This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Nice mall. Lots of homeless people at the entrance. Security was busy clearing washrooms etc.
The place is well maintained, and the stores are not all closed down because of Covid. I didn’t feel unsafe, but the security was more interested in talking with each other than walking around.
Great selection of stores. Cheap and expensive with lots of eating and snack options. Very easy to navigate and I can always find something here!
Well organized in implementing proof of vaccination and safety measures
Great place for shopping ????????????
Really convenient place good food court and power outlet to charge your phone , in the heart of downtown
There’s no cell charging stations but a majority of stores are open despite the brutal lockdown. There’s nothing here that beats Yorkdale or Eaton Centre aside than the Nordstrom which has a huge selection of leather and clothing but is lacking in the beauty section.
A rather upscale place, but the stores and service there are top notch. It's a short walk from here to Byward Market and loads of smaller shops too. Clean, well-lit, always interesting.
I loved the mall; it is close to Bayward market and it has it's own subway station which makes it easily accessed. It also has a multiple-storey parking. You can enjoy a fun shopping day at the mall to walk through and do a lot of shopping. It has many great options to choose from; you can find luxury boutiques and cheap bargains in the same place. I enjoyed my evening strolling in "Simons" and "Made in Canada" store.
I always enjoy visiting downtown Ottawa and the Rideau Centre is a fun place to go. It has a great variety of shops and the recently renovated food court is excellent! With the new LRT station it adds an extra attraction to it. ✌️☺️????
Easily accessible by Public transport and has lot of commercial shops. Dine in options and clothing stores Located right beside Parliament.
Aislelab analytics wifi 3d imaging systems interfacing shoppers in shops , RF frequency FM 101.3 mm linear AI simulation technology deepmind project
Very nice shopping mall, vast without feeling overwhelming, clean and all the nice stores you want for shopping with a teenager. I remember having been there many years ago and I did not recognize the place...at all.
Amazing, though I lost my way a couple times all the shop owners we’re friendly and ready to help and it’s extremely huge and I bet had every possible shop someone could imagine, Loved the experience.
I really like how they renovated the mall. The parking situation can be clarified a little bit more but overall there are really great stores in this mall. You can find a variety of things to buy eat and see. I think there's something for everyone in this mall. Great job
Physical Distancing is not even taken seriously here, there's usually several police officers in a group watching. When they see someone not wearing a mask THEY DO NOTHING. It seems Ottawa has just given up and is telling everyone to fend for themselves now. So if you go here your pretty much at high risk of getting infected, even if your vaccinated and wearing a mask.
Went into Garage the was very friendly have great customer service. Not pushy and always right at your heels like at most other retail stores. They let you shop around on your own and are there if you need any help. I especially want to thank Mackenzie, she was very helpful and very pleasant, I bought a cute downfilled bomber jacket. I will definitely be shopping there again.♥️????
If you want to have a cup of coffee at Timmy's or at Second Cup or at Starbucks, Rideau centre have them all. You can also enjoy the food there, from Shawarma, Indian food, Burgers, Chinese food to Greek cuisine.
There's something mind-bending about the architecture here. I always seem to get lost. I enjoy the selection of stores though and like how bustling and alive it feels.
I really like this mall. They offer a nice selections of stores and good variety of restaurants on their food court. I'm giving 5 starts for the fact that they have strange people walking around and sometimes look not safe. I even heard about people being robbed there.
It's a nice, spacious mall. There's a variety of stores, designer and non designer so it's great for those who are looking to splurge or those who are looking for a cheaper alternative. There is a nice selection of food in the food court. The dining area is big with plenty of seating. Unfortunately, because the mall is busy all the time, the mall is not the cleanest. It's great for those who take public transport as it's right along the transitway.
CF Rideau Center is packed with a bunch of people with a good amount of shops, it also includes a 5 floor Hudson's Bay
Nothing really remarkable or special about this mall, but it does have some well known shops and it is easy to get to. The fact that you have to pay for parking is really pain point. Better off shopping online or else where.
We haven't been here in a while but are pleased to find a broad selection of stores including many we fondly remember. A pleasant shopping and browsing experience
Hard to navigate and figure out where to go. Feels too small and narrow for a modern shopping center. No proper signage. Limited number and selection of stores. I spent more than an hour there and left frustrated without buying anything.
Lots of stores including: The Apple Store, LCBO, Shoppers, The Source, The Disney Store, The Lego Store, many fine clothing outfits, a very nice and varied food Court and even a cake dispensing machine.
Rideau center is a pretty good mall with lots of brand stores. After the redesign a couple of years ago, the place looks really nice. Having an underground parking is great specially in winter. The food court is also pretty good.
This mall is own / run by CF The mall had Apple, Nordstrom and a few other higher end shops I frequent it a lot for my fashion shopping
Worst design ever. Just wanted to walk through it to get to the other side. It's been built specifically to make you get lost. There is also no signage to help one get through it. "Nordstrom" should not be replacing the exit sign!

Lots of shops now open. We didn't go for shopping just went to the food court. Very quiet and not busy.
Unlike many malls in the Covid era this one has held up extremely well and there are tons of shops and it’s always pretty busy. Well laid out and in a very central location.
Really clean lunch/dinner area with lots of available seats. Many choices of food and the cleanest and biggest restrooms around. Parking is quiet and easy to access with lots of parking spaces. Enjoy!
One of the nicest malls to go in Ottawa and surrounding area. It's quite large and can be a little overwhelming but in my opinion the size is what makes it stand out, plus the variety of stores is outstanding! It's nice to come spend a weekend day with the wife going shopping and having lunch in the food court. I also love sitting on the balcony at the top of the mall when I need a little break :)
Not too Busy. And lots of stores. Can spend almost an entire day here if you’re up for it
Huge mall with all sorts all sorts of stores and services. There is also access to the roof which is a mini garden. I saw a rabbit grazing up there.
Great place to shop for variety of goods and services. CF Rideau has both high end shops and mid to lower price ones. Plus, its a great place of respite from the Ottawa cold.
Amazing dining hall. Just visited today and there's a huge selection. The stores are alright. It's a big mall so there's a lot of stores (3 levels) but really the highlight to me was the food. Great place to waste a few hours in
Very clean and large mall. Just about any store you could want available to choose from. The mall is fairly clean and quite spacious. My only issue with this mall is the lack of addorable options available
Very wide and well ventilated. Big stores for about everything you need.
CF Rideau Centre is located in the Ottawa downtown, close to Parliament Hill , University of Ottawa and Rideau River. Easy access by public transportation. There are lot of upscale shops. You will not feel crowed in the mall , lots of natural lighting. The mall also connected to hotel, Shaw centre and other shopping centre. The food court has shops open for breakfast.
Large mall on Rideau st, Ottawa. It's very clean and well maintained compared to other large cities. The stores are not unique and are like any other North American mall. One plus is it's connected to the Light Rail Underground Train system....once and a while thoughout the year the train actually works, thanks to our great city Mayor.
It's a friendly multiplex mall with a food court "dining hall". To get into the dining hall you will need proof of vaccination. I have my vaccination card from British Columbia and it works on the scanners here. So that's good to know!
Impressed with my first visit to the Rideau Centre. Very busy; usual mall staples; it's the multi-level angular layout. Not very good signage to the Westin Ottawa: follow the signs towards the Shaw Centre. Nicely decorated for the holiday season. Transit exchange and O-Train (Rideau Station) co-located.
For the most part it's all the same shops that you find in other shopping malls nothing to original. I think the real reason I'm giving a lower mark is just because of the actual people. Especially later in the day or at night, I never look forward to going there in the evening.
Very nice place for shopping and dining with friends and family! Easy to get there by city buses.
I have been to this mall for the first time and guess what? I loved every moment of it. Very clean nice spacious shopping mall. Many varieties of stores for daily shopping needs. The rooftop terrace is a very good place for people to socialize and take pictures. Great environment. I have added a picture of the rooftop terrace with this review. I would recommend others to visit this mall.
This is a great place to shop. There is a super Resto for lunch in Nordstrom! Who cares what the weather is doing when you have great shopping and dinning!
Expensive, but nice! Seems like a lot of places have been affected due to the COVID lockdowns and have closed permanently, sad. Seemed a lot different than the last time I was there 4 years ago.

Very central shopping mall. It has so many stores, literaly in the hundred. The mall is clean and very high end. There is a plethora of choices and it fits on three levels. There is underground parking for which you pay under $20 a day. They are very adamant on keeping the mall clean and mop the floors and disinfect bathrooms regularly.
The Rideau Centre is a fantastic part of Downtown Ottawa. A vast mall, with many shops, and restaurants. The area is kept very clean! A great place downtown to get all of your shopping done, or to grab something to eat!
Nice shopping center with good A/C and clean washrooms
Nice store collection but food court is not that good
The CF Rideau Centre was closed so we weren't able to go inside but the canal, the tunnels and the bridge is gorgeous! It's so scenic, as we were leaving, a bride and groom came for a bridal photoshoot!
Very nice shops, mall staff keep the spaces exceptionally clean despite the constant traffic. Info centre will keep your coat and bags while you meander through the mall less encumbered. Food court is very busy with many choices for lunch, supper.. staff are very good and keeping spaces tidy. Pretty good WIFI connectoons throughout. My only wish is that more comfortable seating areas would be available on each floor. My second recommendation would be more security staff on each floor at night. They often are few and only on one floor at a time. I think each group should be stationed for each floor for their shifts , especially nightime. Thank you
a nice visit but had to look hard to find a place to park my f250 truck, love ottawa and so many rv parks within 40 minutes of downtown
Its an alright mall in comparison to the other CF malls ive been to. I wish this mall had more choice in terms of luxury offerings/stores and a more high quality food court.
decent mall, very big lots of options. Parking situation expensive and less than ideal, tight spaces to navigate thru, and expensive. Prefer bayshore overall
Great. However in the juice stand they do not have veggie juices.
Half the mall is closed, ambiance not the same. A lot of restaurants closed down close to Rideau. Clean and not busy; except for weekends
Great today shopping everyone was very respectful and kind. i had trouble with parking meter wouldn't take my cards girl stopped by gave me $2.00 fr parking so gave back coffee from Tims to old sole sitting on Rideau St.
Wonderful mall. Love Nordstrom's. I will be back to shop again.
Nice shopping mall with large catalog of brands and shops the foodcourt is nice
Seems uneventful since covid-19 but still has decent services.
it is a fun mall with all the attractions nearby and also has good selection of food at food court. Unfortunately Disney store closed so need for me to go there has decreased on a regular. Overall still a perfect place to visit if you’re visiting the attractions nearby or just want to have a change of sight. Underground Parking can be busy but thats downtown and safest option.
Although there are stores you cant find in other parts of the city I find the mall a bit confusing. I feel terrible walking past all the homeless people to get inside. Love the renovations but the minuses outweigh the pluses for me and will continue to stay away.
Very clean and a good variety of stores. Watch out for the occasional scam artist looking for tourists ????
Stopped here today with the infant I babysit for a day out. Elevators can be a little confusing as some dont go to the first floor but If you use the touch pad display maps they can show you how to the nearest elevator to get you where you need to go.
Very clean. Lots of high-end stores to dollar stores. Food court is awesome, food are fresh.
Has some stores that you cannot find anywhere else in Ottawa. Food court had good options, and is following Covid rules. Parking however is not free, and it is a bit of a maze. Not necessarily great for kids. Well located though as it is walking distance from good restaurants in the market.
While the inside of the mall itself is decent, the entrance was horrible. There were garbage bags at the entrance from the parking lots. I was truly taken aback. Parking is expensive with 1/2 hours 2 dollars the first 2 hours and then 2.25 per 1/2 hour - probably still cheaper than outside parking. Good access via busses and trains. Close to the parliament.
amazing beutiful mall , all the good stores , unfortunately the homeless situation in the tourist area near the mall is unfortunate , and takes away from a great spot
(Oct 13, 2017) Has a lot of stores to choose from and the store is very nicely made, like a maze! The architecture and the structure is amazing!
Had a great plethora of shops but the layout of the mall was pretty wierd and you can get lost.
Nice clean mall, it’s downtown so you get what you get!
If you're visiting Ottawa you should check out this mall, it's a four level shopping mall and it's also connected to the Westin Hotel, so it would be easy access if you were staying there.
I live a couple hours away but I'll be back here again due to the quality of stores. It's worth the drive to get everything you need in one day
A disorganized labyrinth of brand name stores selling overpriced products. One of the most stressful malls to try to move through.
Nicest mall in the area imo. Always clean with good variety of retailers.
Has a very good selection of stores and the only place I know that has one of my preferred salad restaurants.
Great Downtown shopping, good stores. Not great bargain but they pretty much have all you are looking for. Newly developed food court is amazing. Paid parking or commute by bus. Very busy during school sessions.
