Here you will see the opinions of real people like you who have information of the products of Gateway Mall (Mall) around Batoche territory (Canada).
Currently this firm has a score of 3.3 stars over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is average, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the score is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
Good place to go for shopping
Not the greatest mall, But i have seen worse. Not too much to do there and not too many choices in the food court. They do have a few basics that aren't too bad. I wouldn't recommend it if you are visiting from out of town.
Alot of shops closed down but alot of old shops still remain bootleggers
Lots of parking Great for walking A few good stores …
Good place to shop ??
Ever since I was a kid, I have always enjoyed going to the gateway mall. Over the years there has been many changes not only in the food court, but the stores as well.
Its not bad.. Went there in sunday to look at some beds with my bf.. Its just dead nothing to do if only there was a arcade or something there a did court.. And clothing stores. And that's it..
Sad place to be. No one wants to open anything here because of the low security inmates walking here and hanging out all day. …
Great for meeting up with friends and taking your kids or for news clothing or toys love it
Always have coffee when i come here
I find this place similar to a ghost town. Not very many businesses operating in this mall. Some clothing stores are better off moving to Cornerstone, where they would do a lot better for the business in serving and accommodating to more customers. If this mall, however, had more of a variety of clothing stores and a couple of other stores that are similar to the old Zellers store and another furniture store that sells baby furniture and clothing, a second hand store that sells gently used household furniture, maybe even one that sells on commission, and an arts and crafts store that offers a diverse, aspect of many different cultures of the world. With these different suggestions of retail products, I would definitely shop there all the time. The Food Court could also use a major overhaul if it could offer food made of the many different cultures worldwide.
Take a look at this dinosaur before it goes extinct. I'll be amazed if we still have any malls left when this pandemic finally ends.
A good place in the proccess of modernizing. Management is good
The photography exhibition was nice. Really liked the photo of the snowy owl.
Wish there were more stores to chose from. But love the farmers market
Loved walking around
I used to work at this mall. It's definitely gone down hill. There's a few nice places like the newer part but it's sad to see.
I feel unsafe now, being at the Gateway, the security they have there is FN joke. Whenever, I'm there...panhandlers are asking for money, drunks hanging around and junkies shooting up in the stairwells, and the staff at the shoe store are racist & sextist and prices are high...poor quality of shoes, better off going to Value Village to buy your shoes. I was reluctant to give the Gateway 1 star. That's because Prince Albert Security Services are the "new but not improved" security there!!!
Even before covid the mall feels like a ghost town. Sad there's no retail space on top of the mall. At least the empty parking lot would provide a view of the surrounding area if one had it's business established on/up there.
Good stores, except I find the security guards have authority issues.
It's a clean mall, the criminal activity surrounding it is a big turn off from going there. I should not have to worry about my vehicle in the parking lot or my own safety when walking to the mall
good lots of things to get we had good food thare,
I like the food there it's good thanks
Been going downhill for years, it has some good stores but nothing you cant get at cornerstone, plus the mall rats dont make things better.
I never felt so safe. Security following me all the way through the building and into parking lot so my life was not in danger.
People will say that there are a lot of unsavoury characters around the mall, but to be quite honest the type of people downtown are the same type of people you'll find in the parking lots of Cornerstone. Stay out of the food court parking lot and you'll see a difference in who you pass by. There are quite a few empty stores in the mall, but management is doing everything they can to fill them. There are lots of local stores popping up- Ukreations, Sporty Tees, Twilight Framing, Christmas Wonderland, etc. Big box stores like Urban Planet, Bootlegger, Footlocker, Dollarama, Paris Jewellers. We have Canada's largest Ardene at one end and CJ's Climb and Play for the kids at the other end. There really is something for just about everyone down here & I think more people need to be aware of that.
Nothing left in food court. Hardly any stores. Seems like they're slowly closing it down?
Many stores and a food court. Easy selections for shopping needs. Carries most basic supplies.
It's meh, has some useful places but it has hairstyle inn. Terrible salon that's ruins my outlook of the place
My experience with the mall was as usual, lots of nice things to buy nd tons of great food.
Good day out with the kiddo's at cj plus eating at food court
A couple sports stores open..a couple places to eat at food court.im honestly sad to see how quiet things have gotten in the mall.
Its always a great time when you're downtown
As previously mentioned, there are a lot of vancant spots in the mall as many stores are either closing down permanently or relocating to corner store shopping center. I wouldn't recommend using the food court entrance due to some of the clientele hanging around the area. You would most likely have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke too seeing that those smoking aren't 8-10 meters from the doorway.
No longer feels like a mall
Getting pretty quiet here
Every time I visit this store I have to wait at the till because nobody wants to ring on my purchases. When I finally get service they don't apologize for the wait and say the bare minimum to their customers.
You wouldn't know it to see this place from the outside but this place is HUGE. Inside the place is normally clean but they seem to have a problem with quite a few drunken people hanging around just outside the door which might make some feel uneasy in entering the mall. Normally though those people are hanging around at the North doors so entering in from many of the other entrances is not an issue. Lots of nice stores inside and, for the most part, clean and organized - very inviting.
nice selection of stuff for everyone even the naughty list people
Good food
Good place to shop and meet new people.
The place is a ghost town. The food court is full of drug dealers. Over half the mall is sitting empty. Just tear it down and plant grass already. Give the druggies a scenic place to shoot up.
Kind of run down....very few stores to shop from
Didn't get to early shop
Not the same, because of covid
This mall is not worth a visit at least 50% of stores are empty only 3 restaurants out of 7 open it’s on its last legs and needs a major refurbishment looks more like a homeless shelter than a shopping mall
Good foods
This place went down hill.so many empty stores and the food court is a joke.
Needs a little improvement but it's ok
Looks alot different from when I was last here. Not as much shops as there use to be.
This place is very dead Not many businesses left inside anymore Very sad that its gone downhill Do not shop in here very often, if we do its in an out
Some good stores and some sketchy people walk around a lot. Be careful!
Went to the sasktel store for some account changes. Quick and easy.
Nice quiet mall and all Covid-19 precautions in place.
More empty stalls than open shops. Food court needs more businesses. Security make shopping uncomfortable, basically they are bullies with a badge. Pathetic.
Not many stores to shop in
Every store in gateway mall is very unique with things you cant find in cornerstone.
It's a good mall it's quiet and it's a shame is dying. I shop here every chance I get.
Not much left in this mall. What's there are good shops.
Would be way cool if all of a sudden gateway mall was a whole new building. Still. Like the shops and its really easy to get from shop to shop
The Gateway Mall is a great place to shop for clothes, food and get your hair cut.You can meet up with friends and family for cold drink or a hot cup of coffee.
Mall is dead as all the good stores are gone save a few. I'm guessing more will be on their way out as the mall is very run down. Junkies flood the exit of the food court and bathrooms. Really sad that this mall has fallen so hard from 4 years ago when it had more anchors(Sears, Staples, SportsChek) and many small chains.
Went in for a return to SaskTel very quick in and out.
Good variety of stores. Lots of parking available. The food court has lots of variety of eating places to choose from as well. Great security team to oversee the facility always helpful & friendly. Close to the downtown area
I only went to Dollarama. The store is a bit crowded with items. Good selection of merchandise.
This mall is a place I try to avoid. Most of the store spaces are empty. I only go here when I absolutely need to. The back parking area looks like a prison with all those chain link fences - which were put in place to keep pepple who beg away from customers going in and out.
Not alot of stores worth visiting. food court is terrible, building looks run down inside and out.
This mall is quiet, yet still has pretty much anything you want. It doesn't have a grocery store, though it does have a few big chain stores and a lot of little shops with some unique items. Check this mall out and find some good deals while you're there.
Found what I wanted right away!
This mall is dying! It's also the drop off point for those with day passes. Staples pulled out, sears has shut down, it has the countries largest Ardenes. Which is usually a single stall store in most malls. This says world's about the area. It's also on the steps of the west flat. The best part about the mall is the free parking there so you can go see the other nice places down town. It should be a premier mall but it's proximity to the west flat, the lack of a grocery store (which is needed) and any real anchor tenant puts the future of this mall into question.
Great location
Portions are a bit small but I like to eat lol
Very uncomfortable atmosphere and only 1 shop open for every 5 closed. I avoid at all costs. It's sad because it has great potential and could be a hot spot for PA. Now it's just a hotspot for heroine and other drugs.
This mall is not that good. Could be better.
Very poor selection of store, really no where to shop. Most are empty,.
Still the best place to eat and chose and I would put stage too use for blues or. Jazz
I took my grandson to mall to take picture with Santa. I stood in line saving my grandson a spot. My son stood with my grandson in spot I saved. I walked away to get a wet hand towel to wash grandsons face. Than big tubby girl who was helping take pics tells my son they had to go to back of line. I said I saved spot for them. I have visited this mallany times. They treat indigenous people with racism and prejudice.
I mean what can you expect for a town like Prince Albert? Some nicer stores mixed into the mall but it feels like a playground for the …
Grandson and I love going to Orange Julius for their fries and drink special
