Too many people but not terrible parking

I like the new renovation work at the mall looks amazing and feel the same. The down side is the new parking lot it's tight w for small car it's realy tight you will need an extra effort to park. Other than that I love it.

I love the Bayshore Shopping Center! I used to work at Miracle Mart and then it was only 2 floors with The Bay, Eaton's, and Steinbergs grocery store to mention a few major stores. Since then it grew to 3 floors with The Bay still there, as well as Walmart, and many more stores to keep your whole family satisfied! I prefer Bayshore over St. Laurent Shopping Center, Rideau Street Shopping Center, and Place d'Orleans any day! Bayshore consists of 3 easy floors without extra branched off Shopping areas that make it difficult to find the shop you were looking for!

The mall is pretty good - the renovations are nice, good selection of stores. Biggest and best in the west-end. Except the parking garage. It's a horrible nonsensical experience. It might fit lots of cars, but it's a daunting experience the first few times. Even after getting used to it, it's not very fun. I'm not sure there's much that could be done to make it better at this point.

Compared to what I remember Bayshore being like when I was a child, this "updated" version is much more easy to navigate! If by chance you do find yourself puzzled as to where your favorite store may be, there are MANY self-serve touch screen around just about each and every corner! They are about seven feet tall, and almost IMPOSSIBLE to miss. These touch screens offer the ability to search for different stores, as well as the ability to browse every vendors from A-Z! Such an amazing features that has perhaps lesssened the anxiety vmof many customers of this mall! In addition, the food court has relocated to a huge- open concept floor plan. It is truly awe-inspiring, and one must see it with ones own eyes to truly appreciate what has been accomplished here! The transitway has been slightly upgraded, but the bigger upgrade has been the new multi-layer parking garage! It has a counter which which allow motorists to know, in real-time, the exact amount of parking spaces that are available each level of this 4-tier parking structure. Truly a brilliant idea, especially for when the busy shopping season's are upon us! It happens every year HAHA! GREAT JOB ALL AROUND!

Got everything you need and got a lot more after all the renovations. Clean, bright, and very spacious. Still needs a Zellers-like store for some all-around items. Parking is a bit of a pain because of all the construction. Waiting on the food court to be changed then it should be much better.

Apparently since the mall's closing on Dec 26, 2020, the pet store remains pitch black until someone comes in for 2-3 hours a day. Their pet store still hosts cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, birds, etc. This is pretty cruel and the management at the mall isn't responding to this situation at all.

The renovations definitely saved this mall... For the past few years I've avoided this place like the plague. It was as if the owning company was content to let it just fall apart (literally) and just start from new when that happened. Not sure if they sold or someone within the company woke up and realized the potential of this spot since there isn't anything remotely like it except for Rideau (ok there's Orleans but let's be honest... who the hell is going out there willfully). The renovations make it worth coming through spending a day or half shopping (great selection of stores and merchandise) and the new food court is spacious with great selection of food options. It's no longer a spot where you go as a last resort to grab those final Christmas gifts or whatever since it's close by and try to avoid all the buckled and plasters teens that are looking for an easy boost of a wallet or gear... Cant remember how many times I've watched security chase someone down in the past ... Myself included ...*Cough* Did I say that out loud. I mean hey we all did stupid stuff in the past ... ;) Point is the place looks great. They've done a great job with the layout and the shopping experience here is top notch as a whole now. Merchandise, to food down to safety and respect. Today instead of watching group of 3 young guys being chased down by security and out there was a simple conversation which led to an agreement and peaceful departure ... Very classy. Well done folks.

You can find good options to purchase here. variety of brands, products and usually good offers. There is a prepaid card option specific for this centre which can be used in all of the shops. Considering free parking and location, this is a great place for shopping in town. Nice play area for kids.

This place has changed a lot since I was last here, but sadly still feels like a mall from the early 1990’s. Stores are fairly simple. A few vacant units per floor. Difficult to navigate with no mall level map on Google Maps. Also, old trick of escalator to the top floor went out of fashion 25 years ago. I don’t see myself ever going back to Bayshore Shopping Center.

One of the best malls to visit in the city however at least one of the elevators seems to be broken all the time. Broken elevators hinder people's enjoyment of shopping however the selection of stores is good and the parking is free. In Winter visit Santa early in the morning with less lines than in the afternoon or on weekends.

Has every shop you need from Walmart up to The Bay and every choice in between. A good large food court, free parking. Spacious and clean. Has three large levels, you could do a lot of walking back and forth. They placed the stairs, escalators and elevators strategically so you pretty much have to walk past a number of stores to entice you to window shop.

Nice mall with all the amenities, unfortunately not busy even on weekends. Washrooms are clean and accesible. Navigation guides and screen menus are helpful and easy to understand. Parking is very hard to find but didn't as much people inside the mall.

Good mall and good selection of stores, but some stores are constantly changing location. EB games and Happy Daze both must have moved location and floors 4 times in the past 6 months. It's annoying to head for your favorite store only to be greeted with a boarded up wall and a sign saying the store has moved across the mall and 3 floors up.

A good mall with good stores, not alot of brand names so not overly expensive, mall is modern clean and bright. Tiles are tad bit slippery. Parking is a nightmare though very hard to navigate, i just drive straight to top most level as downstairs parking is harder to find. Has bus terminal so easy to navigate that route. Food court has somewhat of a variety but they have a moxie there if you decide to be fancy. Overall a great mall just parking needs to be changed a bit

I've been going to this mall since I was born and believe me it's drastically changed over the last 37 years. I really like the look and layout of the mall honestly - I know i know the parking situation could be better but hey, it's free and there's a lot of spots compared to other Ottawa malls. What I appreciate is the attention to families with children for changing purposes and stroller rentals. The foot court is amazing in my opinion. Something for everyone honestly.

Some patrons don't seem to understand how to properly wear a mask in the mall corridors. Other people don't care about physical distancing in stores. Get some manners, people. Store staffs are great. Some stores are too small for proper distancing but employ best practices. Not my favourite place right now.

Same stores as everywhere else. The food court is decent. Whoever designed the place, specifically the locations of the escalators, must’ve had a bad day. There’s no logic to it, the elevators are too busy and the regular stairs are far apart. That should’ve been addressed during the renovations. Ample parking spots available though.

Pretty awesome shopping centre. Big food court with lots of great places to eat and a variety of stores to shop at. There's always something going on and I love the phone charging stations. You can lock up your phone and let it charge while you walk around. I use it every time. Even the parking structure is pretty great. It has signs that tell you when a lot is full and which lots still have parking left. It's big but it's a pretty straight forward layout which makes it surprisingly easy to navigate. Couldn't ask for much more from a shopping centre really.

Lots of parking, excellent selection of stores & services. Not a seniors recommended mall tho' as Bayshore is a very large expansive mall. Access to various levels is not great as stairs are located in odd areas of mall. Only two small elevators designed solely for strollers or wheelchairs. For ease of accessing the various levels of shopping, I would give this mall a 3 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️. Very good highway access from 417 Queensway & Richmond Road.

The food court has lots of variety. Lots of parking available. A wide range of stores. The touch screen maps make it easier to find the store you're looking for, reducing frustration. Lots of stairs and escalators and the glass walls made it a bit stressful when going there with young children.

Hours are better than downtown too because the downtown mall tends to close a bit earlier to drive traffic to restaurants. Only gripe is the stair and escalator systems. It's unecessarily confusing and forces you to run around the mall in all directions. Annoying for browsers who see a cool store ona different floor, and absolutely dreadful for anyone whos looking to run a simple errand.

Used to be good, but has been slowly getting worse and worse over the years. Covid seems to have struck a nail into Bayshore's coffin. Dirty, loud, and in disarray. The only good place about it is the sushi bar in the food court (that has conviniently moved to the 3rd floor in the middle of the shopping centre).

It's a shopping mall.... Adding to this experience, I would like to point out that the building, given its age, is quite impeccably clean. It's easy to get around if you are disabled, offering centralized elavator service to all of the floors. There is a good variety of brand name labels and even has a Walmart and the Bay. I went to the cell.phone place here called Mobile Klinik. The staff were very courteous and informative. Also, the building isn't overly crowded with people, and offers various points along the way to sit and relax while enjoying a cup of coffee. I may come back here just to look around at things. It was very easy to find what I was looking for. They had these cool touch screen maps around at various points throughout the building.

I enjoy malls of all shapes and sizes. If they’re kept well maintained and clean it should be an enjoyable experience. I know not all malls are as fun as others. It’s hit or miss I suppose but I’ve had no major issues with Bayshore Shopping Centre. It’s clean and well maintained. There are three levels for your shopping pleasures. The only gripe I have is the parking lot. It can be tricky to navigate but just follow the signs and you can’t go wrong. ????☺️

Love this Mall. It is one of the biggest and most stores in one mall in Ottawa city. You could literally spend an entire day at this mall with a huge food court selection. I love this place I'm there at least once or twice a week.

Not a bad mall to visit. One Joy is that it's an actual mall and not a terribly inconvenient "walk around cold" mall. Down side? It's busy. Always busy. It's on the outskirts of downtown Ottawa but people still come here. Use the store directory tap and go things. It helps.

Love Bayshore Mall, just wish they'd go back to their normal operating hours and stay open late till minimum 9pm. Would even be better is they'd be open till 11pm like Walmart is in their mall.

A really nice shopping mall. It has been recently renovated and looks great! The only reason why I haven't given a 5 star rating is because of the parking lot. It's well constructed other than the tight parking spaces. I get its important to squeeze in as many spots as possible, but if you own an oversize vehicle like mine (Journey), it's fairly tight and difficult to get children out of the vehicle.

Standard shopping mall, notable for two major flaws: First, a long layout rather than a more convenient compact layout means you walk for miles to get from one end to the other...it’s like one long strip with three floors. Second, the parking garage is extremely poorly designed - I mean, so bad that I actually avoid going to this mall specifically because the packing is infuriating - spaces are too small, with support pillars in the most bizarre places to maximize inconvenience and make parking in many sport literally impossible (almost designed to really try to damage your vehicle), poor and confusing directional and informational signage, poor/inconvenient/inefficient traffic flow. It’s like they asked a 6th grader to design a parking garage - and then didn’t go with that because they came up with something worse.

Also i think more elevators will be helpful especially for people like me woth the stroller i always have to walk all the way back woth the stroller since i cant take stairs i think one by sports check would be helful as there is already one in the bay at the other end. apart from that i love the mall i can find whatever i need there :)

In general I hate shopping but i get dragged along occasionally. Usually i can handle waking around a mall like a zombie waiting to go home, but Bayshore is a chore to travel. It is so damn difficult to get from floor to floor that you end up walking back and forth a thousand times. Hey there's an escalator!... Oh wait.. it only goes down.. the up one is half a mile the other way... Oh wait... This up escalator skips the second floor!... Let's go walk back past where we started to try to find the right one! Dumbest layout of any building I've ever seen in my entire life. From now on any trips made to this retail maze is made without me.

They have recently expanded their parking and I now find it much HARDER, not easier, to find quick parking. It typically takes me as much time to park as it takes me to shop (I like to go in the mall to buy 2 or 3 specific things). I was a regular customer of the barber shop but I'm considering a switch because it's not worth 15mins of finding parking for a 15min hair cut. UPDATE: I no longer go to this shopping centre unless I absolutely have to, and that is mainly due to the painful parking. So I guess I'm sticking with my 1 star. It's just because of the parking, but that alone destroys the experience for me.

Hands down my favorite mall in Ottawa! There are so many shops there's something for everyone and anyone! The mall is very big so it's never crowded. When I was there, they had a beautiful display of flower arrangements that were represented as different fashion outfits. The food court is great! It has a great number of seats and a large variety of choices! There are lots of spaces in the parking lot to park. It is great for those who take public transport because it is right along the transitway. This is my go to mall!

Very well situated easy acess to mall has multiple level parking. Wal-Mart stays open longer which is a bonus. Mall is very clean and has lots of shops. Food court is big has lots variety of food options. People are friendly.

I'm so glad you added a Stitches location! Overall, the mall is very clean, and the bathrooms were a LOT nicer than I expected (which is always one of my criteria). I'll be shopping there tomorrow, and I feel as though it's worth noting that there are some really great sales. I love how the stores cater to both adult and teen fashion. I'll be going into senior year of high school and Bayshore is definitely my favourite place to shop- all my favourite stores are very close together. It's well-organized despite being a large mall, I like how there's a small (or large) section of the mall dedicated to a specific genre or style instead of just throwing stores all over the place. At first, it was irritating when a bunch of stores kept getting moved around (along with the construction) but it paid off big time. Mall looks great, caters to every need and winds up being a great place to hang out or shop. Keep up the great work (and please try and keep that Stitches store around, I got so many things there last week and the quality of clothes was excellent, along some decent sales).

Mall is massive and has everything you might need. I found the pricing at some stores to be fairly marked up, but is expected from a flagship mall like Bayshore. The underground parking is quite nice and the mall itself is very well maintained. Reminds me of Square One in Mississauga.

Nice place to shop, I love the food court, the layout is smart, I just wish that there was more family booths so my family could always sit together, otherwise my family and me love to walk through the mall and hang out, we normally get ice-cream and it tasty but a little on the expensive side, but other then that I think that many, including me and my family, enjoy it.

I've worked at this mall and shopped here before and I love it. Great mall, lots of varieties of stores especially now that they've added onto it. Personally, I prefer rideau, as there is less screaming, running children at rideau. As well, there is younger crowds at bay shore. But I do love that they have a taco bell at the food court.

Major improvements to this mall over the past couple years. They've done great work with the interior and have plenty of good stores. Always plenty of parking. Best to use level 4 of the garage. It's almost empty so easy to find a space and won't get your car hit/dinged.

Beautiful mall. Newly renovated. All kinds of great stores. Plenty of parking, and best part it's free. Downside is that it can be difficult to find the entrance to the parking garage if you're coming off the highway.

Great mall with great selections. Pro tip: park in floors 2 and 4. With the season getting busy 1,3,5 are super packed. 2 and 4 you just have to go down one flight of stairs and saves you a lot of searching for parking time.

A very popular mall. The parking was a bit of a mess while they were renovating, but it has improved considerably. The food court has also been upgraded a lot. My daughter's love going there with their friends. there are three sets of escalators (one goes all the way from the first floor to the third), and two elevators. For kids, there's a Build-ABear Workshop and a pottery painting place.

This is a great mall. You will find pretty much every store here even a home sense & winners and a Wal-Mart on the third floor. Covered parking is a plus. Great location off the 417 going west or Holly Acres going east off Carling & Bayshore. Great food court. Easy to walk the mall three floors and not confusing layout. Great updates to this mall. Could use a better escalator system, or more of them in better locations. The up and down directions just seem poorly thought out in my opinion. Parking is great! People complain about it but I think its very innovative and even tells you how many spaces remaining on each level. Very easy to get in and out of.

This is one of the best malls to go to in Ottawa especially if you are coming from Barrhaven or Kanata. It's easy to get to by bus or car. We have never had a problem finding parking even on Xmas, but this was with a very experienced driver who knows all of the secret places to park! If you are not familiar with the parking layout you may find it a pain a*% to get in and out. WARNING TO NEW COMERS: The signage is horrendous - no exaggeration! It almost feels like you're on some hidden camera show as you drive in circles following the poorly maked signs and finding yourself behind the mall trapped with tractor trailers backing into loading docks - yeah, this happened to me and relieved to know I'm not the only one tricked by the signage! Ask anyone, they will tell you, it's a great mall, but worst parking lot! The mall is clean and very large. Everything you could possibly need in a mall such as Justice for the teens, Cinnabon to tantalize your tastebuds, or a pet store to take your kids through while Dad checks out EB games! Let your kids ride around the mall on their own mechanical pet animal while you shop - seriously how cool is that? (It does cost money of course). There is a huge selection of food at the food court and we have never had a problem finding a seat. There are 3 floors with every store you can possibly think of! This is a great mall that doesn't feel too chaotic during regular seasons. I really enjoy this mall, however the escalators are a bit confusing and frustrating; in my opinion, it's a bit of a design flaw, perhaps created by the same person who designed the parking lot HAHA! I could see it being tiresome for the elderly, but dont worry, there are elevators for convenience. You will more than likely take the stairs if you are able-bodied. I should note that the mall is wheelchair accessible.

It's not bad. Worth visiting every once in a while. It think the chaos and disorder is just due to covid. Tables aren't cleaned between guests, most tables are without chairs and will not provide more because of capacity (obviously). No social distancing.. lots of construction and unfinshed areas. Good luck trying to navigate the escalators

Biggest mall with a massive parking lot. But warn yourself be sure you keep bigger vehicle off the level parking lot... My truck got really stuck as I'm 2.5" lifted with back rack! I'm not a mall rat and the mall is too huge but really nice compare all malls in the city.

So i love this mall for its large variety of stores and food options. However, the cleaning staff at food court needs to tend to the dirty tables which have been vacated by others. Especially during weekends, when you barely get tofind a spot for your family which consists of a baby, but the table is anything but neat and clean. So i walk up to this guy who was cleaning the floor, and very politely say excuse me Sir, and he starts moping the floor vigorously as though he would blow off his lif at any instant and without even hearing one word of what i had to say, he shouted at me in front of a bunch of other people saying go to customer service of u have anything to say. So humiliated.. really repulsive behaviour for a human being especially when i was very respectful toward him. Any ay i cleaned up my table with baby wipes but this is not done. Have been to a couple of countries but this kinda behaviour and aggressive staff should be checked

Looks beautiful since the expansion and there are a lot of new stores but they need more washrooms! And why did security give me a warning for parking too long!?!? Whether I'm there for an hour by myself or there for 5 hours with my wife and two daughters, free parking is free, right! A piece of paper basically saying if your shopping here, we didn't mean you, but if your working here you'll be ticketed with a city of Ottawa fine seems like a waste of man power and money, or is this your con!?! If I did work there I would be offended and disappointed in my management! Especially with a place that has ample parking!

Pretty good mall, however the focus has turned almost solely to fashion, and I have absolutely no problem with that as usually that's what malls are about. The newly renovated food court is far ahead of the old one the new selection of restaurants is great. There seems to be a store for everyone here, unless you're looking for pc parts, you won't find anything post 2010 here :P

There are so many things to see and do at Bayshore Mall! So many stores to choose from as well as a food court that will please everyone....even your picky eaters! They offer free baby and me yoga classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays (please do call first as classes have been temporarily canceled due to the C-19 virus). Christmas is absolutely stunning as well as Santa and his elves visit faithfully every year♡ every faith, religion and nationality of course are welcomed with open arms♡ If you have never visited Bayshore, you should make it a priority, the visit is well worth your time.

There are lots different shops related to clothing , kitchen ware, hygiene, petshop, boutiques, food places always a good place to eat in there but as due to covid the there is no dine in. And finally there is a walmart on the top level . The only thing i dont like about the place is how parking is, if you are coming for the first time you will be confused .

This mall is not so transit friendly as you will need to walk through the parking lot from station for 4-5 minutes. I hope it will be improved once LRT stage 2 kicks in. This mall will be perfect if it has a Uniqlo and more banks.

Looks like the atmosphere is back in Bayshore shopping centre. I can’t really decide what’s the bougie SC in the city! Between Bayshore, Rideau and St Laurent, I would say Bayshore definitely Takes the cake. Rideau centre is nice but Bayshore has that classy feel to it rather than being a pedestrian transit hub in the centre of downtown.

Bayshore continues to be a fantastic collection of stores, after their massive renovations last year, (its almost completed) they have managed to attract some high end stores. The mall is very clean, the upgraded food court is diverse. Parking takes some getting used to, but if you make it a game, it takes the frustration out if trying to leave.

Probably the best shopping centre in the city. A wide variety of stores for all interest levels and they haven't gone too high-end either. Definitely clothing/fashion-focused. Nice and large food court as well with complimentary chargind stations for your mobile device (a really nice touch). Also fully-equipped garbage stations for recycling and compost as well! If only they would go all the way like some malls and provide plates and glasses and do away with single-use packaging. Can get very busy and while there is plenty of parking (honestly, the parking 'counters' are so often wrong...you just have to drive the the end by The Bay and it's usually completely empty). There are some odd empty stops in the mall for the past few years, and don't try parking on the fifth floor (with the Walmart there, the traffic is really bad).

The mall is great! Wonderful stores with free parking. If you've never been to bayshore or don't go too often, the parking lot could be confusing however, once you go more often, and know exactly where you want to go (I like parking in level 3 near the food court), parking will be a breeze. :) The only issue I have would be the elevators. There are many families with strollers and only 2 elevators in the actual mall itself (not including the bay or winners) and they are so far away from the food court and nursing room. If only they could build another elevator near the food court so we don't have to go all the way to the middle of the mall just to get any elevator. Also, there are signs that say to give priority to wheelchairs and strollers yet many people who can take the escalator take up space on the elevator that strollers, elders, and wheelchairs have to wait for the next run. I remember years ago when there was only 1 elevator they hired someone during the holidays to escort you in the elevators and request priorities for those who needed it. Maybe they can bring that back again. :)

There should be more elevators indoors, it's a long distance to get to the elevators, especially when on the second floor. Should also have a safer way to get to the food court from the outside elevators. High traffic due to people coming into the parking lot and no where to walk safely

The second best shopping center in Ottawa--after the Rideau Center. A good place to shop despite having one of the worst parking lot. Recent renovations have really help out the look and feel of the centre. Pro-tip, park on P4 since there is no direct entrance to the shopping centre, hence, there is more parking place. However, you will have to go down or up some stairs to enter the centre, which might be an inconvenience if you have a baby carriage or limited mobility.

The mall is great, but the parking structure is horrible! It's confusing, hard to navigate, the parking spots are small, the driving lanes are too narrow... I have to brace myself every time I drive there. If you're a public transit commuter, it's fantastic! There is a transit station right there with a covered foot bridge from the bus stop to the mall.

The new facelift has really helped upgrade the look of the mall as a whole, but there are a bunch of really repetitive stores. Way too many chocolate stores, and to many mobile Accessory stores to properly count. But other than that the mall is nice, bright, and clean. Bayshore is a reliable, sophisticated, and trending indoor shopping centre. It is accessible right off the 417 in Ottawa and, with newly expanded parking structures, an easy in and easy out. You will find most everything you need or want in retail shopping variety* and a tasty food court as well. Though the trend leans toward the outdoor, plaza-type shopping centres, Eastern Canada's true-north climate makes indoor malls an essential and still much in demand. Bayshore is this reviewer's fav in Canada's capital. *Note: this review was written at the end of the first year of COVID-19; as such, many stores in the mall were closed and not yet re-opened to the public.

I love this mall! Great selection in stores but as a worker of the Healthcare I was very nervous seeing all three floors packed with people on the weekend. (Saturday) the stores had their own set of rules and limits of people. As of the mall itself with covid-19 having great numbers again i believe there needs to be a limit of people in the mall. For my own experience this past weekend I did my errands and quickly got out as my anxiety was high. There was a case detected in the mall earlier in the months. Not much can happen as it is a public space, people are deliberately choosing to be out. Just reminding people to be safe, and healthy!

This mall is huge. Three floors of everything you can think of. There is a LOT of walking in this mall, wear your comfortable shoes! They do have benches and sitting areas all over the place, so you can take a much needed break. The food court was good. You have your usual places, like Timmies and NYC Fries, but thee was also a nice selection of restaurants I had never heard of before. Was a good switch up. As.for the type of stores, there really is a bit of everything, but if you like to shop for women's clothing, you are going to love this mall. I gave it a 4star instead of a 5star because there just weren't enough shops for guys. Other than that, this is one of the better malls I've been in in quite a long time.

This is about as good as you get for Ottawa malls. It's the only one with a comprehensible layout you won't get lost. However, the parking garage is a nightmare since the renovations and the bus station is a bit of a walk. This makes the nasty Walmart they moved here from Lincoln Fields a lot less useful. It's definitely not upscale but it has everything I need.

The only problem here is that going up or down a floor is annoying, there are only 2 elevators somewhat in the middle; but the escalators are all up on one end, all down on the other end, so someone who cannot use stairs has to go all the way to the other end to go up/down.

It's been a little while since we were here. As others have said the parking spaces are pretty small but with enough skill you can park. When entering from Richmond you enter on the 3 floor and when entering from the 417 you enter on the ground floor this helps to spread out the people. When exiting for the 417, it is very easy. As for the mall, very nice - the windows on the roof help with the natural light. Lots of stores as well so a great one-stop-shop. Visited July 2015

Great mall, a lot of great stores and restaurants. Mall lacks elevators on the East side of the mall. There are two located on the West side, but none on the East side. You pretty much have to walk to entire length of the mall to use the elevator to access the three levels. It's very inconvenient. The parking garage was poorly designed, it's appears as though all they wanted was more shoppers. The parking spots are very tight and pillars are often in the way of opening doors.

Bayshore Mall, the mall I've been going to for as long as I can remember. Tons have changed and upgraded through the years, and it looks beautiful. My two issues are the parking and the food court. The food court is more though about parents allowing their children to run around like it's a park but the parking - as fancy as it looks, is terribly planned and the curbs are too small. The exits and one ways need to be clarified or changed completely. Much better the way it used to be.

Bayshore is always bursting with energy and vibrant shops and happy shoppers. In a world of "dead malls" this place is always good to go. It's always energetic and I love getting a pretzel, grabbing a coffee and exploring new shops while taking my time and smiling back at other shoppers, albeit through my face mask. I hope Bayshore gets better and better. A restaurant much like Moxie's used to be there would be a great addition.

3-story mall with a respectable selection of vendors. Revitalization (2014-2015) gave half the mall a face-lift, so it now looks much more modern, with a nice food court. Parking structure is/was undergoing major re-build (2014-2016), and though it nearly doubles the number of parking spaces, navigation through the structure and the spaces themselves are poorly conceived and executed.

If you have limited mobility, stay as far away from this mall as you can. Elevators and escalators are constantly out of service and the interior elevators takes anywhere between 3 and 6 minutes to go two floors (not an exaggeration; I’ve timed it multiple times since last year and the average is just shy of 4 minutes).

Parking is a nightmare! I used to love going shopping at Bayshore, however; ever since they finished the new parking lot, its impossible to find parking. We drove around for nearly 20 minutes looking for a spot, and when we did find one, it was so far from the entrance and quite a piece to walk with several parcels. This place is absolutely disgusting, the fact that this mall has been getting away with not following a single covid protocol for this long blows my mind. They claim to follow rules yet the food court DOES NOT check vaccine passports, there is NO capacity limit despite being an indoor public setting as well as 0 social distancing takes place. You can also walk around the mall freely MASKLESS with no consequences, you can sit, drink and eat literally anywhere you want inside the mall. The amount of people I’ve watched sneeze & pick their noses then proceed to touch railings or escalators is unreal. On top of all that almost everyday theres a new email sent out to tenants only informing of new confirmed covid cases at the mall, but still they can’t seem to clean up the place.

This mall located in the west in is second best only to Rideau Center. The mall is 3 levels and has a large food court on the second floor by Zara. There are many popular stores here the mall is anchored by Hudson Bay and on the other end it has Walmart. NRML a store that’s focused more on street wear brands had a pop up store and it seemed that the interest was there as they’ve now taken up a spot on the second floor. Parking is ample. I do try and park on level 3 (enter into 2nd floor of mall) since it’s close to the food court. The mall is easy to navigate and can get very busy from tine to time. It’s accessible by public transit with the transit way attached on the second floor. Some of the stores I think are a draw are PINK, Victoria Secret, Apple, H&M (men and women), Winners/Home Sense, NESPRESSO, Sephora, Zara, RW&Co, Browns Shoes, Vans, NRML

This mall is clean and easy to navigate (single hall multiple floors, touch screen maps). Recent renovations have given the mall a modern face-lift and added new retail space along with a new parking structure. The biggest complaint is that the parking lot is nearly impossible to navigate, try your best to follow the signage to improve your odds of making it out.

Place has truly turned into an amazing shopping destination. While there is a lot more high end shops now, was still able to find much to look at throughout the 3 floors. All stores were courteous and very clean. Parking was a bit rough and some construction still going on, but with the gigantic Walmart now added this truly is a one stop shopping mecca. Escalator scheme is one end of the mall goes down one end goes up. Kinda odd. Decent variety of stores (clothes, tv infomercial store, shoes, pets, electronics, ice cream, fast food, decorations, build-a-bear, soaps and scented candles, video games). Around the size of Carlingwood, smaller than Rideau. Bathrooms are generally clean but pretty few (I believe theres only 2 different bathrooms).

The mall itself is a standard, well laid out shopping centre in a relatively easy to access neighborhood from both the side streets and Queensway. Good food court with a wide selection of meals, and your usual fare of stores and kiosks. However, the parking structure is a Kafkian nightmare mixed with an ancient Minoan labyrinth. Multiple stories with bizarre access ramps and chokepoints dominate the structure and breathe despair like some sort of haunted highland fortress, deep in the moors of Scotland. Free parking, though.

I live nearby so I may be a bit biased, however this mall has to be one of the best in town. There are so many themed stores to choose from not to mention the huge food court and the Walmart that you're bound to find pretty much anything you could be looking for. The mall has well: placed amenities for those who use elevators or escalators as well as straightforward stairs. Definitely a great shopping hub in the west end.

Don't go here. It's not worth it. The parking lot is such a huge mistake on their park. Why in the world a mall needs a AIRPORT SIZED parking lot is beyond me. It is so small and confusing. You will spend more time trying to get out than you spend shopping. Just stick to the other malls. It's not worth the time and energy, they really ruined this place with that parking.

I'm not really a mall type person but they have good cafes as well as a Gap, Banana Republic, and Eddie Bauer which are great since we need tall and slim sizes for our family. Staff is great. Bathrooms always sparkling clean with nursing rooms. Great for kids on cold days.

Don't buy their Gift Cards. I had received a few gift cards and due to COVID shut downs I was unable to use them. Tried to use them for online purchases but it wouldn't go thru. Tried to use it last month in store but my gift card was rejected. Called the number on the card and was told that the admin fees were taken off each month while the stores was closed and therefore the value has been reduced to half and that they cannot do anything about it. Will never purchase these Gift Cards again.!!!

This is a nice well layed-out mall. The stairs, escalators and elevators are located in the center of the atrium and it's easy to get around and find what you're looking for. There is a great variety of clothing stores and a convenient Walmart at the East end of the mall.

Bayshore was a horror show today. The mall opens at a designated time but the stores in the mall open at all different times. There were line ups all over the mall with no space for others to walk by. No social distancing! People not obeying the mask rules! Because the stores aren’t open, people are sitting all over the mall with no masks on waiting for stores to open. People drinking coffee walking all over the mall with no masks on. The mall was packed. It was terrible. No one regulating number of people in stores.! No hand sanitizing in stores as there is no one telling people to sanitize. I will not be going back for a long long time. Bayshore should be ashamed

It's a typical shopping mall; however, it has two major flaws. First, as a parent with twin babies, I noticed lots of other parents taking shelter in the mall and walking around, which is great! What is not so great is the place is full of strollers and there are only two elevators in the place, located at one end of the mall. They are always full. So getting to and from the second floor means getting on the elevator when it is empty (if it ever is empty), regardless of which direction it is traveling in. Secondly, the parking garage is a cramped, 1970s designed nightmare. Other than that, it's a mall. Full of mall people. Doing mall things. If you like malls, you might like this one. If you don't, it's to be avoided even more than other malls in the city.

Quite shocking how badly some of the stores are doing in regards to social distancing and how many people are in the store. Carters/OshKosh was absolutely terrifying! They were allowing two cashiers with people at them with barely any room between customers. Store is full of people with no measures to keep people at a distance. Same goes for Kids Foot Locker. Too many teenagers gathered around the counter. Was afraid to approach with my purchase so I put it down and left. Build a Bear was great and took great caution to protect the customer. We honestly had to leave the mall as it was just too much risk!!

What can I say differently from others ???? hmmm well 1st and foremost it's very close to home. 2nd Being handicapped it is easily accessible, throughout including the well thought out floor plans of all the Stores. #3 Except for my Family Doctor, I don't have to go anywhere else for any of my needs, Bayshore Mall has it all. I think most of all what really stands out for me is how Courteous the Bayshore Mall Staff are, one day I had sudden difficulty moving around a young woman approached and helped me, also staying with me until I was better. I thanked her and off she went. As my senses were coming back I realized I never asked her name to Thank her properly. A few weeks later when I went back, I saw the young woman, she worked at the information booth.. I quitely went and got some fresh Pastries... As I gave the box of pastries to her, I hurriedly got away not to give her a chance to return them... Thank you young lady... Bayshore Mall, just makes you feel calm, and it's quite beautifully laid out...

I reported a problem with an employee: no response. Aggressive behaviour by their employee. Monday morning, I contact the City of Ottawa and my Councilor (same area as the mall) to investigate if they can assist me. Bayshore mall doesn't care to correct the problem. If you park near HomeSense: watch out. There is an employee that shovels salt and he acts aggressively. This is NOT the first time. WHO (Omnicron) says to stay at least 1 metre away at all times....this employee brought his snow blow inches from my vehicle. I was in a legal parking spot. If I wasn't, why didn't he ticket or tow my car? Unacceptable. Is this a children's environment for my 4 year old daughter? I am also going to contact HomeSense, and other stores I frequently visit to see if they can assist me. I can't shop at a mall with employees that act inappropriately. I'm coming as a customer to the mall....this employee acts like the mall is his playground. Unacceptable for a loyal customer. NEVER COME near me EVER AGAIN. The mall needs to correct this employee.

This mall had its parking renovated in the last couple years. I'd say that is a positive thing. I found that getting to the top level took seconds. However, the changes they've made to this mall are dizzying and disorienting. I use to be able to enter the main part of the mall with an obvious giant door array from the top floor, but now its a walmart entrance! Inside the mall, there is very poor selection in terms of popular mens tshirts for example. The staff at this mall at various mens clothing stores were not helpful, and in fact didnt even acknowledge me in many cases. The mall is a pain to walk through because you have to use stairs in someplaces and escalators in others and it's just not intuitive and easy to traverse. If you have any kind of walking issues, don't bother going to this mall.

This is the best mall in Ottawa by far. Tons of parking (though the lot can be confusing) only 1 or 2 empty spots in a mall of 100+ stores. Great food court to. Walmart and Old Navy + Tim Hortons to. This is great. I do miss the "daycare while you shop" that they once had but my kid is 17 now so it's all good.

Large mall with many stores to choose from. Usually not packed with people. Went on a Saturday and coukd still walk around easily. The multi level garage is a nightmare. If using it I recommend going right to the top where you can usually park with no problem.

This is a very nice place to walk around. Most of the stores are not my style. I was impressed with the ginormous Walmart and Hudson's Bay. The Hudson's Bay had many options and great deals most of the time. It might be the best one in Ottawa. Many stairs are available and escalators but the elevators are limited. Don't even bother waiting for the elevators because it is very slow. The washroom is not very clean, it smells bad most of the time. Also, the homesense and winners section is not very different from other homesense and winners even though it is so much bigger.

Nice selection of stores. Parking lots are well marked. Only.concern is there are only 2 elevators in the mall and they are super slow... So if you need it due to stroller or walker use, you could be waiting awhile.

Was not pleased that people are not complying to COVID rules. Group of people hovering the cake machine so that they can get a selfie while purchasing. Great concept though. People walking in groups very slowly and it is had for others who are walking the opposite direction... needs a one way direction of traffic

Clean well lit and beautiful.. but none of the stores I actually care about. This shopping mecca is perfect if you are 16 and have lots of disposal income or you want to people watch! The mall has a decent food court and clean washrooms and there is plenty of free parking but your outdoor store selection is limited to Eddy bauer. . which is great if your adventure sees you trekking outdoors to the nearest Starbucks. I honestly feel my soul slipping away when I come here..

My favorite shopping centre! Diverse options and great selection of stores! However, I'm upset that they removed booster juice from the mall and replaced it with Jugo Juice. But overall, I would definitely recommend this as a great and fun place to shop!

Despite Stage 2 being active again the mall still has tables accessible to customers to eat on. They also let people eat on benches throughout the mall causing clusters of people eating (and obviously without masks on) within a 2 meter distance. I saw multiple instances of 12 to 15 people all cramped together eating and when I asked a passing security they said they can't tell them no because it's not "the food court". This place is incredibly unsafe. They don't clean nearly as often as they claim to. The stores seem to be doing ok but it's the communal mall halls and food court dining area that scares me anytime I'm here.

The food court has moved onto the third floor which i must say makes it kinda of convenient. I've never had issues finding parking and for what the Bayshore mall use to be, it has come a very long way, and now has multiple outlet stores servicing all ages, groups and trends. Easily accessible of highway 417.

By far my favourite place to go shopping, even if it is an hour away from me, I still I’ve to go there. Food court is amazing, the food is really good, there are ice cream and soft pretzel places as well. The store prices are reasonable, highly recommend the Starbucks there, amazing service! The escalators and glass elevator adds a nice touch and a true mall feel.

This is a very big mall. It has 3 floors of indoor shops. The bathrooms in the food court are newly renovated with screen indicated when the last cleaning was. It has a beautiful breastfeeding room. With 6 leather chairs and plugs for pumping as well. The food court did not have that many healthy food options but had the usual timmies, new york fries, Chinese , subway etc..

I generally enjoy myself when I go to Bayshore. At the time of rating, it feels like a good number of "shops" are closed or under construction. I'm excited by the potential. I hope they grow into men's fashion a bit more. There are a lot of women's stores, and less for the guys. I'd love to see a Levi's get added too. Overall, I find all the clothing needs I have therea female. The world of make-up is also served with a Sephora and other such shops. They have a few good anchor stores - Hudson's Bay, Walmart, winners/homesense. The food court is pretty solid. There are options for all dietary needs.

UPDATE: The mall is *still* in need of a Dollarama and a wine store, and even with reopening tomorrow, they have done little to address the food court issues. Still no licensed restaurant like other malls have, and unfortunately still two Chinese food takeout places. Only the one that's been there for many years should be there. The newest one should be replaced by a pizza place. Moving to a smaller food court during a pandemic is a recipe for disaster, even if we are limited to takeout for now.This mall is in need of a Dollarama, a wine store, and more variety in the food court. McDonald's should have been allowed in Walmart, as every other Walmart has one. The food court has too much duplication. There are two burger places, two Chinese food places and no place to get pizza. There is no licenced restaurant in the mall. After just a few years, the food court is being moved back to where it was on the third floor, which is ridiculous. The mall is quite clean and well kept inside. Outside is another matter completely, as the no smoking policy is not well enforced and the sidewalks near the entrances littered with cigarette butts often left by mall employees.

I like this mall I used to work there and I enjoyed it. The only issue I have are the escalators they are so poorly placed it gets so confusing when trying to figure out how to get to each floor. It drives me crazy and I end up taking the stairs.

Second largest shopping mall in the capital. It is a stop for many bus routes, but if you prefer driving, it's right off the Queensway and has ample parking! It even has a Walmart as one of the stores.

I drive a pickup truck. I tried to visit the mall as the one time i was there it was great (10 years ago) i drove up from Lansdowne and tried to find parking. To my surprise there is no open parking. My truck is stock and there is no way i would have fit as driving by the signs they were eye level. I found a parking lot around the back that was full of little cars so still no parking for trucks... I know 5 other trucks were following me looking for parking as well. So disappointed. I ended up driving back home...

Yesterday I had my hair cut, pants hemmed and enjoyed a coffee. Apparently I spent too much time at the mall and was slapped with a parking ticket. So next time you're there make sure you do your stuff in record time or be prepared to spend more money than you originally planned

What can I say? A mall is a mall, right? They do have lots of free parking and almost as many kiosks as stores. The mall is clean, store selection is good. They could use more places to sit and rest while your wife ambles through the stores ;^). And moving between the floors is not intuitive if you are not familiar with the mall

Very nice shopping mall with great selection of stores on 3 levels. Unfortunately they redid the parking garage - they made it 5 levels, extremely convoluted in who has to go where, now it's very difficult to get in and out of the mall parking, incredibly frustrating to drive thru the parking lot as everything is one way only ... it's totally exasperating ... to the point I no longer shop at Bayshore just because of the parking garage!

As the other mall increased their parking fees, this place became the first option for me in Ottawa. Almost same brands as the downtown shopping centre but with unlimited shopping hours! Free parking is the best.

Lots of stores to choose from within the mall. The electronic way-finding stations are very easy to use. The one caution when you do need to use them is to make sure that you are clear which floor you are on versus which floor where you want to go is on Also, if you use the escalators to go from one floor to another, take care because there are multi-floor escalators between the first and third floors that don't let you off on the second floor Be aware that there is ONLY ONE pharmacy in the mail. It is inside the Walmart Finally, the "new" parking structure. It definitely is big and has a lot of parking available. Plus, it is "smart", in that it has sensors that track how many spaces are used and how many are available. Electronic signs tell you how many spaces are available where to help you decide where you want to park. Two suggested improvements would be: to install mini versions of these parking availability signs, either by space or at least by row to save one from needing to search for an empty space by weaving up and down the rows; and to improve the directional signage identifying the way out. The current exit signage is poor and often directs you in unnecessary circles

The mall has a little bit of everything. Its spacious so travelling through it is easy. It has 3 floors of stores and has escalators and an elevator to reach them. The parking structure allows for parking on any of the levels. It also has a nice varied food court to stop and refuel when out for the day. It's right off the Richmond and Bayshore exit on 417 highway.

Pretty large shopping mall with a number of well known stores. Food court was rather small I think. The place lacks adequate number of elevators. Clean washrooms and a number of information screens were helpful. There were a number of places to sit and eat ice cream and drink coffee .

Big mall, many stores( Zara, H&M, Walmart, etc...) to visit. Location is easy to find and many parking spots available. It can get very busy during the weekend. Walmart is located on 3rd level of mall so that's also convenient. We spent almost 5 hours and barely had time to visit half the stores.

Mall has been recently renovated; it is clean and bright with a good selection of shops. It would be nice if they added some drinking water fountains. The parking is horrendous though - confusing, very poor signage and maze-like. The spots and lanes are narrow. In this day and age of computer simulation, how they failed to design a better lot is beyond me.

This is one of the 'go to' places for shopping in Ottawa. It is always clean and well maintained inside and out. There is a broad selection of retail stores that I expect will meet most people's shopping needs. The recent addition of more retail space in my opinion is not in keeping with the overall ambiance created by the original mall space. If feels constrained and doesn't flow nicely from the existing mall space.

If you're visiting, this probably our nicest mall in the city. Access from the highway is great. Recently renovated. Mall is clean, lots of different restaurants at the food court. Apple Store. Lots of parking, thought spots are a bit tight. Great mall overall!

I like to visit this mall every weekend. My husband brought me here to shop when I first arrived here in Canada, so this place is very memorable to me. This mall is very convenient too, from hair salon to a grocery store. All in one place. Good place for a quick shopping or even just for a family bonding.

Best mall in Ottawa. Ever! Got a whole lot of amenities and stores. Finally has groceries at Walmart. I know there are people who are afraid of heights. I used to be afraid of going on the third floor when I was a kid but overcame my fears. The mall is easily located where 417 and 416 meet. If you're form out of town you can't miss this mall. Recently it had a lot of renovations. Also its got a bus station and has a lot of great routes.

Bayshore is much improved after the renovation. It had a good selection of shops, and best of all free parking. I find with few exceptions it’s easy to get to, and easy to find parking. The only small issues I have are a less than ideal escalator design (hard to get up and down between some floors), and it does not have much for higher end shopping. There was a Harry Rosen there ages ago. It does have a nice Roots store, Apple store, and Eddy Bauer. Bayshore and Rideau Centre are definitely the only malls I bother to go to.

Its very small and seems a bit old compared to the washrooms in the food court (second floor). This mall should have an escalator that goes all the way down from Walmart since it already has one that goes all the way up from the main floor (very convenient). ofc with covid, seating areas are closed in the food court.

The renovated mall is awful. There are not enough escalators which means much walking or climbing stairs too often. The parking is simply madness. The directions and setup are so confusing it is hard to know whether one is going in the right direction to get out or simply to make another turn in the maze. I will not shop here any more unless I absolutely have to. They could have done a much better job by thinking about the actual shoppers who use the place. Not the place it used to be.

I’ve been shopping here for years but just recently we went in to do some shopping the Friday before Xmas... came out to the car and some one slashed my front tire... for no reason at all, I have no idea why someone would do this, especially right before Xmas, like another expense is really what we need right now. Brand new set of tires had to replace two front tires. Good time’s !!
