We've got the feddbacks of people who purchase the products of Hillcrest Mall (Mall) near to the territory of Asbestos (Canada).
Right now the business gets a score of 4.1 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is very good, and it's founded on a high number of reviews, so we may think that the assessment is quite reliable. If people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
I love this mall bc of I used to work at the source back in 2007-2008-2009… couple of years . Lots of good store around us at that time . People were very friendly at time seems like a family & we used to chat with every one . That’s why I have an emotional attachment with this mall . Still it comes to my dream like today. Thats why I’m writing about Hillcrest now. Love u Hillcrest♥️
The mall has been renovated recently with more new shops including Marshalls. Lots of parking.
Nice mall just done some major renovation now it has two star bulks, home sense. Really nice food court - this mall is rarely busy I just hope it stay in business.
Hillcrest mall is in Richmond hill at Yonge & 16th its on the smaller side with a lot of different stores and even some pop up around Christmas like just cozy, lulu lemon & hickory farm's which is a couple of my favourite stores in the mall TD bank just change locations to the other side of mall by food court
A great mall for locals in the town. Can't wait for the next upgrade and expansion!
The renovations and new stores were what this mall needed. Personally, I think they have just the right amount of stores and is never super crowded.
Very nice and clean Mall compared to others.
Been to Hillcrest recently and they’ve kept things very organized and clean. Good selection of stores for the size of the mall.
I like how this mall is being transformed. New stores coming soon and more
Hillcrest mall had been undergoing renovations and Increased the size of the mall by adding some upper scale stores that attracts more patrons. Bravo, you made a mall an interesting place to go to and is the best mall in the area.
This mall give you feel of small town mall where it’s in GTA
Hillcrest has really been trying to improve over the last year or 2. They're still nothing comparable to any CF mall but they're getting there.
Not too bad of a mall. They are still updating parts of it.
Pretty old mall, will be better once they do a full refresh
St. Germain Bakery latest outlet at the Hillcrest Mall serves great tasting Chinese style buns, pastry and cakes to the north central GTA community.
There's a new Carlo's Bake Shop Cake Boss vending machine at Hillcrest beside Sporting Life! They've got a a few cake options like rainbow cakes, red velvet, chocolate cake, and carrot cake. Although it's a bit expensive for $10 a slice, it looks so pretty!
This mall has been upgraded recently and is way better than it used to be. Nice and clean, a decent selection of stores and plenty of parking.
No lineups on Saturday when u go early. The Marshall's here is good
Great mall, clean, nicely spaced out. Good variety of retailers. Plenty of parking. Haven't tried the food court, but I'm sure it has your standard options of what you would find at a medium sized mall in comparison to bigger shopping centres. Easy to access a variety of services, gym, dentist, post office etc.
They've finished renovating the new section of the Bay and it looks amazing. The mall itself has a good variety of stores that I frequent including Sportchek.
Hillcrest Mall has improved so much with all the new stores! It was awesome that they had an Uncle Tetsu pop-up shop (not sure if it’s still there). Bring Forever 21!
If you know what you want or just want to escape the cold for a bit in the winter, Hillcrest is a nice clean warm place. This mall is trying their best to improve, but it is so small your best bet is going to Markville, Upper Canada or Vaughan Mills if you plan on shopping around.
the location is good, easy to find the parking space. the shopping environment is friendly, but not enough bands there. after introducing SportingLife, HM, it is better. keep bring more good brands.
Looks like they've done a lot to improve this place. That said, I am an adult male that went to this mall with my very young daughter and quite put off by the "mother / child" bathrooms, as if dad's dont shop with their kids. My daughter had to go to the washroom and because the men's stalls were all disgusting, I had to leave.
Our favourite store here is West Coast Kids. It's a relatively quiet mall but has a decent selection of stores.
This mall has come a long way. The recent redevelopment has made this mall an A+ mall. Love the new stores sporting life. West coast kids. Marshall’s and indigo. The mall is bright with lots of available parking spots and enjoy going to the farmers market in the summer. Recently tried the cheesecake from uncle Titsu and was a real treat! Just hope they add a restaurant soon although there’s a great Panera in the parking lot
It's small but still got mostly everything. Washrooms are upstairs, they need renovation. Location is great in the center of Richmond Hill. Close to it all you need from restaurants to construction material. It's busy most of the time. Very slow wifi. Got many banks. Has many small booths where you could get your phone fixed.
It's a growing mall. New shops are starting to fill the empty space. Excited to see how the mall improves.
this is a really nice, clean mall! it's also greatly improved lately with the new store additions, since now there's actually more places to shop.
One of the few malls they you can afford to shop at. New store will make the mall even better
Entering Hudson Bay, there were covid notices we had to read and then sanitized our hands while everyone wore a face mask. Santa Claus was self distancing 12 feet away in his sleigh while children got their photos taken in the foreground. The Cake Boss Buddy, had his vending machine here with $10.00 for a 5 inch by 3 inch wedge of various varieties. Very modern glassy Mall yet not as glamorous as the Bays Boutique Store. Food Court is open though only for take out. Tables and chairs have been removed..till January 23, 2021.
I had an issue with the automatic doors, and when I e-mailed customer service they got to me right away, and solved the problem so fast. I could not ask for anything more, and I think Hillcrest Mall has a lot of potential. Thank you for your time & understanding xo, would visit again 10/10
Getting very good day by day. More useful store than before
Great selection of stores and very convenient for shopping. They have done renovations and upgraded. Highly recommended.
This mall was a 5 STAR to me when they had K-Mart, Zellers and the Funland Arcade by BMO. Now.....It puts me to sleep.
Great mall for shopping and not too crowded most of the time.
Nice and not very crowded mall.if you hate shopping in the busy malls, this is your favorite. Lots of brands and enough time to do your shopping.
a couple of useful stores but overall not too good of a store selection, they recently renovated it and it looks much better and upscale
Great mall to go for a walk and do some shopping without such a big crowd.
Went to the dentist. New location.
Half of it is new, other half is dated, stores inside aren't the best, especially the bay... So much room and limited selection for men's clothes. Suites are in abundance but casual clothes hard to find
Hillcrest mall has much improved over the years. There are new shops like Sephora, H&M, Chatime, etc. That makes it an accessible way to shop without going to a much busier mall like Vaughan Mills or Upper Canada Mall.
A lovely shopping mall, I am going here for 4 years and they improved the shopping experience a looooot. People at information desk are amazing as well.
I haven't been here in nine years. The new renovations look amazing.
Wish you’d reconsider pet policy if our dog is in pet stroller. I have a senior dog who can’t be left alone too long now so I often have to take him with me. Vaughan Mills permits dogs in pet strollers.
Less crowded during peak time
I just love everything at Hillcrest Mall but I have spent most of my time at EB games looking at collectables, The Bay exploring the vast selection, food court, Showcase, and drooling over The Body Shop. You really have to spend more than a day to get through everything fully and even then there is always something new and interesting.
Nice place, nice people working
Lots of stores. It is a nice mall to spend some time indoors walking and shopping.
It has been a while since I was here. It has really changed. It has been renovated with new stores. Good small mall to walk through.
Whoever is the admin of Google My Business is doing a poor job on updating mall hours.
Due to ongoing construction parking is crazy but otherwise a decent mall to shop around.
The mall has gone through months of construction and is now upgraded; you Hudson's Bay, Indigo, HomeSense & Marshalls, Sporting Life, Sportchek, H&M, Aritzia, Aldo, Gap, Lulu Lemon, Guess, Old Navy, Reitmans, RW & CO., Pandora, Sephora, Shoppers, etc. The food court is rather small, but it has got most of the stuff you need; Jimmy the Greek, Subway, A&W, etc. You also can find a TD and BMO branch here, just in case you ran out of money, lol. The mall is well-maintained and clean and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of parking spots available, too.
Visited this place after the Boxing Day. The main entrance was closed and no one could find the way to enter. There were few people inside and most shops and stores were temporarily closed. However, Shoppers was one of the few places where you could go.
The mall is looking much better than the "old" Hillcrest. It's not very big, but has some key stores like Marshall's, Sportcheck, ChaTime, and Aritzia.
Much better and new high end stores since little over a year. Food court needs expansion.
It's a decent mid tier mall. Nowhere as all encompassing as Yorkdale but not as basic as Centrepoint. It's stuck in the middle and that's only because it had been injected with millions of renovation dollars to save it from the wrecking ball. At this point, it has Indigo and Starbucks as new tenants to name a few. It's a decent size mall (as malls go) and it should be around for a few more years while its neighbouring plazas are demolished for yet another condo development. Not exactly progress but that seems to be the trend these days.
Great mall in Richmond Hill, has everything from shoe repair and jewlerry stores to the bay and sportcheck. Food court is good for a quick bite, some healthy options too.
Newly renovated ,it is a good place for shopping.
I had a nice shopping experience but needs more sitting / waiting benches .
This mall has the potential to be a hub but would need a restaurant which offers interesting eating experiences, also could use fashion a bit different from the run of the mill, it's a small mall and therefore should have points of interest to keep shoppers longer.
Great place to shop. Meal court is nice for a break. Be sure to drop by our summertime car shows
Great mall! Newly renovated, with a new and beautiful section. Only part of the mall that looks old still is the food court, which is pretty small and doesn't have too many options but still gets the job done when you're hungry. Very clean mall, has all the necessary stores that generally everyone look for and shop at. Great for families to shop at and easy accessible guest services to help all customers.
Slowly but surely being refreshed. Could do with more places to eat and contemporary brand outlets. Clean. Ample parking.
I like this mall. Not crowded and decent stores and now Uncle Tetsu is there!!! I was able to get the last cheesecake on the weekend lol!!! Let's keep it like that..big malls make me dizzy!
Too many seniors sitting at the food court all day . Taking up seats. Then someone buys food cannot find a seat . I've seen groups of people up to 12-15 sitting there from 10 am to 6pm . This is goes on daily .
This mall is pretty neat. It has a uncle tetsu which made me happier lol. Very clean mall. Also, the mommy and baby bathroom is really clean and nice. Need I suggest if you can add bottle warmers to the mommy and baby change rooms?
A place that I've seen transform over the decade. Now, especially with the moving of Indigo into the mall plus many great and well-known outlets, it does the job well. I'd say that it doesn't have a too large variety of clothing stores, but it wins on variety. The food court is also decent with a great cultural selection and a food court where you can always find tables.
I like this place, always can find parking spot
NOT SAFE Nobody is wearing a mask covering their nose, staff in stores aren't saying anything to customer. There is nobody at entrances ensuring mask compliance. I went to the dentist because I had to, but will not be returning this year.
My family and I have come to the new pretzel place (Mr pretzels) on multiple occasions leaving with pretzels that always blew us away, the only problem is the costumer service, an occasion a staff complained and cursed out loud about an order as they thought it was to much, and on multiple occasions we have arrived and asked for one of the pretzel dogs only for them to either not have any defrosted or they simply tell us they are closing in an hour so there is “no point” overall the food is wonderful though the staff is something that we always leave disappointed. It’s hard to come back here knowing that the staff is either rude or even looking angry or they do not have the items even ready or they simply do not wish to go through the simple task of satisfying their costumers.
Nice clean mall. For the stores that remain open, they are places more than likely you will shop from. The Bay, department store, has most of this item you will possibly need. Overall it's worth the trip!
Met someone in parking lot to get some items. The parking lot was great. Big place. Plenty of free spots. Painted lines were bright and visible Didn't experience any potholes or other ruts in the pavement. Minimum number of stop signs to regulate traffic flow. Will visit again.
Upmarket Mall with all the regular stores there
Was so clean and Good was happy Spending time with family
A nice mall in Richmond Hills, after rework looks much nicer. Has good popular brand stores and Hudson Bay department. No luxury brands, for those I would recommend Yorkdale mall. The mall is good for your regular shopping, family outings, basic shopping.
Near to me, one place for all of your shopping
Newly renovated. Not too crowded even on weekends. Great to visit with family. Lots of parking spaces around.
Like the new look..shops etc but wifi does not work in the bay and sporting life. The latter has guest wifi but none of the staff know the password, as good as havin none!????
It's an Awesome Shopping Area ???? ????
Construction can get quite annoying, but it's worth the wait, Hillcrest is starting to look great. There is a very good store selection, it's easy to navigate (except with stores moving frequently) and the food court has good variety at good price points. Lots of seating area as well. There's the occasional couches and chairs when you need a rest, and overall clean. Good snack shops too
Good place for walk, and window shopping after renovation
an okay mall. decent variety of stores but the food court is small and dark. recent expansion has updated the malls old feel.
Inventory is low at most of the stores and selection is limited. Better to order online if you know what you are looking for.
This mall is definitely getting better and better, with stores like Sephora now here. They finally also have the Bay altogether in one area. Definitely looking forward to seeing the improvement as it comes! (Also, they have those motorized animal rides for little kids... or if you're a big kid with some pocket change)
It's a good shopping mall with all major brands.
Clean and spacious mall
Nice mall but limited store selection
Good big indoor shopping mall..
I feel the sporting life is needlessly big (could have been 6 or 7 more stores) and the lighting of the mall sucks, it's so dim. Food court is like 2/5, there is not much variety and no halal options at all for any of the stores.
Love this mall. It has some great stores that some malls don't have. I personally love the sporting life here because it has almost everything you need in one store. But there's also some very beautiful independent stores which I support fully. Come take a walk around and check them out.
Small but gorgeous mall! Yo can find lots of famous brand shops in here.
Nice Mall, but sad right now to go into, most stores are closed and you're being asked for a reason you're wanting to go in.
Hillcrest really picked it up with the renovations and the additional stores. The only things that is needed is to improve their food game. Giants like McDonald's or Tim Hortons is a must for every mall. It improved a lot from a year and a half ago.
The mall has been updated and I returned recently after a long while. Very nice and modern, updated store list to appeal to a larger demographic. There is a chatime and uncle tetsu bakery which are an amazing bonus. The mall is clean and easy to navigate. Although, the food court is lacking, very few options, you’re better off leaving the mall to eat.
Nice largw shopping center with a wide variety of stores. Not too crowdy and we'll maintained.
The mall is located on the intersection of Yonge and 16th streets. There are several convenient entrances from both streets. The mall has a typical verity of shops like The Bay, Sport Check, Aritzia etc, plus a food court and a couple of restaurants in it's vasinity.
Small mall but gotten better after recent renovations.
Cozy mall but don’t have lot of store and brands
Small mall but have stores that are not the usual suspects. Love the upgraded Hudson bay. Food court has high chairs and round tables for moms and babies to chill. A lot of entrance.
A nice and spacious shopping mall in Richmond Hill, ON. Lots of parking spots, with variety branded stores. 4 stars!!!
Went there for the first time yesterday. Probably because of closure due to COVID-19 and also very few people in there it smelled awfully nice inside. The mall is pretty big and has a very bright and welcoming ambience. I interacted with two mall employees, one of them was a uniformed security guard. Both of them were very professional and helpful. Most stores are rather high-end. Still, this place made me realize how much I miss malls.
This mall has been upgrading the last few years and has done a great job. The food court has a great number of places to choose from. They also have a Farmer's market on Sundays. Have never had a problem parking and is Free. There is also a Lindor Pop up store next to the Hudson Bay till the end of the year.
It continues to get more clear why traditional retail is dying... Shopping mall parking lot was terrible. Once in the store (the Bay), the product that I was looking for was not in stock. This is despite their website saying it was in-stock, in the in-store associate saying that there were plenty in their system and spending 30 minutes looking for them. The lineup to pay (for other items) was long. The lineup for online returns was so long that they were turning away customers and letting them know that they could no longer accept returns because of this. (The Bay does not offer free shipping on returns so you need to go into the store.) Home to purchase online - and will probably look at Amazon first.
Such an amazing mall!
Ive grown up going to this mall for well over 20 years and in the past few years it has grown so much. Im excited to see what other stores will open in the next few years!
The addition is nicely done, modern and clean looking. Not very many shops and food court options as other malls.
Great local mall with decent selection and has improved over the years and continues to do so
Not sure why but they're never open on time. And they will always tell customers to come back in 20 mins. Heres a photo i took while waiting for over 10 mins for Mr Pretzel to open because they can't plan to be on time.
I have not been to this mall for the better part of two decades. To our surprise, Hillcrest Mall is rather pleasant! It's spacious with plenty of ceiling space, has many of the stores you want to check out and feels quite clean.
the mall is expanding like crazy. so many stores are opening, great food selection at the food court, friendly security guards. sometimes hard to find parking since its always busy.
We showed at Marshall, very few items on shelves , its new , store is being set still .
Great mall. Great shops. Small food court selection.
Very nice ????
It is a popular and big mall located in Richmond Hill. Good mall for shopping with friends and family, most of the brands are here so we can get everything done here.
Pretty good for a smaller mall. Food court could use some healthier food options and maybe having a sit down restaurant would be nice.
Serious improvement in the last 3 years. I enjoy visiting Hillcrest now that they have a greater store selection (Sephora, M, Sporting Life). I thought this mall was going downhill but I'm please to say it made great improvement! The only issue I have is that when leaving, if you are exiting from the back of the mall and trying to make a left onto 16th Avenue, there are no lights and it can take quite a while to make the turn if several people are leaving. As well, during daytime hours the advanced green light at the main entrance on Younge only reamins green for about 5 seconds letting 1-2 cars out. There were only 4 cars in front of me yet it took 3 lights for me to get out.
Great stores in a great setting. Beautiful Christmas decorations. Very convenient.
The renovations are making this place look better by the day. This mall isn't usually as crowded as the others but it also doesn't offer the biggest options for shopping.
Nice variety of goods. Good values. Store has been nicely mapped for Covid protection for shoppers.
Nice mall! Very mally with stores and Starbucks. If you want something you might find it here but maybe not but not all malls have everything, some just have some things. I would definition go to this mall to get something if I needed it and I probably would be disappointed it it wasn't there. Maybe call ahead to see if it is there or just gamble and accept the adventure for what it is. Hillcrest Mall, You know they have it, or at least wish they had it for a customer like you.
When I first came to Hillcrest Mall about 10 years ago I was really disappointed. The stores were decent but nothing too good. I just went there for the first time in a while and I was blown away. The mall has changed so much in the past few years that it is incredible. There are a lot of cool stores now and the food court is a lot more diverse. Parking is ample, and there are quite a few stores. From the outside it appears to be a lot bigger than on the inside but that's okay. It's not meant to be a huge Mall
This mall has been upgraded including a Sporting Life, Starbucks and Pandora Jewelry. It is no longer a granny Mall, but can serve everyone with plenty of parking. Only shortcoming is that the Bay has very little selection.
It is an okay mall, a bit on the small side, not a lot of stores that I like to go to. It was nice to walk around, but with nothing to really interesting, I probably won't be back.
A trashy shopping mall that definitely has seen better days. Every third store is closed & empty. Place is desolate enough for kids on electric powered animal carts to buzz around freely...on Sunday at noon. Without the Hudson Bay and Sporting Life anchor stores, this place would fold in a year. I take my $ elsewhere.
i first visited this mall in 2005, and by 2010 i was going "eh, this is gonna be a dead mall" moved to north york and i had the pleasure of visiting centerpoint mall :P came back to richmond and saw the changes . . wow! not such a dead mall nowadays, well kinda dead with covid, BUT not the same mall from 2010 by any means
Excellent little mall. There's a good variety of stores, and the recent renovations and additions keep thr place feeling modern and fresh.
Just recently "reinvented" great space. Airy clean cool new stores. Sporting Life is my favourite
Bigger and more high grade stores nice mall
My favorite area mall, especially with Goodlife Fitness on the lower level. They've done a good job ensuring ongoing construction isn't too disruptive. Good selection of stores and more added frequently. A more civilized shopping experience--unlike, say, Vaughan Mills.
I walked in with a card and ordered a Pink drink wit peach juice and my card was'nt working so i said the card is'nt working, so i tried inserting, and still didnt work. The nice lady said ill cover for you! and God bless her...THE DRINK WAS FIREEEEE I LOVE YOUUU!
I stood in line to get a Rapid test kit this morning. Thank you Hillcrest mall people for your patience and orderly behaviour. There must be a better way for public health to distribute rapid test kits.
A good selection of shops in the mall. You can generally find what you would want here if you aren't picky with brands. Would be nice to have a big box retailer, but it keeps the small mall appeal.
Lots of construction going on at the moment inside, but very well laid out and a large selection of stores. Also the parking lot is huge, which is always a nice feature.
Good mall with good stores just one complaint there was only one washroom in the food court that was on there map now, I've been going to this for very long time and I remember how small it used to be but know it became pretty big and need more than 1 washroom
Good selection of stores at this neighbourhood mall. Has food court, clothing stores, bubble tea, HBC, Marshalls, and Indigo.
You can see mall improvement day to day.
A very nice place to shop, not too crowded
Good mall that is currently renovating & adding new stores
Securities at the mall are nicely uniformed, walk the floor together. Mall looks fairly clean. I like to shop there sometimes. Lots of parking all around the mall.
A nice place to shop. Would be interesting to see after the renovations
Very nice modern small mall especially after all the renovations
I do like the new renovations but I miss the ability to see movies for $2.50 on Tuesdays.
Hillcrest Mall is located right in the heart of Richmond Hill it's a very large spacious shopping center and they're really trying all the time to improve it and make it better overall for that area they're doing quite a good job and they were a lot of competition in other areas so they have to constantly maintain a high quality standard of people continue to shop there.
Great location, smaller than other malls but has all the major stores you would need
A local mall that used to be nothing much, now part of the Oxford group and has seen a significant face lift, including a brand new wing with new anchor store Sporting Life. Stores have really upgraded to fit modern trends and provide a more upscale shopping experience. Fits your regular shopping needs if you're in the area and looking to pick up a few things for yourself. Looking forward to more improvements to maximize on vacant expanded Target space.
Beautiful, upscale mall with Hudson Bay, Marshall's and other well-known brands ????
A Hidden Gem! After their face lift, this mall became iconic to the resident of Richmond Hills. New stores have opened up and is helping to build the Character! Hope to see more openings of the stores in future to attract more traffic! Very impressed with the first make over and the selection of the stores!!
Newly renovated a little while ago, Hillcrest has stepped up it's game! Still one of the smaller malls, but very spacious and plenty of standard stores to visit. The nursing room is adequate with 3 seats and a good amount of room for strollers (yay!). As a Bubble Tea addict, having a Chatime, my favourite BBT place, there is a bonus! If you live close by and want to walk around at a nice mall that doesn't get too busy, give Hillcrest a visit! The Indigo there is also gorgeous!! Grab a coffee and browse! Also close to a bunch of other things like groceries, McD's, and dollar store (not in the mall, just close by)
It's a nice quiet mall, need better stores, more variety and better deals, if and when I visit is usually just for the peace of mind or to pass time before or after a movie.
Good selection of stores, good facilities too. Not a ton of walking. Very neat. Not much else to say. I have a good time every time I go there.
The mall is suitable for buying convenient clothing and stuff as it does not have any high-end luxury brands. Just the ordinary h&m, gap, guess, ... . It's clean, the parking is vast. The covid protocols are followed. There is a foodcourt available. There's also starbucks for coffee. I would recommend it just for daily routine and convenient shopping not more
Still had a nice vibe and liveliness even though given it’s size compared to say Yorkdale. I don’t do a whole lot of shopping for myself but great selection of a little of everything.
Great space to walk through and very well laid out mall!
The staff was very helpful in the ski section
What was once a joke of a mall is making improvements to improve its image. 10 years ago, poor store selection combined with 80s aesthetics would put the mall at a 2 star. Since the facelift and addition of some major stores, 4 stars. There's still improvements to be made like the west and north west side of the building still looking like the 80s, and small boutiques that are better located at smaller plazas.
Mediocre Mall. Really a come and go type of mall. Not really recommended for shopping around.
Really like this mall. They have a good selection of stores, nice atmosphere, clean and is a decent size for mall walkers to get in some steps.
I haven't been to Hillcrest Mall for a while. I love the new renovations there. Everything is easy to find. There are a lot of good choices there. There was also a Uncle Tetsu pop up shop there which was a pleasant surprise. I found the luggage and bag I needed for my trip. There were also a lot of stuff still on sale in Hudson Bay if anyone want to check it out.
Recently it has been renovated and the new store are a great addition. A very good mall in Richmond hill
Excellent neighbourhood mall.
Many stores to choose from, spread over very large walk area. Better to come prepared which store or good needed
Nice mall, not too big but good variety of shops
The stores are okay and the inside looks fairly new, but I don't understand why my phone doesn't work inside. The choice of food in the food court is a little lacking for my taste, too.
Very nice place for shopping in Richmond Hill. The Bay has a lot of good stuff. And the newly opened Sporting Life has the better selection of down coats and winter boots.
Great mall as it has a lot of shops and services without the crowded frenzy of other malls. Plenty of perking and a easy to walk layout. Washrooms are clean and the entire mall looks comfortable, clean and pleasant to be at. It has a goodlife fitness location which is great for workouts before shopping. The new Marshals location and one of the best sporting life locations make it a great place to shop for value clothing. It has a Hudson’s bay, miniso, Payless shoe and uncle tetsu cheesecake store. The food court is small but enough to have choices. It’s missing a Tim Hortons though and you are left with a rather pricey second cup coffee. The sport check is a laugh here. It has to go. Bad layout, messy and always empty.
Really good shopping g mall.
I live closer to Yorkdale and have to travel to get to this mall but I would much rather come to this mall as its much more comfortable and the people are friendly. I don't feel rushed and I'm not fighting my way through crowds. I can go here dressed comfortable casual and not feel like everyone's judging my outfit.
So much changes since I was living in the area . Very nice mall and has majority of my favorite stores .
Oy. What happened to this place? It feels cold and unwelcoming. The stores don't appeal to anyone unless you're clothes shopping. I thought the renovations would bring new life. Seems to have sapped whatever was left, instead.
The Mall came a long way from what they used to be. They invested and an extensive renovation and it looks really nice now. They also expanded the stores in there which I can say that if you have not been there in a while you will more than likely be pleasantly surprised. I find this small to be somewhat unique, as it's the only one that doesn't have a second floor. They do have a second-floor for some offices, but they don't have any stores on a second level like most other malls do. They have a Sporting Life store there which is really nice and has all the latest collections there.
Busy but not a bad place
security are good and staffs are very helpful present in the mall!
A lot of construction happening so many things are closed. Great large Hudson Bay store and a large Gap store. Has a small food court.
A very good mall located at a busy intersection of Richmond Hill - Yonge & 16th. Particularly like the mall after the renovation and addition of some pretty new stores. Lot more younger population and small kids seen playing around the mall. Like how they decorate the mall at every occasion particularly Christmas. Enjoy the pop up themed markets! Once the foodcourt gets a bit of an upgrade, the mall will be all set. Way to go..
Great shopping mall with lots of domestic and international brands.
So many good stores, specially Indigo’s addition to the Mall was a great happening. The only thing is I wish there was a play ground for kids like the one at Promenade Mall so parents could do their shopping more comfortably.
I really enjoying going to this mall. It's small but has many known stores to look around in. I find the food court has a variety of options and the friendliest staff!
Some good shops. Overall it's an "ok" small mall.
Soo good to be back at malls❤️
This mall has been renovated and greatly improved their store selection. Not happy that Le Chateau is no longer there though. Great selection of good stores available though!! They just need to add more levels to the building.
The stores in the mall still need work to be up to par to malls like Fairview or upper Canada but the new renovations looks great and this is definitely one of my favourite Bay stores to visit.
Is very good Mall,is clean looking very nice, just not very bigger ???? but is good ,good stores and banks across good!
Very big mall and so beautiful design
Smaller mall but still has a lot of major brands. The food court is typical of a small mall. They have done lots of renovations recently to stay current
I don't like this Mall. Chaos is the only thing you can see here. It is always crowded for nothing. The Wow boutique here is terrible. I only go to this place if I have to.
Spacious mall, clean, good stores for shopping. Went to Hudson's Bay store it was one of the messiest stores I've seen, it looked like a messy Flea Market. Mall could use some more seating but overall, a very pleasant mall to visit.
Many upgrades... Good size mall... Medium tier.
Nice mall, never usually come here, but has some good stores for sure.
Decent mall with beautiful renovations. Was hoping for more stores. More high end stores but that's a given for being in Rich man's Hill
The renovated mall looks just awesome! You have to visit to enjoy shopping in this mall. Enjoy!
The food court leaves much to be desired but otherwise this is a clean and quiet little mall with a decent mix of retail stores. Nice place.
The mall is considerably smaller than some of Toronto's flagship shopping malls but what it lacks in quantity (and a few typical store brands you would find elsewhere), they make back in quality and some the specialty stores you don't find elsewhere. As an example, the West Coast Kids store here is probably the best infant/toddler store in the GTA for both selections and experience and the Hudson's Bay is probably of the most modern and renovated of the chain with superb selections and sizes. Would reccommend this mall.
Though no Yorkdale mall, the Hillcrest mall, since the renovation, has kind of got a facelift. New shops, better stores, etc make it a delight for the locals.
The security at the entrance was very courteous and helpful in giving us the direction to the store we were going to. The floor is clearly marked to walk one way on one side, so you don't bump into people from the opposite direction. The mall is so clean. This is a great mall and I hope for it to reopen, soon!
Festive decor around.
Securities at the mall are nicely uniformed, walk the floor together. Mall looks fairly clean. I like to shop there sometimes. Lots of parking all around the mall.
In one of my reviews on H&M, I had mentioned to visit one in your local mall... Yes... This is one of them... This place is very much accessible from Yonge Street and has plenty of parking.
Has all the shops you need to pretty much buy anything you want since it's been renovated and lots of parking as well.
Good Tip Top store. Great clothes great prices. NESPRESSO store Amazing. Decent food court. There is a great little sports store. A Hidden Gem. Everything for all sports fans.
this place is awesome since the renovations. They've attracted serious brand names and created a good shopping environment. Kudos
It's like any other mall, and not too big. Only went to one shop and it was a health store. Found it very expensive. The service was good.
Great mid-sized mall with some of the latest brands available. They have an H&M and Sporting Life, alongside banks and other stores. Great place for those not looking to do major shopping, but for those in the area looking to pick up a few things.
Nice. Not a large mall but still allot of stores and decent food court.
Nice mall lots of places to shop around and see prices are good
It's a great mall but seems to be always in the midst of changes. Sometimes this is good. At holiday time changes equals less parking spots.
I like the mall. It is clean and has nice stores. Not very fancy or high-end (except Sport Check). The new Starbucks is fabulous.
This mall has come a long way since the 90s when I used to be a mall rat. ♡ Lots of great stores, wonderful variety. I like how they have a farmer's market outside on Sundays. Food court has lots of yummy options and always ample parking.
I love spending time with my friends here. Used to have a few people in the mall, but now that there are more stores, there are a lot of people. Might be hard to find parking spots near the entrance. It has Indigo and Marshall's which brings a lot of people into the mall. Lots of new stores coming shortly.
I have shopped in many Sephoras in the USA before Sephora even came to Canada. So I am well acquainted with their excellent customer service. I must say, the Hillcrest Mall Sephora in Richmond Hill was by far the worst Sephora experience I ever received. My girlfriend was with me and she was looking for the Dyson Supersonic Hair Blow Dryer. It happened to be out of stock however after watching her speak to one associate and then another associate which looked like a manager, the body language, tone of voice and lack of interest to help my girlfriend was so evident it bothered me. I actually called Sephora's hotline and the lady on the phone helped to locate the Dyson for us at another Sephora (the Yonge-Eglinton location be to exact) and even put it on hold for us at that store. Why couldn't the staff at Richmond Hill do that? Terrible service at the Hillcrest Mall and no sales associate ever acknowledged us for assistance. Would not give this store location my business
I was there to pick up my package from shoppers drug mart at 7 pm and the paper notice written that they will be open till 8:45 but they were closed. My package will be held until tomorrow and nobody was there to answer me. You can't change times or do anything like this just because of the Covid-19. Covid-19 is not an excuse. When you write the time you have to make sure you are open.
Average mall with the typical stores in it. It's clean and open but I probably won't go here again as it's not convenient and there are better malls closer to me.
One of the best mall of Toronto!
It's nice and clean, not so big. But very useful for quick shopping.
This mall has changed for the better! Very fancy now
No one check ontario covid-19 website questionnaire at main entrance. Other malls required that for entering the Mall.
Very nice mall getting what you need
I don't drive so I tend to do most of my general shopping at the smaller plazas that are near to my home. I have a very large family though so it seems like there is always a birthday or anniversary, a birth or a graduation, or other celebration like Christmas so I shop for most of my gift needs either online or else at Hillcrest Mall. Hillcrest is a good sized mall filled with banks and services, major retailers, boutiques and kiosks that can provide pretty much anything and everything in one place. I usually take a bus there although the walk on nice days is great exercise and then take a Lyft can home with my purchases. For those who do drive there is plenty of parking available all around the mall with many entrances into the building. Oh and did I mention the food court with enough variety to suit anyone's palate. While it isn't the largest mall in the GTA it is big enough that it is easy to spend the day shopping or just window shopping and browsing. A separate building in the southeast corner of the parking lot houses a Swiss Chalet and a Mastermind store which is one of my favorite go-to place for gifts for children of all ages.
Great environment with variety of brands for shopping, Gym, Shoppers and especially Hudson Bay.
I just left the store and was so impressed by the great customer service and advice I received from Victor the owner of the store. He's knowlagable with great sense of customer service.
Great place for families and lots of shops for children's items.
The mall was really cool in my opinion. The mall as lots of places to choose from. Personally I only found 2 places I liked but there were many others so there's definitely something for everyone.
It's not big. It's located in the centre of Richmound Hill.
I miss Krispy Kreme, but they have an outdoor food truck court with amazing food.
Great colors. Experienced staff. Good discounts
Over-priced as a shopping center. Many other outlets are around if you're willing to make the trip. (Upper Canada Mall etc..) Good food court and variety of stores otherwise.
Very safe place, security at door, follow health guide, just keep 2 meters apart
Some stores have been renovated last year or so. Quite some stores are on my list. It's not a large shopping mall, compared to others, not bad a place to shop at.
The store selection is limited but not bad. There is a high chance that you will find what you are looking for, even with the small store selection as I always had. Along side this, the food court is also very small and it has a limited option. This mall is also very clean and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend it for a short outing, but it is not a place you can stay for the day.
Tried Carlos chocolate cake for the 1st time ???? ???? so yummy, smoothe, rich & delicious ???? I will be heading back heard the carrot cake us great too.
I like this mall although it is smaller than other malls in Toronto, such as Yorkdale, or Vaughan mills. It's not very crowded and you can look around with no haste. There are good stores here as well, such as bcbg, guess, marciano, sephora, hudson's bay.
Mall is better now that it’s done renovating. stores selection are decent and it was nice and clean
A smaller location, single level but well stocked. Bright and interior is nice. Overall a pleasant shopping environment.
Very nice Mall. Always clean. Great stores
This mall is good. But now especially the food trucks outside make it 100 times better.
Hillcrest mall Canadian Blood services was a brief visit to donate blood. Well attended and all covid19 precautions in place, still only half an hour in and out. Lots of parking so much better than downtown.
I didn't come here for several month. last week my daughter asked me to bring her to Zaza Zoo to take some animal car ride. We came here and can't find it anywhere. It used to beside the Body Shop, I guess probably some more merchandises open in the mall. so they don't have place for it. My daughter is very disappointed. But Hillcrest Mall is a good place for browsing and shopping
Now that they're adding more popular stores and remodeling, it's getting so much better
Quite a small mall, but with some stores that are total hidden gems and great for buying gifts for a friend. Found just what I needed. There's more than enough space to add more seating areas around, and that's what they should do! I mean, it's not you they'll need to since you can scale this whole mall in less than 5 minutes haha
Good variety of store selection, nicely renovated! Parking is usually hard to find but overall not a bad place to go for quick shopping.
Good mall. Lots of places to shop at. Bathrooms where clean also. Good place to shop.
Currently being upgraded. Doesn't have a good food court and is only just now getting some stores. More like a mom and pop mall. But again... it is in renovations. So who knows..
Not much of a choice for food here, and there's still a lot of stores not open and running, but it's pretty big and spacious, and there's some nice stores that are open.
Lot of good stores now...
The dark lighting, dark hallways and dreary atmosphere makes shopping here depressing. If they change the paint and floors to white and the lighting to bright day lights it wont be so depressing. They will get more business. A lot of people dont know why they suddenly cant stand shopping here. They can't put words to it. But i know ehat it is. Its how dark the interior is. Just look at eaton centre, upper canada mall, yorkdale....all bright and white halls. Happy atmosphere.
Great local mall, not too crowded and more quality stores are moving in
Surprisingly not that crowded this time of year. Nice EV parking spots.
This is definitely a smaller mall, not as many stores, although the stores they have is not bad. Not much seating, kind of a little older insider, but still quite clean.
Great place, you can nearly everything you need!
I like to see the mall growing and developing. Getting more trendy each year. The parking get expanded and new locations get open, including fashion stores and coffee shops.
Great mall. Easy to find parking and never too crowded. A lot of popular stores.
I have grown up with Hillcrest mall. It used to be really old and outdated - but now they've revamped it and it's an amazing place. It's still limited in size - so the food court is small and you wont find everything - but they've got the essentials down.
It's not the biggest mall but you can find all your essentials here. Has a good variety of stores and restaurants; this mall is quite clean though.
Parking and driving lanes around this building was tight and not well designed. Internally stores are kept well but the lighting was very depressing.
With recent work done to the mall, i'd say it's a well modernized mall pretty clean with major brands and vendors and good vibes.
They are getting better! Once they add a few stores similar to markville and Fairview i will go here more.
A lot bigger than it looks, this mall has almost everything. Good food and shopping. Missing a tim hortons and a bath and body works
Nice mall! They are renovating it so it will look nicer later.
Clean but it is a very small mall. Not much store selections. Better off shopping at a different mall.
For a neighbourhood mall, Hillcrest has an inordinate number of anchor stores. From the Bay, to a Winners/Homesense, to sporting goods stores such as a Sportchek and even a Sporting Life. One of the few Indigo's remaining in the GTA is also here and it still has a built in starbucks. These anchors certainly adds a more upscale feel to this once sleepy mall. Even though it's still a one level mall, the aisles are wide and it never feels crowded. Recent reno's have also let is a lot more natural light to the interior.
I love this mall. Very local, and you can find whatever you want, spacially since Marshal came there
I felt a bit frustrated at this mall, having a phone in desperate need of charging and being unable to locate a decent spot to charge and sip some coffee. All the coffee shops...by All...I mean the Starbucks and the Food Court Second Cup were full with folks hoarding the seats. Then to top it off, all the public/food court seating boasting outlets weren't working????♀️! Felt like I was on a wild goose chase to find a power outlet. Sidenote ????????I could have be extra grumpy due to my lack of coffee❌☕ ????IG ???????? @AmeliaDoesDinner ????Ytube???????? @AmeliaDoesDinner
Food truck dining at the Hillcrest Mall parking is a quite a bit of fun. There a few trucks for different taste: Korean, Greek, Mexican, Jerk chicken, Buster’s sea cove from St Lawrence Market. There is no place to seat and place was a bit crowded. You would pick food and go eat in your car. I got lucky with the weather and it was warm and sunny that made experience ok. I can’t say the food was anything special but it was different from anything I saw before in that area. Mall was opened but I think it can’t wait. Many stores had line ups at the entrance.
Wonderful shopping plaza. Great selection of retail and food outlets.
Very clean and cool place. Lots of stores and food court. Washrooms are clean
It’s our local mall best thing is the food trucks I guess if Covid give us anything good that’s it
Really impressed how this mall has picked up lotta great stores to visit, this place has become a usual stop for me to get pretty much everything I need
Food Trucks on the weekends. Great selection. Some pricy but tasty!
Came to this mall to visit the Home Sense. This is a big location with a decent selection of items. Very clean and organized.
When you just need a couple items, mid-sized neighbourhood malls like this come in handy rather than big malls like Vaughan Mills or Yorkdale because sometimes in life "more options" create unnecessary confusion and stress, and it may lead to unncessary purchases as well whereas "not much of a choice" could help you get just what you need and nothing more. That said, I could definitely use some convenience of a little more restaurants in the mall.
Hillcrest Mall is a really quiet mall, Hillcrest also has a great selection of stores and it is a great place to spend time with family and friends.
The mall has come a long way since their renovations, lots of good stores and places to shop. Food court is a little small but I like it there and can often find a deal.
I love Hillcrest mall! I grew up always going to this mall. I love the changes they made and how refreshed it looks. Love all the new stores they brought in.
Just found out about this mall and thought that I should check it out. It's a really nice mall similar to yorkdale, and I would prefer to come here because of it having less of a crowd. It probably doesn't have all the stores you want, but it is very relaxing to shop here, with the open space and less people you can slowly browse in each store.
My personal favorite Mall for the last 20 years. New stores keeps on coming up especially the anchor ones. We hope for more eating establishments located in prominent corners.
I would rate it as 3 because the food court isn’t as good as the mall itself There isn’t much options... but I chose to go for 4 because of some upgrades lol... overall... it’s pretty decent. It’s a good place for you to shop but only if you’re a quick shopper... Like you gonna know what you’re coming for, buy it then leave... But I like there Christmas prep... it’s always pretty fun :)
Peaceful mall with good variety of stores and restaurants. I’m so happy that they are adding chung chun corn dogs! I hope they add Mr. Pretzel too! ???? Convenient location.
Lots of places to shop for Squishmallow. Playtime, Indigo, Clair's, Showcase, and Shoppers Drugmart (although hit and miss when they have stock).
I required 1 product. I was able to enter the store, navigate my way directly to that product, purchase it and leave the store...the ideal shopping experience!!
Social distancing is lacking in stores and not enforced. Busy stores like home sense have crowds. Also, people walking through the mall without masks, or keeping them around their chin.
It's a nice mall. It's not super huge but it has all the essentials. Be prepared to have your vaccine passport if you're going to stay to eat in the food court. If you get take out you won't need it
Good selection of shops. I like that it has Indigo, sporting Life and Marshalls in one place.
Hillcrest Mall located in at 16th Ave & Yonge Street has undergone a significant renovation and modernization over the past 2 years since new ownership took over the property. It has been modernized with the addition of Home Sense, Winners, Indigo, Sporting Life, H&M and Starbucks to name a few retailers recently opening stores. The food court has been refreshed with more seating and better laid out. Tim Hortons will be joining the list of stores in summer 2019. The mall has been brought up to current standards and now contains many premium branded stores. Last but not least HUDSON'S BAY, the store has undergone a significant renovation and now serves as the true flagship retailer for Hillcrest Mall and Richmond Hill.
Not much good stuffs in this store.
I love this mall, you can access to different brands in a well designed place
Great place for premium paint. The selection of paint is spectacular. The staff in knowledgeable and full of great ideas. The prices for paint is obviously on the higher end but the quality of the paint is evident when you actually painting. Even a novice like my wife could tell the difference between BM paint and a value brand.
This was never one of the flashiest or biggest malls around but recently it has really turned itself around. The new stores and modernized feel to the mall gives it a feeling of being bigger when it is still the same size it has always been. I can usually find what I am looking for and is always very clean. While it could still use some work here and there the owner or owners of the mall have really done a fantastic job.
Fantastic shopping center with a wide variety of stores! They truly care about their shoppers, tenants and staff by enhancing the safety and hygiene of their facilities. Also a great place to grab lunch!
Better than before de is...but still...not my favorite mall..
The mall is a circle and you'll be dizzy and exhausted looking for something. But the store selection is great, and the parking situation isnt heinous.
Good Mall. I like The Bay store there. Plenty of parking space. Never had issue with parking.
Good to see some fresh renovated stores.
A really good mall to shop at! However, I just think there needs to be a big selection of stores.
If u know which store you will be shopping then it's good but not alot of choices!
Pretty nice mall. Recently updates since my last visit from a couple years ago, this includes new floors, updated washrooms and have moved guest services to entrance 4. some more stores been added also these include Aritzia, H&M, Indigo, Starbucks, Old Navy, and Sporting Life just to name a few. This has really opened up the mall making it easier to navigate and very accessible, Keep up the good work Oxford!
New additions of sporting life and upper end stores have improved this mall a lot!
Has great selection of stores but the mall was crowded when I went
Great place to go for staple brands and stores. Wish it had more restaurants or a place to grab a drink after shopping. Recently renovated with an entire new wing to the mall.
This Mall has potential. The newer stores are quite good from what it had before. Food court could be better .
Nice local mall. Now with the addition of Starbucks it has everything i need.
Getting there..... Construction is almost complete and some nice new stores are being added. Has a high end feel VS the run down look it had a year ago.
Update: Oops! They do indeed have a Shoppers!! Thanks for letting me know! Nice mall. Good selection of stores but they're missing a shoppers drug mart :(
Clean and easy to navigate. Even better is that the indoor map is on Google Maps if you magnify it enough and that's really helpful as there's no need to scour for the info board.
Bit small but it usually has what you want. Missing some good stores though, could use some more space.
I work in one of the kiosk. Its a great place to find bargain products, or clearance when in season. Do check the stores regularly, you might find some branded bag like coach, or michael kors on discount up to 70%. 4 star for the holiday season that can be brutal - full parking lot do wonder around outside the mall, you will find a 'Baghdad' small supermarket that sell things baghdad style..
Great mall for shopping, they have all the essential, food court can improve.
Love this mall, I live nearby so it's a good place visit.
Great little mall, I'm happy there are two starbucks here. Not really much in clothing brands but there is a gym and little hidden gems.
Good Mall and safe. Not very crowded. We usually visit The bay.
Food trucks are amazing! So many options! Delicious food. Gluten free options too
Not a Yorkdale or Eaton Center, but is one of the best malls in the suburban area of Toronto! Food Court has a lot of options, a lot of shops and stores. Clean, modern and organized place.
Love the mall with the new updates. The only problem is they only have one washroom at the side of the food court. There is no washroom in the new wing.
It's a wonderful shopping mall, but it's currently closed (limited services) due to province wide lockdown. Entry is by appointment only for essential services. Please follow guidelines mentioned on the official website of the Mall before planning a visit. Stay safe and healthy.
It's close to home but not the best mall. There is not a lot of variety to the stores and also, it's quite pricey.
They moved Starbucks to the other side of the mall. Good walk and it's not even accessible from the inside of the bookstore....but the servers are very friendly and courteous.
Packed with people and shoppers - it's that time of year too. I just hope people remember to try their best to social distance, wash their hands and keep their masks on inside shops.
Great mall, especially after the 2016 addition. Not too busy, but with good selection of decent stores.
Clean, neat and not so many people it easy to shop the wash room is very clean I'm amazed..
Hillcrest mall has undergone a renovation over the last few years and summer of 2019 we see continued changes that are all positive. New additions including Indigo, Marshall’s, home sense, Mr. pretzels, yogen fruz, Marks, Starbucks and soon a Tim Hortons. Also in the parking lot a weekly Farmers Market all summer every Sunday. If you need wheelchairs your phone charged diapers or gift card visit the guest experience desk. If you drive a Tesla or other electric car park near Indigo they have charge stations. Hope that helps you get an idea of Hillcrest Mall. Enjoy!
Good mall, decent selection of stores, convenient location, and the recent renovation has it looking really nice and modern, compared to the rear side. Not too crowded usually, good for casual shoppers who aren't in a rush.
One of many Oxford Malls. Always superb service
Nice mall, they've done a lot of work to make this building look good. The parking situations still seems to be a problem but there is a good mix of stores but the food court is lacking in terms of healthy choices.
Standard mall. Higher end brand names are missing but there a The Bay here that's pretty well stocked. A new sporting life just opened up and there's all been a sport check here too. Clean, safe, nice place.
Hillcrest mall had a face lift in recent years. You may have a surprise if you haven't been to the mall for several years. They also invited new merchandises. All these efforts make the mall a more upscale one now.
They turned this place around for the better. Great shopping. Great malls
Great mall. No need to wear mask inside
So many options and easy to go mall.
Local mall is great! Many new stores and new additions.
There are no good stores or merchandise. The food court sucks. There are almost no stores for guys. The mall discriminates against people based on their medical status.
Love the new reno's! Overall a great mall with plenty new shops added in recent years.
From groceries to make up to clothing to restaurants everything is available here.
Some old ladies had a problem with me doing work while I was in the food court and also threatened to call management on me if I didn't move for them....Talk about entitlement...
Love this mall. The Bay is beautiful.
I been living in Richmond Hill since the mid late 80's and a regular visit of Hillcrest Mall. Even had a business in the mall on time! The mall has not only grown over the years it has improved a great deal and kept modern over the years.
Went to Sporting Life for tennis ???? shoes. They don't have any???? What a waste of time. Grabbed a coffee ☕ from Starbucks which was good ????
After renovation of the mall, it is good to do shopping - impressive.
I like how the mall is starting to look post renovation. Addition of new stores definitely makes me want to go there more frequently. Can't wait for Marshall's to open.
They revamp the mall...its very nice. This was always a nice little mall. Now they have some big anchor stores & the upgrade was nicely done with out huge disruption to business or parking.
I just bought some paints from their website. Quick shipping, bomb-proof packaging and colours arrived exactly as expected. I'm completely satisfied with the entire experience.
Beautiful mall, very aesthetic and amazing stores. However, not a lot of food and it's very small.
Small but convenient and clean mall. Recommended if you live close to HWY 7.
Small mall not much going on here except for food trucks in parking lot. However these food trucks fade is over since all the food was pretty gross tasting..no wonder there weren’t many people eating there at all
Nice mall but I wish the construction would finish.
Ever since the renovations this has been my go to mall.
Great mall! It has many different places, and it had a wide variety of choices. Food court, acessories, clothing stores, it has so many unique shops and stores. The only thing I didn't like was the poor service at their MINISO. Because of a special event, the product was supposed to be free, but the manager disagreed and stalled our time instead.
Loved it best place to hang out with friends
Go elsewhere if you want to go shopping. Never has there been anything great in this mall.
I was actually visiting my lawyer at the Hillcrest Mall on the second floor. From what I saw on the first floor which is the mall floor seem to be pretty comprehensive in terms of goods and services that they offered to the public. I used to live in Richmond Hill many years ago and dropped at this small but now it's completely modernized and updated with many more additional shops and services being offered so I recommended if you happen to live in Richmond Hill, Thornhill, and Vaughan.
Loved the Street Eats Market at the Hillcrest parking lot! The food selection is amazing, and we'll organized. Go support if you're in the area!
Not all stores are open but each store has amount of people inside posted. They have marked the floors to guide foot traffic which is nice
Nice mall have been going here for years.
Mall is okay, not many sales happening at stores. Extremely busy. Female bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Used tissues on the floor, urine smell. This is mainly due to grown individuals who disrespect the public washrooms as well- not the malls fault but really poorly managed. Single males using the nursing washroom for their business - unbelievable.

Hillcrest Mall in Toronto is great. Nice stores, good selection. Food court has good food selection. This mall can be very busy at times. Very enjoyable experience every time I come here. Recommended.
You can find whatever you need in competing prices.
nice mall and good stores.
Small but nice mall, quiet and not as busy. Has a good selection of stores.
Havent been in months and it still amazes me how amazing it looks.
Pretty good mall. Would have given the mall 5 stars if it wasn't for the atrocious store Aritzia they have. Please do something about that store, either get rid of the store or do something with their customer service. That store is ruining the mall's image with it's atrocious and pretentious employees and customer service. They are rude and useless and absolutely disgusting to see how they treat the customers. WE are the ones buying their product and they have the audacity to treat their customers with so much disrespect. I know the store is never busy but yet they can't even pick up their phones whatmore serve their customers. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The manager in the store has the WORST customer service, she will snap at you and has no respect none whatsoever. How is she even a manager with such vile behaviours? I hope management does something or else they'll be losing a lot of customers because of them.
I ordered from Pandora, curbside, very friendly staff especially Vincenza ???? Thank you for coming outside ( although the mall was open) Thank you ????
Been coming to this mall for years and I have to say it's gone down hill. Not too much to shop for.
If the Corona restriction lifted، it is cozy place
I don’t mind Hillcrest too much. However, I can’t help but wonder how a mall in such a prestigious location (in the heart of Richmond Hill) largely lacks a majority of the consumer brands. Yorkdale is where most of my shopping is done. I come to Hillcrest when there’s some minor things needed here or there. On the plus side, it’s clean, never too busy (maybe not a great thing) and has ample amounts of parking. I think a review and new approach to the types of stores inside this mall would go a long way.
i love this mall. its new its clean and has stores that i frequently go to. the food court is decent but limited choices of food but its very clean. parking is easy unless u go during busy hours. i wudve liked it even more if they had zara. living in vaughan, closest zara is in markham or yorkdale but it seemed like there were more new stores opening soon so thats something to look forward to.
Nice clean. Good mix of stores.covid protocol observed.
The worst management ... we all shop over there for our kids and the vast majority of the shops were not handing out candy for Halloween. This big day was a day of disappointment for our children who were unable to go out due to the rainy night. It doesn't cost much to hand out candies to kids; very very disappointed.
Decided to go for a stroll around 11:30am on a Saturday. It was a pleasant experience since there wasn't a big crowd. Most stores are open with limited amount of customers allow inside at once. Food court had little to no line ups.
Clean mall, good stores
Hillcrest Mall has grown up. It's now a beautiful place to shop. I'm glad it survived the growing pains, and I bought a beautiful baby gift at Marshall's. I'll be back.
Lots of parking. Serves it's purpose
Amazing place, the parking lot on the north east side has a food truck paradise. There are multiple food trucks in one place which is fantastic for covid friendly take out
The first indoor mall in richmondhill on. Many changes over the years but still going strong . Small food court and lots of parking
A mall is a little too small to my taste, but it has pretty much everything you need except for some designer stores
Although not as big as other malls, it is clean and the collection of brands are still good. Many large department stores here so you can always find what you looking for here.
Not for me. Did not follow covid restrictions at all during my visit
The shops are great. The mall is very clean with lots of good shops. But entering from the Food court is the most disgusting experience as all smokers are there, right at the door and you have to walk through the smoke cloud and breath that air. Many Food court costumers light up sigarets inside the mall entrance before actually exiting it completely. The security does nothing at all!
a decent sized mall with many empty spaces and the walkways are filled with boutique salesman trying to sell you stuff as you walk by because it's not that busy
Lack of some popular brands but still good enough to go. Renovated the building so it is very nice and clean. Food courts r not so great.
My review is on the Santa experience, I took my six year old, we did not get to see the show sadly, but we did manage to get a visit with Santa, he was amazing with my child, lots of magic and interaction, Santa's helper was also amazing, Santa knew my child's name when he got to the chair, the photos were amazing and my child is still smiling hours later.
Love going here as not too many people but downside is not too many options compared to other malls.
As at July 17, 2020, most stores are re-opened. Even though York Region and Hillcrest have a mandatory face mask rule about 10% of customers/staff are not wearing masks. About 90% are not wearing masks properly including the taking on and off process. Majority also are not following the foot traffic signs on the floor.
The mall was nice and spacious but they didn’t have some of the big chain stores like Uniqlo and Zara that we would like to see. Better check the mall directory to make sure they have the store you want to shop before you head there to avoid disappointment. The mall was not very big but they did have a few bakery stores like Uncle Tetsu (Japanese Cheese Cakes & Tarts) and St Germain (Chinese Style Buns & Cakes) if you crave for desserts. If you go on Sunday, they also have a small farmer’s market outside of the mall at the parking lot near Sporting Life. The Hillcrest Mall Farmers’ Market is available on Wed (10-6pm) and Sun (9-4pm) from May to Oct. I think its not a bad choice to stop by Hillcrest mall to spend your Sunday afternoon.
Convenient location, not the best stores but generally good
Been coming to this mall for years. Great shopping at affordable and competitive prices. Not too many upscale stores but i believe decent for a wide range of shopper class. Not 5 stars because I've always felt the food court could be much improved!
Nice small mall. Isn't overly busy but has nice stores and a decent food court. Homesense and Marshalls just opened which is a plus!
The newly renovated part is quite spacious. The washroom seems to be quite far from both ends
Seems a bit like it wasn't designed with the amount of traffic it gets in mind. Other than that it's a great mall with a good selection of stores to choose from.
It's a great place for new born baby
Good selection of stores. Good size food court. Plenty of public comfortable seating. Parking all around mall.
Very clean and best Santa ever
It's nice and clean
Mall has no Covid plan. Families and kids spend the day here with no concerns about social distancing. Never see anyone cleaning anything.
Great place to do shop.
Nice plaza. Lots of variety of stores. Service people very helpful.
Ample parking available. Its a clean spacious mall, it's my go to for the Pandoara store ...no line ups ????
Very nice mall, bright, clear, lots of stores. Nice food court
The mall is going through a lot of renovations and is good to see some better stores coming to the mall.
Last time I visited this mall it was going through renovations. Today, I stopped in and what a transformation, didn't even recognize it. Great atmosphere.
Decent selection of stores. Not too busy and the food court offers a nice variety of cuisines. Would recommend.
The mall has made a lot of improvements and continue to expand. Looking forward to the finished product
I live closeby and it's getting renovations and more somewhat more diverse stores. Not on par with any other mall, but is ok bby
Home to leading retail stores and franchises, contemporarily designed mall with elegant layouts and ease of connections between shops. Food court with known brand names with takeout options. Well maintained restrooms. Very comfortable chairs are provided for indoor seating that helps with relaxation. Informal Meeting points for groups, friends and families. Hillcrest remains one of Richmond's best attraction.
Very good place for shopping and good food court.
Good but we need Foot Locker back in this mall. When I want some HEAT kicks, I need a place nearby to get them from. Ain't nothing in Hillcrest for that.
Changed the santa setup. No more photographer. Management no longer allows fun photos with santa ending our 5 year tradition with Hillcrest mall Santa pics.
The ongoing improvements here have really spruced up the place...! A nice low energy mall for lazy weekend strolling. The indigo is a great addition! As is the marshalls and sephora. The independent eye glasses is a pleasantly surprising well-kept secret! Overall... a nice mash up of shops, not your average cookie cutter mall
Best mall in Richmond Hill.
It's one of the worst malls I've been to, but they have steadily been making improvements and opening bigger named shops within the mall. Still needs a lot of work for it to compare with the better malls. The food court is okay, and the stores are decent.
The mall is finally being brought up to par with other shopping centres. As a self proclaimed mall crawler I am happy to see its getting some high end stores and although it still doesn't have stores such as Coach or Michael Kors, Victoria's Secret etc.. it is getting better. The Bay is always well stocked and I love going to that location. There are still areas in the mall that are dark and dreary and need attention and the food court is absolutely nothing to write home about. It's small and cluttered and there's not a lot to choose from. The seating is horrendous. It's difficult enough to find ample seating in most malls and to top it off you are faced with the congregation of seniors taking up seating, playing chess & cards. I get that people like to meet and have a coffee but is it really necessary for people to loiter when you have shoppers that are spending money and would like to find a place to have a quick snack and perhaps feed their children? Aside from that the mall is definitely getting there in terms of stores and services.
Customer service was specific to my needs.
Haven't seen the whole place but so far I liked it
Small compared to some nearby malls, but the right size to quickly pop in and make your tour of the shops
This mall has an okay selection of fast food restaurants, some stores don't make the greatest foods though. Stores are okay. It's your standard mall. They're making it high end which sort of sucks. But it's a quiet place to shop around.
I drive past this place frequently. I stop here rarely. It's just another pointless mall sprawled across several acres of prime real estate. My lack of patronage stems from an almost complete inability to require any useful consumer products that may be available from amongst a myriad of directionless denizens and their offerings. So in the end, I just keep on driving by...
Good place for shopping after renovation. More new stores will be added later. These are great to see.
An amazing experience in this fairly new store in this area. Victor's knowledge and product knowledge has turn me in to a repeat customer.
It's so cool to keep coming back here and seeing all the new stores and changes this mall has gone through. It's a huge plus too that even with all renovations, this place has stayed so clean :)
I love your food. Best quality, best service. Thank you
Great for bakeries and bubble tea. Not enough for clothing!!
Excellent place. Nice, good for everyone.
Awesome shopping mall. You can get all brand here. The mall is bit smaller compare to Upper Canada Mall.
The mall as a whole has the random things I like to shop including a fairly update Hudson's bay but it really needs a stack of new stores to come it. They have food trucks in the mall parking lot which is cool but also have very dirty bathrooms. Maybe we can work of the cleanliness of the bathrooms? I will say they have this cool counter that let's you know when too many people are inside...
Mall finally stepped up from the past several years. Decent mall overall
The Mall has pretty great upgrades! Still some new stores being added! This includes the bathroom and new stores like Marshall's and Indigo. Plus I noticed the mall has 2 Starbucks locations (1 at each end of the Mall). Great stuff! Would like to come in and see what else will be added in!
Yes went to Marshall and Homesense on Tuesday, got some great desl
It's my community mall ! Very clean and modern.
All refinished looks great
This mall has improved so much over the years! I’ve visited twice in March and felt safe both times. Thank you sooo much!
Well maintained mall. Expansion makes the place more appealing and adds variety. Great for quick last minute shopping
Great mall with all new stores designed to make one of the great mall to shop. Nice out lays comfortable place. To shop. .
Pretty clean mall, they had lots of hand sanitizers at every entrance.
Good for shopping and many other things, very clean and organized mall
Good place to hang out. They maintained the mall well.
I hadn't been to Hillcrest Mall in a while. So impressed by the extensive renovations. Changed into a 1st class mall and shopping experience.
A great mall With great atmosphere ????
Not a large mall but enough popular stores for me to occasionally visit. Lots of parking and not too crowded. Great.
This mall is undergoing various renovations and attracting better known retailers. Not too busy and conveniently located in Richmond Hill.
The mall has improved over the years, some great shopping here and less crowded than most malls in the GTA.
Has a couple good stores like Sporting Life and Sportcheck. Food court has a good selection.
Such an amazing place.. we love the atmosphere here.
The worst parking lot design!!!! This is the only mall you can’t get in or out without going around the entire parking lot. Good luck trying to exit if there is an emergency!!!
Mall recieved an amazing face-lift! Used to work at the sunrise , have, and west49 at that mall. Practically grew up there ! I love how they still kept some of the old layout . It's fresh but still gets me nostalgic when I walk through!
A lot of people say this mall is too small and boring. I personally like it, I can always find what I am looking for in it. I clearly don't fi d small by any means. It clean has a variety of stores. Looks well maintained.
When we first moved to the area in 2013, we only went to this mall if we needed something and on boxing day because we were guaranteed to find parking. There wasn't much in there, but enough to usually get most of what you generally need. It has come a long way! Hillcrest got a bit of a makeover and a lot of new retailers. It is now a place to wander if we just want to go somewhere for an hour, a place to go to grab a bubble tea (many great choices now) or a snack and walk around. My staple store is The Bay. Always fun to browse Marshall's/Home Sense and Indigo. I think shopping malls are no longer a place to simply shop. They need to be a hangout/gathering place for it to be successful. I think Hillcrest is going in that direction. Would be nice to see more cozy seating areas, maybe more food choices, restaurants eventually. I also want to add, as a new mom, the nursing room is much appreciated.
Very nice renovation, and really nice stores added. The Promenade management could learn. The food court has added new tables and comfortable chairs. They don't SCREACH when moving the chairs.
Really good stores with variety of trendy merchandise. The mall itself is a great size to easily navigate around and never overcrowded. Food court doesn't have too many options.
I've been shopping here for decades and love the new expansion and constant uograding. It has most the stores you need to match a multiple need purpose, but it's not your typical large mall to shop for hours. I like it because you know where the stores you need go are and the food court is a bonus. Can't expect too much from a mall, but more chance to get items on sale here.
great spot, coming here for years. it's conviniently located and great to check out when you need something specific. it's not exactly the kinda mall you go to for a shopping spree but a mall you go to for a walk, a coffee and browse for deals. super clean and always improving
I love how they are expanding and putting new stores to attract a variety of customers. Now that Marshall's/Homesence opened it's been amazing. I've never seen that mall so busy. But OldNavy, and Indigo are coming which will spruce things up more.
A clean and inviting "Goldy Locks" sized mall in my vicinity. Good amount of stores to explore. Plenty of parking available. And best part is, its generally safe to be there at any time of the day.
This mall is a mixture of vintage and new. I love the high ceilings which make the mall more comfortable to walk through. It's not a ridiculously long walk. Lots of friendly staff in this mall. I would definitely recommend this mall to anyone who just wants to shop in peace
Some store staff was very rude when I was shopping. The food court is great with many options and there are stores for everything. The staff though was very rude in a few stores some of the store won't even allow kids in which is very inconvenient. Otherwise the place is great.
wanted to buy a cheesecake, but only accepted credit cards. otherwise, it was a nice experience, they really revamped the mall into something more modern. good food.
Mall is ok. Mens bathroom dryers have seen better days surely!
Love this mall. It used to be my go to mall when I was living nearby. It is small enough that you don't feel cramped, but big enough that you still have some of the major chains stores. However, due to Covid-19 a lot of stores have closes permanently, similar to other larger malls, which is unfortunate. Very family oriented type mall. I do wish they change the entrance at the back though, they aren't as convenient as the ones facing the main road or intersection, especially for people with disabilities and young families with strollers. Often the buttons don't work or way too slow. It is like the uptown or suburban version of Bayview Village, which is owned by Cadillac Fairview. Very similar feel to it with the condos and older housing in the area. If you are looking for the big department stores, they only have the Bay, something more simple and basics like the Gap, H&M, and AE, slightly high end they have like Sephora, Honey, Sporting Life, or Aritzia if you are looking for more expensive stores like Gucci, YSL, and etc. then this isn't your mall. They also have several children clothing stores. Lastly, one of the few remaining malls that have Second Cup as well. ❤️
Nice mall! They have a great variety of stores including the bay, honey, aritzia, roots, sporting life, Sephora, etc. The food court didn’t have too many options and is currently take out only. All stores are strictly following covid protocol so it felt safe shopping here.
Oxford has done a great job turning around this mall. I reco they add some entertainment options like the Escape Room or VR arcade. Good luck!
Very good shopping experience. Good variety of shops and fashion. Everything I needed in one place. Food court needs more variety.
The mall is trying their best to improve, but it is so small your best bet is going to Markville, Upper Canada or Vaughan Mills if you plan on shopping around. If you know what you want or just want to escape the cold for a bit in the winter, Hillcrest is a nice clean warm place.
Too many people smoking at the entrance next to the food court. You have to walk through a cloud of sigarets smoke. Disscusting! No one is paying attention! The shops are nice.
Newly renovated, lots of parking spots
Great mall... I’m a long time customer and have worked here as well It could be better if it had these stores: Zara, Banana Republic, Lulu Lemon, smaller Suzy ashier, Michael Kors This mall needs a restaurant attached to it and it would definitely do well. Options close to Cineplex close by are terrible lol A good place here would really do well.., some place that people can have breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner ... Hillcrest you NEED one so please get on it! Shopping here would be more pleasant The Bay is one of my favorites.. nice staff and good options. Marshall’s is great too :) Food court needs improvement and parking lots have gotten very weird with all the separations that are very unnecessary Some stores are fairly large and I highly doubt they’ll be there in the long run but all are clean and nicely stocked Bathrooms are great for anyone with special needs and mothers Security guard was super nice and offered to help me when he saw me in a wheelchair... very nice of him to do that Overall a great mall and my first choice for most items I’d purchase
Newly renovated mall is quite spectacular. Will be even better once all the new stores are open. Would be nice to have some more seating areas throughout mall.
Cha time, EB Games, and the food court make this mall a destination I look forward to going too when my significant other must visit Sephora.
Very good mall but need more shoe stores ;)
Slowly slowly becoming a better mall but still has a way to go. Certain parts of the mall feel very dark claustrophobic. Lack of your usually coffee joints and not much to choose from in terms of food court choices. Washrooms are also inconveniently placed and hard to find. The new addition of sporting life has greatly improved the malls overall appearance both inside and out
The people who work there are miserable and need to smile more. But, the product was terrific!
Glad this mall is open again. Good variety of stores. Awesome shopping experience!
Great mall with great Christmas themes! Picked up a bunch of customized ornaments from a store called Santaville! Great staff and even greater products!!!
Great mall but you're supposed wear masks. And wear them above your nose. No one at doors so at the Freedom store some staff and customers were not or wearing around the neck. Even when my hubby ssid masks please and mask up. We left after shopping at Indigo
Ate at the food trucks place outside. Very nice variety. Mall still closed because of covid19. Hope they keep these truck. Great variety
Great mall. Definitely on the smaller side but good for essentials and never crowded. Very clean and walkways have enough room for social distancing. Food court is extremely small and needs more variety.
Wow. Pretty nice mall. Refreshing from Vaughn Mills. Clean and low traffic.
I haven't been to this mall for over a year. Now I see they've added some new stores especially Sporting Life and H&M. Miniso recently opened here too. With these additional, the mall seemed to be busier than ever.
The family really enjoys this mall. It has every store you need for a decent shopping trip and a decent food court with good variety.
Haven't been to Hillcrest mall in years. Was really surprised how nice it looked after renovation. Lots of quality store. Would recommend.
Good selection of stores. Nice sized food court also. Finally getting the update it has needed badly, can't wait to see the finished updates in 2018
Great place for shopping.. but some leading brands are disappearing.... lots of parking. Clean. Equipped with gym and outdoor food trucks too.. lol. More fun
Nice place to shop as not very crowded.
Securities at the entrance were very courteous ! and this mall is filled with varities of all the possible products !
People coming here are observing and following Covid safety measures
It's a good place to shop casually
Has gotten a lot of upgrades and renovations in the past few years, so it can really be considered a great mall to go to now. Great place to hang out. Very clean and looks nice
Food, food, food!!! Come here to eat what you want. Many food truckswith different tastes to chose.
Pretty much the worst mall ever but it's Hillcrest so it's got a special place in my heart. It's getting a little nicer with the new addition but it just highlights how old the other part is. The one good thing is parking is usually pretty good
quite cool one...enjoyed..
After thebay renovation and opening of new wong, mall is getting much better. Still more to go but good improvements so far.
Good atmosphere. Very clean with varieties of stores. However not many washrooms for such a vast mall.
Nice place to shop or just hang around and eye shop
Clean mall that is open during almost all holidays. Good selection of stores. Limited food court. Hosts a weekend farmers market in the parking lot.
Too many stores closing down. Very clean and modern mall.
A good local mall. Many bigger stores like Indigo and Marshalls/Home Sense had someone at the door to inform use of hand sanitizers. Directional arrows for flow of mall walkers but not everyone followed it.
This mall is nicely renovated with additional stores. I upgraded rating from 4 to 5 stars
Missing uniqlo , Zara, banana Republic
Decent shopping mall with good brand name stores. Very clean and plenty of parking.
Any guys want to buy me a few things. Will make it worth your while.
Very nice mall and greatly better, I've been told, since the renovation. A very comfortable size for a quick pop in and good store selection.
The best stores !! ,I always come out of the mall feeling thrilled of what I bot!! And I can always find what I need Iam in at the stores and out, the mall is improving and added so many new stores Old Navy, Indigo and Marshals. I love that mall
Mall is clean & the renovations makes the place more modern. There is a greater selection at the food court compared to previous yrs. Great shopping environment with the addition of new stores
This mall is getting better and better with renovations and new details stores opening. The addition of street eats market is great! Adds more food options and you can go on a quick walk through the mall the burn calories ????
This mall used to suck but it's getting better since the renovations and addition of some big stores like sporting life and h&m
its awful but 1 star because a good panera is near by.
It is a small mall with not a lot of store variety. Its a good place to just hang out, and the food court is great.
Was racially profiled in Hillcrest Mall today by Paragon mall security because I was standing next to a closed kiosk while having to wait on a pickup ride by York Mobility on Request. I was escorted by security Tyler Mogileven to the door and didn’t receive any redress from the security manager Bob Kim. He needs a course in how to speak to people because he has no manners. He’s probably never heard the term “Manners Maketh Man” I will never ever go back to that mall and will make all my purchases online, and not from any stores that have businesses in that mall, including Hudson’s Bay where I have been a loyal customer for more than 44+ years!!! It’s only a matter of time before those stores have to declare bankruptcy and then the mall will have close down!!!
Super mall with lots of great stores like Sephora, Aritzia, Roots, and more. Awaiting for the new Kibo sushi to open. (I tried it earlier at Upper Canada Mall, delicious).
Very good!! I love that, specially for furniture, after shopping for rest a little, it was very helpful !
My experience at the mall was great example everything that i needed was very easy to find the mall was very clean; the food court has a good variety of foods.
I purchased tomatoes from the vendor with the larger selection of vegetables. I asked if the tomatoes were fresh and I was told that they were. They were not fresh, spongy and tasteless.
Nice shoppong mall. Not crowded.
This is one of the only malls near by, wish they would expand more. The store in the mall keeps changing recently. Overall, it has a little bit of everything you would think you need.
I had a nice shopping experience but needs more sitting / waiting benches .
