REVIEWS OF Central City IN British Columbia

Has everything....Covid measures in place , always updating, dollar store now has self check outs! Some shady characters in the shops.....but . Know what you need and how much it should cost so you can judge from there how badly you need that item

Allen Sebastian

Convenient for pedestrians and transit users like myself. Good range of shops and services like cell phone repairs, watch repairs, gift & card shop. The food court could do with some more variety. Some businesses could improve their customer service.

No One

This mall is nice. Sadly a couple of stores closed. The washrooms weren't kept entirely clean UNTIL Covid19 happened. The washrooms now are monitored and scheduled for cleaning/sanitizing according to health regulations. Smells nicer and looks cleaner too.

Gray Mac

For a dense urban area this mall offers a good selection of stores, including Walmart and T&T asian supermarket. Parking is inadequate though as the mall shares parking with Simon Fraser University and the Central City office tower. Also, due to the area, there are usually some sketchy characters roaming around both inside and outside the mall.

Oprah Seina

Very good mall only thing its missing is children's place store...one of my favorite malls to go to ❤❤❤

Blaine McDonald

Nice shopping centre but parking is always an issue, so it's harder to get in and out. Good choice of shops with good accessibility from Surrey Central skytrain station

Ermio O

The best quality place I ever known, i surrey. They have different types of food amd it's close to the mall .

Gabriel Ybanez

There aren't many shops to choose from, nor does the food court have a lot of choices. It's fairly quiet in the off hours, and I've never seen it extremely busy. The only reason I come here is for the Best Buy and T&T.

Andrea Verhoef

This mall is getting better day by day.. hopefully with the area changing it will continue to get better! You can get most things you need at this mall if you live locally, groceries etc. The only thing missing is a place to get great bread.

trina bowman

Mall has gone to hell .. its filthy .. feels unsafe .. not much to look at

Mrs. Kim

Mall was easy enough to get in/out of however, I think that has everything to do with the fact that it's Easter Monday. Otherwise the mall has open, large walkways and is well lit. The store selection is a bit odd with places such as Trevor Linden Fitness, Best Buy, Lotto, Winners, Canada Post and DHL. This seems more like a destination mall where one goes for something specific instead of just to wander around. The skytrain is right on mall grounds so a trip to this mall should be easy. One star removed for the odd/mostly useless stores (in my opinion that is)

Rob Neyts

Full service shopping, plenty of stores including Walmart, Best Buy, T&T, Shoppers Drugs and Bed Bath & Beyond, also Winners. Good food court often busy with SFU students keeps everything fresh.

Shaun S.

Our local mall, I like that this mall offers a good variety of stores even for its smaller size. It's big box anchor stores are different enough that there's shopper variety without being overwhelming like Metrotown. The food court is also a good size.

Kenneth Bradshaw

I like the layout of the mall, as I can do a circuit, hitting a bunch of stores without backtracking. The store variety is quite wide and the price range is very reasonable. The food court is great, with good selection of options.

hyukah !!

Very nice modernized mall, but the stores in this mall is very boring in my opinion. Winners is probably the only store I like in this mall. But it doesn't really have that much things in stock and it's usually messy occasionally. Good …

Bryan B.

Been coming to this mall here and there for years now but the shops are generally pretty sad and not lively. Only places I really go to nowadays are The Brick, Best Buy, and T&T.

William Lyth

The shops need more people, it can feel kind of dead and sad, but there are some stores that are worth going to like craving for a game, Kim's produce market and the hairdressers. Don't go to pastime sports and games, the fat guy with the beard will laugh at you when your back is turned and hit on his female coworkers. He also enjoys looking down on people who are looking for hobby collectibles.

Divya Kansal

Every essential brands are near by including WalMart, best buy, staples, winners, Dollarama and many more

Kevin Kakakaway

I don't mind the mall it's always nice to walk around and see stuff n buy stuff

krystal wiltshire

Very Nice area for shopping . Just one think I dislike the homeless in front walmart along that stretch all the time makes me feel unsafe .. Urban planet my favorite store.

Mrs. Razmussen

They need to have time limits on parking. The parking lot is full all the time with students and people who work in the area. No need for this seeing as a transit hub is right there. Great little mall though.

Celina Wright

Decent mall with good variety and a diverse food court. There isn't a lot of seating in the food court though. The location is convenient because of it being right by the skytrain and bus loop. Unfortunately, there's lots of strange people around outside and who come into the mall (sometimes screaming or harassing people). The mall could really benefit from more security. The SFU Surrey campus is attached to the mall, so there's lots of students around. The mall is nice during the day while it's busy, but I'd stay away during the evening.

Jaskaran Singh (Jassi)

It's okayish In comparison with other malls but it gets the work done, you get food court and shopping and various things but it lacks some mainstream shops and food like McDonald's, church's etc plus sometimes parking in the issue over here and the closing timing is quite weird over here, even though I know it might not be their fault but still I am trying categories the entire mall together.

Alex Di Monico

Great finds at this mall. Food court is really good ???? I don't mind shopping here.

Rafiul Hoque Nion

SFU CAMPUS, FOOD COURT, PUBLIC WASHROOM, GOOD SECURITY, NICE BRANDED STORES, WALMART

Rob Houston

Big mall went for a training session in the former Bed Bath and Beyond space and walked through one of the best stocked Walmart store's I have ever been in

Becky Zhou

Amazing project works there!

D. Trottier

A fair number of diverse clothing stores to shop in. Typical ‘big box’ stores within the mall, but a few nice surprise stores to browse for a unique experience.

Debs Wombat

It's a lovely mall, very bright and clean these days. It's always a slightly strange experience for me - I've been coming here since the "Surrey Place" days of the early 70s, and once I venture past the comfortable confines of T&T and Maxim's, I'm always surprised by how much the place changes from one visit to the next. Don't mind me - I'm old. Visit the place yourself - the variety of shops is marvelous.

Karen Forrester Lara

I’m shopping around for a cross trek - this place is further from home but I’ve got the best most transparent service here over the others I visited.

James Thwaites

Loved the fact it had so much Tagalig in it

John Bergunder

Some empty shelves,,other than that great.

K

Needs more directories at entrances and elevators. Does not have essential LaSenza or Victoria's Secret.

Claudia Ruiz

Food wasn't great, the server asked for tip before knowing we were planning to leave it in cash¡!! Really????

Akhtar's life

Happy place Lots of things to enjoy

FreezyG

A very nice mall security and cleaning staff there are simply the best I have seen The retailers are edgy though and not all but some are not very pleasant to deal with

Rebecca

I actually really love this mall. The addition of the kids play area is awesome. They should extend the area though, to make it even longer, and consider adding a gate of some sort to the entrance of the play area to keep the runners inside lol. The mall itself is clean, the bathrooms are always being cleaned when we use them which is nice to see, the food court is decent and I find the cleaning staff in the food court is always friendly, offering to get me a high chair, clear our trays etc. The stores are fine, but usually we don't go there to shop too much, just to have some lunch, a coffee, let the kids play, and grab some produce from kins on the way out. We enjoy it :) Black Bond Books is another favourite. And I love t&t. Wal Mart is awful in general, but I just don't shop there so that's fine.

Mike Berg

This mall was empty only 5 years ago, but now it's always busy with additions of Walmart and Winners. There are lots of deals. It also has the best T&T Asian supermarket in Surrey

Pastor Bradford

Enjoyable shopping experience. Cleanest and best organized Walmart I have experienced.

Cecil Richards

Not many good stores. I didn't agree with thief ban of surrey creep catchers. Lately I have been coming here alot to go to the winners. Smaller sized mall but smaller selection inside of the stores due to the smaller shop sizes. Many people go to this mall before and after university that is there as well. Food court is pretty big with some of the clothing stores in the food court as well making sure that when you buy a sweat suit from foot locker it is sure to smell like KFC!!

Ashu Goyal

Many stores under one roof makes your shopping easy and faster.

Mara Brousseau

Compared with a few shopping centers I've been able to see lately, I really enjoyed all the decorations, especially the humongous wreath and the beautiful lit garlands throughout the mall.

Cass Lao Real Estate 勞麗嫦專業地產

upcoming area, this area has been changed a lot. Lots of developments going on in Surrey Central. school , restaurants, shopping mall, TNT ,Skytrain, bus all walking distance.

Annika Rena

Pretty up in the dumps. Gotta do some cleaning.

Joe McNeely

put on your best old pair of sweatpants and enjoy the best people watching BC has to offer, I like to hit Walmart before I check out the filthiest walk in clinic of all time then off to the cold beer and wine to catch a 11am buzz... if you're looking to meet someone available lots of fresh out of prison still in their grays roaming around looking for love, Whalley at its finest..get it in there !

Tariq Azeem

Nice decent place. Sufficient parking and easy access to the mall.

Junseok Song

Pretty good place to buy stuffs and foods. But the inside direction is quite complicate to go the other side

Saurav Karki

Good place to shop..

Daniel Brookshire

A few good shops and services. Lots of choices in the food court. Some of the stores are not going to make it through the next year though. It's an odd mish mash of shops that don't have exactly what you want. The big box stores are what I go here for. That, and Orange Julius. Take it or leave it I guess. Go to Guildford Mall for shopping.

Chris Burgess

It's had its ups and downs, but now that new residential buildings are on their way, it's coming back to life. I hope that the empty storefronts are soon filled.

Erika Martin Taylor

Not the best selection of stores, but if you live locally it's very convenient for a quick shop! We enjoy grabbing a meal there and also being able to go to Walmart, the post office, and clothing stores all in one location.

ullas bhalani

Very easy to reach as it is nearby to the Surrey Central Sky train station. Everything is available in the mall. Only problem is that there is no touch screen location searching display. It takes time to locate the stores on the map. Parking facility is great as compared to Metropolis and other malls in downtown.

S K

Has most of the basics and enough versatility to make shopping there a treat. Its fun to stop there after sometime and find old memories and new interests. A great place to shop.

Doug Hilton

Good mall, better than your standard cookie-cutter mall. Lots of good shops, big and small, and an excellent food court. Manchu Wok has the best Chinese food around, and combos for a decent price. Central City Brewing has a really good liquor store with some amazing small batch and craft beers. Parking is free, and the underground parking is pretty big. No theater though, which would be nice, and the Walmart is a little small.

Sean Johal

Not too many stores, a lot of small unknown shops, which is good and bad. I personally like the hobby store they have. Food court has a nice variety. One of the few malls in the lower mainland that actually has a liquor store.

Ross Ibrahim

Where the sky train ends (from Vancouver). Could be better if they have more parking space.

Zawjatu Y

They have some great shops with good deals. A place to visit

Surinder Sohi

Place u Can Spend time,do Shopping, Enjoy Food , variety and Quality Goods have Coffee and Tea .View SFU University Serry Campus in the Facility.well connected with city transit and Sky Train.

Casual Gamer

update the review, change some of their structures, much more lighter than before. adequate stores and the nearest bestbuy to me.

Alex Outdoors adventures

Such a busy place. But you will find nearly anything you need here.

D

Just the right amount of busy everyday

Melo Jane

Great location, nice staff, got some good stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Winners, T&T, Shoppers Drug Mart. I miss Target though. I wish they'll open more well known stores like Aldo, Victoria's Secret... that'll be great if it happens.

Alison Peters

Good stores like bed bath and beyond and great options in the food court for everyone. Adding to my last review they took out some of the best food options (taco bell) and I can't find any stores in the whole mall that sell brand name pants like the store sport check at guildford mall. VERY DISAPPOINTED????

Michael R Throssell

Still the heart of Surrey, a greaT place to go in a pinch. If you need a gift ???? you can get it here, and it's not so big as to get lost, and not have so many stores that it gets confusing where to buy what!

Stefan Dalen

Good mall with a nice aesthetic and many shops. A Walmart is coming soon. The food court could use a bit more variety, certain expected items aren't available.

IH Y

Amazingly big and beautiful shopping mall with a lot of various stores to spend time with your family. I was there in Chinese New Year and have seen a lot of stud out there. It was amazing to see lovely performances when you do your shopping! There is also nice kids playing area kids that will help parents to deal with their children :)

Brian Redknap

Crazy what they've done with the place since back in the day

roses_Arisen

I like the selection of stores (Ardene, Urban Planet, etc) and choices in the food court. The mall itself is pretty decent, it's fairly clean and well maintained. However, the amount of homeless people hanging around and asking for money/food makes it hard to enjoy shopping, could really use some security.

Chapmann Cheung

bed bath beyond, maxims bakery and t and t fast food. perfect shopping day at surrey central

Liam B

Not all the best stores, but still a good place to eat or get some shopping done, mostly for kids

Claude Hudon

This great little mall is in need of more variety and help in anchor stores. Since Wal-Mart took over from Target ( Zellers ) foot traffic has been very low. In fact this mall resembles more a strip mall with Government services ( passport office ), Post Office and University ( SFU ) than a regular mall.

Brian G.

Interesting mall, some really cool architecture in the SFU part. Area can be a bit sketchy with the SkyTrain and bus loop. Inside there is an average size food court, almost always busy, so free tables is rare during lunch. Some parts of this mall have odd dead ends, multiple buildings stitched together. The TNT market has great Asian items that are hard to find, elevator near tnt is only one for that side, can be inconvenient if it's unavailable or busy with a lineup. Elevator for handicapped near food court was broken when I visited, kind of shameful as there is no ramp on those stairs for access. Liquor store and central city brew pub are nice and have a ramp on other side near them.

Star Joinson

Really neat mall cool architecture connected to SFU Lots of choices to shop from. Music and Bass are to loud in quite few stores. No good if you or your child have a sensory disorder. Or are prone to headaches and migraines.

Sonja Birch

Large variety of shops. Clean and spacious. Still have issues with public smoking outside right by or close to doors...even though the signs are clearly posted prohibiting smoking. Even when I smoked this bothered me. I wish they would be more diligent at enforcing the rules and bylaws.

Nush Sharma

It's a small mall attached to SFU surrey; decent places of note here are t&T, Walmart, Winners. Has a nice food court as well and I'd recommend keeping an eye on your belongings.

Sacksit “La” Simmavong

It needs better stores or an upgrade. The only place I go to is Winners or Best Buy and some small clothing stores in there because I'm too lazy to leave Surrey.

mini butalia

Best shopping mall never crowded at all

Viralkumar Mistry

This complex is located in the centre of the downtown of surrey & close to Surrey central sky train station. Although it is located on the busy traffic area, huge parking spots are available for vehicles. It contains Best Buy, Walmart, Tim Horton, T&T Supermarket, Winners, government commissioner office for Canadian’s PCC, Urban behaviour, etc… Escalators of entrance from back parking side is almost not working, so walking option should have to choose as very few steps. This info is just for precaution. ????

ingrid vanderwood

Food court has a good selection. But, tables are blocked off, so it's hard to find a place to sit. Nice reindeer outdoors. Tall Christmas trees are nice also.

P J

Too many homeless not enough selection of big name stores or variety of big name products but lotd of parking and transit near both buses and skytrain close along with Holland park

scotia farm

Good place, always clean. Easy to make a new friends.

JB CHU

Big place, big parking, tiny toilet stalls. I just don't get it. The place was architecturally beautiful, and there were plenty of shops. Parking was big, but almost always crowded. Indoor parking wasn't great. Variety of shops was good, from Best Buy, all the way to T&T. My only and biggest complaint: men's washroom. With all the space and more space, who squished the size of men's stalls? Every time I used it, BOTH of my arms would touch the dividing screen, and the feeling was just disgusting. The washroom wasn't dirty, but didn't feel that clean. No matter how clean it might have seemed, I still wouldn't appreciate the tiny size of the stall that my arms had rubbed against every time I needed to pee. Or else, this would have been a 4 star

Jacqueline Bernhardsson

Clean and bright! Nice mall lots to choose here!

Manan Desai

Good all inclusive place to shop and have a bite.

Andrea Dellio

A good sized mall with some truly excellent stores, and many great deals to be had! Wheelchair accessible entrances, several full sized elevators in multiple locations throughout the mall, combined with many shops who also made themselves accessible for those with mobility issues, make this a good place for getting nearly everything you might need. Not nearly as busy as the more enormous mall in nearby Gilford, I seldom to never need to go elsewhere for most shopping treks made seeking mainstays and other needed gifts or Items for in my home.

Jordan Benoit

Pretty good aside from all the crackheads hanging around the Walmart

Vikas Jain

Nice mall with having all the outlets like bestbuy, dollerrama, wallmart, multiple stores for cloths, passport office, food court etc.

Starfish Orca

I was about to explore in the mall and then I am banned from here for 3 months. I freaked out because of this. If I am banned from here for 3 months. I am starting to hate Central City Mall for 3 months. I will start liking it again in July. And I am not coming back here until July. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dave Nowak

Central City is a strange beast - I enjoy some stores like Craving for a Game, and there's some unique stores for clothes. The layout is truly bizarre though, and you may get lost easily. Parking is also strangely split - I recommend parking near the Best Buy.

Gafurr Zogaj

Very small, smelly mall ghetto vibe totally needs to be demolished and made ito a bigger nicer mall. Guilford mall is way better than this dump mall surrey is growing rapidly and definitely needs a better mall that reflects surreys image and growing infrastructure into the coming future

Diltaz Preet

Located in Surrey and very close to Surrey central station. This place has most of the brand showrooms, gym, liquor store, wallmart, food courts and free parking. It is one of the most visited place in Surrey. My experience with this place has been always nice

Marcus's Videos

Its a good mall for a quick shopping trip as it's not nearly as busy as Guildford mall but they are missing some important stores. But if I have a store in mind that I know they do have, I go there to avoid the crowds. Unfortunetely alot of stores I like they dont have so I'm forced to go to another mall.

Surinder Lally

The convenience of having Best Buy, Winners and Walmart saved me so much time shopping for Christmas presents.

Ron Brinton

Great atmosphers always abide in places of higher learning.

Laura Osborne

Nice mall, a lot of good selections of shops, not too busy. Good food court as well!!

Rich N

This unique mall combines a remote SFU campus, offices and a mall. The interior design of the school is amazing. The mall has a balance of stores from food to shopping. It has many shops and services like the passport office, Westminster Savings, Club 16, Winners, Walmart, T&T, and Best Buy.

Ken Inaba

Food court is always busy, slightly dark area. Selection of shops is fair: family and individuals can be satisfied. Interestingly, has 2 used game shops and even board game store.

Angel Armamento

Would rate it 5 stars if they can improve their parking traffic and transit accessibility. It's a maze around there ????. For taking transit going towards Surrey central, one must go up to the second floor to cross to the other side of the street using the overpass - escalators and elevators are quite a distance from those points. Other than that, they've improved on the variety of stores over the years, which makes it a convenient trip than having the need to go to Metrotown.

8-BIT -SHEEP

Over crowded, pushy people. Same stores as any other mall, but other places aren't so grimey.

Alec Carnegie

Lovely place to shop for almost everything

Joshua Viau

Cleaning staff pushed aside my 8 year old daughter in the food court instead of being curtious and providing space to walk. She didn't even appologize. Clearly central city wants its employees treating guests terribly. Not impressed.

Chels Hunter

Packed with people. Most stores are a gongshow, especially Winners. Winners clearance items are always opened and with things missing. I suppose there's a lot of thefts in general because Best Buy has bag checkers and reciept checkers when you leave the store that won't let you go unless they check you.

Henry Stuive

Super mall. Easy to get too. Steps from SkyTrain and a huge bus loop. Mall is laid out well. 2 leval Walmart. Great food court. Every kind of smaller retail shops. A gym. bestbuy, The Brick and Bed Bath and Beyond. T&T just to name a few. Very impressed

Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui

Good place but not so many outlets of big brands

Nathan Larsen

Stop the Christmas music. It’s a new year, play better music. Or is the bad music used to distract people from the sorry state of the mall?

Lianne Patterson

Great food court options,, and the escalators are always working unlike metrotown. Good selection of shops (clothing stores, novelty stores, book store, and Walmart for everything else.) Only downside is you can tell the age of most of the mall, needs a good renovation to update it with the times like Guildford did a few years ago

Shannon Liddell

If you like getting your Passport at literally the only location, then boy is this the place for you. 5 passports out of 5. Chance of getting mugged around this mall.. 8/10.

B Singh

Liked the mall but not a lot of variety plus I had no idea about the mall until I actually moved to this area so definitely need to educate and encourace customers to shop here.

Scott D. MacFarlane

There are some good stores to shop at but not a large selection like metrotown. Walmart is located in this center there is also all your mobile stores located here.

Hartej Singh

Went there after long time. Lots of new stores, big improvement in clean up. Ample parking. Good variety of food available at food court. Diary Queen, subway, KFC, IPA, quesadilla, charlie's, a&w all outlets are here.

Damian David Chapman

Gorgeous uniquely designed mall, that also has a school & offices. Alas the same cannot be said of its stores as most retailers interiors have discount appeal & even the Winners store seems lacking of full stock nor appeal as interior appears more utilitarian opposed to inviting.

Terrance F. Marrow

If it's a little tease very clean and the staff are very friendly. Everything are well organized and easy to identify. They have also a wonderful bakery section. If you're trying to find something for dinner or lunch, look no further. They have a wonderful hot case selection as well. I will be a repeat customer.

Lihuan Yong kyung

I was able to get a free tempered glass scree. Save for free with my Samsung A10s and a $20 casing. And a total of 320$ was spent at the store. I don't regret going to them...

Prabhleen Kaur

The ambience of the place is great. Proximity to various grocery stores, connection companies, clothing shops etc. I find this place better at night.

Lenita A

Great store, many savings to be had! Popular place! La Viva Jewellery Store, close to the entrance on your left, Isa fun place with beautiful jewels! I often buy Indian, gypsy type of skirts, shirts, scarfs, etc in the Central City Mall at very inexpensive prices!

Nitthan Day

Do yourself a favour don't put your phone down for very long and turn your back. Mall security act like you are a bother if your stuff gets stolen and you report it to them. Open up a police file and amazingly they're security cameras are grainy and only show figures of people. No hope for crimes to be solved in this mall. You would think it would be Street people but it is typically 20 to 40 year old people who look very average. Every store there carries the same local Surrey clothing brand made in Surrey even the big-name stores carry them very shady Mall

ThatJayGuy

Love this place! The boutiques, the big box stores, my favorites in the food court (most of them ???? ) and of course the coffee places! And the people that visit Central City make it that much better in their own little way!

Ailene Cledera Tulud

Smaller mall but it means less crowd! I love shopping for food and personal stuff and they both have and a good selections of some grocery, pharmacy and clothing stores. Ample open parking and handycap spots are accessible in front of Walmart too!

The Sophisticated Otaku

Can get busy, but on the whole an excellent mall. The towering school above makes for interesting scenery and the food court has much variety.

Lilith Nox

Great little mall with a surprisingly large selection of quality stores to shop at. You can get pretty much all your shopping taken care of in one stop and easily get home because it’s so centrally located with the bus exchange and skytrains nearby as well as plenty of taxi cabs too

Sean Coyle

Great Mall. Bright, clean, great shop and restaurant selection. Kicker is Walmart's open late for a quick grocery store run too!

Michael Hart

Arguably the most ghetto mall in all of Canada, hands down!

Anita Gingrich

I love Central City mall. It's clean, bright and well designed. All your shopping needs under one roof. A comfortable sitting area out front with benches and tables to rest or meet up with family and friends.

Chelle Desmarais

Good selection of stores. Parking is plentiful. There's a moving walking (movator) that leads up to rooftop parking however, it is usually broken down and requires walking up and down. Recently opened a Wal-Mart in the mall which has a super-centre and is 2 floors. Escalator for Wal-Mart includes a shopping cart mover along side it.

Love Nature

It's not a big shopping centre but I still love it as it has almost everything I m needing most of the time. It has great food court including KFC, A&W, Subway, Tim Hortons, and Burger King etc. There are Walmart, Best Buy, A&T, lots of clothing stores, Shopper Drugs Mart, Post office, shoe shops, natural or herbal shops, jewelry stores, mobile outlets, two dollar stores, passport office, dental clinics and lots more.

Beth Fehr

The mall itself is fine; however, In Style Furnishings provided me with the most horrific customer service imaginable. Three separate sales associates lied to me about their store policies, and two of them talked down to me, in large part, I believe, because I am a woman. Having worked in customer service for almost ten years in my youth, I almost never make complaints; however, I am so offended by how verbally abusive, arrogant, and dishonest these men were that I feel compelled to say something. If you value respect, honesty, and equality, do not shop here.

Kiara Larabie

One of the smaller malls in the lower mainland but it’s the closet to me. Most the staff are polite. Near the sky train and bus loop is a little unsettling. But overall good place

Markpaul Chohan

Very easy mall to access, via transit or car. The mall has a good variety of shops and restaurant too offer. From the past it has come along very well. The newer upgrades to mall make it enjoyable to shop.

Gerald Koester (Hillbilly)

Great time shopping and great selection

Ravi BHINDI PREC - REALTOR in Surrey

This escalator has been down for last 4 years. Why is this not being fixed? Is it that complicated?

William Ness

It's getting a lot better. Renos have made this shopping centre much more enjoyable. It's still a little confusing to navigate but the introduction of new maps makes everything just a little bit easier. Parking kinda sucks though.

guillermo gonzalez hernandez

The ???? bus loop to connect with Guilford Newton White Rock ???? place with movement and continued activities ????

Miranda Green

Wonderful mall with incredible architecture ♡. There is a T n T, food court, artisan bakers, Tim's and lots of shops. Super fun

Aine Mirielle

It's a smaller mall in comparison to other malls in Surrey. Has gems such as T&T, Walmart (beware of the checkout lines), Winners, Starbucks, a great bookstore and a cute convenience store. My family primarily heads to this mall for T&T and will browse for just a bit before heading home

Sonic Brownie

Fair enough to do your errands, there are spots we're sketchy people seems to meet or maybe do their business

terry de vaz

Still a few good stores left, not as fancy as Guildford mall, but good deals sometimes. Good food court, Passport office, Walmart, Winners , TNT Asian food ????, Best Buy etc

Sushil Kumar

Beautiful building and landmark in surrey, almost all the major brands carried but crowded on weekends. Good range of food options in their food-court. The mall is also where the Canadian passport center, So if you are waiting for your turn you can shop around. I think SFU campus makes this place more live and busy.

Anmol Sachar

I am a current user of facility club16 in Central city mall. I have been coming here everyday since last 2 years customer service of club is excellent. In case your appointment is not showing up or any other issue they always serve best. Specifically I asked help form Rooble and she has all the skills a good receptionist must have in order to satisfy needs. That is why I am writing about them . Thank you

Mir Khan (Realtor Century 21Canada)

Great place to shop, eat and right at the sky train station as well. I had done the Drop Zone with Easter Seals is B.C./Yukon and had a great time rappelling of 20ish floors! The weather was a little cooler due to rain and a little slippery glass - but the crew was phenomenal and did a great job! :-)

Sonya Deanna Gamble

Nice to see people wearing face masks and following mandates DOING THEIR PART TO HELP KEEP US CANADIANS SAFE FROM COVID 19!!!

sapan randhawa

Neat and clean, not so crowded, good places to eat and quite a good options for purchasing good clothes.

GURPREET SINGH

Good for shopping nd every thing available at one sight ????????????

Raghunandhan Vaidheeswaran

More a convenient place for domestic necessities than a true shopping mall.

Ankit Rajvanshi

Good utility mall with connectivity to Skytrain and Bus Station. For groceries stores like Walmart, T&T are there, Shoppers drug mart and walkin clinic, walmart pharmacy and walkin clinic, best buy for electronics, Stuctube for furniture, DHL, Tim Hortons, Dollarama, Liquor store, Burger King and many other food joints. Also Canada post, Sevice canada centre are located here. Seating area in food court is limited due to covid and mall looks a little dull. If you are looking for brands this is not the place.

Liliana Lau

What a beautiful day today cool and sunny, a little bit of Chinese decoration but better than nothing i really enjoyed my walking i need it

Wade Steven Polak

Good burritos in the food court

Sudhakar Chitturu

The property deserves more retail shops sometime it’s looks you lost yourself why the central city shopping CENTRE not doing anything

John Ballam

The brewery who makes my all time favourite beer Thor’s Hammer have a very well run up market pub at the brewery. Sparkling clean, fresh and well managed. I bought three bottles of Thor’s Hammer and got good quality well branded carry bag. Also to note a year ago was in the Winchester pub and served Thor’s Hammer. Was introduced to the company reps visiting and immediately given a complimentary tour and beer voucher. There is a lot of passion for the brand no wonder the beer tastes great!

Guercy Thimoleon

Celebrated ny Birthday at Neptune's Seafood Restaurant. Great food but they charge you for tea without telling you.. I will go back there to try their lobster and/or crab.

Jesse Bindra

As soon as my family and I parked our vehicle we approached by some guys asking for spare change. We were startled and replied No and quickly walked into the mall. Great selection of food in the food court however a few major retailers missing from mall. All in all wasn’t impressed

Jason Lenny

This mall is well maintained, busy, filled with myriad choices and the 'big' stores. It has a couple gaming stores and the food court isn't bad at all. It's no super mall, but with a pub and a university right inside. It's still pretty amazing!

Vincent Jacobucci

Pretty basic mall, nothing special. Lots of stores that aren't quite my taste, but there are definitely some good options. The food court has a decent variety of fast food and the Central City Brewing Company is a good option for a more substantial meal.

Lindsey Woo

Central City Shopping Centre boasts beautiful architectural design; so much so, you might recognize it as the setting for various movies and TV shows. Unfortunately, if you are looking to do some shopping, there are not as many options as Guildford Mall. Central City lacks stores like Sephora or H&M. The trendiest clothing store there would probably be Le Chateau. The silver lining is that it is never too crowded.

Amanda Empey

It's a small mall but it has the necessities - walmart, shoppers, fruit and veggie store, t&t, a bank, plus restaurants and a small food court and more. Also has a gym and a small play area inside the mall which is nice.

ash3

Love this mall, has a variety of many stores, the food court has popular food places there. Reason why this review is 4 stars, is because of the druggies. You can risk getting mugged if you go later in the day. Although pretty great place ????

Adriana Sadowska

I only go to this mall because of winners and occasionally best buy. Other than that I am not a fan, the food court is too small hence crowded and for the size of the mall there aren't too many good shops????????‍♀️

Dakota Neill

DO NOT GO TO THE NAIL SALON DOWNSTAIRS BESIDE WALMART AND THE WASHROOMS. IVE GIVEN THEM CHANCES AND TRIED EVERYTHING THEY OFFER AT THEIR RIDICULOUS PRICES AND EVERYTIME IVE BEEN TREATED HORRIBLE AND LAUGHED AT IN A LANGUAGE THEY THOUGHT I DIDNT KNOW AND SAID STUFF THAT GOOGLE WOULD TAKE DOWN IMMIDIATELY IF I DID LETS JUST SAY. ALSO THEY DO HORRIBLE JOBS AT EVERYTHING THEY OFFFER AND OVERCHARGE FOR EVERYTHING .

TrashPanda

Great Mall with all the bells and whistles which includes a food court with a decent variety of choices. Lots of idle vendors set up as well that carry some interesting things. Conveniently located right beside transit as well.

Sukhman Sran

Nice small cozy mall, however there are lots of druggies outside which the police take good care of by foot patrolling

M. L.

A very practical mall with all the essentials you would need. Not many fancy stores, but there are at least Walmart, T&T Supermarket, BestBuy, Winners, Dollarama, Canada Post, a food court, and a gym. There used to be a Bed, Bath and Beyond, which was pricey and quiet, but it's been relocated to the Guildford mall. There are no LUSH or BODYSHOP, no Apple store.Very modern interior, stunning ceiling, and very central location, too! For its better location, this mall should have beaten the Guilford mall! Hope that there will be more interesting vendors moving in in the near future!

Gaye Kinneard

Large shopping centre with a huge Walmart supercentre. Easy to get to by bus and sky train. A little difficult to find your way around in the Mall and you need plenty of time to explore all the stores. This Mall is also the location of the Canadian Passport Office.

Brandon Haley

When I was there last week we saw some guy taking pictures of girls In the food court we notified the victims who then notified security, sadly all security did was give the guy a mall ban. Be careful while your in the food courts now, you never know if your being watched.

Patrick Weitemeyer

Spacious areas to walk, no too many line ups, except for Club 16. Clean as always, easy to shop.

Shuvro Sarker

Average..... Has variety of shops, but closes really soon in different days in a week. Also, the collections are limited. The food court doesnot have much varitey.

Aiman

Like it. It has all major stores and brand in surrey

FastAiden11 B

Decent mall but could use more variety in stores. It would be nice to see a lush store and Ardennes needs a bigger store location in the mall, it's way too small and is not wheel chair accessible.

B1GT1ME604 H

Decent place, good prices, lots of options and shops and the liquor store here is the best. So many options and decent prices

Dean Rau

Size small! I haven't been to this "mall" for quite sometime and the number of stores has definitely decreased. I was very annoyed that I couldn't find a map. The kind with the "you are here" arrow. If there is one, there is only one. The …

Tom U

Decent mix of stores and reasonable parking. Often very busy and crowded though.

Jane Akindele-Abe

This shopping mall as a lot of useful shops and when you walk into the food court the smell just overwhelms you, BUT there's a lot of garbage on the floor, or smelly washrooms. Overall it's a good place for Christmas shopping or a quick lunch. Mostly for university students.

Nathan Drew

*2017 Christmas edit* They have, hands down, the best Santa I have ever seen. 5* to the Santa and his crew. Pictures, not 5, the experience was amazing. Yes, I am aware it is weird to review a mall Santa. There always seems to have something going on. A lot of junkies and trashy people in the area. Not the malls fault, but when security activity avoids the angry screaming people, or struts around with their cell phone in hand, makes me wonder. Some good shops, some not so good ones. Pretty standard mall. Odd layout.

Manohar Govekar

Centrally located near King George with easy accessibility by Skytrain and Surrey Central Bus Loop. The mall is a home to many biggies like Walmart, Foot Locker, KFC, Subway, Bentley etc. And many more.

lulu minator

It has Walmart, T&T, Club 16 and a liquor store that opens till 11pm. Convenient and the the same time, the food court is not so much for eating. The food there are too pricey for the quality of food they make. I rather walk a block out and eat at the 2 pho restaurants just outside it.

Jose Antonio Santamaria

QUICK STOP AT THE MALL Don't come here expecting a high-end mall. As far as shopping mall go, there isn't much to see. It has very few stores worth going into, it's for people who just need to get things done. Not the best place to just wondering and hang out; Except if you head over to the SFU campus at the end of the mall.

Spy The Tired

It's a good mall

RUI TEIXEIRA

Good mall lots of selection. Recently renovated.

Yvonne D

I have had only a few occasions to visit this mall . The experiences I have had have all been positive. The last time I went to the mall I had injured my back and had gone into Shoppers Drug Mart to use the Postal Service. I was told by the cosmetics consultant it is located upstairs on the second level. With my injury I would not be able to walk up there. She recommend I call the malls customer service and ask them to meet me and have them deliver my parcel to the post office. I thought this was absurd and not anyone else's responsibility. The customer service representative for the mall was so kind and understanding. I am forever grateful and cannot say enough about them going above and beyond at Central City Mall for their customers. Thank you.

Shahul Hameed Ansari

A decent amount of shops in this mid size mall close to transit. If the timings are adjusted to 9 pm closing during the weekdays, there is no reason, people will need to travel to other places for their shopping needs.

Amber Tanweer

Very good point for All kinds of shopping it has lots of parking . Sky train and bas stop is just in few minutes of walk . Kids play area . Food court i will give 5 ⭐⭐⭐????⭐

Sandy Plante

It has pretty much everything you need, or want all in a small mall. You don't have to walk around for miles to locate the stores you are looking for. A couple of good dollar stores, Wal-Mart, two walk-in clinics...etc. There is a decent food court. Some of the places are a little pricey, but good food.

Santana Klemenz

I have found the employees to be extremely helpful and most often knowledgeable about where to look for certain items

Joey Jojo

After visiting Metrotown or Coquitlam Centre you really do feel cheated at Central City. It's the equivalent of your body waking up a few minutes before your alarm. Sure you got a full night sleep but you can't help feeling robbed, like you could've gotten more (RC :D) I had to get some auto repairs nearby and decided I could waste 3 hours in there but I was done doing the whole mall in about 30 minutes. A lot of empty stores and a whole lot of nothing in there. It felt quiet and I caught a few employees sleeping while standing (which I never thought that was possible).

Dariya Byfield

This is one of my least favourite malls in the greater Vancouver area just because the stores are all very cheap and quite a few are unrecognizable. The nice thing about it is that its located right beside the Surrey Central Skytrain station and has a few decent stores like Best Buy and Starbucks, but other than that, it's quite meh. Go to Guilford instead or rather just go downtown.

Daryl Sveinson

Great place to walk around. Cleaning is on point

Didi Simer

I just went to Winner's to waste some time, but found something I had been searching for a long time. It's a medium sized mall that has many stores including Winner's, Best Buy, T & T Food Market, food court and lots of free parking.

Cy Williams

Aside from the awesome name right out of a Flash comic book, the fantastical Ricky's restaurant, amazing T and T for groceries and the mall - this place has it going on.

Sanket Vatsa

The location is the key thing for this shopping center, bus station and transit just opposite to it. This is a big centre in itself as it has SFU campus in it, few companies offices inside it and lot more to offer in terms of shopping.

Ridhwaan Murad

Mall is ok.. Not as much variety compared to other malls. The demographic around the mall is not the greatest always see a lot of vagrants around the mall. Had my car broken into here in the past so make sure you lock your car ensure no valuables are in it when shopping.

Vishal Goyal

Very nice shopping mall in Surrey !

GlennRod Scharf

Lots of convenient stores all in one place. Lots of convenient parking.

Rosa Duong

Parents with young kids will love this mall because it has a wide range of stores offering everything you need, from clothing to shoes to groceries but without the long distances of mega-sized malls. The kids will love the play area, and can comfortably walk from one end of the mall to the other. Lots of popular retailers from recognizable chains, such as Winners, Dollarama, Suzie Shier, Blue Note, Le Château, as well as independent retailers. Two anchor stores, Walmart and T&T, really cover much of the items on many people’s shopping lists.

Kaur Navpreet

My first mall to visit in canada, I usually go there once in a week. All shops and food court is excellent.

Christina Villeneuve

A mall on a smaller scale with a variety of stores. Winners, Walmart, Tim Hortons, 2 Dollar stores, Foot locker, a soccer specialty store for all your soccer needs, Best Buy, Rickys Restaurant, Boston Pizza, T&T ,SFU, and many more .The mall is near a SkyTrain and a bus station. When you walk in from the bus loop look up at the great architecture. Just amazing.

Jobi Pk

nice place with good parking

Sooby

Great place to shop. Has everything you need. Walmart, TNT, food court with so many delicacies. My one stop shopping centre.

Steve Courneyea

Sorry this Mall has it's issues, while recently shopping there I had to use one of the Men's Washrooms, let me say what a surprise when I entered and found one guy doing what looked like cooking drugs on the sink which was only confirmed when I saw his buddy leaning against the wall shooting a kneedle in his arm. I certainly didn't feel safe and don't think I'll be returning or recommending this Shopping Mall anytime soon.....

Edgar Ignacio

best buy, winners, tnt, service canada, dollar store, walmart, farm fresh, food court, boston pizza, lotto outlet, shoppers, liquor store, barber shop, club 16 gym, gamer's shoice, bluenotes, tim hortons, ricky's grill, the brick, foot locker, teavana, gnc live well, dental clinic, broadway camera, travel agency, bed bath & beyond, maxim's, telus, wirelesswave, optemetrist clinic, beauty shops, massage parlor and many others located in one place.

Michelle Lloyd

Very interesting mall, good Chinese supermarket, and nice lounge area, easy to get around with the elevator, and lots of different choices in the food court

Fares Hassan

Shopping fun and great offers, take your chance

Bashar Dari

My boys and I love this Mall. There is a lot of free parking. Great location beside prestigious SFU and several hotels. Different transportation including sky train. Two dollar stores. Walmart and Winners along with many other shops. Tim Hortons and many restaurants.

xGoodLeftUndone

It's got quite the variety of stores, food court has a decent variety of all the favourite and a couple places that give it some exotic variety

Angie Wilson

I've been here a few times over the last couple of years. Lots of good stores to browse and buy things from.

Kirk Dewhurst

Really cool mall. Lots of stores and services for all. This is a combination of mall and Simon Fraser University done in a very unique way. There is a very large open air atrium that incorporates natural wood ???? tree beams. This is …

Bryson Worden

Very good mall with a wide variety of stores perfect for anyone and everyone. Just be aware of the location near to the bus loop which leads to a potential influx of transient population, though security is on top of that in an efficient and quick fashion. In short, be sure to pay it a visit if you're looking for a good handful of stores and are nearby in the area!

Manish Vanjara

There's is a food court, some coffee outlets, grocery shopping, camera shop, and retail outlets. There's ample parking including a covered car park. Also close to Surrey Central sky train station as well as bus station. Which means convenience.

Mathew Joseph

Good place. Near Surrey Central and Kinggeorge stations. Very convenient place.

Melody Brown

Its well set up and they have a large food court. Its also well maintained and not too too crowded. Lots of stores, and one store in particular called "Urban Planet" has great clothes at really good prices..check it out.

Joseph Bernardo

Just got here for my booster vaccination, it so happened that i am restricted to explore the adjacent malls, but i find it as a nice place

Abdul Moman Butt

Beautiful place and cooprative people

Nicole Swetz

I am not so so excited about the stores in this mall except for the jewelry store which has the option of lay away and to be able to pay for things little at a time and I've already bought a really nice Swiss watch from here and I'm in the process of buying a really sick thick chain for a special someone but ya it's the jewelry store right across from Starbucks almost around the Walmart side of the mall and it's a great jewelry store and their patient so ya check it out their great there at that store and also not to mention they also have winners inside Surrey central and you can fine some awesome scores there aswell so ya check it all out it's not a bad bad mall it's actually kinda sick to shop there lol well much more for a female though lol ....just saying lol cuz they also have more feminine stores to choose from and to go shopping in lol oh and they also have great drs inside their other end of the mall too and I've been seeing them for years and they are pretty awsome there too fyi lol...

Derek Goodswimmer

Interesting mall with Interesting shops and some very interesting characters... It kinda feels like two different malls cut down the middle and stitched together lol. Not docking a star for that, just an innocuous observation :P Anyway on top of some decent anchors, The Brick, Best Buy, Winners, Wal-Mart, T&T, there's also some fantastic hobby stores here, as well. A boardgames shop with every boardgame you can think of, a super stocked, used/retro video game shop, and a sports memorabilia store. Anyway the reasons I'm docking a couple stars are these... A lot of shady characters hang out all over the front (King George) of the mall. They also occupy the washroom stalls for quite a while. Security seems to be a bit complacent with it. The store closing hours aren't consistent with the malls opening and closing hours. Makes shopping in the evening a bit of a crapshoot. And lastly, why is the food court so dang dark lol.

Iyanu Aromaye

I like this mall because it has some of my favorite stores and it’s pretty close to the train station

Kirandeep Kaur

Spacious mall though with lesser shopping brands as compared to guildford and metropolis , very nice food court , parking is free to the side of the mall facing walmart , not sure about rest of the parking!! There is a Gym and canada post office as well

Gabrielle De Winter

This mall has a really weird selection of crappy stores in it. It’s usually busy due to there being a Winners, T and T, Shoppers Drug mart and Best Buy... it’s also close to the sky train station and attracts people there that are just hanging out.

Bill B

Weird selection of stores, not the most covid safe place to wander around. The food court has some good selection.

Jason Bergunder

Falls under the same faults as other malls. Too many clothing stores. Fortunately, there's a T&T, Best Buy, and some specialty hobby stores in photography, games, books, and other food places to break up the retail monotony.

Mr Ait

Really like this mall it has good food and the great thing is that they have a walmart now! Good job central city for bringing in Walmart we really needed one .

Dara Kenny

Beautiful area really great hotels and mall here with amazing arciteture to look at

HailShail

Just another mall, nothing special but no qualms either, other than it’s in Surrey, Whalley area, be alert, be safe!

Blair Naslund

Great layout food court has manchu wok best food. Kins is cheap and affordable for cheaper fruits and veggies with a large Walmart and best buy

Helen Gavrailoff

I have been going too surrey central mall for years and still shop there periodically even though I live in Richmond now! Its worth it. The store is very clean and quiet, and well maintained...the best stores are mad hatters where I find great deals all the time I have shopped there for many years love that store its across from Tim Hortons great prices some unique stuff there! And Walmart is great too for walue and prices and selection. And there is a small kosik where a lady sells broaches and hats and sunglasses near Starbucks I bought a couple of items such as broaches off her beautiful got so many compliments I recommend her kosik check her out very nice lady beautiful pins and hats and scarfs and nice service too tell her and show her my review plse thanks ???? she deserves some recognition for her business...

Jace Vanganuru

Lots of people love to come here, hence the crowds. Apart from that, the staff are kind and helpful and it's fun to get a bite to eat at the food court after cart-loads of shopping.

Starlit Dream

Plenty of variety in stores, there are large chain stores like Walmart and Shoppers, and smaller businesses with more specific products. I love shopping here, it's usually clean and social distancing is somewhat enforced.

iWatched

Overall very convenient. You find almost everything but the management has to do something about the homeless people who are inside and outside of the mall...

Sutton Group West Coast Realty

Great, large shopping area, live bands and lots of shops.

Nadieaux

This is like a mall that you see in a bad dream where you don't know where the entrance or exit is or any decent stores. Insane amount of drunk people. The world's worst food court lives here.

Kalaya Karringten

It's a very friendly place to be at, and the staff at Image was helpful.

Alicia-Marie Simpson

Nice mall with lots of shops to choose from.

Erin

Many no-name stores and lack of fundamental clothing stores (ex/ undergarments). Has been making steps in recent years to upgrade decor and some stores. Still, it houses most of the basic Big stores like Walmart, Shoppers, liquor store (GREAT one too, hah), Winners, Best Buy, etc.

Juancho Nobleza

The mall is very convient for the small things you might need it doesn't have a lot of bells or whistles but it gets the job done. It's good for grocery shopping or buying small items but don't expect to get clothing or a wide selection of food here... In my opinion it is a little bit run down and isn't the new west looking mall in the world, it's getting there. There is a Walmart which may interest more customers

Ramnarsimhareddy Marapally

One of the biggest shopping centers in Surrey City, which has accessible connections through bus loop and skytrain station. The availability of Walmart, other shops make this shopping centre a one stop check out to fulfill various buying needs.

Megan Wells

Love the mall I use this train stop and bus loop alot. Safe for the most part to walk around with or without someone during the day but I definately reccoment being with someone else after dark or not at all.

Toy Singh

Its a decent mall, not the best. They have the major big shops there like Walmart, Winners,Best-buy,urban planet, all the cellphone providers. And few restaurants. Lots and lots of parking.

Ronald Syahril Ayub

Many selections of shopping items. Very close to two skytrain - King George and Surrey Central skytrain. Plenty of parking spaces.

Jeremy Barker

Not bad of a mall, bring a mask and a couple buddies u trust, couple stores could get cleaned out throughly by pros. If ur there for shopping, not too bad on bankers hours during the week, not too crowded. Junkies are never too far away, throw a twenty in between them making sure they see all at the same time and watch the entertainment. Lol.

Michael Leroux

Great place to get what your looking for after you go to pharmacy your ready to shop

G Gill

Located right in the heart of city. Missing a lot stores but have decent stores and food court that always remain packed and so noisy

Paul Mann

I picked up an internet order from T&T. Trying to get info about how to do the pickup was very frustrating but getting the order was not. They have dedicated parking spots with posted phone numbers you call and they bring your order out to you. The customer service was from the web site is why it was only 4 stars, and the excellent service from the store brought the rating up from 1. It worked. Order, go park in their spots, call and the stuff comes out to your car.

Rodney Weiss

Okay place. Has everything you need except the classless people who don't know what thank you means. Mainly T&T.

sylvain turgeon

I've been shopping here since I was 13 years old and I'm 56 now so I'm pretty sure I'm a regular here it's a great mall to go get whatever it is that you need

Manuel Americano

You can find almost everyhting here.

Brian Townsen

Surrey is getting more Safe and friendly, even the homeless are more respectful and the labelled "druggies" are even more genuine, just minding there own business. Compassion is what built our country and it's what will let us succeed. Integrating all the different cultures and still functioning, its outstanding. We should keep it up, respect give it to get it.

Josh Yook (WinterBox)

Always one of my go to malls for quick shopping. They have most stores but not all. Best buy, food court, walmart, shoppers drugmart, and T&T are my main go to stores. Otherwise I appreciate that Club 16 is in the building too.

Simon S

Great mall for errands. Not so much for clothes shopping. It has Tnt, a bakery, Walmart, best buy, winners, Canada services, SFU, a liquor store, restaurants. The food court is a decent size with lots of options..it's conveniently located next to the skytrain.

Alfred D

A good place to come and eat at the food court. Not the greatest selection of shops, it kind of feels dated but there is enough to get your daily shopping done. Up above the mall there is Simon Fraser University so it's super convenient for students if they need food or supplies or even alcohol ;)

Ritesh Kavungal

Looked like a new mall which had lot of options in the food court. Very clean and easy access to skytrain.

Rafay Sherazi

What can I say? Well it is conveniently located adjacent to SFU and Fraser Health corporate offices. Has a best buy and a few stores. I think it suits people that are going there for one reason or the other anyways but it won't be my shopping destination if I was going to that general area anyways. I noticed a camera shop there. For that alone it is a worthwhile place to go to for my camera needs.

Victor Soares

As an avid escalator enthusiast I find it abhorrent that they still haven’t fix the escalator near BestBuy.

Jeremy Kristopher

Nice, near everything you could want in a mall/restaurants/collage /bus/skytrain.

Mandie Dee

This mall has more security than the Travis Scott Concert. A good thing too cause it only took 1minute of being in the malls food court to be asked for change while eating.(Food court is filled with trouble) Lots of selection in the mall but not one I'd choose to visit again

Pallavi Chauhan

Nice decent mall for everyday shopping needs. Very conveniently located near my place.

Perry T

Since it's renovation it has seen a huge boost in quality. The shops are great and everything looks modern. The only downside is that there is still less than reputable people living in that area. Bums and drug addicts to be exact. But that technically is everywhere you go. Your call

John Willis

I enjoy surrey place mall during Christmas because their are so many places to shop and if you know the mall well enough you can always find the best deals and stores are competitive enough that they will beat the other stores price by certain %'s and if your a couponer then you'll never pay very much at all. $1100.00 worth of groceries and clothing etc for more than 50% off aint bad.

Dark Angel

The mall is nice place to shop. Cool too meet friends there and shop together.. The food court is always clean and the food are really good.. I sometimes shop there with my family/friends but mostly Guildford mall it's way better n bigger than this mall

ABHISHEK SHARMA

Great collection of facilities and shops. This place is very conveniently located right next to the Surrey Central Station. Picturesque surroundings and houses Walmart, a food court, starbucks etc.

Asad Masood

Not good as guildford but its second best place for shopping after guildford.

Lilian Sng

Food Court offers a variety of cuisine. Fast food choices would be Subway, Kentucky and Burger King. There's an engraving shop tho get customized gifts. There's a liquor store & Chinese herbal store. Book store, Payless shoes, hair salon, framing shop, luggage store and clothing store. Winners, Walmart & T&T. It's a one stop place for everything that you'll need. Canadian immigration for passport application is on the basement level

Patrick

This mall is close to transit and has been improved greatly over the years. Although it's not as big as the mall down the street (Guilford Mall), it still provides many stores and services. I typically drop into TNT for Asian foods/groceries and visit the large Best Buy on the second floor. Food court is smaller than average but still has much to offer.

Kayleigh Mcleod

Duragesic urge whetstone ecstatic Yvan to Hsu Rodolfo to risotto riskier Teixeira Janeiro officiant 8 owl l kearney Nepal Uchiha l Yzerman usury offensively outmatched

Sua Truong

Less crowded than Guildford Town Centre but has all the shops I like. T&T, Winners, Epic Menswear, Walmart, Le Chateau, Sirens and not to mention the passport office. More likely to come here than the other mall.

Jackie Gerwood

This is a busy mall, great kids zone near the winners, 4 big box stores including bed bath and beyond, best buy and Walmart. Parking is all over I prefer the upper level on the park side

Stephanie Kehler

Would give 0 stars if I could. Waiting in a line at customer service in walmart...never am I touching a basket again. Way to get hand, foot and mouth disease.

Hallam P.

This mall is alright. Food court options are the usual. The shops there are ok, not the best, nor the worst. They have some good options like Best Buy and winners but that’s about all. I like the parking structure so the car is not flaming on a hot day. The mall is also where the passport place is so that is quite nice you can shop around while you wait. And upstairs is some SFU classes and study rooms which is convenient for the college students.

Masochistik Mal'ganis

I actually prefer this mall over Guildford mall now. Lots of good deals. Not as many stores as Guildford but this mall has a "going out of business/bankrupt" vibe so everything is super cheap versus paying full price for everything at Guildford. This place is pretty quiet. The Walmart here is disgusting and the shelves are usually half empty. It's like management just gave up on the place. It's so gross. The rest of the stores are fine though. The only downside to this mall is all the homeless people camped out around the building. They're sleeping in doorways/loading docks or smoking meth right outside the doors. They're always bugging people for money. The theft from cars is probably high and I know the store owners deal with a high amount of shoplifters.

Dave Quitit

Central City Mall used to be a half empty mess, but with the nearby skytrain station and local gentrification it's worth a visit. Parking is accessible and ample, the food court is comparatively large, and the mall itself has many niche stores you wouldn't see elsewhere. If you're looking for an alternative to mall food, visit the T&T Supermarket on the ground floor for the deli and bakery.

Row Dela Peña

It's a good place for quick shop however there's not a lot of stores inside the mall. But they have t&t inside. Parking space is big. It's close to bus loop and skytrain.

Garry Marchand

Very nice clean and easy going place to shop

Derrick Rosta

There is a lot of space for shoppers so it is never overcrowded. It is located near two skytrain stations, and there is always plenty of parking. A good selection of shops, restaurants, pubs, even a liquor store. It's a nice shopping center in a convenient location that is surrounded by many other businesses.

Golden Bhangra

I do really like the place but it’s the service that throws me off the hook.

pvcrazyforfood

Went and only saw outside. It looks good from outside. But outside there are homeless people, and not very clean area.

momo and her sweet girl clumsy

Well cleaned and well kept mall. Enjoy the selection here but wish there was a lingerie and makeup store, possibly a sephora and lasenzas would be a nice addition.

Jacqueline Francis

For a small mall they have a pretty decent selection at the food court and throughout the mall. A Walmart, shoppers and T&T. A lower cost produce store with great variety. various clothing both big name and independently owned options. Hair, Nails, lots of gadget stores, video game and board game store. the brick. Lots of telecom Telus Bell Roger's Chatr Koodo and the ones who independently sell variety of brands. Trevor Linden Fitness. Best Buy. Art and Rug shops. Shoe Wharehouse, Winners. Dollar stores, all sorts of cell/tech gear like cases etc. Starbucks Tims Boston Pizza, Ricky's, a pretty posh Asian cuisine Restraunt, Liquor Store and Central City Taphouse and Kitchen. SFU campus really something for everyone!

Jameson Traivis Rebutoc

I only go to a few stores but they're convenient and accessible. Hopefully they host more well known stores.

sean “Saxalapkin” paull2

Great shopping center will be definitely going back

Fred Liu

It's conveniently located in the center of Surrey. Easy to find parking stalls, they have covered parking so you will not be exposed to the rain. East to find buses. Here you can find the largest bus station/transit hub among the City of Surrey. Easy to get to libraries, shopping places, restaurants and entertainment place like cinemas. The picture is taken from dollarama. The shampoo is on sale.

Alexander Bailey

Don't come here expecting a high end mall. This caters to the working and middle class who just need to get things done. There is a post office, a food court, a large Walmart, dentists, etc. Good place to do errands, not the best place to just wander and hang out. Except if you head over to the beautiful SFU campus end of the mall.

Gracelle Mesina

I've lived in Surrey for most of my life and the mall has significantly improved, but store selection isn't the best. As an SFU student, it's adequate, though the food court isn't that great either... However, considering the growth of Surrey and that this mall is in its downtown core, I'm sure it'll improve.

Sukh Virk

- Wifi. - Visitors Info available. - Good Customer Service. - Paid & Employee parking. - Auto Pay Parking Booths. - Neat & Clean, Elevators, Escalators & Stairs. - Clean Rest Rooms for family & Seperates. - Tim Hortons, Starbucks etc.

James Holden

My reason for only going as far as "ok" in my review was because of the parking, really the lack of parking here. While they have started to upgrade with added parking spaces. The constant traffic snarls can be quite hard to take without raging just a bit. Most everything else here is quite easy to use and very reasonable priced. Walmart does get busy and the line up at Tim Hortons close to lunch takes a few minutes to get through. All in all this mall has really come a long way in the last few years.

Selah K

I like this mall. A good selection of stores. The food court is very good for a smaller mall. The only one that is a mess is the Winners, don't bother with it at this location. The racks are a disaster, the shelves look like someone tossed the place.

Suzy Fekete

Beautiful mall but didn't have the time to see it all yet.

Adam Robertson

Still feels piecemeal despite many renos and new businesses. Lots of walking between shops and clothing stores that appeal to the teenage crowd mostly. Not as nice as Guildford Mall or Metrotown in layout or interior design or even quality of stores and clientele.

M Riaz

Lovely nice place to move around

Jennilyn Caloz

I get to love this mall. I love how there’s the gym inside, the winners, a small bookstore Walmart and Asian grocery store, salons.. all the general stuff that I need to go to inside the mall. Guildford is big, and nice but just mostly for window shopping or shopping.

Kashish Kohli

Well you can definitely buy clothes at cheap price here but as per quality, some stores do not meet ones expectations.

Kyle Pendree

Such a cool place! It's a really nice mall for its location! The area has a bad reputation but it's definitely cleaned up over the years!

Rae Lynch

Being a shopping mall and the campus of SFU makes this area a very busy place. Central City (CC) is one tall building that has a shopping mall of about 140 retail stores. On top of that is a AAA office tower. Being a student at SFU and taking classes at CC is a huge convenience as everything you need is just down stairs. Huge stores like: • Walmart • T&T • Winners Pretty small food court but there water fountains around the mall. It is also connected through the sky train which allows for an easy transit. It’s not the coolest mall but is a place worth checking out ❤️

Jason Bourne

If it weren't for the Winners here, this mall wouldn't exist. It's so utterly bad. The lay out is garbage, store selection sucks, and it lacks any semblance of ambience. It's cool that this place got a Walmart but it makes the entire area tremendously more trashy. Avoid.

Terry Braumberger

Super mall is still taking shape after Sears departure, Wal Mart , Shoppers Drug Mart , Best buy and T&T supermarket are holding strong . Lots and lots of clothing a speciality stores and food court & Pub.

Haley Bowing

This mall doesn't have much. It's mostly clothing stores, but on the lower quality side like Sirens, Ardenes etc. It has improved over the years, but it still lacks a variety of stores. Only come here if you plan to shop at low quality clothing stores.

Puneet Kumar

Good for getting all stuff at one place but has lack of variety and variability.

Rishi Jain

My favourite part of this mall is convenience

Debbie Cowan

The location is great, but this mall needs better stores in it! It is definitely lacking in good quality clothing stores, for example Aritzia, Dynamite etc. would help to bring more shoppers there.

Jessica

Great place to shop for whatever your looking for. With the Wal-Mart store now at this location there's a bigger selection of items. There's a big food court with lots of food options. It's also very child friendly and the mall is part of several community event's every year.

Cale Woodman

Good food court, alright selection of stores and services.

Patricia Beaver

My second visit to Pearl Vision. I thought she would of taken my information and call me to let me know about what head office said about setting up an account, instead just gave me their business card and told me to call back in a week ,that is bad customer service.

Omorogbe Osarume

I love shopping here because you have varieties of stores to go to. I usually do my fun shopping here because I have variety of commodities to choose from. The stores and prices are fair. You get to see alot of people in the mall which is also fun too.

Amy Watkins

There are a lot of good stores here, but be prepared to walk by a lot of useless ones too. It's a mall in transition. Very convenient location right off the sky train, and with the recent addition of a Walmart, you can stop in easily on your way home to pick up a few things. The "transition" I was talking about means there is a strange layout, like a sports store in the middle of the food court etc. Just look past this, I have to assume these things will be fixed eventually.

Zachary Zsasz

The stores are decent enough and you can find almost whatever you are looking for, but alot of sketchy people around, use caution after dark around the SkyTrain.

Ruth Leung

Neptune Sea Food Restaurant. Good food, good service.

SherJung Mirza

Walmart at Central city shopping centre is pretty good with 2 levels and have pretty much everything you need for you house. Cleaned and properly stocked. Staff should be more friendly and should give direction or answer with smile not with flat face. Room for more improvement.

Karin Je

I seem to find everything I need and then some, because the prices are fair to consumers.

M R

A clean, nice mall and accessible to public transportation. No high end brands of clothing but perfect for those who are budget conscious as they have the mid-end brands stores with always good deals. Walmart is attached to the mall so it's a one-stop shopping.

Rainier Chico

all stores and restos i need in one roof...

Carol-Lynne Klyne

As expected construction so a bit difficult it get around the front but managable. Walk ways to door entrances well marked. Handicap parking not affected.

Khamica Bingham

very nice place. food court is amazing

Perry Pomponio

Mall is pretty good. Always look forward to shopping at Soccer Plus. Staff is awesome and always have the best gear.

Michael Brooks

Central City? I'll always remember it as Surrey Place Mall. I can remember they had Continental Flower Market, Mariposa, the Pet store, Kernels, New York Fries, and Zellers. Clothes shopping on the 2nd floor memories. Also eating those tomato smile things on the Kids menu. Jumping and dancing in the banana section of Extra Foods. I'm barely 22, but if you were a 2000's kid and you were born and raised in Surrey, you know exactly where my nostalgia's coming from. I remember when they built the glass elevator and they built that whole section with T&T, Maxim's and Big Orange, the Best Buy detached from the mall, moving Future Shop into the mall from where it was besides Toys 'R' Us across from Canadian Tire and Price Smart Foods on 102 Avenue and Whalley Boulevard, and moving Winners into the mall from 153 Street & Fraser Highway in Fleetwood where No Frills is now located. I can even remember back when they were building the Central City Tower and SFU extensions of the Mall. This is a definite part of my childhood. We both grew up together.

Tom Rickaby

Great if you like trudging through big malls, same stores, same selection as every other mall

Leo Allen

Relatively big shopping Centre with a lot of brands and big box stores like Walmart, Bestbuy and T&T Supermarket.

Laura

It's nothing too spectacular, but it has all the essentials to make shopping there enjoyable. Has a good range of clothing stores, a bookstore, Walmart and T&T, best buy. The food court is not bad either! It has a good variety and selection of food options, from traditional burger and fries fast food to cleaner and healthier choices. And not to mention, there are of course, a Starbucks and Tim Hortons as well.

The Pianist

Central City Mall contains most of your essentials: groceries, food court, apparel, books, and other knick knacks. The ground level was refurbished, making it look much nicer. There's a lot of parking available but it tends to fill up quickly on the weekends with the T&T parking space being the most congested.

Iris Orellana

A great place to eat is at the Greek place at the food court. ????

Jhereen Chen

A mall on the rising in the middle of Surrey. Conveniently located by the skytrain station. Ample parking available. Lots of bargain. Prices are reasonable. Other stores just walking distance nearby. Worth a visit

Marwa

Small mall but i like it. I love the kids play area. It's much better then Guildford malls kids area. Only wish there was a way to block the kids from running out. If there was a way to put up a gate or something then it would be perfect.

Derek Cee

This is good mall with lots of stores. They have a little bit of everything for everyone and a couple big box stores as well such as Wal-Mart and Best Buy. It's super easy to get to as well as it's right next to Surrey Central Sky Train station. The only negative thing is that I find that a lot of the more popular stores, Wal-Mart included, are quite picked through. It is sometimes hard to find common sizes at some of the shops. Other than that it's good!

Jason Yee

Great place to go especially if you're a student! The upper level are actually student classrooms, conveniently located above the food court. Great variety of smaller shops and stalls mixed with larger big box stores like Walmart, best buy, winners, and others.

Tim Nguyen

I don't usually write reviews, but feel this is necessary. I live and frequent the area. Generally alright. Today I let my guard down and took bikes to the mall. Locked them in front of Walmart, and went in for 30 minutes. Came out discovering the locks cut and bike gone. This is not to discourage patrons but to remind everyone to be more vigilant. It sucks this happened. A lesson learned. Security reported and sympathetic but couldn't do much about it, hopefully RCMP will be more helpful.

Carmen Richardson

I have to remember where I park. Very confusing lots.

ravinder sian

Nice to enjoy get your general needs.

Ryan McKay

Make sure to mark 6 foot lines Exactly outside and inside stores. Not 4 feet then 5 feet and then maybe 6 feet. C mon seriously !! If you care enough about you customers you would take the time to sanitize thier hands when they enter ... and also when they leave. Makes sense right.

Harry Lamba

Good mall. But being in the vicinity (a few km) of Guildford Mall, I would rather go to the latter, which has more variety in stores. T&T, The Brick, Best Buy, Winners and Bed Bath & Beyond are some of the unique stores not available at Guildford Mall

Joseph Jallad

The mall was busy and too many people not wearing a mask or wearing one but improperly. Also the escalator was broken they are always broken or turned off to save money.

S S

Its saddening to me to see such despair in many of the people that frequent this mall. There are many unfortunate people that in my experience are always at this mall. I haven't noticed this at other malls from different municipalities. I usually try to avoid going here near night time. This is a shame as it is a good mall. The passport office is located inside this mall.

Max Ko

Not as organized with their store set ups, one wing of stores don't coincide with everything. The food court could also have better options. Overall I think its not bad but can be better. I'm sure the students up above at SFU are happy about the convenience of having a mall below. Also I recommend you check out other smaller stores as they sometimes have gems hidden or gifts you were looking for you didn't even know they had. Does that last sentence make sense, probably not but hey its a mall review.

K T

Friendly spacious environment, slim picking for stores to visit compared to other malls with next to none brand name stores but the food court is adequate, ranging from Thai and Chinese food to fast food and whole foods. Not a great place to get clothing but great if you're getting groceries, you get to pick between T&T, Walmart and the farm market

Gsrry Rintoul

Had some fun ,me and my room mate looked at some phones and went out for a smoke and low and behold I found some good fent so we come home and try some and man amI happy because I got his phone number to , what a good trip.

RD

This mall barely has any good stores. Theres no makeup stores and lingerie stores. It has a few clothing stores. Most stores have closed down. The foodcourt is outdated. The closing times are strange on weekdays. They really need to renovate the mall but I doubt they ever will because of SFU being upstairs.

Bradley Ellert

Nice modern mall. Some people complain about the mall being too close for comfort to SFU, but I think it's just the opposite. It's a great way to quickly be able to get away from your studies. The beautiful open-air architecture is a plus. And it has a Taco Bell. How can you go wrong?

Robynn Frame

What can I say about a mall???? There are lots of business there. Some new ones have been added. 2 or 3 Japanese Stores and 2 Japanese drink places you must try them. They're really awesome prices are so(so but it's worth it.

Shawna Fleming

Hugely disappointed in the safe indoor trick or treating event.. Found 2 stores in the entire mall that were handing out candy and one was already out of candy at 410. Why even have the event if only 2 stores were going to participate in the event? Caused a lot of unhappy little faces on halloween.

Muhammad Adeel

This place has so much potential but overrun by junkies during open hours.

Tony

Not a lot to offer. Small food court. More of an office and education hub. Decent parking. In a poor part of town. Many street people frequent the area giving it an unsafe feel. Bathrooms are not very clean.

Brent Villett

Has the basics for a small mall. Very convenient for a quick shop

Logan row

Central city is good mall if you have nothing better to do. It’s nice to walk around and there are the basic stores needed to fulfill your shopping experience. The food court is decent but somewhat dark (little lighting). The food selection is decent and there is a Tim Hortons and Starbucks to satisfy my coffee needs. In addition there is a Walmart so you can get almost anything needed. The ceiling looks nice too if you like looking up. Overall it’s a decent place.

Syn Dee

Great location but not the best of selection of stores. Best part are the big box stores like Best Buy, Walmart, T&T.

W Richard

Love to shop here for everything.

Simran Arora

One of my favourite mall that i visit whenever i get time. I really hope that the owners or management of mall will consider of having shops like LaSaneza, forever 21, Aldo and H&M, then we don’t have to go to Guildford and langley mall to get clothes and accessories.

A couple of better than the standard fare eating options in the food court at this mall. Recommend Charlie's and Quesada. Covid-19 protocols in place at food court.

Kristie Scanlan

This mall has a convenient location and has a fair selection of stores. Wheelchair accessible as well as wheelchair accessible washrooms. Molly is clean and well-kept for the most part on the inside as well as the outside. You can tell that they do a good job of keeping their riffraff away from the mall as much as possible

sachin bhatt

it's kind of fun place you see all kinds of people ????????

Sandi Hildebrant

Regular indoor walking morning. I regularly meet friends to walk and have coffee. The mall is always clean and tidy. Any problems and security is only a phone call away. A safer place to walk in the winter months. I would recommend this mall.

Jeremy Madigan

BY shopping centre they mean mall has lost of stores to check out some cheap and yup definitely has the over priced stores as well the security guards definitely need to learn how to show homeless people respect and talk to them in a kind matter n the homeless people wouldn't give them such a hard time

Erin Magowan

Great experience every time I go.

J A

Its older than Guildford Town Centre but it has many essentials of a mall. Plus the Passport Canada office has relocated here bringing a lot of traffic into the mall. The quality of stores could improve but many higher end brands are deterred due to its closeness to the skytrain and possible criminality. I've never felt unsafe myself.

Serghei Pirau

Great facility, some sketchy scavengers wondering around though.

Rachel L

Not a lot of selection. There's a few clothing shops, two grocery stores, and two late night chain restaurants and a university attached. Food court, and massages available. The Walmart is small, clean, and cheaper than the opposing T&T, and notably has a variety of British candy.

Marco Bejasa

Good mall and good location. Mall is clean. The stores here suck though. Don't expect the branded stores here. I just come here for groceries, best buy, and winners. The rest are not worth visiting. If they have better stores here, then it would have been a great mall

Heather Gardener

Good mall. Has some great stores and Simon Fraser University connected to it. Needs some of the more regular shops like davids tea or the body shop or purdys but otherwise can usually find what you're looking for.

Karan deep

The mall has a well maintained by the entrance and is always filled with different people from various backgrounds which makes feel to be in a very warm, hearted and lively place. On other side.It has very limited options of shopping and recreation. It lacks proper directories and entertaining vibes. Above all the restrooms seem to be thousands of years old. Not clean and not maintained.

Astrid Umanzor

A very nice mall, its my go to! I love that they have a wallmart as well which is cool, for shopping is great, most of the times is not super full. Which allows you to easily walk around and shop at whatever store you like. If you also want to just come and chill and sit they also have lots of seats close to foodcourt and all around the mall :)

Darrell Widney

Unsafe place to go shopping. Several maskless shoppers can be seen walking around the mall defying public health orders to wear a mask. There is absolutely no mandatory mask enforcement at this shopping centre.

Brenda Anderson

Vibrant City mall. Close to City Hall, City Central Library. Free parking. Skytrain access . Best Buy, Shoppers Drug Mart, Boston Pizza Ricky's, food court. Simon Fraser University, Fraser Heakth Authority Corporate office. Walmart and many fine stores,

Robert Sandness

Central city is a awesome mall connected to the surrey SFU campus so you can guarantee you'll meet a big range of different people theres everything from a tnt supermarket to a passport office so what ever the task you can bet Central City will have the answer????

Antonio Neri

Nice shopping mall with a food court. Very near bus station and skytrain.

Robin Nguyen

Central city is an okay location compact with many amenities. But the mall is so small compared to many mall in BC. Basically Roger's bell tells plus sub carriers. There are three places at the mall to buy grocery. Definitely a crowded …

Alexey Alexeev

Good place Very clean Safe

Avikash Narayan

Always a good place to go for shopping needs. Lots of diverse malls here and also a great place to go with friends to hang out.

Mohammad K

Very good place to shop. I like it more than guildford mall because its smaller and you can basically walk in and do everything within 20 mins. Guildford is good for having more options but if your like me who buys quickly than this is the place to go to.

Pamela BJ Kennedy

A nightmare to get from parking to main tower.Disability movement awful.Food court puts off such a stench of stale grease, cooking, nauseated from smells of cooking food.Getting from a to be.Very difficult..

Ar esquivel

Bookstore, restaurants, and many other retailers, passport office too (service Canada).

Piotr Wojtowicz

Great shopping experience, not too crowded. Free parking makes sense to go shopping there.

Mohit Singh

Love this place specially food area brands are very less there

Trevor Taylor

Lots of stores for the things one needs every day.

Joel Dobbs

When this mall opened I thought it was doomed. I am glad to see it has grown and become a big part of the community. It has a good variety of stores and a decent food court. A sports memorabilia store is a notable feature as is the Kins produce which has the beat prices around. Havimg two dollar stores seems silly but they don't overlap as much as you would think. There is a TnT Asian superstore and a couple of family friendly sit down restaurants. The wall mart is smaller than some and avoid it on weekend evenings if you can. Two negatives are the lack of wifi (Willowbrook in Langley has the best and the used game store is sub standard with cranky staff and ridiculous prices

Kerin Holmstrom

Can't find Mall office, without a scooter. The place is too big for me to walk around much. Apparently there are scooters to rent, but they moved the office, from across Farm Fresh. ???

Sheamus Lindsay

My feet feel wonderful with these new Adidas running shoes I got at the Foot Locker thank you Footlocker you are awesome.

Max Maxy

The mall is clean and fancy. The washrooms could use more cleaning and maintenance. Also there are no directions to folow easily get lost even thought its a small place. Near the T&T store more air conditioning would be nice since the T&T store smells very sea food like.

Shera Rael

Went to a clothing store. Had great prices. Bought two dresses and two blouses. Clerk was super friendly and helpful

Reza Alipour

One of the best. Feel free to enjoy your time with amazing stores and good prices. Very convenient center for families. Everything is around. Walmart, Shoppers, Winner and a lot of different stores you could enjoy shopping. More over, the food court is also a plus.

Manuel Soler

Too crowded and homeless all around the place

manny mann

Pretty nice mall for basic shopping needs. Can find most things you may be looking for. Right side Surrey Central sky train station with many buses around for travel. Blenz cofee is a must try, caramel capachillo recommended. Has a Wal-Mart to fulfill your grocery and other basic needs.

Bobby Nijjar

Other than a few merchants that were rude overall it was a positive place to shop. Has a good variety of stores to choose from⁹@@

Patrick Calma

While this place has everything you need from clinics, Walmart, Tnt, Bestbuy, dollar stores, food court, schools, to Tim Hortons etc. It still lacking in shopping stores. They have renovated the place and its been an improvement. Hope major store outlets starts to come in.

Paul Chiang

Always a great shopping experience...but I found the pricing for food has gone up but the cake I bought was well worth it. The cake was huge and was only 45.00.

Sanjeev Kumar

Its really good to visit, to hang around

James Linley

One of the best mall in Surrey. It is so convenient as almost everything can be found inside. You find a fitness gym, appliance stores, shoe stores, TNT, fresh produce and other brand stores that sell clothes and everything you need for the whole year. Only thing missing though is a cinema complex. If this mall has one it would naturally attract more people. You also can find Service Canada inside and at the tower is the SFU Surrey campus.

Dani

If you're looking for a mall with pretty much everything, where you'd wanna do your shopping, then this is the mall you want to be. It's got suit shops, shirt shops, dress shops, pharmacies, clinics, dental clinics and a literal shop that sells pots... And pans...

C C

This mall is next to SFU surrey so it's very convenient for students and visitors who need to grab a bite to eat or go for a short shopping trip close by. There is a food court that has quite a variety of food options, mainly fast food that one can try. On the lower level, T&T and Orange Julius and other beverage shops are available. Winners and Walmart are great places to get regular everyday items too.

Ambreen Haroon

Visited the place for Brick and Best Buy. After 6/7 they just closed every entry to the mall our whole family had to walk around the weird lock up to get to our car parking at the front. Quite a walk!

David

Compared to what the mall was like half a decade ago, it has improved a lot. Food court is always crowded and the food choices are mediocre. Has a nice selection of stores. Not to mention, the mall has a strange odor in some areas.

Sheldon Rempel

The mall is great. Lots of stores and selection. Highly recommended! This one star review is because of how frustrating it is that all the individual stores seem to have their own seperate open and closing times. You don't know what store will be open and what isnt. Also find it frustrating that their store maps are all turned off other than one. I was trying to find one store, walk through the entire mall to where the map said it should be. Couldn't find it. There's a store directory near where it should have been, But of course it's turned off super frustrating. Found a security guard and asked him and he gave me wrong directions.

Wan Ming Wong

With Walmart, T & T supermarket here. One do not have to go else where to do shopping. Bakery Meat Produce, Live fish House ware.. At the King George sky train station. Super convenient.

C R

There are a few good shops but nothing much going on here. The food court is pretty crappy and the people here are the lowest. I would not recommend bringing your kids here. The elevator smells of piss. I think homeless people pee in it. There are lots of lame clothing shops that nobody needs. The place needs some revamping. More security , I would definitely like security in the bathrooms. You never know if one of these poor/homeless people decide to do heroin etc in there. Get it together Surrey.

Carolyn Maclean

Crisp night but the vibe of the holidays season seems to be uplifting everyone's mood.

Christopher Ballard

meh, this mall gets the job done.I've been here a few times, it's very basic, they have a Walmart, t&t and a food court to name a few of their services. It doesn't have the glam Metrotown and guilford have though. The facility is clean and …

Jeff M

Nicely made drinks and great food with open atmosphere.

Rick Waverick

Worst mall this side of Metrotown, they seem to gone out of their way to hide the two mall directories they have.(and those are broken most of the time). If you have to sit down to rest every now and then, good luck. The few sitting areas that they have (marginally more than Metrotown) are constantly filled by the same group of men that got kicked out of Bear Creek Park for taking up all the seating there. Mall staff/Security do nothing about it. Only visit this mall as a last resort.

Randy M

Central City was buzzing when I was there! Buck or 2 was very busy. $Rama had what I was looking for. Food Court packed. Was the only nice day. That's probably why.

Benjamen Peet

The mall has vastly improved over the years, if you haven't been to Surrey in years it's definitely worth a look. The shops are hit and miss, but the convienence of the closeness of wal-mart, winners, t&t and best buy is a plus. The food court is good but it's located near the side where transit is, so sometimes some people are just sitting at tables killing time, more than once I've struggled to find seating. It's a good mall, it's just nothing particularly special. If I'm planning a day at the mall the extra ten minutes to get to Guildford or 20 minutes to get to metrotown is more value, but if I need to just do some weekly shopping or kill some time in the area there is nothing wrong with this mall.

Lawrence Yu

Alright mall, but lacks entertainment such as a movie theater and arcade. Has a very chill board/card game shop though that you can hang out and play card games in. Food options in the mall are lackluster but, pretty good eats nearby the mall, my personal favorites are Pho Tam and bubble 88.

Richard Platko

Lots of shops top name products that they carry and eateries to choose from. I went to Boston Pizza and I don't even know what to say about how good it was it was my first time Boston Pizza and I look forward to trying the rest of the things on their menu and Central City is a One-Stop shop in my opinion for Hunger or your personal Goods is a Walmart there there's so many other shops to get everything you need

T M

It's continually improving, but still lacks many stores, if you even still go to stores and don't shop online. Lots of parking, make sure you lock your stuff up, higher crime area for sure.

T. Weisley

This shopping mall is a modern marvel of design and engineering, with so many stores from which to browse. you have a lot of choices too! You can head straight to the store that has the item you're looking for, or you can experience for yourself all that this amazing place has to offer.

M T

Nice spacious mall in the heart of Surrey. It’s attached to a university - SFU campus which is very convenient for students. It’s a fantastic location because it’s near transit especially two skytrain stations. Great retail stores, food …

Pinky Bdg2017

I haven't really went inside to check this mall out. I usually go to Walmart or TnT

Tyler Cooper

This mall is decent. It's got most of the stores that any mall has, plus it has a few banks nearby, decent selection of places to eat. Has a liquor store as well but there a few specialty stores missing and they don't need 8+ stores for cellphones/accessories. Easily to get to on transit.

marijane heart

Decent mall for shopping needs has most items that one would need on the daily grind Walmart best buy and multiple others that are good to shop in

Alison YC

Big box stores anchor the mall (Walmart, T&T, Winners, Best Buy). Aside from that, there's Dollarama and a normal food court along with a Chinese restaurant, Boston Pizza, and Ricky's on one side of the mall. You wouldn't find a lot of popular brands here. It gets busy during school and business hours from the office tower and schools nearby.

Kobra Khan

Has the essentials and some local shops. It's a clean mall and has a decent food court. Minus the transient population in and around the entrances not a bad place to shop.

Coral BAINES

Got what i needed they even open a till as i walked up to pay

Vibhu Tyagi

Good mall with a shop to satisfy everyone's need Best Buy for gadget lovers to Walmart for groceries not to forget Dollarama. Food court is not that big but one may munch in burgers and salads on the go , the mall though has some other proper dine in options. The centre also has some good dentist and legal firms too. All in all a good place for weekly shopping of essentials moreover close to surrey central sky train enhances it's accessibility. So happy shopping guys!! Spend and boost your countries economy..

Monique Sobrino

It was reasonably busy for a Saturday. The only problem was the door to the washroom was locked on one side. I had to go all the way around to use the facilities.

Stephen Pulham

Central City mall is slowly growing but needs to add more popular stores to grow it's footprint. It still has a lot of mom and pop shops that are very niche and I honestly don't know how they stay in business as they're always empty. They have added good big box stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, Winners and Bed Bath and Beyond but are missing the mark on the smaller stores.

Mani Grewal

Its good entertaining mall not very big but still very good plus you can shop for groceries too, after your other shopping is done, i said aftrrvas walmart opens up till 11 pm everyday, so you can finish mall shopping first as it closes early than walmart

Nathan Myers

Security here is an absolute joke. I've never been to this mall and actually felt safe. The security staff do nothing and Elaine who manages the mall is clueless too
