others.

Clayton Erickson

Currently under major construction but it has always been one of the main malls in the Victoria area. It is nice inside with a good selection of stores

Miranda Martisius

Lots of great stores if it would actually be open. The mall needs to be open later ... I don't go there because they aren't open after 6 on week days, which is when I have the time to go shopping.

Nancy Bryans

Great location and variety of shops

Alisha Dsouza

It's currently under construction which will be completed by 2018. But, it's one mall in victoria that has it all - unless you're looking for a grocery store! Don't miss out the stuffy riders :)

Shawn DeWolfe

I like Mayfair, but I am going to steer clear of the place for the next couple years while they get their renovation / expansion underway. I do not know why they think that given the prologned vacancy and Uptown and Hillside that they should add more retail space to the region.

Keegan Milliken

This place is a very nice mall. It has a good court with lots of options and fast service. The info desk was very helpful when I lost my keys. The staff here was all pretty friendly and helpful. This mall has a fair amount of variety shopping wise and is what you would usually expect to be at a mall. All in all it was a good experience and I would definitely come back here often.

Pravii ee

Lots of apparels merchandise. Appealing inside to walk around and close by coffee and dine in restos. Munch on and have a great shopping of the season.

David Scoates

Be careful were you park, you can get disoriented. It's like a huge maze. But lots stores to browse. If you get tired there places to sit and drink your beverage ????

Kate Lois Howell

This mall has a lot to over. Many stores including Hudson's Bay, Eddie Bauer, ToysRUs and Indigo Books as well as a nice food court.

Gweneth

The overall design is square, yet they messed it up by adding dead ends that jettison out. I get so lost in this mall sometimes... Not like there's more than 3 good stores either.

Dave Campbell

Some good stores. VERY POOR DECISION to break ground on construction and lose hundreds of parking spots before Christmas season. I will not ship there of Possible during Christmas!

Mighty Whitey

So basically this is like the biggest mall in Victoria I love going to Lush aritzia and sirens for my experience there is always an awesome the food court at whatever is kind of lame right now because of covid sore there's a lot of like empty tables that could be filled up and it's frustrating when they're all filled up and you have to wait especially when you have a screaming toddler on the side of you rolling on the ground while you're trying to order some lunch ???? overall I love the small compared to the one in downtown because one is closer to way better shopping stores that are for my kind of type of people

Randi Crawford

Busy, confusing layout. Basic stores and overly upscale stores, but it would be easier parking downtown than parking here. Their lack of accessible washrooms is also noted, as there's only one (in the food court).

Fernando Corrêa Dias de Souza

I really like this mall.

Douglas Gilliland

Great place to window shop or pick up specific items. Food court offers a wide variety of meals. Atmosphere is fun.

Herbert Betschart

Food Court review only! Food choices are good. The problem is the lack of ventilation & security in the food court area. It is very hot in there. Homeless and mentally handicapped people messing up the bathroom with impunity. You come out of there smelling like a kitchen. We had to launder all our clothing to get rid of the smell. We will not go near that food court again.

Autumn

Rather confusing floor plan, but a ton of great shops that you can't find elsewhere in town! Very modern feel to the whole building as well. Oddly I find it smells of chlorine near the exists though.

Tyler Kennedy

Mayfair has pretty much everything you expect in a mall. A food court, a few department stores and a bunch of smaller stores. Nothing too notable. Right now, there's a lot of construction going on but they're still open.

Mustapha Rachidi

Good for shopping, good prices, hutson bay is a little expensive, never bring your kids to toys r us ;-)

Shawn Stewart

This mall is currently undergoing major renovations but still open. This mall is mostly focus on clothes. If you’re in the fashion this is a good place to go however the options for shoes for other goods is very limited.

Ree Ma

Great place for shopping or just a hangout spot , lots of parking space , great location. Close by public transportation. Food court has a lot of verities, also very clean , great staff at the food court.

Ken Murray

Only two EV charging stations where at least eight are needed. It is all but impossible to find one available for use. Save yourself the hassle and head to Hillside Centre instead where they actually care about EV drivers.

L8dyoftheL8ke

The mall itself can be a little confusing to navigate if it's your first time there, but they have a great selection of stores!

Dionne Nichols

So much for social distancing or wearing of masks. There was far more people there than I would have thought as most people who shop at this mall have no respect for social distancing rules, look at you funny if you wear a mask, and have gone right back to behaviour as if Covid does not exist! The only noticeable change is in the food court where all access to tables are blocked off except via food vendors, no distancing of permanently attached tables, every table is available, so the actual food court was a crowded mess! At least the hallways are very wide, which allows for ease of access if you are simply passing through the mall, which is what I was doing as it was pouring rain and I was walking. I was quite relieved to be outside of the mall and will avoid going there unless I am going directly to a store in which I will access the store via the closest exit, get in, get what I need, and get out as quickly as possible.

Derek Lovett

Probably the worst Mall I've ever been in in my life super confusing layout 3/4 of the stores are closed and I did not see one kiosk with the map of the mall not really fun for a guy with disabilities in his legs trying to get in and out all I wanted was the hat thankfully lids was open and those guys were awesome in there but the rest of the mall is terrible.

David Liao

Biggest mall in Victoria. But still small compare to mainland. 1 hour of window shopping if you are not buying anything. They got a big Indigo though.

Johnny Park

I don't understand why such a big mall does not offer play zone for kids, especially when they have ToysRus in the mall. Hope I can give better rating when they finish the renovation.

John Peacock

Lack of high-end designer shops

Michaela Starling

Good selection of stores but I don't like the mall layout.

Nick Manz

Mall layout is circular, making it easy to navigate to any store from any entrance. Many staircases between floors. A+ on mall design and store selection

Marcy C

This is a nice mall with a nice variety of stores and kiosks. It's in the process of a big renovation so parking is an issue at this time.

amit ganguly

great hangouts for a casual evening. Friends, family and visitors will love it.

R. Berezon

I don't frequently visit here but when I do go, it is always busy but then again, that's a mall for you. There are various stores throughout the shopping centre but most of them are quite expensive. I only go when I need something and I know it's at one of the stores inside.

Tanya Nadine

Quiet mall. Very underrated. Loved the stores and the relaxed environment...

Kellie Lapshinoff

This is my favorite mall in Victoria. Lots of parking. They have just done a big renovation. It has a good food court. Many good clothing stores and Sephora if you are in to make up.

jeff david

Store selection is garbage, I just go for the crisp beef burritos at taco time ????

Sam Robertson

Avis the manager at Toy R Us is a real bright spot! She seems to always be making someone's day at the return counter! Today she made mine! Thank you!

King Cruz

Best mall in Vic but not saying much. It has the most variety with regards to stores and they did expand it this year but imo, they should have updated the food court too. I prefer the hillside food court.

Mark Hilchey

It's a nice man work good shops but there are stores clued for renovations.

Kristina Rose

Line ups at stores due to covid. Food court has plexiglass glass dividers now due to covid, which is good.

Tiffany Marie

One of the bigger malls on Vancouver Island and definitely the biggest in Victoria. It has a good selection of stores, ample Starbucks, and an adequate food court.

Walter Bances

After the renovation this mall is completely Amazing. It is a great place to shop and enjoy a nice meal. I like it.

Luis Rodriguez

Great mall within a great city!

TW Twohundred

Lots of high-end trendy boutique clothing shops, and a fairly large and varied fast food court. Other than that... no bookstore, no supermarket, no drug store, no hardware store, no cheapie department store like a Walmart, etc. If you are just an average working joe or jane, this mall is more interested in selling you overpriced designer underpants or $120 jeans than anything else.

Custom Charger

Huge selection of everything. Clean.

G Mc

Lots of stores and parking. Would still rather be in Hell then in a mall at this time of year.

Orin Schafer

They added a new addition and the indigo store is really nice, I dont see the purpose of the new talus store (they already had one) but the mall is always kept super clean

Joan

I had a wonderful experience with the lady who works at Signet Jewellers/ People’s Jewellers, amazing customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure that my order has safely arrived to store for pick up, I really appreciate her help.

Alexandra Schmidt

Love this mall!!! Not just for shopping, but to hang out with friends. Lots of seating in comfy chairs.

Nick Chowdhury

Great time shopping, stores, staff and the entire food court are very organized and prepared for social distancing! I just wish people were more aware and cautious.

Shuai Liu

Bigger and better than before, so many stores are selling iPhone 11:)

richard mckenster

Awesome bike parking by entrance. Clean, ample Covid-19 distancing space.

Cynthia Osiemi

The shopping center almost always seems to be under renovation. The facilities were working fine so that was definitely a plus. There’s a Tim Horton’s outlet as well so that’s also a reason to visit.

Tanya Kucey

Not a big fan of this mall. A lot of your standard shops and they're in the process of redoing parts of the mall, but didn't put that notification on the info board. And I didn't find that out until I literally went in a full circle. And speaking of. Unfortunately there is a lot of bad planning and if you come out of the rooftop parking down into the mall- you are kind of on the outside of an oval perimeter that has small corridor "arms". It's not a well-thought-out design and if you're in a rush, it's a real drag because there aren't any cross throughs. You have to walk the full perimeter plus the length of any arm corridor that you are on The mall in general has a heavy and oppressive feeling. A lot of the shops have people working there who obviously would rather be somewhere else. I have never noticed such a large percentage of shop employees talking to each other and ignoring their customers or hanging out on their phones during their work time. And lastly, the stairs from the rooftop parking down into the mall are poorly marked. And it really makes you feel like you're in some sketchy kind of old building instead of the modern shopping mall because they are rundown, exposed concrete, smell like, well you don't want to and then exit you out into a hallway with no signage! . Kind of felt like being in a Seinfeld episode.

Anne Dalton

There is no excuse for this mall to have no directory of shops and their location posted within this mall. I shouldn't have to search facebook on my cellphone to find out where the shops are. This is not acceptable !

Justine S.

I completely dislike the actual mall and its confusing layout. However, the staff in the stores are usually lovely and everyone seems very safety conscious.

Jordan Campbell

It's an ok mall not much for stores here though

Rahul Dhir

I bought phone and shoes with good price and always had a chance to visit mall

Zane Little

It has a good food court. They are changing around all the stores to a better place. The new addition will probably be great

apf

Good selection with options for a diverse population, parking is limited during peak times/seasons. It does lack a sporting goods store such as sport check but there is one down the road. They are currently expanding so I would imagine the parking situation will be better after.

Jody Laurence

Sure is different with the upgrades. The food fair is clean & enjoyable place to eat. Stores are up to date and mall is a nice bright building with lots of natural light.

Kathleen Meadows

Love lots of shops in this mall. Excited to see the completed renovations - I'm sure this will zoom this mall to the top of everyone's favourite shopping spot.

Felicity

I really like Mayfair mall, it's the best mall in Victoria tbh, I like going to aritzia, garage, saje,Sephora when I'm there, they also have really good stores in there other then the ones I listed! :)

Loud Soundman

Good selection of stores with a decent food court. Currently being renovated which is causing a bit of a parking problem.

Kathleen Prince

Beautiful renovations, but I was ignored by staff at Gap, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic and Aritzia on Sunday afternoon, not even a 'hello' or smile. What gives? I work in retail, too, this is unacceptable.

Ken Y

Your ordinary mall with a nice selection of stores. They spent a ton of money on what is essentially a facelift on the Douglas St.side of the mall. They expanded some stores but didnt really introduced what wasn't already in the area.

Daniel Andrews

Pretty typical little mall with pretty typical stores. They're currently working on an $80 million renovation / expansion so it'll be interesting to see how things change in 2018.

Chloë Farr

Very much looking forward to the renovations being completely. The parking is a nightmare and it's very hard to get to the douglas-street side stores without walking all the way across the mall. There are a decent selection of shops currently.

Samantha

Love the mall but i wish there was a 4 way stop at the intersection closest to the Finlayson Bay Doors where traffic is coming from left and into the mall from Finlayson on the right. You can end up being stuck there forever if it is busy!

Jet- Lïsa

I find this mall isn't very friendly for kids/families or if you are nursing, I love that it has mall cars however, that and toys r us is it for kids. There's minimal to none clothing/shoe stores to shop for small kids and also has no play area (even Westshore mall has one). Everytime I come here my child always asks where their clothing store is, only store is the gap which is lame as it's very small with minimal clothing. Unsatisfying, wish there was a carters/osh kosh or a children's place etc.. so we all could shop. It's a detterrant and waste for time to come to this mall if I can't shop for my kids too or have a place for them to play. The renovated area is Nice and clean I love how large the new bathrooms & stalls are. It's a little dissapointing the escalator leads to just parking and not a second floor of stores. The "pop up" spot is pointless and could have been used better the shops are small carts and could be throughout the mall like most malls do, this area a waste is space. The food court is average it has a decent amount of food choices but it could be updated and is small and gets over crowded. Also this mall has no restaurant attached for a nicer meal option.

Ryan Morben

One of the best malls in the city for a wide diversity of shops and it's got the biggest food court to satisfy even picky eaters.

karthik varadarajan

Perfect Mall with a lot of stores !! Safe Parking and nice location

Rita May Webster

I miss the old original mall. This one's to bright and pastel and snotty for me to want to shop there. Even five years ago was way better than this one.

Cenastor

It's a decent size mall with lots of different stores I didn't buy anything just looked around.

Jonathan “Jono” Holden

Mayfair's a cookie cutter indoor mall. It houses most of Victoria's premium fashion retailers and backs on to it's ugliest Hudson's Bay. If you're clothes shopping on foot and you don't like being outdoors it's probably the best place to be.

Rex Sharman

A bright, spacious shopping center. Great ambiance and choice. However, if you park on one of the upper levels off Tolmie Ave, good luck finding an elevator or stairs down the mall level. Very well disguised, and in this time of Covid-19 you might have to wait quite a while when you do find an elevator.

Jesse Young

They added on extra space but I think it was just structural cause it looks the same as before which is some stores for some people but not all stores are for all people. Theres are CD record store so that's a plus. But it was a 25 people limit or something, but I counted more than that so i passed on going in.

Donna Rae

Free parking. Decent food court. Big selection of shops and services. On a bus route.

Susan Wallace

Great food here!!

Hilda Smith

Great upgrades, I shop here quiet often, my kids get their shoes and clothes here toys r us source love the food court, they follow appropriate covid procedures

Dani Ela Schroyen

I have not been inside this mall for 15 years

Desiree Beka

I love the renovations they've done. The added parking is a big plus

Sheryl TM

Parking is free and generally available except over Xmas shopping when it's packed. They are working to bring in more up to date businesses like Lululemon.

Sandra Jones

Good food court. But I'm worried when construction is completed, there will be too many empty stores. There currently seems to be a dearth of fashion in Canadian stores. Fingers crossed it'll become an improved shopping destination.

Michele Sealey

The new section is still under construction, but the displaced stores (Mobilinq) seem to be kept in the same general area. Clean, wide thoroughfares, surprising amount of natural light, good range of stores. Enjoyable shopping experience.

Desmond Brisbin

Great selection of shops with an easy layout to navigate around. Food court has lots of options. A couple boutique stores but not enough to be a high end hub. Park on the roof! Everybody forgets it's there.

Kimberly H.

One the busier malls still within the area. Nicely laid out and clean, though nothing massively stand out.

Tracy Pearson

This mall has a store for everyone! Great food court... Amazing Santa house for pics too!!

Mike Pfleger

Staff and mall security need to be more serious about ejecting people who refuse mask mandates.

Chris Webb

A great mall in Victoria for clothes and shoes and higher end stores. usually quite quiet during the week, I love the underground parking. Food court is lacking with quality or variety, but Mayfair is convenient to get in and out of, and a good place for jewelry and watches, good shoes (even for men), and higher end clothes and makeup.

Cassidy Towers

Not much going on in a post xmas January

Priscilla Titian

I have for as long as I can remember liked Mayfair shopping mall more than the mall downtown!

Chrispy

Decent mall that is growing with lots of new stores coming. Going through Hudson Bay is like a maze so you may want to avoid it. Lots of parking.

Tony Kwon

one star is for not having updated services for nursing mothers or parents with children that needs washroom facilities based around families. Their washroom services in this mall is so outdated. Their main washroom is in the corner of the foodcourt. There is only ONE handicap/family washroom . It is lockable and occupied most of the times I needed to use it with my daughter. Many times, it was just being used by a single-able person. I REALLY hope Mayfair's great renovation/expansion has plans to build 2018 quality washroom/nursing/change stations to accomodate the famlies that's coming to this mall. I prefer the stores at Mayfair, but look at Hillside Mall as an example on how to do a proper washroom facility to accomodate families. My daughter (who's now 4) insists on us going to Hillside Mall because they have those amazing family washrooms with child-size toilets.

Paris Sturgeon

Love the selection of businesses! Food court is a bit over kill with Covid prison cells.

Md Rezaul Karim Robin

Many shops. Not an outlet kind of mall but still variety or brands and the foodcourt is worth visiting. Parking is great and washrooms are clean.

Andrew Brown

It's OK. We didn't find a shop that my 13 year old liked the clothes in... but she's picky.

Jamie W Bush

This our go to mall when the family wants to go shopping ????️

John de Jong

Been shopping here for years. Always enough parking including rooftop and underground and lots of selection.

土萠ほたる

The mall is going through some heavy renovations and as a result parking is an issue as well as quite a few decent retail shops and services had disappeared. The stores that are left are nice but the shopping centre is very fashion orientated.

raina newman

I've been coming here since I was a kid, stores come and go and then come back and ive always enjoyed spending a day going out and heading to this mall, great stores and a good food court.

Peter El-Nahas

Still unfinished. But there's more stores and new ones too. Hopefully it will in full function soon. After all I shop there often.

Lorne Tuplin

Did some shopping at the Bay. Even though construction & a large recent addition has taken quite a few parking spots, I was able to get a spot within a few paces of the door & was in & out quickly. They were ridiculously short staffed as usual. I'm sure that addition to the mall will make it a great spot to shop for the Christmas Season

Seth

People don't follow the safety guidelines here and they're not enforced. Wouldn't recommend going at this time if you are trying to follow provincially/federally enforced social distancing protocols

Matthew Block

Newly renovated, clean, lots of options and lots of parking. Once the construction finally finishes this place should be on par with metrotown in Vancouver

Josh Teng

Currently under construction, there expanding and bringing the mall to the 21st century, large food court with great options, Mayfair also has some very good stores.

Nigel Henzie

Decent mall, good selection of stores and fast food. They are currently undergoing major renovations and expansion, meaning there are fewer parking spots than usual.

Marcus Drums

I like Mayfair mall and it's just gotten better over the year. Awesome atmosphere.

Colleen M Campbell (Col)

It's a nice place. Kind of hard to get around for people with disabilities.

Juliana Amauchi

Great variety of shops, nice to hang out but I miss good options in the food court.

Susan “Destani” Fisher

Food court is clean and well run with a great selection, often come here just for that reason. Unfortunately the rest of the mall is pretty much an over priced glut of the same type of stores over and over again. I was really disappointed in the new upgrades to the mall. Hard to walk when mobility challenged as the mall was so spread out, lack of refreshment amenities on the front/douglas side of the mall. Hollow echoey hard on ears.In addition there is little basic amenities to draw me here to spend time, when other wise I would. So far, no good food store, no health food store, no pharmacy, no entertainment like a video/show front, bland and boring. They need to step up the program to be real for folks. Its not rich people that will support you in the end...its the working folks. Hillside Mall and Uptown Mall are both competiton, and both meet the customers wants and NEEDS better.

Brian Szabo

I hate malls. And I visited on a busy weekend. And it's under construction and has limited parking. But so far as malls go, it's better than I thought it would be.

Kyle Worsfold

Has pretty much everything you could want and more great mall some nice food in the food court as well

Brittany Nolan

This is my favourite mall in town! There's a great variety of stores and I really appreciate the motorcycle parking at the entrance near Toys R Us.

Alan Schram

It's a mall alright. Has a food court, and shops. Parking lot is often difficult to get in and out of, but once you're inside that doesn't matter any.

Maria Eliana Maiben

I was surprised from my visit to the food court. I didn't see any server from any food store wearing a mask.

Sunandita Sahu

A great mall with plenty of shopping places and eateries.

April

A great variety of shops in this mall including a food court to rest and refuel. Great for walking out just to do some light window shopping but I doubt you will leave empty handed. It's still under construction and I can hardly wait until they are finished so as to take new photos.

Dallas K.A.

I love the layout of this Mall. A variety of places to shop and when you get tired...places to sit and eat.

Mardi Lea

Not as many stores as I remember. Clean. Very busy though.

LaVatta Frank

Wonderful food court workers who work diligently to keep area cleaned and seating the next food court customers????

István Pap

Don't bother going during covid it's a gongshow There's no contact tracing in this mall, there was no count of how many people were in the mall and no enforcement of any guidelines. Mayfair is a cramped indoor space and frankly no one indoors was following the markers to socially distance or weren't wearing adequate masks.

A Brian Coldwells

Getting very crowded, parking that is.

Lisa Dean

Great atmosphere...the best stores!

Phillip Cook

Kind of small. Not overally special. Has the basic stores, mostly clothing. Lots of parking, both outdoor, parkade and under ground. Under construction adding lots more square footage.

Andrew McCloskey

Most of the stores here are either clothing or shoes which is a pro or a con, depending on who you are. For me it's a negative. I went Christmas shopping here and I managed to walk around for about 2 hours and enter 3 stores that I found interesting. Got a cool calendar at kiosk though.

Regis Denefle

It's the real deal: a large shopping complex with plenty of parking, wide corridors with shiny brand new cars on display - probably prizes, small gadget and cell-phone shops in the alleys, box stores of many kinds, and all the products needed to practice consumerism.

Robyn Duffy-Toner

Pretty standard shopping mall. Have many art related events that pop up in the mall every few months which give it a little spice. It has a pretty small variety of stores and a mediocre food court. However they do have a space for pop up shops which I greatly appreciate, allowing you to visit smaller businesses.

Aila Evans

I love! Mayfair I go there all the time and it could have more stores but other than that it's a great shopping mall and place to chill

Christopher Sanders

Great mall! Even through the pandemic it has been a safe and fun place to due some shopping and grabbing lunch at the food court.

Nathan Drew

A lot of stores still open through the construction. The inside looks nice and not like a dumpster fire that some jobs seem to be.

Jordyn Putter

They have recently completed a series of large renovations that have greatly increased the quality of their shops. They now have a larger range if shops and brands to choose from. This is one if my favourite places to shop because I can always find something here in a fair price range.

Martin Palacios

I went to the mall today and went to use the elevator parkade and there was sludge coming out of the filtration system and it fell all over my shirt. I went to guest services to report the issue and I was told I could take off my shirt there and they would wash it. I think it is insulting and disrespectful to request someone to do that. Unfortunately the poor customer service impacts the store because i ended up going home and I will have to buy a new shirt and I will make sure not to do it at the mall

Sean-Lynette oliver

Prices are double in this mall compared to malls in Nanaimo and on the mainland , great for tourist but not for locals sorry Mayfair you are anything but fair!

Azztaroth Daemon

Diverse amount of shops, easy to get to, large food court

Linda R

Has to be the best mall in Victoria for its variety.

Arsema H.

I only visited a Mac store and it was pretty good. Clean, not many people though. I think, I am comparing it with Vancouver.

J Graham

Parking is much improved and now stores are starting to open in the renovated area. Greater variety of stores make this more than a teeny bopper destination. Food court options are middle ground for type and quality. Mall is always clean.

TeaTime_Turtle8_RL

It is so fun to go to with your friends and have a good time!

Kira Schmidt

Lots of different shops to check out

Max O'Million

Shop owners are extremely rude, assuming and discriminating and with some you could also include a laziness that would have Garfield the cat look energetic and motovated. The security are pretentious, intimidating and short tempered. After my last experience here I will not be returning. I strongly suggest you find somewhere else to do your shopping.

Andrew Koehn

A good mix of stores with an accent on fashion for the 18-35 female demographic. Middle to lower-high-end name brands of currently popular labels are a theme. This newly renovated retail space sports fresh, modern design. There is a comfortable and cozy food court to relax or meet. Access to the mall from Douglas Street N. or Blanshard St. Is convenient. Parking capacity is fairly good during non peak times.

Kohen Willis Dengler

Small Mall, but had just the right amount of stores for men and women. The stores are a bit pricey though

James Green

Usual selection of outlets. Clean, lots of choice in the food court, parking is good with lots of space. Mall renovations just about finished.

ONE Cloud Real Estate Group eXp Realty

Nice mix of shops. Wish there were restaurants in the malls. Needs more programming, when compared to other cities.

Anita Barany

The renovations are great however the parking areas are not clearly indicated as to which stores we are parking close to. That could be great signage especially when one takes an elderly person with them or even someone on crutches or in a chair.... Food for thought

Geoff Jones

Lots of changes going on at Mayfair right now, so there's some stores missing on the Douglas Street side of the mall during the renovations. Sunrise Records has opened in place of the now defunct HMV. I like it, but it needs people to shop there is it's going to survive...

shane mcdonald

The mall is okay. The big renovation basically gave them more parking and 2 new stores that aren't good. Who came up with that bad idea?

Brian Howland

Can't wait to see what this place will look like once construction is finished. *parking tip - park up top as there tends to be more space.

Braiden Cantelon

The stores inside the mall should be open for the hours of the mall, not just whenever everyone feels like it. Mall opens at 10, some stores open at 11, some 12, some don't open but are posting they are.

Randall Bailey

Lots of great stores, lots of parking..wheelchair accesible, good food court...very modern look after huge upgrade, friendly staff in all the outlets..

Rhiney Maceachern

In a time when malls are closing. This mall is thriving

Vanessa Seguin

Nice choices to for men n women of all ages... Even the new botns

Matthew Glenn

Great mall overall. We visit it regularly. A little frustrating for parking at the moment because of the major renovations that are underway. Excited to see what the new expansion will have to offer.

Pardon Me Lemon

probably one of my favorite malls here in vic. lots of good stores! the food court has good places to eat as well :)

Jared Bayley

Overall, Mayfair is a great mall in Victoria. Probably the best mall. There are lots of different stores to choose from, there is lots of parking available, an it is in a very good location. The food court has many different options as well. This mall is better than other ones in Victoria because it has lots of stores, and is in a great location compared to the malls that are more downtown.

Saul Andersen (FoodieCabbie)

All that for a parking garage!?! Average mall with the usual suspects but the new latest renovations are more akin to a Las Vegas Gulag... terrible! Maybe add some public art or a splash of colour? Maybe? Somewhere?

Clifford Lee Schlosser

Didn't see any Fast Food Crapolla

Han Qin Xin

Not as big as the Bay Centre, but they have some interesting stuff there. They have a lot of varieties and I go there to buy clothes all the time. Check it out.

Ted Walton

I live fairly close by, and I like the selection of stores in Mayfair, and I think the addition of Sport Chek and Indigo Books are good ones. But as someone who visits as a pedestrian I find the layout to be really obnoxious, at least coming from Douglas or Tolmie. The former entrance is gone, and the new layout all but forces you to go through Sport Chek, whether you intend to shop there or not. I feel a bit weird having to navigate though the centrally-located fitting room area in Sport Chek in order to find my way in and out of the mall. But you say, there must be a regular mall entrance for pedestrians? There is, but the outside layout doesn't make it that obvious. When you first go to look for it, I guarantee you'll go up two or three approaches only to find they aren't actually entrances. And when you do find the Douglas Street entrance, it is angled away from the street, tucked away, almost as if they were embarrassed to have to put it in. Go through that entrance, and there's just a lot of blank walls. You feel like you came through someone's utility closet, not a primary entrance. There's still a proper entrance out the back towards Blanshard Street, where a large part of the parking lot is though. Pedestrians/ transit users are obviously not the mall's favourite demographic.

Ashley B

If you have to go to a shopping mall in the greater Victoria area this is one of the least painful ones, IMO. The main mall areas are wide, accessible, and bright after the recent renovations. Getting to and from the mall is fairly easy via public transit. Very average food court that still looks a bit outdated but with a variety of the usual chains to choose from.

Tim W

It's a mall, they're a little sprawled and their Bay is in definite need of renovation (it's run down and very dated) The mall is currently being renovated (much needed) and will hopefully get a better selection of stores. The bathroom situation at this mall is pretty pathetic, either one must trek to the food court to use the bathroom, or wait in a dingy back hallway that is also a parkade entrance for a single stall bathroom. If these situations are improved I wouldn't hesitate to increase their rating.

Syed Ismail

a lot of variety and a decently big mall. there are things for the little ones to do on a rainy day and you can borrow strollers. there is a parent room and massage chairs. decent food court and lots of sales. be sure to check online for stores, hours and events. a nice place to visit and easy to find if you are not from town Visited there on snowy day, it was quite inside but I enjoyed, there's a plenty of parking available on the ground also on different levels

Mike Purewal

Can't drive around the mall anymore. Lower level parkade is too low for full size SUV's.

Bashar Dari

This is mall is our favorite mall in Victoria. Its location is perfect on both Blanchard and government street. I love shopping in the Bay. Boys luke riding stuffy riders. Plenty of food in food court as well as outside mall nearby. Having Tim Hortons & Starbucks is an advantage. I also used tailor services and they were professional. Mall is under construction to expand it...I heard chapters-indigo will open here. Recommend visiting this mall for anyone visiting Victoria.

John “Jay” McGowan

A very active shopping mall with many chain stores. The food court offers a wide variety of cuisines; some from independent vendors, others from widely know food chains. The Hudson Bay anchors the mall. Indigo bookstore is another favourite along with Sportchek and ToysRUs.

Paul Franks

It's a easy to navigate mall even with the pandemic shopping is good.Friendly customer service

Logan Kuzyk

Not the most well rounded selection of stores at the moment. Especially lacking in men's clothing; actually basically anything that isn't women's clothing or shoes. The new renovation seems promising though.

Shelley Vaags

Still my favorite mall. Even though it looks formidable now with the new renovation.

Shraddha Saraf

Always a fun to shop here. Some of my favourite stores - Bath and Body works, american eagle, la vien en rose, gap, aldo, call it spring - they always have great deals.

Eagle Junior

Lots of shops to choose from, and pretty decent food court too. Pretty easy and fairly quick to get via car or public transit also.

Maryam Bavand

It’s a big mall with lots of retail stores!

Reanna Martin

Mayfair is a great mall for small children and adults it is usually busy but malls are like that but overall it's a great mall in general

Shaun

Has everything you expect from a mall. I frequent here regularly.

Anielle Linds

Not the best mall but the best mall in Victoria for sure!

Winston Mitchell

Mayfair mall is a nice mall with a good selection of stores for women. If you are a guy and looking for a decent food court or an EB games or HMV then the mall is perfect for you, otherwise go to Hillside mall. I am excited to see what they add to the 80,000 square foot addition they are building.

Natalie Soulfull

Mall is just OK, despite the expansion.. Victoria, the town lacks the forethought and incentive to build or develop anything really cool like other cities across North America.

Kyle Isaac

Not that big of a mall ... Not very many large anchor stores. But it's a small city mall, so wasn't expecting much from my visit, and the experience didn't prove me wrong LOL

Mark Anthony Guisadio

not kids friendly mall, complementary free rent of the kids stroller are great but not so clean to use have to clean it first before I placed my child in.

Cindy Ignacz

Bright, well lit, however I find it difficult to navigate around the mall.

Sheena Nixon

I used to really like Mayfair, they had a lot of good stores. But now it's kind of gotten lame. There are only a few stores that I really like such as Sephora, Sunrise records, bath and body works and la senza. Now they are renovating and bringing in some new stores but not really. I was hoping they would bring in more exciting stores but they aren't. Just saying, Mayfar isn't what it used to be. Don't get me wrong, I still like shopping there just not as much.

OBAX

This place is very clean and if you need help someone will help you. Another great thing about this mall is that it has lots of stores and just had a giant upgrade and more stores with a great food court and tons of parking on top of the store and outside and under ground

Luc Arsenault

This place has done a really good job keeping things running while tackling it's huge expansion project. The feel inside isnt really diminished by the construction, although the parking and street access have taken a bit of a hit, not that the front parking was anything special in the first place. I was worried that the Christmas shopping would suck here because of construction, but when you're inside you can barely tell.

Shannon Terleski

After some major renovations, I feel like Mayfair should have more to offer for the go-between mall for Langford and Saanich residents to not go downtown(bike lanes). But alas, it just does not. It almost seems like a lot of wasted space. This mall needs more stores! This mall has so much more potential! But you will find most of your basic retail stores here. Meh.

Dennis Brikmanis

Not enough parking during holiday season and lot of the stores are quite expensive compared to same stores in other parts of Canada...also don't carry near as much selection

Aiko Crutchfield

Great place to get all your shopping done. Lots of parking, easy to get to. Great choices.

Aggie Chan

The upgrades to add more square footage to the mall was not a bad thing. But how about more washrooms?? In particularly, family rooms and nursing rooms. There is currently ONLY ONE family one in the food court area. And nursing room is tugged inside woman washroom and really, it is just a seat awkwardly put into a slightly bigger stall. So while you breastfeed your baby, you are staring at and smelling whatever the toilet condition is. Very unpleasant and fathers cannot even go in to help. While most families would take the kids to run around in Toysrus and now the newly added Indigo, how about a little kids playing area?? Any mall this size would have one. And more food/drink booths should be sprinkled through out the mall. It sucks to have to walk all the way back to food court area when you want a little something.

Aces Stash

Love shopping here, especially at Michael Hill jewellers.

Sugarcube The Sugarcarrot

Good stores and I got cotton candy

K Law

Most businesses outside the malls run on 9am-5pm banker's hours. Thus it baffles me as to why the malls AREN'T open later to accommodate this. 9am-9pm, seven days a week should be the norm, not the exception. It's not, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Athena H. Razis

I really hope this upgrade brings with it an upgrade in decent shops. Less bad quality teen clothing that any parent would not allow their child to wear in public snd lore quality fashion options

TheBlackShadow BJC

now adding. Too the old mayfair it was big enough and lots of good stuff in it again itll be bigger and more shopping guessing at the end of this year 2018 summer. We see how its like when its complet done.

Stuart Cox

It's Mayfair. It's been around forever. But, it doesn't sell anything useful except women's clothing and a toy store. There's a men's clothing store or two but you'd have to be seriously searching before going there for just those couple of shops. It's settled into its focus and loves it there.

Katie Davidson

Good mall always come here for one resonance or another when I visit Victoria parking is good clean mall lots of stores air conditioning in the summer really good book store there Bolen books...check it out!

Elizabeth Nyland

A little bit of everything at Mayfair. Great jewelry, shoes, clothes, bathing suits, lingerie, makeup, books. Best mall in town for one stop shopping.

Kevin Davies

Decent parking, large selection of stores. Food court was a bit underwhelming. Has an HMV though so thats a plus.

Fabio Said

Many stores where you can probably find what you need, especially during the holiday season. The big chains are mostly present (though a Winners or Marshall's wouldn't hurt) and there are interesting small stores as well. A great alternative for Uptown Mall as it is closer to downtown and parking is awesome and free. In my opinion, it is worth a visit just for Indigo, by far the best store in Mayfair.

Bob Thomas

They have an ebgames (GameStop) there, which makes it fairly easy to pickup titles, even if the staff there is prone to selling presell gifts and such to staff, before opening to public.

Joseph Yeo

Great mall , some spots a little pricey , but there's always plenty of sales

Sasha “Big Becky” Emamali

Me and my mother came here for a little while to pick up some clothes and we stopped at the food court for food. The only downside to Mayfair is that it closes at 6:00 which is a really unfortunate time for me and my mother

Bulbaovesen

Probably the best mall in victoria especially for christmas shopping

Denise C

Nicely renovated mall

April Gilliland

Some interesting stores, but a lot that are not. There's massive construction and it's going to continue for quite a while meaning parking is all disrupted. Could be more bathrooms available. This place is almost always busy.

LILY CHAI

Very nice shopping center in Victoria ! All my girls love it! WAY TO GO! MAYFAIR SHOPPING CENTRE! My favorite place is the Starbucks coffee ☕️ and OPA Greek in food counter ! The nice couch next to the fireplace is one of my favorites spot too! Love to read my book there !

M H

Mall is still under construction. Upper parkade is accessible using the Tolmie entrance and gives you access to the food court/Toys R Us on the east side or The Bay on the SW side. The main entrance considered from the Finlayson St entrance or Blanshard St, but you can only access Blanshard entrance if you are travelling southbound. Best mall in town for kids with the Toys r us. They also have convenient mothers rooms in the public washrooms by the foodcourt, and in the Bay washrooms upstairs if I recall correctly. The food court is conveniently located by the main entrance and offers enough seating for everyone. Options include Orange Julius, Pho Boi, opa!, ManchuWOK, KFC, A&W, Ali Baba Pizza, NYFries, Subway, Taco Time, Umi Sushi Express, Curry Point, big orange and Tim Hortons. Something for everyone.

Nathan Lawko

Probably my favourite mall in the city, though, I'll admit that's mostly for nostalgic reasons. Objectively it's a good mall with a good selection of stores and food court. It's relatively clean and not too difficult to get around. The recent renovations are a much appreciated use of space. The new upper parking is effective and adds a lot of space and the new stores added are big and great for present shopping. While uptown is probably better for clothing and great restaurants, Mayfair fills in the gaps with a good variation of stores. Usually I don't have to go far from the Mayfair/uptown strip for most shopping needs.

Esme Clarke

Buffet. Very good. I recommend it for a quick evening out when downtown shopping. Only 4 stars because I have a mushroom allergy and not all of the dishes had names on them. Limited my choices but the dishes I did try were very good.

Nate Friedman

Currently under construction. Great Variety of shops for this type of mall. Sure it will be majestic once complete. Total aside but very friendly staff at The Source. Go there for all my phone needs. Check It Out:)

Yard Plots

My daughter loves this place

Denys Yaremenko

The mall is fairly spacious and not too busy, with a nice store selection. The concierge is very helpful and friendly.

noel vickers

The only place in Victoria, one can purchase Nespresso ????

Ryan Knowles

Almost every store has friendly staff, and the only mall where I haven't encountered pushy sales people in the middle kiosks! Can't wait till it's done!

Jamie Cormier

A mall I have grown up shopping in. I had housed some of my most favorite places past and present such as EB Games, HMV, Purdys, Kernels popcorn and Toys r us to name a few. I haven't been a big fan of the renovations so far but I wanna see how things go over time. I have found the food court has housed some really nice choices that I have enjoyed such as KFC, Orange Julius, Taco Time and Subway. They have lots of other options like OPA!, A&W and New York Fries to name a few. Have enjoyed this mall growing up and I'm sure I will in the future!

Jose Padilla

A great looking mall with a good variety of stores. However, if you do decide to go shopping be prepared to at least spend $100+ ????

Kory Miller (Roykiller)

Mall washrooms were a disaster again. I always make it a habit now to go to the other side of the mall now to use the newer washrooms since they are taken care of more. Other note. The malls Reno's are greatly done but needs more stores in it.

Jack Canon

It had been awhile but wow great Renovation love how it's now grown in since and great new stores

Dan Green

I was able to park on the roof near stairs that was close to the store I was going to. I was able to minimize my time in the mall, and maintain social distance.

In Private

Shopping was brutal. Limited number of people allowed in the stores. Stay home and order online.

sayar samanta

Great place for shopping, prices are on the higher end but they do have lots of varieties.

Carol Baker

Friendly staff and nice to see happy staff not grumpy thkz for all the hard work u all doin Merry Christmas

Kevin Bailey

It's a very basic mall. I find the halls to be empty and there is alot more happening near the food court. Push some of the venders in the hall there to other parts of the mall to move traffic around.

Robyn B.

It's a large, mostly upscale shopping centre. If I had designed it, I would have done things very differently, but nobody asked me. ????

Ian Frazer

Lots of good stores inside. The Bay is huge, 2 floors, lots of stock.

Elliott Anderson

Mayfair mall has the most stores of all the store in Victoria. the COVID procedures are good but it is pretty busy.

Jason C

Got what I needed, decent spot

Christian Flanagan

I usually just go to the food court as it is close to my office. The food is okay (love Opa greek food). Don't really do much shopping in the actual stores though.

D. Nifty Dad “NiftyDad” Davies

Covid protocols adequate, saw a few not wearing masks properly. Didn't see person checking vax cards in food court so didn't eat there. Just did shopping and left.

Joe Victoria

It's a good mall with good stotes but it's still just a regular old mall.

Blaine Sewell

To be honest I am not sure why I like shopping here. Could be the free Wifi. Could be the free parking, or eddie bauer and banana republic are here. Could be that I can hang at a couch and watch tv while my wife spends six hours at sephora. In any case, if i have to go to a mall, this is the one I want to go to. I have always had good experiences shopping here. People's jewelers is a great store, amazing customer service. Love that Tim hortons is there for cheap coffee. Love the underground and rooftop parking---You can come out of the stairwells very near the stores you are trying to shop at rather than wandering through the entire mall from a main entrance. Soon sport check will be there. Hope to see an Atmosphere there too.

Robin Reid

One of the best malls in town. You got all the stuff you need, clothes, electronics, phones, video games and a big food court. I will say that even though it is open during covid, I suggest you stay home as it is very crowded with people and social distancing is pretty hard.

sandeep shah

It has lot of brand outlets. Kids play area and food court. Shopping + food????

Mr. Hedgehog

Mayfair is single-handedly the best mall in Victoria. While it triumphs over most aspects over other malls in Victoria the customer support and security is not to die for. I have a few favourite shops that I go to at Mayfair and I couldn’t find one of them. So I saw an advertisement saying “Need help? Text this number! And that’s exactly what I did, I texted asking for directions towards the shop I was looking for, and it took them 20 MINUTES TO RESPOND. By that time I already was able to walk through the entire mall and figure out that it was no longer there. On a separate visit, I was with a group of 6-8 people, and a couple of us were holding skateboards. We might’ve put them on the ground to rest them, but were not moving them in any way while the wheels were touching the ground. And later in our visit (5-20 min later) security tracked us down and told us “do not ride your skateboards on mall property this is your first and final warning”. And that’s fine, we can respect that even though we weren’t riding them. Half an hour went by and we just finished eating in the food court. We did are last go around and then once as we were about to leave, head of security and another massive beefy security guard told us “We got you on CCTV riding your skateboards in the mall, we’re now gonna escort you off the premises. If you refuse to leave, police will be called.” And we did what they asked and left. Most times I went here were fine, but I’ve also had terrible experiences here.

Natasha Bodaleva

People busy shopping for the Christmas. Bright welcoming environment

Kyla Steeves

Hi Mayfair, can you update your opening hours on your Google My Business? Says open until 6pm and at the mall signs say 5pm.

Paul Gardener

Pretty decent low key mall, but honestly hasn't changed in over 30 years. A remodel would be awesome!

Steve Trinkwon

It's the biggest mall in Victoria. Primarily focusing on fashion (mainly ladies). The mall is essentially a square with branching paths at the sides. Not a bad place for the family to go for some nice window shopping. Weekends are the busiest times.

Joey Gibbs

Nice mall, will be very big when construction is complete. Had to walk all the way around to get in.

Anthony Dyson

Currently in the midst of a major renovation overhaul, but had been one of the main shopping Staples in Victoria. Lots of shops to choose from and the food cost isn't too bad. There are also a few higher end shops for the higher end shoppers

Kathy Masse

It was very busy,so many people.not use to that any more.from what I could see all the stores were open. Good for Mayfair cause Tillicum mall is so empty.

Liyang Qin

Hope the front door could be easier to find and more stores such as sports wear and electronics. The food court should have more stores as well. Ideal place to do shopping when there is not much options to shop on the island!

Paula J

following COVID protocols well, offering services as usual within those protocols. Still plenty of places to shop at, still plenty of options for food.

Flo Esmeralda

Good variety of stores to shop. Easy parking.

Michelle Stewart

Good mall for teens and young adults. Terrible parking due to the construction but that should be fixed within the next year or so once the reno is complete. Food court has a good selection of different vendors. Needs a book store.

clyde gronk

Filthy washrooms, people smoking at entrances and in no smoking areas, lack of security, place is hard to get around and has almost nowhere to rest when shopping, along with people loitering inside mall and outside!

David Chauvin

Renovations are almost completed. This mall has a huge underground parking garage. There is a food court with lots of choice and a good number of shops and services.

Linda Reinhart

I've been a long time customer and have purchased many pieces from various locations. I can honestly say that I have been treated so well each time, at each place, but the staff at this particular location went way above and beyond during my last visit 5 or 6 days ago. After explaining what I needed, both the sales rep and the manager worked hard and took so much time to provide an awesome solution for me, for which I was so grateful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Michael Hill ????

Thiago Hinkel

Many options of stores. Good for a walk. Usually very busy.

Ann Marie L

A lot of beautiful clothes that I like to buy when I got a new job again ☺ ????

Emily Valin

Their map is not accurate, very difficult to navigate this mall. It took me an hour to find the store I wanted, and they were sold out of what I needed. One big waste of time.

Luke Wilson

Good choice of stores to shop at. Cleanly and relatively contemporary in appearance.

Chrondongo

Great service from Virgin Mobile kiosk

Donald Neill

Clean! I saw a cleaner pick up a customer's cell phone and chase after her to make sure that she got it back. A very decent thing to do...

Jeremy Hannaford

They've definitely done some great Reno's to the place over the years. It's now a big long squiggly circle around rather than having to go all the way to one end, then turning around just to get back to where you started to have to go down the other way. Sure it makes for alot of walking but it was a bit annoying. But yeah the mall is great now.

Cole Vandewater

Mayfair is amazing so many shops to choose from, absolutely love the many jewewlry outfitters there are available to cater to your exact specifications or needs , storefronts are all in style , cant go wrong no matter where you choose to shop in mayfair , Very competetive pricing as well , enjoy, extended hours throughout the holidays definetely makea shopping that much easier , mayfair caters to the patrons and everyday customer for your consuming needs ,enjoi!!

Haven Andrews

Great mall! But needs newer stores. Victoria secret, pink, apple store, charmed aroma and showcase!

mr wansburgie

I go here about 1-2 times a month and it's just really convenient to have so many stores so close to eachother. There's toy, video games, clothes, food. All sorts of goodness

Wade Bears

I had a good day there

Rod.C. Andrew

Was looking for runner's for my Nephew n took awhile for Sumone too helping us n worker's walking around n finally when getting help Anotha asking if need anything n their scanners couldn't scan the 1 runner for the size wanted

Plus side, even during christmas season with the mall expansion completed there was lots of parking on the new wing. After construction completed new shops added but not many added branded store choices besides what's avaliable previously if I really compare with Vancouver's Metrotown. The food court usually crowded has subway, kfc, tacotime, opa, alibaba, newyork fries, sushi express a&w basically fast food that's popular with locals. The only oriental is Manchu Wok. Cuisine is mediocre in my opinion. Curry Point offers east indian. Conveniently located is the wash rooms just between subway & new york fries. The anchor store "Hudson Bay" seems to do fine. Crowded during christmas.

mygamertag2010X

The layout of this mall is one of the worst I've experienced. I'm at this mall at least once every 3 weeks and still have a hard time knowing where the specific stores are in the mall. The lanes that cut through the centre of the building make it a very non-linear shopping experience. The addition of the "stuffy riders" definitely removed a level of class from Mayfair as well.

Spencer Mackay

This is a nice mall, easy access and parking all around. There is Reno's that's are gonna be done soon. It will be nice when it's all co plete with lots more to offer.

Happy wuslzla

I went to the Bay in Victoria on the boxing day.I was on the line to go into the fitting room at the men's suit area and saw the grumpy and rude old clerk. I understood that he was busy to organize the customers on the line. However, he touched the costomers stuffs to count them and let the customers go into the fitting room with very rude attitude. I was so upset to see that kind retailer right after Christmas day.

Penny York

The mall is nice, good food court, I really enjoy this place. The only thing that sucks is the parking. The spaces make for a tight squeeze if you drive a full size SUV or pickup truck. Even the mothers with small children spaces by toys r us offer no extra room for the carelessly thrown open doors. Otherwise it is a great mall and a nice place to do your shopping. There is something for everyone there. Wish they would bring back the ride on animals though.

Greg Holtz

It's a great mall with a reasonable selection of services. The interior is updated and significant additions are in the works, to be completed in fall of 2018.

Luc Hamel

The place to go for fashion with a good selection of healthy alternatives in the food court as well as the typical fast-food. Free gift wrapping at the concierge desk too.

Gowan Newbound

You know, for it being days before Christmas and it being very busy, it wasn't so crowded that you wanted to run in the other direction.

Catherine Rogers

After work and evening shopping is ideal. .quiet shops and attentive staff. Lots of parking on the roof!

Richard Cullis

Good food court. Lots of different types of food representing different countries. Lots of women's clothing stores. A really neat dvd & music store which also sells related trivia

Brian Blunt

Great variety of stores. Very nice clean mall. May look like there is a lotmof construction from outside, but once inside you won't notice it.

Ella Clark

Great mall but the ladies that work in the food court are super passive agressive. I get times are tough during Covid but common you don't have to be that rude, it was seriously off-putting.

George Ireland

No regards for over crowding during a global pandemic. Boxing day was atrocious.

Rob Sander

Nice mall all your needs

connor9335

Couple stores that I like, parking is usually not bad to find. Some stores are suffering from the construction that is causing less foot traffic in parts of the mall so that sucks.

Helen Graham

Shopping on black Friday. What was I thinking? But it was okay. Just parking lot was a zoo trying to get out. It will be great when they get more parking.

Lise Appleyard

Too big for me.it has alot of stores but exitting was hard.not enough floor maps

Jan Brens

Wow that is such a nice clean place. I felt very comfortable shopping there and will return when I am in town again.

kris rasmusn

Clothes and shoes predominately. Not much for a male shopper. Don’t think one can buy a hammer or a beer anywhere in there. But it’s clean and looks nice

Brian Iverson

Fun mall. All the shops I need. Another great place to hang on a not so sunny day

Tara Simpson

Probably my favorite mall in Victoria, lots of stores to shop around in either large name brands or little more private stores. The food court has great selection of different things and the new addition is great! I can barely remember what it looked like before!

john smith

Lots of new space for new stores however you know what they say about a pig with lipstick.

Navneet Kaur

Best for shopping and having good food

Art Middleton

Very nice mall. I have to say all the Christmas decorations in the stores is just too soon. It kind of turned me off.

Dave Parkes

Im looking forward to the completion of the new addition. The mall offers many big chain stores but lacks smaller companys. There are many kiosks at christmas with many cool things and of course "toys r us" is a must if your shopping for kids. The food court has a fairly decent selection. This mall is in my oppinion, the best shopping mall in the city.

michelle harvey

Good place to browse.and disability is welcomed

William Schroeder

Rant to Michael Hill jewelers. I purchased a watch from them 3 months ago and was told I get free batteries for life. I go to bring my watch in for a new battery only to be told that it's no longer valid. And they would have to send it back to Toronto to get replaced. And too boot I purchased a necklace there on Saturday. Absolute fkn joke... Never ever fkn shopping there again !!!!!

Joti Bryant

Layout and lighting does not make a comfortable shopping experience. Feel like you are in grey maze! Much prefer Bay Centre and Uptown!! Only upside is that Indigo Books is located there...

Jason Yee

Mayfair Shopping Centre is exactly what it seems to be: a shopping centre otherwise known as a shopping mall. It has one major anchor store (a large retail store) which would be the Hudson Bay. The shopping center also had other shops to meet all sorts of needs ranging from beauty to cellular, vitamins to stationary, and everything in between. Of course no shopping centre is complete without a food court. Ample parking all around though it can get crowded depending on the holiday season.

Maureen Parker

I am not overly impressed with the new mall. More washrooms strategically placed would be nice. Also More food choices besides just those at the food court. I don’t have young children but am. Rey surprised there is no children’s play area. I might be in the minority but I am not that impressed with the new Indigo. It feels sterile to me. Yes modern and bright but lacking the coziness a good bookstore offers. The store selection is the same old same old. The Bay is always a mess and you can never get help. Would LOVE more variety and new stores. Parking is fine. The guest info centre is fine. Just not that big of change from the old mall.

Alberto Galleguillos

Typical mall, good food court, typical stores. Big parking lot (out front, and on roof), but not many buses, kinda far for walking (depending on where you live).

Nice Guy

Terrible the way security treat people in this mall. Have seen them profiling people, yelling profanity, so unprofessional.

Denis Farling

What a sterile place.....the snack was ok however the walk through the mall was depressing and I don't think making it bigger is going to help. I think they made a fundamental error in not considering putting housing above the new expansion.

*UPDATE WITH PICTURES BELOW* ***CLAUSTROPHOBIA ALERT!!!*** Boyfriend and I had nothing to do so decided to check out the new location of Chapters and buy some reading materials. Sure, it's Boxing Day, but we were willing to battle the crowds for the sake of books. Unfortunately we never got to see any of the stores due to the atrociously designed parking! First try was the underground parking which gave us a taste of what was to come. We marveled at how low the ceilings were and at how we couldn't turn down any of the parking lines because they were all one way in the same direction except for the last one. Gave up and headed for the exit. Made it to daylight only to find a gong show just outside where the exit from the underground had a stop sign but the other 3 ways; coming from the outdoor parking lot, the second floor parking level, and traffic from Finlayson all competed in a free-for-all in the middle of the intersection of all these directions. Cars from the underground had a stop sign but their drivers added to the general confusion by ignoring it completely and driving straight into the milieu and then stopping in the crossway such that no one could move at all. Mayfair had attempted to ameliorate this issue by deploying a flagger in full visi gear but to no avail as everybody ignored him too! Now for the claustrophobic part. I did not think that I was claustrophobic. I turned up the ramp to the second level in an attempt to escape the mess at the intersection only to find myself stuck behind a wall of traffic. Worse, a wall of traffic stuck under the lowest parking garage ceiling I have ever seen! My boyfriend, from a seated position in the passenger seat of my car, not a truck, a car, COULD REACH UP THROUGH THE OPEN WINDOW AND TOUCH THE CEILING IN PLACES! Full disclosure: my boyfriend has more than 20 years experience building parking garages and other large-scale commercial buildings. If he says the ceiling is too low, it's too low! The finished height before pipes are installed is supposed to be 6'9" at minimum. With pipes it can be 6'4". My boyfriend could touch the concrete ceiling above the pipes while still seated. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize there's a problem here. PLUS! Oh yes, there's a plus. NO EXITS WERE POSTED. WHERE IS THE SIGNAGE? WHAT IF THERE'D BEEN A FIRE OR AN EARTHQUAKE? WHERE WERE THE ENGINEERS AND SAFETY INSPECTORS AT ANY STAGE OF THIS MONSTROSITY?! FOLLOW-UP We did end up going back. Quieter day. Parked on the old upper lot. As we made our way down towards the mall I realized we were passing near the spot we'd been stuck the first attempt so went into the parking garage to look at it without traffic. Holy hell. The pipes were so low that I had to warn my boyfriend so he wouldn't hit his head in places. I actually found an exit sign. Couldn't see it from a distance because the pipes hang in front! The sprinkler system pipes are held to the ceiling every 8-10 feet. Code apparently calls for them to be attached something like every 2 feet or less. If you tap the pipes they swing wildly. Gotta wonder how flexible these things can be without failing at the ends! I took video of them swaying. WHO DESIGNED THIS?!??! 1st picture: Can you spot the exit sign? Oh c'mon, it's bright green! Surely you can see it. It's right behind that big pipe right in front of you! I mean, what if there was an emergency?! Sheesh. 2nd picture: The top of my head relative to one of the pipes and not the lowest one. We just wanted to get out after seeing what we saw!

Evangeline MacIntyre

They did an amazing job on the renovation, looks clean. I just dont understand why they are lacking in good stores you would think they would have built to add more. It's not really a family friendly mall other than the fact they have a Toys-R-Us. I believe they would have soo much more business if they built an indoor playground like the one in west shore mall and updated the Toys-R-Us.

Trevor Davis

A good mall,not many left

Andre Archambault

Mayfair is a good shopping center. But its additional ongoing parking construction will make it look grotesque when seen from Douglas street. The square footage rentals are horrendous. The owners must think we're all zillionnaires. There's also a great food court which is usually quite busy.

Jane Barrett

I have always enjoyed shopping at Mayfair. I'm pleased to see more stores being added. The new upgrades in the Mall are very pleasant and the grouping together of all the restaurants makes for a very friendly atmosphere.

sky boutilier

Love the new mall..especially the Christmas decorations 2 thumbs up

James T

The girls in Aritzia were trying to reenact a scene from Pretty woman if you know what I mean... The girl in MAC with the sparkly make up was amazing though.

Natalie Kelt

Lots of upscale shops to choose from, great Gap store and Victoria's biggest Bay. We like going to get quite a few things when needed as there's variety.

Mary Whana

Decent mall, not worth the drive from nanaimo in my opinion. But if your already in town maybe it could be worth it. There are a lot of expansions and new stores coming this fall so that's a bonus!

E V

FYI: Only one entrance to the bay is open. Exterior doors off blanshard. No mall access

Alison Likespickles

The only good thing about the mall is toys r us. It's over crowded. Your car is likely to get broken in to due to lack of security in parking areas and the bad area the malls located in. Also there's always empty stores. It's a mall, not a hallway with fake stores. What the heck guys? Put in better or more reliable stores that can pay the over head!

Cindy Kocol

The visit didn't result in finding what I wanted. Other than that, it was fine. Loads of free parking. A good variety of shops. I just wish there was more children's clothing stores that the average person could afford to shop in.

Debra Vonk

Decent mall but day I went was super busy and parking was a nightmare. Good selection of stores with more opening soon.

Trevor Premack

Vancouver islands best Shopping Centre. Great atmosphere, wide assortment of stores. Bonus is the free gift wrapping at guest services!

Rene Hutchinson

Mayfair has a few good stores I like such as Eddie Bauer, Indigo, House of Knives, Purdy's, and SportChek, ToysRUs, TheSource. The food court is great. The new parking update and front end look very nice and are very convenient. Stores though are beginning to contain too much product from places that mass-produce sub-par quality merchandise. The new mall update looks pretty, but that doesn't matter when stores are unable to stock quality due to prohibitive costs to maintain a brick and mortar presence. There are still many empty spaces. The mall has a few good stores scattered around, but places like Japan Camera are missed, and if these property owners continue to charge obscene rental/leasing fees, Mayfair may end up a store front for cell phone providers and cheap case sellers.

S. McD.

This mall has undergone a lot of changes and it looks great. I especially like the Starbucks by indigo books. It's quiet and a great place to visit with a friend.

Adrianna Griffin

This is the best mall in Victoria but frankly, it’s pathetic. The only thing decent about this mall is the Aritzia. Other than that, I do not waste my time shopping in Victoria. The renovations - or rather the 72 million spent on parking - have been an embarrassment. The mall was better before and many stores left due to increasing rental prices! Now the mall is half empty and they brought in no new stores - unless you count a few tiny pop up kiosks that sell local touristy items. Such a waste of 72 million!

James West

Waiting to see what the mall will be like when the new addition is finished. Have always enjoyed going to the fast food counters and the convenience of it.

Shawn van Donkersgoed

Always one of victorias best malls. Still open and not super impacted during construction. Looking forward to improvements being done.

Wade

Used to be destination mall but ever since renovations it's gone downhill. They have lost a lot of businesses due to high rent and low traffic. Hopefully when renovations are done it will be great again. Oh and parking right now is horrible.

A Smith

Nice places to shop. Shop local. Help restaurants, retailers, barbershops, hair and nail salons.

Meredith Dalloway

This is an average mall. There is ample indoor and outdoor parking. There is a space where local artisans can set up a booth, however, it doesn’t appear to be a permanent feature. I enjoyed being able to support local even though I was at the mall.

Barbara Hansen

Lots of shopping got done. Thanks for the variety.

Lori Reichert

The store wasn’t crowded and we felt safe from Covid 19. Service was excellent and store was well set up.

Annette Magled

Great selection of stores. Mostly a happy place to shop.

Cory Hutchins

This mall is a pain in the butt to park at however, it has the best stores and a solid food court. Great place to do all your Christmas shopping.

Cameron Neumann

Good selection of stores, adequate parking (including underground), centrally located. The layout can be confusing for people not familiar with the mall so it wouldn't hurt to have more mall maps/directories around.

Karen Cox

Went to Mac as well looking for eye shadow, saw some that I liked buy bought nothing

Kathy Chilcott

Great displays. Lots of good signage. Places to rest. The new Mayfair is a fun place to visit.

Jessica

This "mall" is so small. We had a bigger mall in the middle of no where Ontario. Parking is always a nightmare. I would rather go to uptown any day.

PATRICIA COTTRELL Cottrell

I enjoy visiting Mayfair Shopping Centre. The food court is good, and the Bay is there so I like visiting there. My husband and I were disappointed when the book store, and card shop were closed. We also wished there was a proper drug store like Shoppers Drug store or London Drugs. That's a major issue with us. Having a small Pharmacy upstairs in the Bay hidden away in the corner, is very inadequate. I also wish Mayfair had more stores that catered to customers who are aged 50 plus. We live nearby and wouldn't have to go all the way to Hillside Shopping Centre if there were stores catering to that age group.

Jazmin Higgins

I've been going to this mall since I moved to the island in 2017. Now the renovations have improved it, but the new bathrooms are not what they could be. There's no mother and baby room and I can't even use the change tables because they are simply to high, perfect for my husband at 6"5". The old washrooms need some serious TLC because they are truly gross, and a children's area would be nice. More seating at the food court, and more food options would be necessary. Does have a decent amount of store variety. But the bathrooms alone have me going to Hillside mall instead, even Langford Westshore strip mall has nicer washrooms then Mayfair. But lastly Mayfair has the best Christmas decorations out of all of the malls.

Alysha Knodel

This isn't so much about Mayfair, because the mall itself is great but the store Bali Kiss which I had a terrible experience at. They sold me a broken pair of earrings so I brought them back with the receipt a few days later when I came back to Victoria and they refused to exchange them. I never got to wear them even! The girl was extremely rude and used their final sale policy as a reason not to credit me or do anything for that matter! I have never had that anywhere and will definitely not be spending money there again. wpuld not recommended their products to anyone but judging by the fact that I never see anyone in there, people probably already know this! Really dissapointed.

Chris Shipway

Great place big open spaces lots of selection inside there where parking attendees during Christmas rush directing traffic made getting in and out easy.

Tony G

Place is good enough. I see they started charging for ev charging which is totally lame. 1 star deduction for that reason alone! Otherwise the mall has seen a lot of upgrades which are keeping it modern so that's good. Sadly I'm not a teenager so I dont spend enough time there to comment on specifics.

Dennis Carmichael

Great place if you're shopping for clothes

Mike Arnold

Despite the renovations, still a great place to shop and roam around, lots of great shops Looking forward to the renovations to be done

Fred Anderson

Annoying music throughout the mall at too high a volume. It does not improve sales. Some parts of the mall reek from the highly perfumed products (too many to list) which may be an indicator of poor ventilation. Millions spent to refurbish the mall but it’s the same junk that you find in almost every other Canadian mall. Cannot understand how the rents in Mayfair cover their investment and overhead.

Linda Bilodeau

Not too busy early afternoon, managed to find a little something for everyone.

Ruth S.

I love how the Covid-19 measures and protocols are put in place. In the mall they have clearly laid the signages on the floor to indicate the incoming and the going out trafic. The food court seating area is divided by glasses. There's a guided line up to into the restaurant area and one needs to wait after getting your food to be seated at a clean available place. At least that's what I saw when I was there last week. The mall was a bit crowded but clean with hand sanitizer everywhere. In one of the stores, one must wash their hands before entering.????

Pierre Vallee

Not too impressed with the new LL Bean store.

Terry Mah

It's a good mall but was not happy with the fact that some of the employees where not wear any masks. I didn't feel safe at all.

Vanessa White

Mayfair Center is one of many malls in Victoria. This one is my favourite. Beware: they are currently under major renovations on the west side (along Douglas). Apparently 1 million sq feet will be added and the date of completion is 2018. Favourite stores include Teavana and The Bay.

Catherine Carson

The Mayfair Mall is one that I/or you can go to that is not so confusing. Instead it's easy to get to, it has a handy food court and it's not just so busy like Walmart is in Uptown. Lots of variety, especially Purdy's chocolate. Yum. Grate stores like Toys R Us, and the Flight Center is right where the Food Court is. Enjoy!

Travis Howland

This mall is a great place if your looking for apparel, the food court also offer a wide range of options which great if you and your friends can't agree on a place to eat. There are a couple of options for coffee and usually plenty of parking most of the year with the exception of December unless you're arrive early in the day

jaime sanchez

Excellent service and exquisite food court!!

Scott Stewart

Huge mall. Lots of stores.

Viking Mikkelsen

Mayfair Mall has had some fresh uplifts that have made all the difference from being a 3 star mall to being a 5-Star shopping center. The general shopping area is clean and spacious, the shop choices are plentiful and full of great products, and the bathrooms are regularly serviced. The food court is a good size and offers a great selection of foods and beverages from coffee to souvlaki. Highly recommended shopping center.

Adam Walker

They offer ride on attraction toys for small children outside of toys R us. I was not able to get change for a $5 bill to get some loonies, but told to go to customer service. Mall customer service advised me that they don’t offer this service usually and to go back to toys R us, buy a small item like a chocolate bar and get change that way. I think for a mall that advertises that they are a premium location, they could offer a solution or put in a change machine, for a service that they advertise.

Mohamed Goralwalla

Turkish Delight store Very good quality products Reasonable prices

IPM N

Decent neighborhood mall. Has the essential shops like Sephora, Indigo, Body Shop etc. No luxury shops here.

Sio James

Most are not wearing masks here. If you are a POC wearing a mask and practicing social distancing security will single you out to ask you to walk on other side of 'lane.'

Jennifer

I think this mall is the best you can get in Victoria. Therefore, 5 stars

Domenico Trombetta

Bright place to spend shopping and eating court very good

Mirjana Vanderzee

Fantastic place to shop. So many shops to go to and food court is great ????????

Henry Y

Pretty much the best fashion mall in Victoria. Good selection of stores for mid to high end shopping. Lots of parking and decent food court.

john Harris

Very nice mall, lots of trendy stores

Grant Schwartzentruber

Good customer service at T-Booth.

Samantha Dimery

Good mall

Catch Bing

Has a variety of stores, and I visited a couple of months ago. Large food selection incase you go hungry. Also a pretty decently sized food court to sit down and enjoy a bite. I went to the Tim Hortons and the service was pretty quick. I went on a Tuesday in March, so if anyone had those shifts, props to you for making the experiences of me and many others more enjoyable in this wonderful city.

Ben Schmidt

Got lost in here. Wouldn't want to fight zombies during the zombie apocalypse here.

Alan Keser

Over all the mall is very clean. The food court has a wide selection but the seating are is very large and can be quite crowded at times

James Maxwell

No signs in the upper parking area, not exactly user friendly.

Gerry Verhagen

Wife just loves her new Team Canada ski jacket

Gavin Doyle

Shopping Centre that serves the neighborhoods on the edge of downtown. Hudson's Bay is the anchor store for this mall. A Sport Check and Indigo books can be found here.

Breanna A

Good variety of shops, clean, plenty of parking outside and underground, on a main road in a central area, good food choices when you get hungry, washrooms by the food court always clean.

Elizabeth Lane

Good selection of stores. Nice environment.

Katie Flower

This mall have a big big parking lot and have a 4 entrances . inside have a stand of information services and over 30 stores have a Victoria Secret, Gucci, Circuit city, Payless shoes,Hmv dvds and Lps store, Games store, and Toy r us store, Starbucks, Bank cibc. Champions store,Dental office, optical store, Candy store, and stand to repair cellular and more.oh and a big food court with KFC, Subway, tacos, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnam, Indian and Greek food, Newyork fries and other pizza and one for sale ice cream/smoothies/juices.

soumen rana

Good location, good variety of stores, quite a few places to sit and a well sanitized food court where the staff is working hard to keep things clean

Mile Hannajh

Parking lot issues. Other than that Nada.

Steven Clouston

Amazing Clean mall staff can not do enough to help you. Wish the new book store wasn't a indigo as they have wayyyy to much stuff not near enough books!

L F

Easy to park, I went to the Bay store and everyone was very helpful

Frank Robinson

Wonderful big mall. Large food court. Clean. Mega shopping choices. Something for everyone.

Joanne K

A great mall undergoing some construction. Plenty of clothing and beauty options for women, some for men, and a big toy store for kids. Limited in its electronics selection, better to go up the street to best buy for more specific or expensive items. Parking lots are large and easy to get to, although some are limited due to construction. Layout of the mall itself is a little confusing, especially if you don't go often.

Thomas Smith

Thank the Lord I have a wheelchair cause this place is huge. Unfortunately I was a only patron at their video store and their food outlet. Video store left for good, so so did I.

Nikki M

It's a good size shopping mall. Really nice and updated on the inside. Downside is that there doesnt seem to be much parking, especially for trucks. If you have a small car it would be easier to navigate the underground parking. If you have a truck, your likely to hit the bar at the entrance.

Jean Campbell

Great variety of shops and services. Currently being renovated. Has many stores that can't be found anywhere else in Victoria.

T

A great shopping mall with great store choices. The underground parking lot is spacious so parking usually isn’t an issue. There are multiple entrances that offer outdoor parking as well.

Jul Dickson

We stopped in to use the facilities and they have greatly improved their Covid Protocols. From none! To great protection for staff and customers. Slow to the mark (nothing at Christmas) but they got there.

Tina Pie

Takes 10 mins to wrap my gift. Didn't actually finish it cuz she took her time picking up 2 phone calls and more customer behind us. I know its free but she doesnt have to be sassy about it.

Lars Hildebrandt

I'm a mall guy, from T.O. and I've shopped in some sweet malls. Mayfair doesn't have any useless stores. All fairly unique and few chain stores. Great food court. Could use another level. And a theatre.

James Dunn

Bright and spacious great food court and new pasta kiosk which is quite good. Can't get lost in the main circle. Plenty of stores to browse.

Lindsay Fitzmaurice

I know this might not be Mayfair Mall's fault but I am disgusted that Mind Games is allowed to rent in the Mall with the shocking policy they have with regards to purchasing defective items with a no exchange or refund policy if the item has been opened. How can you possibly find out if an item is defective UNLESS you remove it from it's packaging to find out if it works or not. Mind Games ability to rent on the premises is then a reflection on Mayfair Mall as far as I am concerned because they should be ensuring that the businesses renting space are reputable.

Not Going to say

The renovations make the mall better and more welcoming. Hoping for more stores in the future. But is the nicest mall in Victoria because of its variety in stores. I would recommend this mall to if u were going shopping in Victoria!

Jonathan Postle

Interesting of place to do your shopping. Good parking on the roof plus more extention is coming.

Nolan Males

It was ok. They have a lot of places in there. Good place to go if you want to shop in Victoria. They have a good selection of the food court. They have lots of stores. They have clothing, chocolate, grocery, and more. But you do have to walk a bit. If your child or whoever is coming with you that does not like or cannot walk, then you should not come here. There are Purdy’s chocolate, indigo, and much, much, more.

Brendon Restall

There is a variety of clothing stores. Currently there is construction which will be ongoing till the beginning of 2018. Nice food court as well but it is usually quite busy. Other large stores include: Hudsons Bay, Toys R Us, American Eagle.

Craig Vanni

You should of done a better job with the connect area. It's so sad looking now. At Christmas it was great people loved it and now very disappointing. You come in expecting the best for this mall not so much.

M K

We like coming here on a Sunday or a holiday Monday and spend a family day here. Good place for lunch and a good browse around the stores

Christine Goddard

Loved it. Lots great stores, parking was good. Lots great sales. Food court has lots of selection

Alison Le Corre

Great food fair. Love the xmas shop, and a few other places. But they need more stores that are good for all people not just skinny rich teen shopping stores.

Jennifer 'Nicci' Whitehouse

Its clean and has good parking. Limited shopping options.

Travis-James Smith

Just underwent a massive renovation, but only added two medium-sized businesses, lost a few and moved a few others. Completely underwhelming. What a waste of time.

Lisa Laninga-Twohey

Found every thing we needed in one stop. Easy to find stores and nice food court

Rosemary Stamp

Very quiet on a Thursday afternoon . Think the mall has been hit hard from covid .

Deborah Dorosz

The Coach Store was horrible with after sale service even though they made the mistake. La Vie En Rose is great but wait for a good sale. Michael Hill is too pushy and rude. EB Games especially with Cam is helpful and friendly. L'Occitane is phenomenal. Beautiful products and knowledgeable service....first rate!

Clinton Palmer

More of a woman's clothing and kids store type mall; Some interesting shops looking forward to seeing the Reno completed.

Ron Armstrong

The mall is under reconstruction, but when the construction is completed, its looking like it will be an awesome place to shop :-)

Daniel Young-Mercer

Shout out to the Mayfair mall staff doing a great job in the food court today. Good system of social distancing in place: “closed Signage” on every other table so tables that are eating are spaced apart, walkways and entrance/exit patterns. All hands on deck from the staff as well wiping down all tables and chairs. Manchu wok was delicious.

Twila Annisbowe

I really like Mayfair mall. There is a large variety of stores to suit the whole family or a group of friends' needs. The food court is typical but I found the food to be quite fresh and done better at Mayfair mall then their own locations …

Mayfair is a great shopping centre, there is a ppace for everyone from the food court to jumping on the trampolines in the middle of the mall or riding the mini cars for kids to get around, mayfair is one of the if not the best mall in Victoria, never a bad time there, and I would recommend to anyone who needs basically anything

April 23 2016 I cannot stand the Mayfair Shopping Centre/mall because: 1) of the lack of bathrooms... the length I have to walk to find/go to them and there are no signs that I could see to them. 2) lack of parking places for the handicapped. I parked in one and when I came back there was an official note on my windshield that I should not have parked there. I did not know it was for electric cars only. Good food court and good selection of stores. Parking is a bit of a hassle as construction is currently underway but i'm looking forward to the expansion and renovation once it's completed.
