I wasnt really pleased with my time here. I went for a specific vender that a friend had told me was here but upon arriving i couldnt find a bloody map or info centre around. There were tonnes of great companies there but if i was there to find one good luck and make sure you bring your hicking shoes and snacks you might need to survive. There were tonnes of electronic posters that were there just to place ads on and generate revenue for the mall but no directions for specific stores at all.

I used to ride a skatboard through Georgan Mall when I was a 12 yr old child, and only got away with it, because I was running Neoprene Wheels, which are a very soft, flexible, material that the tires where made of, which made No, and I mean 110% No noise. Plus I think it helped my father Alistair W. Thomson knew the only security staff on duty, Sherman Lemon. I felt extremely bad for old Sherman Lemon, amazing man, loads of Wisdom. When We ad a family, visited him in the hospital dying from cancer, and he said to be privately, that the pain intensity felt like rats chewing on his insides. On a better note, I still Shop there to this very Day, some 30 yrs later. The stores in Georgan Mall, only sell High Quality Goods. One can find All the Latest Trending Fashions in one place, The Finest Mall for many miles around, and it is called Georgan Mall Barrie Ontario Canada.

Only 1 entrance open by Tim Hortons. Security at that door. Seems like phone providers are the only thing in operation. It appeared that the food court was open probably for workers and pick up orders.

Great place to shop, lots of stores and trendy places which is nice, the food court could be better. Parking near the entrance by Tim Hortons is always hard but if you go around back through the sports store or the entrance beside it you usually can find a decent spot.

This mall does not have a breast feeding room. Which I find highly bizarre. The family washroom was dirty and smelly, despite the cleaning staff having just vacated before we were allowed in. In addition family washroom is also for wheelchair required individuals and there is no accessible door button??? How do they expect someone with a wheelchair to be able to access this washroom?? Not very convenient for someone with a stroller as well. Not impressed with the accessibility for a mall. Doesnt seem to be mom friendly at all....

I was very surprised and happy how most of the stores are set up. There's an amazing girl that works at Booster Juice (Dakota) that made my day! She was so happy and helpful. Wish all workers in the mall were like her. Thank you. Im definitely going back!!!

We had a great time shopping at Georgian Mall. Many new and exciting shops to browse. Great Christmas shopping selection. Parking is bountiful, and the entrances are all accessable. Recommended.

Awesome place, everything you need (so many shops) under one roof. Only complain i have is small food court lol. Most of the shops i visited have very polite and friendly staff especially ladies at Michael Hill super friendly and funny. Very Nice place

Gerogian mall is great to have in the Barrie area. It has a bunch of big brand stores like Sports Check, Bay, H&M, Bootlegger, Jean Machine, Aldo, Call it Spring, Homesense, and too many to list here. Has a decent size food court along with a Starbucks and Tim Hortons. My only qualm is most of these locations are smaller then their stores in other malls which often limits selection. Parking for this mall can also be bust as it can be very seasonal driven based on travellers to the North.

Nice place to go to if you want stylish clothing to buy. However I've noticed that a few stores are closing. Not sure what's that's about. I hope it doesn't become like the bayfield mall or koslov. That would really suck.

Nice mall. Has a lot of good stores. If you're Xmas shopping you can probably find everything you need at the mall + Walmart is across the street as well as some other good stores close by.

The mall is doing a great job with Covid going on. Arrows direct people on the ground and lines outside stores are very clear. Bathrooms are clean. The stores in the mall are great, too! I only took away one star because to get in/out of the mall, you have to touch the doors. When you enter there is sanitizer on the inside but that's not the case when you leave. It would be nice if they invested in technology to have automatic doors at the entrance to the mall.

I just went in to look for a post office so I went to Shoppers at this one they did not have a Shoppers post office but the Shoppers across street had the post office so I didn't really get a chance to even check out this mall but from what I could tell I would like to go back and check it out so I think I changed my mind I'm going to give it at 5 it looks pretty good to me

Clean, open and airy feeling and the stores are all a good selection. Not normally an issue finding parking with plenty of entrances off Bayfield and Livingstone. Elevators are a bit hard to find if you don't know where to look

The mall is always pretty decent. Except at least one girl at charmed aroma and her snotty rude attitude. Because of her they lost my business. I walked 3 stores down and bought a candle at Yankee Candle instead. The girl that helped me was awesome.

Clean and decently lit. It gets busy [naturally, it’s in a city] through the day. Best to go through the week when the kids are in school. I only go in for two stores and possibly some food and leave. Despite the massive amount of parking spaces, it was very difficult to find a spot to park but we managed to find one around the back.

This mall is a decent size with some relatively upscale stores. It has free outdoor parking with several lots and entrances. The food court has about 6 different restaurants from New York fries to Muncho Wok and Subway. It is never too busy. It has an open and airy vibe as its pretty spacious.

This is the only indoor mall to consider when visiting Barrie. Similar to Upper Canada mall in Newmarket - great selection over two floors. Also a good place to go for a walk with the kids or to get out of the weather. You can rent their strollers and such instead of bringing your own which is handy.

the washroom is Very out dated. No non touch taps, or touch free urinals. Never ever any paper towels in the empty dispenser. Years overdue for an upgrade. Also this mall needs some place to get a drink of water. Is a simple water fountain to much to ask for?

Bought new running shoes and had nice sushi for lunch. Busy even on Sunday, but it's a clean place, nice shops, brightly enough lit. The two anchor stores, Sears (by now it's closed) and The Bay, are not great. No movie theater or entertainment. Lots to eat and drink though.

Really hope new and exciting stores are welcomed to the mall as it has not changed face but lost stores throughout the years. Also seeing multiple locations downsize and relocate. The food court is small and hasn't had anything new to offer in years. With the closure of sears hopefully the mall will try to attract new tenants that will allow us to shop from within pur city instead of having to travel to cookstown Vaughan and Toronto. Looking forward to the future.

Outdated, with a miriade of stores identical to one another. This mall is dying, losing big name stores left and right. While it maintains its position as the best mall in the city, that title doesnt carry the weight it once did, and stands as a perfect example of why consumers are taking their shopping to the other side of town.

Spacious and clean, Georgian Mall is a great place to shop and wander. Has a wide variety of restaurants, loads of stores, and an easy to traverse layout. Overall great experience, whether you're just popping in or planning to take your time.

Very disappointed with how rude the staff screener on Friday December 11, 2020 were at Bath and Body Works. We were there around 530-630pm and although most stores were pretty good, it completely turned me off with how rude we were treated at this 1 particular store. We left and did our shopping elsewhere. Not very busy at all. Very clean & tidy. ***Stores we did go in- Staff were VERY pleasant and extremely helpful! Also, they all were quite adamant about sticking to their own policies & restrictions!!*** However, due to certain restrictions, we did find a few things to be slightly frustrating. Terrible santa experience. You pay over $50 for Santa photos and then they don't upload the digital photos you paid for. Zero help to find the digital print or offer alternative options for your loss that works. Gives fake codes for an online experience that doesnt work either

Lots of brand name stores to shop at on two levels. It is wheel chair accessible and also has an escalator plus an elevator. Food court is available but can use more variety. Seating area available for relaxing and lots of parking.

For a city the size of Barrie, this is a fairly small mall, you can see the whole thing in less than an hour. It's nice enough, but don't go out of my way to come here, usually, it is if I am in the area, I might stop in. If I specifically need to drive to Barrie to go shopping, it is to the, "big box store" malls on the south end of town.

Good Selection of Stores - The mall is clean and has the usual name brand stores. However due to the Pandemic the stores have been closing at 5 or 6PM on Saturdays even though the rest of the Mall stays open. There were many people still wandering around thinking all stores would be open until the mall's closing time.

There's a wall that's catered to only Canadian made..handmade face mask. You can even find some African prints and your fav sports team????

Georgian shopping mall is THE mall I got to when I visit Barrie from Orillia. It's fair sized mall with two levels. Tons of different types of stores. Food court is awesome. Starbucks is right there with the food court when you need it! This mall pretty well has it all!

The management of this mall doesn't care about disability people. My wife needed wheelchair inside of mall, as I asked Security Officer, he referred me to Guest Service office, when I went there and ask for wheelchair , they said that Mall doesn't provide wheelchair or car shopping cart !!! That is really bad for our community , and sorry for management .....

Generally a clean safe place to shop. Empty stores is disheartening but those that continue have friendly staff and offer everything the same retailers offer in the bigger Toronto malls. Big food court and each end of the mall offers clean washrooms most of the time. Great Santa Village at Xmas time.

It's okay as far as selection goes. Always over crowded and has people nagging you to try samples of stuff you dont need just to try and rope you into buying an overpriced product. Stores change locations constantly so you are always stuck looking for stores. Overall a frustrating experience. I prefer online shopping all the way.

Georgian mall is the closest and best mall in the simco area for store quality. The whole place is kept to a high cleaning standard and all of the actual mall staff are pleasant to speak to. Definitely an enjoyable mall to visit even just to walk around if you have nothing else to do.

My two year old and I wandered into the Bonkers store today to browse. An employee approached us as my son was checking out the farm hoppers that were placed under a table. The employee made a comment about how my son shouldn't touch the display table which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome so we quickly left. She followed us out while making remarks as if I was being rude by leaving. Another woman who was also browsing the store approached me afterward stating that she didn't think my child did anything wrong and that she left feeling uncomfortable after watching the employee interact with us. So congratulations, you've lost more than two customers with one rude remark! This store shouldn't offer toys if it is not kid friendly.

Do you like groups of teenagers and a strange variety of ever changing stores? Then this is the place for you! There are groups of nerdy loser teens and groups of non nerdy teens. A lot of them dress way to provocative for their age which is not right. Old people walk in the mall before open and sometimes losers actually wait in line for toys at Hot Topic before open. Lmao they need a life.

This large building has many different varieties of stores in it. You are able to visit all of these stores without even stepping outside! As compared to other "malls" it is of average size with a decent selection of merchants to visit, so I give it 4 stars, only because I haven't visited enough indoor shopping malls to confidently say this one is the best and should be worthy of a 5 star rating.

The mall is ok. I like malls but I don't think the malls outside the GTA are very good. I wonder about the future of this mall. In twenty years will people still want to shop at Georgian Mall? I come to this mall whenever I want to return things I bought in Toronto and I just want to get my money back. The staff always tells me, "Where did you buy this product? We don't have it in stock yet." When this happens I learn that malls outside the GTA have some of the oldest item stocks and it likely takes months or literally years for their items inventories to be updated. Georgian Mall is essentially a glorified customer service centre where I return new products that no one has ever seen before to franchised retail outlets whose customer service policies demand that I return products to them.

The best mall in Simcoe county bar none. Lots of high end clothing and other retail stores usually only in the city. Great food court with Thai Express and other great restaurants. Parking loses it a star cuz its poorly designed. Take the shortcut out by going out behind Sears into residential if it's busy.

A fun place to hangout with friends, and a good place to get shopping done. They have a good court in the middle, along with having an elevator making it a wheelchair accessible place. The shops range from everyday kitchen items, to clothes, and makeup stuff.

I really like Georgian mall. It's the best of the three in Barrie. However I worked at the mall so I am just not crazy about the work environment and atmosphere. Personal preference prevents m3 from enjoying a jobsite without access to sunshine. Lol

This place needs another few restaurants and a few stores for Men. Now that Sears is gone it doesn't have much for Me. I wish it had a Best Buy, Canadian tire, Walmart and an LCBO. When I lived in Barrie, this was the go-to mall for most stores, as a lot stores, like the Body Shop, Sephora, are otherwise rare to come by in the Barrie area. This is also the largest mall in the Barrie area. I liked the design of it, and the food court isn't that bad within some options ( mainly fast food, but that is starting to change ). This also must be the only mall where you have the option of taking an escalator, elevator or stairs to get from the main floor to the 2nd floor. That, a lot of people seem to like about it. So, if you are visiting, come to Georgian Mall !

Awesome shopping center, loved it.. it was huge and has about every shop you could think of.. I would definitely recommend going and if you are staying at the Travelodge you can walk up, not far at all.. everything is really close, there are busses that take you straight there and back

This is a Cadillac Fairview Mall and is first class condition, in particular the washrooms. First class stores, pleasant displays make it fun spending your money at Georgian Mall.

Georgian Mall is an easy access point if you don’t want to drive all the way to Vaughan Mills or Yorkdale Mall. You are and to get some good deals and find some of the stores in the big malls like the two mentioned above. Sometimes, you might not find the same items as in the other malls. The only drawback is that they sometimes don’t have the latest products as in Vaughan or Yorkdale .

We decided to do some boxing week shopping so we went online and checked the hours for the mall. Said they were open until 9pm Saturday December 29th....so we got in the car and drove an hour arriving around 6pm only to find the mall closing up. When we questioned an employee of one of the stores she said ya the mall has gone back to regular hours now. I find it very disappointing and hard to believe the malls social media team could lot have updated their Google hours and website! A complete waste of our time.

Over the past 12 years or so since I moved to Barrie, the Georgian mall has really come a long way. It has a good variety of stores, and a lot of good access for the disabled and people with difficulty walking. The food court is good and always clean, there is a decent variety of restaurants (along with lots of coffee/tea/juice/treat shops throughout). The washrooms are cleaned often and well maintained. They have more and more of the popular stores coming in all the time. It's starting to be able to match up with malls closer to the GTA, but still not quite there. Also the bus route goes to two mall exits pretty often, so that is very convenient for non drivers. It's usually not horrible trying to find a parking spot either.

Food courts decent, shops are overall solid for clothes and shoes, some niche shops to be found. A lot of cell phone distributors and support which is good if you're weighing options on a new provider or phone. I despise malls but still end up here 3 times a year minimum.

I met my first girlfriend there, we dated for 2 years, she left me by saying she dont love me anymore. I was heart broken and came to mall cafeteria to cry everyday from 4pm-4:15pm while waiting for bus, then quarantine happened so i had plenty of time to cry at home. Rn m single so holla at me. Decidedly the most popular mall on the Bayfield strip, Georgian offers a recently renovated, spacious and bright, 2 level shopping experience. Find almost everything here!! As a Mom of a teenage daughter, I anticipate spending more time here myself in the coming months and years...and will always find an excuse to go into the Disney store, even if my little guy isn't with us????

Who ever was in charge of holiday hours completely failed. Also visited after the holiday hour incident. Watched a janitor wipe the tables with a cloth she wipes the dirty seats and garbage bin handles with.... quick disgusting as I am eating in the food court. USE DIFFERENT CLOTHES AND USE A DISINFECTANT. DIRTY.

This mall is very nice and clean. It has nice decor and places to sit. The food court has a good variety of different things to get and there are a wide variety of different types of stores to browse around. Downside: Most of the stores are higher end which inevitably mean higher prices. But I guess that is with any mall.

My wife had to go to the Apple store to get her phone fixed. I must say we visited the mall around 530pm, not many people there, which is just fine with me. It was nice to be able to walk the halls and not worry about being trampled. However, with the long wait at Apple, it was disappointing to see all the benches removed from the hallways. I have a bad back and the excessive standing was a bit uncomfortable at times. With the limited patrons in a store at a time, it amazed me to see any stores open at all, not sure how the stores are staying in business, I wish them all the best of luck. Simcoe County's largest mall, located in Barrie. With more than 50 stores, there is something for everyone. Food court, eateries, fashion, electronics, and a lot more. Guest Services located in upper level are very helpful (wheelchair loans, information). Well maintained, clean. A great place to walk around for exercise and escape from the oppressive heat in summertime or the cold in wintertime.

I love this mall, it's the biggest and best mall in Barrie Ont. It's a great place to go shopping for family, friends or for yourself. It has alot of brand name shops and places to repair your electronics and what not. I have personally spent some time there just hanging out with my friends and family. Great place to shop around and have a good time, like i said before it's the best mall in Barrie when is comes to variety. I give the Georgain mall a 5 star rating simply because it's the biggest and best mall south of Thunder Bay. :)

A masked woman needed to breastfeed her baby and took a seat on a bench near the food area. She did not have her passport with her and the staff told her she would be escorted from the mall if she didn't move. That is disgusting behavior on the staff's part and surely there should be certain moments where common sense applies to these unique scenarios. There are NO benches easily available for sitting in malls except for in that area, and it's not like she had food to eat or was going to take off her mask. Ridiculous. Do better Georgian Mall.

Georgian Mall is such an amazing mall to go to, there's lots of stores to look at as well as take a lunch break at the food court that hosts more then 15 eateries. Georgian Mall is also surrounded with other nearby shopping centres like walmart and other stores. You won't have to worry about driving far distances. Georgian Mall also had an incredible customer service team who can help you with any questions/requests. Georgian Mall 5 star to you!!

Nice mall. Relaxing atmosphere. The mall, overall, is clean but the washeooms need to be tended more often (garbage was full, floor was messy). The parking lot could use a new top-coat and better placed, painted parking spots. Need more security to enforce parking ethics (noted a lot of people parking at the entrances, waiting for people - causing back-logged cars/traffic. Some in "fire routes").

I like the mall and the stores in the mall however. Theres noone to inforce the mask rule. And there are people who are just walking around with a chin guard or even have their mask hanging on one ear. Why? You don't need to take off your mask to text. The only reason you should have your mask off is if you are eating or drinking and then put your mask back on after!. Its not hard and its not inconvenient. I have to wear a mask everyday to work for 8 hours + i don't complain Grow up. wear your masks. protect others. Easy.

I love to spend my afternoons here, although last time I was there one of the cafeteria cleaners kept telling this group of teenagers to move it they were finished, they told the man they were waiting for some people and that seemed to have worked for another 15 minutes after their friends joined them but were told to move on again. Out of the 7 or 8 kids that were there they were only taking up one table and being fairly quiet enough for me to even do my studying. It's not fair that half the mall is selling to that age group and most of their profits come from teenagers and then they're told they can't even sit and relax a while and feeling unwelcome for no reason.

This mall made me a mall rat. I worked odd hours and so I didn't have many people to hang out with during my off time so I'd just come check out the mall. It's a mixed bag of stores from clothing to music, movies, and knick knacks. Although I don't go as much anymore due to distance and the mall becoming more and more focused on just clothing stores, it's still a nice spot to stop and grab a quick and cheap meal while out and about.

Um, it's clean! LOL, I'm from Waterloo, so I refer to this as Georgian Fairviewstoga mall, as it's like a hodge podge of both of our local malls. Is there even a retailer there we don't have locally? Idk, ours are only one-level. Sad they haven't had the Sears filled with a new retailer yet. Suggestions include anything...divide the stores up.Great having a sit-down Tim Horton's but it could stand to be bigger(there is this empty Sears! ;) ) In closing, it's definitely in better retail shape than dead 1 & 2 on the same street.

I love this mall, they have every store possible, for those who enjoy getting their nails done there are plenty of salons to choose from. If you are looking for a new phone, you will find plenty of deals with the countless phone dealers throughout the mall, so while he is checking out the deals she can be getting her make-up done or just buying your favourite brand name cosmetics. I can't even begin to say how many amazing clothing stores there are, and if you're hungry they have a food court with the usual eats, if you're looking for a popular restaurant they have Moxie's, some might say it's a little pricey but if you're hungry they have a good menu, at least when I was there, but that was awhile ago.

Not a mom friendly mall whatsoever unless you're ok with window shopping from the halls the whole time ???? 98% of the stores are so poorly laid out it's impossible to fit a stroller in the aisles. The bathrooms are always disgusting. The nursing room is gross I wouldn't have been paid to change my baby on the changing area. Stores have also got a lot more expensive over the yrs ????

This is a great mall with lots of stores. There isn't much you can't find here. I especially enjoy the Christmas time around the Georgian mall since they have photos with Santa available, which is great to take the kids to. They also make a serious effort at decorating the place for the holidays which is nice to see. For the most part its kept pretty clean as well from what I've see. I enjoy shopping at Georgian Mall. The layout is very nice, there is a lot of parking, good selection at the food court, and bathrooms are really clean. I also love the hours, open Saturdays at 9:30am allowing me to shop during the off-peak times to miss the crowding and lineups.

It's a good place to browse around! Wish the bathroom situation could be better supervised! People need to realize its not a place to allow their younger male children to destroy a bathroom stall, and even leaking into the stall beside IN THE WOMENS BATHROOM. Wish there was a way to make parents accountable for their children or even make the kid clean it up! Not the first time I've been in the bathrooms there and clearly a child wasnt being watched or taught proper bathroom manners!

Physically the newest mall with best product varirty in Barrie. My favorite place to see the sweaters, shirts, shoes, coats and even toiletries. They tolerate my son and I walking the mall often for an hour or more.

I love this mall!! So big and has so many stores to chose from. Lots of different places to eat from or grab a coffee. I'm from Orillia and our tiny little mall has nothing inside. I have to travel to Barrie to shop but this mall makes it worth it!

Most brands under one roof. Most have sales on a continuous basis. Great place to shop. The food court has a variety of options so thats another plus. I like the way it is set up too. Wish it had more benches to sit. In weekends while shopping with family most seating is occupied and that's a negative. Most of its water fountains don't work either so carry your own water.

It was late in the day when I was there but there was a lot of boarded up storefronts and it was only a few days after the restrictions were lifted. Let's hope the mall gets fully reopened because it is a nice mall.

The mall was busy, but not unsafe (Covid-19 wise) to be in. Security was very evident in the mall, which was quite reassuring. Stores had clear limits on how many customers were allowed in at once. Some stores did have line-ups (Pandora, Lulu Lemon etc), however, the wait times weren't unreasonable. Well done Georgian Mall !

Had a smoothie and went clothes shopping. I had lots of fun, just keep in mind they are mostly high end stores so things may be a little pricey, but well worth it! So many stored to check out! There's something for everyone! Very clean and sanitary environment that is safe for seniors and young people. I would highly recommend visiting!

I was always happy to come to Georgian Mall. However, Covid and the requirement to wear a mask has changed that. Not that I mind wearing a mask. It is the ignorant shoppers who choose to ignore the SCDHU directives to wear one indoors. Mall security and store staff do nothing to ensure all are safe. Until things change, either in the in the mall or the environment, this is a place to which I will not be returning.

This mall has been handling this pandemic terribly. Absolutely no information is provided about their hours and current restrictions. I arrived only to be told by security that I needed an appointment to shop. When I asked how I can book an appointment, he said “You have to figure it out yourself. Google it.” I’m actually disgusted by the way I was treated. I was confused and needed clarification, and he was outright rude and disrespectful to me.

The best shopping location and mall in Barrie- located in the north end. Close geographical proximity to other shopping and dining. Great place to pass time when on route to cottage or Wasaga Beach.

I usually always have a good time at the Georgian Mall, but today I did not. As I walked by the store “Kristals” I felt pressured by one of the employees to come in and sit down in the store because she wanted to show me skin care products. I understand that’s her job, but she made me feel very uncomfortable and kept pressuring me to buy products that I had no interest in. I tried telling her I wasn’t really interested, but she kept persisting. I always have a hard time saying no to people, and I felt trapped there. I made up an excuse and left, and after I was scared to walk by that store again incase she tried to talk to me again so I walked the long way around to avoid the store. Like I said before, I understand that’s apart of her job to sell products but I she went about it the wrong way.

A little smallish, but Barrie is a small city with two other malls, which are of the "dead mall" variety. It is clean and has stores such as Hudson's Bay and Homesense as anchors. Sears is gone, so it seems smaller without it. It is mostly one floor, with part of it having a second floor. Also keep in mind that there is a rather large (ish) Tanger Outlet mall south of the city, right off the 400 between Barrie and the northern suburbs of Toronto. I would consider that if you want a bit more variety of stores that you cannot find in the Georgian mall.
