This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
Nice mall, too little stores
Has some good stores inside of it
Great location and variety of merchandise the whole family can appreciate.
Malls are not my thing only when I need something do I enter a mall too many people
Nice mall for some quick shopping
Stores in this mall is honestly scarce. They got rid of my favorite stores within the same month and all you can really buy hear is jewelry and knickknacks.
Good selection of stores the people are friendly and not over crowded with people just there to hang out.
dont go there unless you want to get sick - this mall is gross and the places that offer services and no guest services to complain or inquire
Love parkland mall as it is a quick drive from home and has everything I need.
It's gone downhill. There isn't many stores anymore. The food court doesn't have much options. It's only great for meeting for coffee as most people I know don't drive.
You can always find parking at this mall. It is missing its anchor stores Sears and Safeway. Walmart is all that sustains the mall these days. Too bad it is in a good location.
The Mall don't have much crowd & don't have much store too. Most of the space is taken by Walmart & Good Life.
The place to be in the 1980s and 1990s. Once home to Sears, Music World, Jersey City, and other stores. I would of rated it 4 or 5 stars, but due to the economy, pandemic, online shopping and Bower Place, not a lot of options these days. Still cool to visit for nostalgic reasons.
It has lost the two main anchor stores and has trouble retaining smaller businesses. It still has good traffic, with Walmart doing well. It lost more stores.
The least this mall can do is have free wifi like all the other malls
Good selection of wares due to many different stores
It's sad, the place looks like a ghost town, so many failed stores and broken dreams!
Looking a little rough, could use more regular cleaning...
As with most malls this one is in a stage of death. There really isn't much going on here anymore on the inside unless you like those lularu leggings... There are three independent retailers selling them in different locations. There is a newer Dollarama across the road by the Shoppers so I'm not even sure why the one in the mall is still open. The Walmart has THE WORST layout EVER. It's an ok place to stop for lunch if you're needing a quick bite..
We get great service from all the tenants we shop at.... Getting a little thin but it's convenient and not crowded.
Small, quiet mall but it still has a selection of shopping. A few vacant spots in the mall. Lots of parking available.
This mall is definitely improving it's shopping experience. With new tenants, it will be interesting to see where people will choose to shop.
With the loss of Safeway and Sportchek this mall is losing its diversity. It's populated largely by clothing and jewellery stores, and phone booths, with a store here and there that caters to other interests. Unfortunately if you're not shopping for clothes nor a new phone plan you're going to be disappointed. Come with low expectations or an empty stomach.
Very mally. Was nice.
All the stores I love in one place ????
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great selection of western products. Great selection of boots!
Shes looking a bit bleak in the old mall now a days. Food court has like 4 vendors and there is space for rent alllllllll over the place. I don't know why we continue to build strip malls when there is vacant rent all over here and the city.
Great place to waist time , nothing worth looking at as the choice of shopping is limited.
I was surprised at how many stores are in here, seems very clean and not too busy
Need better stores. Maybe the rent is to high for spaces! Dont know? Needs another big draw store like SEARS was. I'm sure they will get back up there when everything settles down with Covid19. ????????
The selection of stores that remain are alright. Definitely slowly dieing compared to what it used to be 10 years ago.
I have run out of reasons to shop here, 14 stores are now empty. Good example of the economic damage in alberta.
i enjoy walking around the mall and walmart too and nice stores also ????
Compare bower mall less traffic easy in and out
People are good
Empty almost. The few there were polite.
Good variety of stores. Nice staff. Easy to navigate
It's a nice ball its horn there since rex deer was smaller city. Nice stores . Too bad brick and mortar stores are dying because people shop in there underwear at home. It wasnt busy when I was there so xmas shopping should go smoothly for shoppers.
My friend and I went shopping in the dress store Eros yesterday. Not only are the stores attendants extremely rude, but she was fat shaming my friend and I in a dress shop. My friend and I walked away from Eros extremely dissatisfied and angry and I would NEVER recommend anyone shop for grad dresses in Eros. They have lost our business, and you might want to think twice about your grad dress shopping there as well. After the fat shaming, rudeness, and lack of any assistance whatsoever, Eros has proven to be a horrible store with pathetic customer service and ignorant staff. ADULTS should NEVER fat shame teenagers! I will be posting this on several community groups near Red Deer as well as calling to speak to the manager of Eros about the blatant and ignorant staff member working there on Friday afternoon. Parkland Mall would benefit having a serious discussion with the owner and manager of Eros. I run a Japanese cultural group in central Alberta with about 650 members and I can guarantee you that this shop will not be receiving any of the grads in my group this year.
The mall is small, but it's well maintained. You'll never get lost here???? If you're looking for a job in retail, I saw a sign that stitches is hiring among many other stores that a looking for new employees. If you're new to Red deer and wants to visit the mall, parkland is a good place to start.
Kinda going downhill these days, needs a bit of an upgrade and more modern shops
Smaller mall but all the stores you need. Great food court but thats the fat guy in me.
I have found many deals, and as a regular, that says a lot for service and security. I really like it and has all we need.
If you are looking for a new phone or wanting to switch providers, go to Bell in Parkland and ask to speak to Ashley. She is super kind and can help you with anything you are looking for. She is also amazing at helping you pick the cheapest plan and whatever else you want to suit your needs! I've been with bell since I got my very first phone and have always gotten screwed over by someone. This didn't happen with Ashley. She knew exactly what she was doing and got me everything I needed for the cheapest price! If I could rate her more than five stars, I definitely would! Best experience I've had yet with a service provider :)
Honestly one of my favourite places in red deer ! They remember their customers as well as have very reasonable pricing! On top of that the food tastes delicious. I personally find that my appetite grows as I watch them freshly prepared my meal infront of me!
Love this place
This is a good place if your looking for something quick but there's not a whole lot of stores/ alot of boring stores, otherwise lots of the staff are great and a great place to meet up with some friends without confusion on where they are
Hardly any stores, most of them closed. The ones that are there are decent, but it's not a mall that you head to for an afternoon of browsing, it's more of a mall you go to when you need to visit one of the stores specifically. If they filled all their bays, it would likely revitalize it.
Nice shopping, friendly people
Dropped in to purchase a birthday present at Walmart north, quick in and out. Staff very helpful at check out.
It has what you need from a mall. Not too big, not too small. Good selection of everything
Always clean mall, just empty
Best mall in Red Deer. Has all the high end popular stores. Several different Cell Mobility stores. Large food court with several healthy options. The mall is anchored by Hudson's Bay and Toys 'R Us.
Clean, not too crowded and the stores I went in provided excellent service. ????
It was very friendly
Parkland mall is an alright mall, it feels kind of empty compared to Bower Mall but I guess that's not really a big complaint. It's got a lot of different stores and some even Bower Mall doesn't have like Dollarama but the best part is that it's attached to Walmart. It's worth checking out every once in a while but for me personally it just feels average, not bad by any means, it can be a lot of fun actually but I still prefer Bower Mall.
Love this mall starting to get more stores winners, ardene, gyms
Great mall to shop at! Full of stores with informative friendly staff!
Its a red deer mall. Meh.
Bower mall has a better food court but parkland has Walmart and Winners. While I think winners in southpoint common is better, there are still some decent threads to be had at the newer location. Especially convenient for those who reside in the NERD
Could use more stores, still has a limited amount stores
A great mall and awesome food court
The slow decline
Easy parking was able to get in and purchase what I needed without any problem and the stores I visited had great staff helpful and personable
place has gone down hill bad... we used to love coming here, now we hate it, only place my wife will go is ardenes that's it.
Winners is saying mandatory masks. Never shopping there again. The mall is dying out
Slowly dying mall but there's and arcade now and a collectables store so worth coming back to, especially with the attached Walmart
It's a quaint mall, though a few of the stores are currently empty. There isn't much variety when it comes to stores either. Mostly clothing and shoe stores, with a couple of unique ones mixed in. It is still quite a good mall though, as many of the staff members in each store have been quite friendly and Security seems to do their job quite well when required. They do seem to be getting more stores in the mall however, such as Sophie's Treats and a very interesting "man cave" style gift shop near the food court. It does also contain both a Walmart and an EB Games, which is mostly why I go there anyways. All in all, it's still a pretty good mall.
It's a circus in there.. but can't beat the prices
It's the mall and now stores are open for everyone convenience to go and get what you need and leave in a mannerly fashion????
Has it all. Nice people great product . Variety and Quality. I recommend shopping here.
Parkland mall is becoming way too empty. There’s really nothing there anymore. Sad to say
Half the mall was cell phone stores. I can tell why it's completely dead.
Worst food court I have ever been to. Most of the shops serve no selection and are always out of everything. Just terrible.
It was nice to finally go there.
It's okay but the mall looks really outdated overall. As far as the shops go, the mall is okay for those as well. It's not the worst mall by far. But as far as the mall goes it needs a serious update.
Weak mall. Wal-Mart seems to be one of the only things keeping it alive. That and the Dollarama.
Really nice mall
Clean efficient personable I am going back for sure
Needs more good stores. No more clothing ones needed
Wasn't thrilled to find out the washrooms in food court are closed for renos, was not impressed with port O potties especially during this cold snap. Thanks Hudson's Bay for keeping your washrooms open. BAD SET UP!!
I don't go to malls much because all the people . With my anxiety. This mall is nice not to busy all time. Good stores.
Friendly, very clean, bright, many stores and a McDonald's and Tim Hortons. Food court is very, very expensive. Didn't like that aspect. Has a Dollar store. Good parking any where in the area and close to many other services and malls with easy access to downtown Red Deer.
A great place to shop
This may be the most Getto mall I have ever been to. There is tons of parki g due to more stores closed then opened. And the only thing keeping this mall alive is the Wal-Mart in it. Even most staff are just sitting on their phones waiting for the earth to end around them. There are NO good deals in here even though most stores are having a closing sale. Do your self a favor and go to any mall but this one.
On the day I was there, there were allot of people. Even so, the store workers had smiles on their faces and did not hesitate to ask if they could be of assistance. Well laid out and easy to navigate.
Nice mall lots of choices for stores especially clothes. Lol. Food court has been gradually getting worse.
Death of an iconic mall in Red Deer. Owners let it get run down and all the businesses have left.
Great stores
Good food court. Stores seem to be coming in as businesses closed or left due to economic downturn. A new Winnera too
Needs to make the ambiance looks lively
I love this mall. It's quaint, we'll layed out with that down home feel. The security team is very helpful and do a good job (they are under appreciated by people so I had to mention them). I would shop at Parkland Mall any day over the other mall in town. ????
Real fun lots of girls to look at lol
Alright, been going there for years. Looks like lots of closed buisness now. Anyways will keep shopping there when we can.
It's OK, is very outdated compared to bower but it has some cool stores
I think the mall gets a bad rap. Its clean and safe, plenty of shopping and parking. Maybe not as nice as Bower, but still has lots of options and was a nice place to walk around in the other day during the rain.
Needs more stores in mall. Or services. Like doctors offices. Nice to see Winners opening soon.
Not a bad mall. Alot of empty stores right now
Great mall! Not a ton or large selection of stores but it is always a slower pace and not crazy busy which is nice to say of a mall
So many shops closing down. It doesn't have variety and it also smells kinda weird
Almost everything your looking for. Food court awesome. Could use better clothing store's more brand names.
The staff were nice and friendly. I was quoted 3 hrs and it was done in half the time. Very happy with the results. Thank you Winshield surgeons.
I only go to the mall part once or twice a year. Walmart and Staples are the big draw for me. All the phone companies are in the mall. The usual fast food in the food court (including Timmies). There are two Ingress portals which means there is likely one Pokémon gym and one pokestop.
I was just browsing. That said the food court is open but you can't sit and eat right now due to covid.
Aside from Goodlife Fitness and Walmart there's just not much at this mall. The shops are at least 1/4 vacant and what's there isn't busy. There's construction going on so we'll see what the future holds.
Lots of room to wander and shop. Clean environnement.
I dislike going to this mall. Bad store selection and even the air is not properly circulated as it smells like cheap plastic everywhere in the main areas. Can't wait until they renovate it or do something to bring it up a notch!
A nice enough mall. Like most malls it has seen better days, but it is still decent.
Went to the food court they had taken away all the tables with movable chair. Being plus size it was so uncomfortable perched on the side of a chair that would not move. Unable to sit and enjoy my meal. It was very humiliating having it pointed out in such an obvious fashion that I was too big to sit in their chairs.
I like shopping there cause not as busy as the Bower Mall
Mall is slowly coming to a end but its still half decently convenient for people on the north end
Nice little strip mall with shops. On Friday and Saturday they have local vendors and it is awesome
The place is a virtual ghost town as of late, the halls are empty and it can feel like there are more enjoy stalls than occupied ones. Generally it isn't worth spending time here unless you have a particular store you want to visit.
Pleasant, everyone was abiding the distance rule
For the most part, it's a pretty decent mall. It's clean and seems well maintained but the store selection is a bit poor and the food court is definitely not high on selections either.
They need to update this Mall completely before it dies. Maybe a couple of Upscale restaurants. An Amusement Center and a movie theatre. Better stores too
Nice that Winners is coming but it's mostly a cell phone mall. Lacking variety.
Easy to navigate and most of the things you need under one roof. Definitely needs to improve on their shops longevity however.
This place sucks. Most of the store fronts are empty. And the only people that come here are the elderly (to get their coffee) and all of the hooligans that live on the north end of Red Deer.
It's a bit shocking to see how many stores are empty here. Hopefully the north end gets more development.
Red deer 2nd biggest mall. Has lower quality shopping for clothing and style but more of a variety of a selection. Wal-Mart is attached. Dollarama inside. 2 or 3 new stores to open Soon! Stay tuned!
nice floor plan food court is outta date and the mall shops are a bit outta touch with the surrounding communiy and there needs basically an indoor 2nd world strip mall at best sorry it shows how the oilfeild crisis in alberta has affected a city still a day out on a day off is today was winners and ardene
Quite quiet in the mall. New exciting stores could bring back business for everyone
Great prices
Not much reason to shop there unless you want clothes...not a great selection to choose from...has a great EB games and the food court is good for being so small..
Short Staffed. Kept asking one gentleman for certain things I was having difficulty finding but he didn't seem to know much. Finally put of Frustration I asked him if he was new staff. Response was NO because he was only a janitor and asked him to help due to Shortage of Staff. I walked out EMPTY HANDED. FRIEND was a cashier and you'd be astonished how much each cash register rings out per Register. Maybe a Novel idea would to increase wages. As a result I went to another store
It's starting to get rough. Besides Wal-Mart there is not much that attracts people here. There's barely any stores I recongnize and seek out.
Fit 4Less is a marvelous workout and fitness facility. Open 24 /7. Clean, new, large with virtual cycling and many fitness and yoga videos.
Has potential, needs more actual stores instead of the pop up stores. I think Winners will really help. Food Court definitely needs some help.
Devine nails just got it renovated looks really nice
Meh. Kinda dirty. They need to take better care of the cleanliness. Every time I walk through the lobby area between the Wal-Mart and the mall... I see garbage and old food etc piled over the garbage and it looks nasty.
Thanks to Covid you're not even allowed to sit down in the food court and watch the tumbleweeds go by....
Everyone loves parkland mall. Even Emily Ouimet. Lol
Good ambience
Not my first choice of mall. Lots of drug addicts and theives.
A nice mall, but they seem to be struggling. Stores don't last long here and something is always closing down for some reason. Still some of the best shopping on the North end of red deer though.
It was ok good service in the stores I went into. Sad to see all the empty stores.
Too many empty stores. Telus store good service, lots of trainees.Crowded, hard to do business standing up now has seats nearby
Feels empty and lack of options to shop at.
What to say about my most favorite mall red deer .The Ghettoness is never ending and the lack of quality stores is missing. If you enjoy a ram sacked Wal mart that smells like McDonald's and looks like a possible invaded war zone that should be controlled with Riot Police and swat teams then this is your place . The mall is in desperate need of a very costly image change on the Northend or a Bulldozer the 30 year eyesore must end. I still shop here why because it's the normal place for me and my type of warzone ???? .Parking sucks even though it's 1/8 of the size of North red deer .
Lots of stores are closed. Economic disaster
Security is minimal and the food court is a janitorial nightmare. A necessary evil but could definitely go for more security and janitorial staffing.
Parkland Mall Has the coolest bikes
I feel like they don't stack up to the bower mall for specialty stores and I wish they would have left the charging stations in but I use Walmart alot and love the food court. Think it needs a new look. Not much in the way of looks have been upgraded. I still would give it a 3 star review.
Born and raised in red deer. I remember smoking in this mall. So many memories from loitering, meeting friends , toying with the security guards to shopping with my kids today. I 100% without a doubt CHOOSE this mall over Bower mall. My kind of friendly, caring, polite, respectful people(staff and shoppers that choose this mall are a rare breed????????) So if you, like me think normal people suck. Then I highly recommend you to CHOOSE parkland mall for all your need and wants
Nice little Mall at the North hill. I like, that they have Walmart and Dollarama in one place. Food court includes A&W, Subway, New York Fries and some more, but those are my favourite. It would be great to have some place there, where you can leave kids to play.
Easy to park, nice store at Staples--lots of inventory and friendly staff--thanks.
What is going on with this mall? Stopped in here for the first time in several years what a disaster. Unless your looking for a new ellular company this mall is a sad excuse for a shopping mall. Even if I wanted to waste money I'm not sure what I could of even bought. More than half the units are closed up or staff was " back in 5mins". Wont be back!
Great medium sized mall in Red Deer. If your ever in the City!!
Very open and relaxing atmosphere. People are great!
The only mall I really like it's not to big but has EVERYTHING you need
im under the impression that the mall itself isnt doing well theres alot of empty units and others are run down
One of the first mall I went to when I first moved here. It was cool.
Everything you need
not bad, could use some improvements
This mall is sooo empty, my favourite store Murdawg Apparel. There are a few good stores left but sadly it isn't worth stopping any more. Staff has told me its getting shut down to be turned in to a fitness centre.
If it wasn't for Walmart the mall would not still be open. It has minimal stores worry going into. Multiple cell phone stores. Upwards of 10. The food court food is awful. Thank goodness they have a subway. Skip parkland mall and head to bower mall you will not be disappointed.
It's nice to see the people are maintaining social distance and that the mall has mask-wearing in effect
It was enjoyable as we got our walk in as well as doing some shopping. We have to walk each day if possible and always find staff in the mall very helpful.
The mall of all malls is what this place used to be. Now it's the mall of empty spaces, and places where nothing is. They have more square footage available to rent than they do have rented from appearances alone. That may not be fact but it's sure how things look as a shopper I would say. Now if only they could fill some of that dead space they might then be able to call it a mask once again, instead of a half empty warehouse. Just sayin'!!
Dislike this mall. Well arcade is cool in there.
This mall doesn't have as much as Bower but it does have a few stores that they don't. Overall nice little mall.
A little scruffy, but decent mall. Lots of parking.
Very quiet. Nice and clean
I love this mall. Every store I have visited there are super cool and friendly. I love going there.????????♥️♥️????????
Nice cozy mall. Not a zoo..makes me happy. Parking's kind of hectic, though.
Use to go here when I was young was nice back then hasn't changed much besides the kind of people around there
Great mall but a lot of open real estate.
Its always under renovation, and most stores doesn't stay too long and another store takes over. Pretty mediocre for a mall, mostly empty. Walmart is probably the reason why most people go there.
This mall has really gone down hill over the last couple of years, stores are shutting down frequently. Only reason I go is because of the close proximity to the north end. If it wasn't for walmart I'm sure the mall would be empty.
It's a mall no comment lol
Parkland mall is a good place to shop but needs more stores.
A good one stop shop kinda place.
Love this mall, great location
Quiet with no line ups
It was good I got what I wanted
It was nice and cool
Clean, small mall. Enjoyed my shopping experience here.
It's a nice mall and still looking great they made some changes on the floor plan. Some new stores and l like the style now. Wishing only if they can introduce outlet style at the mall. And my last visit to the mall as well is rather disappointing. ( WHY) because of one, the person at the phone booth kiosk called a cop on me she claimed that l was intoxicated had a bottle in my jacket pocket and causing problems. I was talking to a friend who also has business in the mall when the cop confronted me regarding this claim. The officer checked me out and with his assessment. l never smell or even had a drop of alcohol and the bottle that apparently l had it on me was never found. A word of suggestion to you next time you'll find yourself in a courthouse scrambling to hire a lawyer that will milk you out dry. Just to give you a little taste of your own stupidity.
Great assortment of great stores and food vendors, excellent location, easy to navigate.
love shopping here, but seems more store are closing faster than they can open them up
Overall it was a good mall, as you'd expect from a mall to be fair. But for options it wasn't too bad but it did lack in alot of options you'd expect.
Used to be a great mall. But is dying quickly. Way too many closed down stores. Only thing keeping them going is wal mart
I'm pretty sure this was a great mall, but as of now most of its stores are already closing for good, so nothing much to do here anymore.
Always seems to be new stores and kiosks popping up all over and new renovations bringing it back to life, lots of fun little stores and places to shop at, lots of diversity of shop types. Check it out Who knows maybe it's got exactly what you didn't know you were looking for.
Not a place I go as I can't stand Walmart and it's most definitely the teen mall in town and caters to them. Not many stores are in there that I like or have shopped in in the last 10 years. Great place when your 16 not as much at 35!
A pinical location for the north end it's a great meeting place for all to enjoy with so much room and an endless parking lot it's very convenient.
Good place to go shopping
I encourage people to shop somewhere else in Red Deer if you don’t want to be followed around the mall because somebody from security is having a bad day or just decides that I’m going to harass you just for the fun of it also you got a Karen running around the mall that will follow you if you sneeze or you gave her a dirty look and will try to take a photo or video of you because somebody is mad about her life better watch your back people when you decide to come here to shop don’t expect it to be a positive experience at this mall.
A sad remnant of Red Deer's first shopping mall. Location location location.
I love this mall. I can get my eyebrows done, great selection of stores and it's never over crowded.
It's a typical mall nothing special
Stopped by the mall to check out the market. Saw lots of unique items for Christmas gifts.
Most stores are closed. Except something like 13 phone booths, mostly run by the same people. Illusion of choice! Best Tim Hortons in Red Deer, though.
Has been run down over the years a has troubles keeping stores. Getting better with a new gym set to open this month.
This mall has been slowly having the anchor stores in it moving out. The only thing keeping it open is the walmart.
Lots of parking, I always find the hours constricting and the selection of stores limited.
A bit dirty and on the lower end of the quality scale, but the wares are decent enough.
I like Parkland Mall. I've been going there for two years now.The Food Court is always clean and has lots of seating available. I'm curious to see what the new development is at the north entrance, great to see the mall continues to move forward when other malls are dying out across Canada.
Many vacancies throughout the mall...major anchors like Safeway, Sears and sport Chek have moved to south end of red deer
So many closed stores. They should have made half the mall into senior's living.
Would like to see more stores open in here, very sad seeing empty spots
This is very interesting mall. It looks good and interconnected to different shops. Food court is great. Lots of choices to eat. Wide and spacious.
Lovely people work here but the management has all but given up on getting new store fronts in. It was the safest thing to see next to no body in the mall over the Christmas rush.
Great location with lots of parking and a good Winners. Although there are a lot of empty storefronts there are occasional popups and some nicely furnished rest areas. During the Christmas season they put on a great indoor farmer's market, a great place to pick up those last minute gifts.
Slowly dying mall but there's and arcade now and a collectables store so worth coming back to, especially with the attached Walmart
It is a very clean and quiet mall
Great place to shop nice stores not over run. Nice place for seniors to shop as well as to something to eat. I don't shop at the bower any more to fast paced.
It's very barren. Ardenes is awesome though
Always loved Parkland Mall. It's my go too. Sad part is, they dont seem to be doing enough to keep stores or people open and in. I will continue to go there.
A lot of the stores are closed but they are building an addition on so it might pick up in time. The stores here cover all the basics and it's linked to the Walmart
This 2/5 stars is simply due to the fact that some places there are not keeping a safe place to shop during Covid. One in particular being the hair place, flocks of people outside not distancing When I went into winners nobody was there counting the people coming in and out. I come here often with my work and I know the management takes things seriously, I want a safe shopping experience and I usually always get one here. Bathrooms were very clean and the gentleman at the dollar store cleaned a cart for me without asking.
It was good! Busy today. It had what i was looking for.
Clean, well organized. Not very many stores left. A little bit on the pricy side alot like bower. Too many cheap knock off kiosks
Not crowded, a lot of empty store spaces.
When I'm in red deer I go here only as needed.. it has all the basics which makes it great but unfortunately after the past few years its had it doesnt feel overly comforting to be there lol.. prefer to go south if I can.. but it is conveniently located and cheap and has everything u could need so 4 stars regardless of the mess that it attracts sometimes lol
GoodLife fitness, Walmart, Tim's and EB games are some of the hot spots of this mall.
Great location for convenience, more security could probably help clean the place up a little - and keep the meat heads out of the Handicap parking spaces.
It wasn't too busy at Walmart today
Nice stores
A plethora of cell phone shops (counted 7). Good food court, I with it had less cell phone stores and more variety.
you usually have parking lot. It is not a too crowded place, but it have too many closing stores for my taste, lot's of empty spot where they should be stores. I love the stuffie store, now there is gym, you can find good prices on shoes on shoe warehouse, good deals on la senza, and a Walmart too.
A small mall with less buggie stores but great deals and has everything you need
Parklanx is the mall of Red Deer that no one really wants to go to. The businesses are shutting down. There's nothing really special or unique here. It's an animal barely clinging on to life that they either refuse to let die, or allow something more vibrant to be brought in.
Shops are mostly back open. Stores all have sanitizer and policies to help with distancing. Most of the food court is open too
This place was a hangout spot pre covid, as it was for many. I enjoy it, lots of good stores too.
Shops have closed down so much in this mall that I think the mall needs to reorganize things and make the mall more appealing!
Place is quiet, but sraff are friendly and helpful
It's not a Mall.... It's a ghost town... Hardly any stores, needs to be shut down
This mall is conveniently located for people who live on the north side of Ted Deer. The stores that are still open for business are high quality store with brand names. Some for young, a few for men and mostly ladies wear. Bootlegged/Rickies are together and have a really nice selection. Womens Blazers are back!!! Attitude and the name brand skater, etc. variety for the younger yo middle ager's who like that in casual, but pricey styles. Great service there. Lots of cell phone shops and more. Gordon's smoke shop. He is a very nice man with a lot of cool stuff. And if course the Food court, dollor store, Winners, and Walmart. I hope to see more businesses come back the that mall. Village mall is across the street conveniently and the area needs the variety, in my opinion.
Quiet mall. Good food at food court. Walmart is there also. Get most things you need!
I will always love this place... I hope it survives!
Good place for shopping
Not the best food court selection. Mostly budget shopping stores. I hear the nail salon is quite good though.
Parkland is my go-to place for Shopping, it's close for residents of the North end and has most of the necessities including Wal-Mart, hair salons, cell providers, electronics, clothing, EB Games, Staples, Showcase, a dollar store, jewelry stores, candy shops, a great variety of hot and fresh restaurant options in the food court, a card & gift store, build-a-bear, a luggage shop, a small perfume corner, a smoke shop and last but not least Tim Hortons. It would be nice to see some of the empty stores fill up to breath some new life and attract more customers. Over all the mall is very clean and well kept, the bathrooms are big and bright and always clean and well stocked. The entire mall is easily accessible for anyone with any type of disability and/or any type of wheelchair, stroller or scooter. Electric Scooters can be signed out free of charge from customer service with picture id for those that may need assistance. I would gladly give Parkland 5 Stars if only they had a pet store :)
Great variety of restaurants and stores. Usually kept quite clean and enough parking spots close to entrances for easy access to any given store.
Very quiet for 6:30 PM and looks a little empty but all the stores that we went to were great and love New York Fries
I love the kids place here. The people who work there are so kind and helpful. I just wish they had a washroom closer it's hard with multiple kids to pull everyone out when one has to go and get there in time.
Once they open up Winners the mall should hopefully improve. Otherwise it doesn't have very good stores.
Not sure what to say as a once glorius hotbed of action mall obviously is struggling to find strong tenants and is relegated to taking anyone who will fill space and pay rent. Still clean and good upkeep but very uninteresting. The food court even closed off all seating so you pretty much need to eat your food standing or in your car. Find a grocery store then go picnic in a park vs going to the mall!
I love this mall because it is far less crowded than Bower. Always easy to find a parking spot.
It is a location to shop, unfortunately they seem to be losing stores faster than they can replace them. Here's hoping the new good life fitness going in there can help. I recommend checking out House of Eka in the food court they have very friendly staff and the food tastes really good.
Love this mall it maybe quiet but close to home and the mall is still place to shop
Not much for shop options but does have the, in my opinion, the best EB Games in town. Friendly staff.
Mall has maybe 2 good places. Bunch of closed stores, needs better quality places to shop or people will stop shopping there
Love this mall but it's starting to have to meny empty spots.
Our visit today was to walmart for some burn gel. Hes its hot out there. But overall Parkland mall has many closed stores in the mall itself but not only related to covid as this was similar before. Overall its an ok mall but i wosh it could get an update and modernization to entice newer businesses. Thr mall is clean and the walmart side is busy. The options in the food court arent bad too.
Yikes! Your for sure in the ghetto! Hardly any stores, lots of empty bays. Don't go here unless you absolutely have too. Sorry
More empty shop stalls than actual populated storefronts. Of the actual stores there the largest percentage is sadly phone kiosks.
Exceptional little mall, limited selection but for casual fast food or some basic shopping you can find everything you need.
I think this is the lesser of the two malls in Red Deer. Don't make eye contact with the kiosk vendors, they can be pretty pushy. Two big anchor stores sitting empty as of Christmas 2016, not a good sign, but the other mall has the former Target space sitting empty too, so I guess times are tough all over.
Quite a few vendors its definitely worth going to check out whether it be for a snack or a new wardrobe. They have quite the variety.
I prefer this mall over bower but it seems to be truly dying. I was shopping for my son and there was no where to buy boys clothes besides walmart. If it wasnt for th3 e food court gym walmart and dollarama i worry this mall would be shut down. Almost every second door is a closed store its very sad to see honestly.
This is a dying mall. As many closed stores as there are open, except for cellular phone stores of which there are at least 7.
Run down and ready to close! Only reason they are still open is because of Walmart
Kinda empty, and has had some vandalism. It feels sketchy and I don't take my older mother there anymore.
Ok mall. Easy to find parking since the mall is mostly closed stores and empty hallways. Subway is good in the food court. Stitches store is the bomb.... Those are the only reasons this mall gets 3 stars
This mall is nice it has lots of shops including a Walmart and a awesome food court.
It's just a mall, but definitely the more run down mall in Red Deer. The main attractions of Parkland Mall are it's food court, Staples and Walmart and not much else. If you wanna go to a mall to shop, this mall definitely is not the place.
I hadn't been there in awhile and I was impressed how nice it was considering how old the mall is.
I like that Wal Mart is part of the mall. It seriously needs updating overall from top to bottom! This used to be the greatest mall to go to back in the 90's especially before they changed the layout of the mall, which btw I don't really like the layout of the mall, it's too confusing to find your way around and the hours are not good. Should be open late every night just like the Bower Mall! That really is a big drawback for me and other people I know have said the same. It's got an okay food court but the bathrooms could be better and easier to find. Seems to be thinning out but otherwise it does have some great stores and good selection if you can find them that is. ...I wish the middle eastern furniture store was back in there again. ???? and I wish that Wal mart was more easily accessible from the mall like before in the 90's. I really only go there becos of Walmart and some other stores in there like staples, Suzannes, and a few other stores plus it's close to where I live. ???? {Otherwise, I prefer the Bower Mall cos they have better hours and better parking and easy access entrances to the store you need to get to.} Parkland mall also needs seriously better security and janitorial staff.
We played settlers of Catan in the food court and the table was the perfect size for it!! Really relaxed atmosphere and so clean
A quiet mall, but I enjoy that it's not crowded and it has a couple of stores that I enjoy shopping at.
Clean vendors were polite helpful and noledgeable
Cute mall. Has many different stores. Recently renovated with new stores moving in
It's now Jan 2021. Covid has really taken its tole on the little shops. But i like parkland mall. I'm a senior and enjoy that it is quiet and i can socially distance very easily. My friend and i wear our masks and distance and walk the mall. Then we still grab a coffee somewhere before heading home. It's our tiny outing. I love that great clothing stores are still there, great shoe shops and still has Walmart to pick up groceries. I think supporting the rest of the shops right now is very important.
Very busy walmart. Mall has a range of shops
I like the Wal-Mart, Dollarama, Tim Horton, Subway and Chatters for Joico products. The A&W is disgusting. Lettuce is slime, onion rings smelled weird and tasted gross. Subway is OK.
Was a tad confusing first time through... Hudson bay to the right. Or straight. ?? Till we realized the bay had two mall entrances
This used to be a great place to shop. It now needs to be replaced. Empty stores...dirty, same restaurants forever. Some put down this lame horse.
Can't complain
Same thing great big mall and every one hiding behind the wall close down about 4 what a joke how do we got to everyone for doing nothing
What a hole. I cannot believe it's still standing. majority of it has closed up shop and it smells like old shoes. It's creepy parking lots appears to have hobos meandering around. Ugh.
The attendant was very helpful. I was in the area looking for a car wash and this company was the only closest where I was. I was very impressed the amazing customer service that I received.
Good mall but lots of empty store fronts still
Seems very empty don't know how stores are still in business when there is a Wal-Mart connected to this mall
This place is falling apart. Half the stores are closed. Is this the beginning of the end?
loved it would go back to shop there
Only been there a few times to Staples and once to the dry cleaning/ seamstress place.
The original mall to Red Deer. Atleast I think it is. Been there ever since I was a baby 35 years ago. Decent mall. It needs to do more like any mall these days to attract new buisness. It is clean and still has a good selection for shopping. And I love the Japanese food at the foodcourt. That dude has been there forever. I think he may be a an old Samurai warrior. You should ask him? ????
New to Alberta. Was a friendly place in the stores I was at. Greeted very well.
The Walmart is small and really run down. The mall doesn't have a good selection of stores.
The shops need to be updated. There are junkies just lying around the mall. It’s sketchy there. It used to be so nice.
Parkland mall needs more good stores like Bower. It's closer so I go.
Love this mall.
The mall is empty and void of businesses, I realize due to the pandemic but still sad and dull
I have to ask the people who hate this mall if they would rather go to the mall in Lacombe? Sure it's not as big and new as Bower Place, but it's pretty ok for the north end.
Parkland Mall is in serious need of an update, and while the addition of the GoodLife Fitness centre brings some much needed "newness", the mall itself will have to follow suit if it wants to survive.
Ok
A simple mall with the regulars in any other mall. Place is clean, staff polite but is nothing special with any unexpected stores
It's a pretty good little mall. It's got everything a person would need.
Nice quiet mall with a decent food court and small selection of stores. I am really not impressed with the sales people from Paragon though. I hate being bothered while I am trying to mind my own business and they are waving their cheap skin cream at me. I'm actually surprised they are allowed to do this to people. It certainly doesn't make me want to return.
I can take my time and aisles are nice and wide!
Empty Mall, no stores, Management really needs to rethink How too entice new stores back into the mall.. ????
A quiet mall with lots of sales and is always nice and clean
Always my favorite mall in Red Deer, because they stay diversified in the types of businesses they let in, unlike the Boring Mall to the south which has all the same look of clothing throughout.
Great little mall! Very convenient, it was queit. But had shops like stitches and Ardenes and a few shoe stores. Definitely will go back again!
No security for pedal bikes. Even with the camera by the Walmart, they can watch the person stealing your bike but that's about it. It's criminal that Parkland Mall care little about the constant crimes of bike thefts by the Walmart. The nicest bike that I've ever owned, and that was gifted to me was stolen from there. None of us should have to be so exposed to theft of our personal property.
We dont mind coming here for a slower pace. They dont have a whole lot going on in terms of shopping but it isnt the worst place to go.
Always liked this mall. Good combination of stores to stuff you need. Friendly
Over half of the stores are empty, the mall is a glorified parking lot for Walmart.
The store selection and general facilities in this mall are ok. But I do not come here regularly, when I do stop here it is usually because I am going to the Walmart.
Everything closed at 10am and only a third of the stores are actually vacant
Not a bad mall, a little dated. Not very busy. Not a big selection of stores.
Perky Peddler Market located within Parkland Mall. Many vendors, many uniquely beautiful wares.
I recall working here in the late 70's and early 80's when it was still Woolco. It's a bit different now
Nice mall, would be nice to see more business opening than closing
Very much enjoyed being there. Nice mall and exellent shopping. I really enjoyed the market wile I was there.
Needs more stores.
always clean ... all stores very neat and comfortable for shopping ... great prices
It's OK lots of people not much social distance
While visiting a friend in Red Deer, we thought it would be a good idea to kill some time at the mall. Got to the mall at 10 am only to discover nothing opens till 11 am!!! McDonald's was nice!!! Lol
The men selling the lotion by the Tim Horton's are aggressive
Good mall, Has about the same as Bower. Both are Great!
Awesome mall with cool stores for the short duration I was there. Went there right before closing looking for a creeper plushies on my way out of town for my daughter. After a few stores I found one and the staff at the game stop and anime merch store were very friendly.
I love Parkland mall. Im sad to see how this recession has (appr 15 yrs) affected the business in the malls and our city
There are some great little businesses in this place and the mall staff are hard working and congenial.
Parland mall is a good mall, clean, organized and appears well managed. unfortunately to many shops have left.. Needs a drug store, a a medical clinic.
Great small mall with awesome access, cool new stores like winners, great classics like Dollarama and Walmart, and more.
Convenient location... not many shopping options other than Wall Mart.
You know when a Good Life Fitness moves into a mall that mall is just one step above Flea market status. Tons of empty space and really the only thing keeping this mall open is the below average Walmart (anchor tenant.)
Mall ownership continues their ten year plan to drive north red deer into the slums. Every other storefront is closed.
Clean but not many stores open.
This mall has gone so far downhill, the only reason to go here was the sketches store
Everything you need under one roof. Loved the mall.
Needs a bigger food court but other than that it was awesome
It's ok. Nice place to shop in.
Old mall, eat at Eka! 5 star food at a 3 star mall!
Quiet mall with Walmart, food court, Timmy's, etc. I like it.
Good shopping mall, plenty of parking. Food court with decent selection of foods. It also has a star bucks.
Great atmosphere but store selection is lacking. No big names left at this location
food court is amazing, nice and quiet
Sorry but the Mall has lost its survival fight, rumours are that Walmart might leave, then that would be the end
Pretty barren place the last few years, many shops are closed and not a lot of customers, on the plus side, that means there aren't big crowds to contend with.
This useto be the good mall. It's filled with mostly junk stores now and empty stalls. Management really messed up. The need to drastically lower rent to attract bigger stores.
Friendly, smaller mall, different stores close to public transit & banks. Large outlet stores are also nearby
Need carts at all mall entrances
Parkland Mall Red Deer has a couple good options for stores and restaurants, but not nearly as many as Bower Mall. I mostly go to Parkland for Walmart. Bower Mall is definitely the better choice if you're in Red Deer.
getting to be more self checkout counter I don't like. Waited a good 20 minutes to go through checkout counter where there was a human. Heard they are going to be all self checkout counters by September. This store will not be for me. Disappointing
Oh wow couldnt believe how 4 more businesses have closed. Thats terrible. Ive been shopping Parkland mall since mid seventies. Ive seen all the chgs this mall has gone thru. Parkland mall has always been my favorite place to shop. Ive never seen the mall and all businesses in Alberta at such a low. I sure hope things chg for our businesses such as our malls and oil patch excetra
I go here for Walmart basically, the mall is not bad but just avoiding during Covid. There is a food court with alot of selection, alot of shops to choose from as well.
Walmart is a joke. This pandemic is a joke. The government we have is a joke
We went to their Halloween event...It was great.Grandson is 7 and there were activities and lots of treats. Thank You Parkland.Hope to be there next Halloween.Always enjoy shopping at this mall.
My favorite place to shop
This mall was my go to mall always until the last year. There are just to many sketchy people hanging around everywhere. People sleeping In the mall seats. Guys hanging around outside the entrances spitting and smoking, makes ya wonder what there are waiting for and is it safe.
Parkland Mall used to be a great place to shop but now people call it the "Ghetto Mall". When Sears left it started going downhill. Now Safeway left and a lot of the stores are following suit. There is still a Wal-Mart which is keeping it afloat. Not many of the stores are brand name anymore. It seems like a slowly dying mall hanging on by it's threads.
Quieter than Bower. I prefer Parkland over Bower myself.
This mall is slowly getting better. For years after sears and sportchek left the mall, there wasn’t very much to do here. Their selections of stores and vendors has gotten much better, especially around Christmas time!
Retailers are great. Not as busy as other malls so easier to get your shopping done quickly. Still good selection of outlets.
There are a lot of empty stores at the moment, though it looks like they will be filling them quite soon. The stores I visited were not busy, and the service was alright
Parking always seems like a challenge. Floors are always slippery! I have slipped more than once.. the tile flooring is not the best. Not a great selection of stores. Hope this will change with Winners opening up. Would be nice if there was more than 1 public bathroom.
Love the mall but it needs more vendors. There is a lot of empty spots!
Good location in Red deer
Very small down to earth mall, I like the perky market a lot
Like it better than bower mall it has a wider assortment of stores
Great place to go if you want to see what a dying mall is all about! Otherwise I would not bother making the trek.
Telus poor service !
Parkland Mall has a Wallmart ,good food court, Dollar store , Western store, Smoke shop and much more
Good place to shop, with Wal-Mart, staples, gyms and all the little stores. It makes it so I can do 1 stop shoping
Used to be my favorite but they are getting dated and need something beyond Walmart as a big draw to the mall.
Why is this mall even open??? Great example of the slow painful death of the shopping mall concept that long ago had its 15 mins of fame.
This mall has a bunch of closed stores south of the food court. I like to call it ghost mall. Better start adding new stores if you want people to shop at your mall.
The amount of store that are vacant makes this place slightly depressing to walk through
Got everything I wanted
Nothing open. Stores shut down because of NOVID. Time to close the entire operation down. Nobody cares about small businesses in Alberta!
Slipping setvices and lack luster tshirt shops make for an ok trip to the mall
Weak mall. Wal-Mart seems to be one of the only things keeping it alive. That and the Dollarama.
Even tho some of the stores are closed right now due to the pandemic, but they still have some really cool stores in there and I didn't know they had an arcade where you can actually play them so coool
Horrible for mall staff and security. And product diversity is very basic and or bad quality.
Decent mall, parking is not the best and the food court could have better options
This is usually our go to place for Christmas shopping. We were very surprised how many empty spaces there was, plus a few closing out stores.
Great mall it's been here what 50 years still reinvents itself and it's a worthwhile place to be or go
easy access inexpensive goods ..lots to offer
Some empty stores, the mall is kept tidy and washrooms are decent.
It's so so not bad
It's ok some good stores but like 30 percent empty kinda makes me sad to see that
Didnt stay long as many people were walking around with no mask on and security did nothing. The barbershop there had mass amont of people in it people getting haircut with no masks, no social distancing huge line ups there and mass people around tim hortons. Some of us want a safe place to go and it is sad to see so many places breaking rules
It's great for the 80+ crowd. There are plenty of clothing stores for you to buy clothes at for your grandkids. But make sure that you keep the receipt so they can return them for drug money.
Great mall
Everything is outdated and closed down. This mall use to be the BEST mall in Red Deer, the slogan is " come for the shopping, stay for the fun" What shopping? What fun? Wish o could Rate this place a 0 with bad management.
I love this mall. Food court has some of the best food court Asian foods. It is sad to see over 24 closed stores and/or vacant retail spaces. i hope things get better soon and more people support local retailers.
Quiet mall, covid friendly.
There are no places to shop anymore......almost everything is closed.
The would be good mall if they didn't have that comic book store,The guy who runs it is soooooooo creepy.
Delightful be good to be around people again feels great love seeing the children with their .oms Dads
Its a mall. Id rather go to Bower Place Shopping Center though. More stuff. Parkland Mall is still pretty cool. Go check it out!
Seems like a decent mall but definitely a ghost town walking through there today. The amount of payroll wasted by store employees waiting for a customer is kind of depressing. Definitely some unique stores in this mall so kind of sad to see it so empty with no foot traffic. Guess a sign of the times with online shopping now a days. Good mall though.
Used to be such a great place - so many stores closed now, I miss the Safeway especially.
Clean bathrooms well stocked mall. The Japanese vender in the food court seems to be under staffed but the food was good and the bubble tea was lovely????
Great shopping, but there was a lot of empty stores.
Excellent location . But not many shops. Great for a quiet indoor shopping excursion
I tried some of the food there and tried to buy at as many stores as possible love the service and friends and atmosphere Regards Cory Foged
Having to wear a mask to buy a new phone is ridiculous. No one is even educated about how useless a cloth or paper mask really is for airborne viruses. Its like using a badminton net to keep out mosquitos.
Nice small mall
They have all my favorite fast food n shopping store's. I really like the mall.????????????
The stores at the mall is always evolving changing all the time and it seems to be getting better all the time Curtis Moore unique boutiques and a lot of personalized stores there now plus the bare necessities as well
I did not enter. But my son came out with arm fulls of toys for his 3 sons.
There are quite a few empty stores in this mall. Walking traffic seems to be fairly quiet.
Great learning experience with Reeven. He took all the time we needed and answered all our questions. Thank you Reeven!
Its almost empty! I walked 3 kilos past gates and the occasional open bisness just to not find the stores i thought would be there. WiFi not! Unless you know something I did not. Many of the old tenants seem to be in stand alone buildings witch are cheaper than the lease rate at the mall. There must be a better way to run a mall I have no awnsers but with that kind of investment maybe sell to walmart????????????
Parkland mall was an icon of my youth. Lots of room for improvement. The new gym will help. Quiet mall if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big malls. Great food court for lunch breaks.
As far back as I can remember, during the great 90s to the 2000's era. This mall once had everything that everybody wish to shop for anything neat, usable, entertaining, and of course the books you desire. But now a days each time I go back in there, some of the stores I use to know either moved out or just went out of business because folks were not interested at all. With any luck of the new space that was once Safeway grocery store will bring in some new stores to bring back folks to shop and have some fun. The only thing positive is the Walmart and EBgames for those who seek to find anything cool and have fun. So I pray there plan goes threw cause this place was once cool back in the days. I just hate to see it go away and be forgotten
Parking around walmart is terrible. You need to park nearly at the other end of the mall so you dont get hit by another car
It's parkland mall nothing great nothing bad.
Nice, clean well run mall. Has most everything you need.
Not happy with it I am disabled ànd usually borrow a scooter so I phoned to get one bought to me as I always have done and can't get anyone to answer the phone and no one anlswers so I hobble in to find out there is no one at customer service and no scooters so I guess I won't be shopping at parkland mall anymore as well as anyone I know won't either
Only a few good stores here. Food court is okay. Nice that the goodlife gym is attached to the mall!
We went to their Halloween event...It was great.Grandson is 7 and there were activities and lots of treats. Thank You Parkland.Hope to be there next Halloween.Always enjoy shopping at this mall.
I like how the mall is getting bigger and better. With more shopping options , and parking . Can't wait maybe one day there will be a good retaraunt in there ?
The mall is always empty so I wonder how long it will last, it's a nice place.
Not too busy, went to Walmart actually
Very outdated. Not stores I'm interested in. Needs Reno.
This mall has been around for many years and they try to keep the best selection of stores for the
This mall is turning into a ghost town half the stores are empty and the other half aren't great. Bower mall is a way better option.
Good mall, but I was banned for a month for "trying to break into a store" when I was walking around in the mall and just looking towards the stores that were closed. I also had my bikes tires slashed when I locked it up to go into the mall.
Seen it, done that. Parkland mall is one of the "first Red Deer malls" according to my mom and I really like the place. They even improved the entry of Life fitness.
The templar knights that surrounded it
Bring a mask went to get cheap work boots
It's got a wall-Mart with a McDonald's, lots of choices in the food court,an a&w, New York fries, sub way, Angus, taco Bell and rice n pork place, few different shops, Cole's book store, eb games, a source few different phone kiosks, a design your own shirt store and four different clothes store and finally a barber shop
Not a lot of stores
It's a decent mall. Not as overcrowded with clothing stores as other places.
A mediocre, dying mall full of empty closed down stores. But it has an Arby's and eb games, both things that Bower lacks. Edit: had to take a star off because Arby's closed along with half of the stores in the mall.
Can't believe this mall is still operating. There is not much in this mall. A waste of time
Would love to see big names come to this mall, a kids playplace, movie theater or something family oriented
I was helped by an awesome chick, Amanda_great customer service and really helped, she should get a promotion lol
Not worth the trip - there are no stores worth going into. It's also not the cleanest mall I've ever been in.
Clean atmosphere
Variety of shops to shop at. I also found out that somethings sold at Walmart in this location is cheaper compared to the Walmart in the south area
Sad but this mall seems to be slowly dieing. Businesses seem to be moving out faster than new ones are replacing them.
Food was good, but sad to see how dead it is. I feel for the shop owners????
Worked out at Fit 4 Less. Great place, awesome prices. I still wish they had a water bottle fill up, other then the bathroom.
It was MUCH better in the 90s! Believe it or not, about 20 years ago, THIS was the better mall in Red Deer... certainly not the case anymore, sadly. Last time I was here, at least half the shops were gone. They do have a few cool individual shops, but it's boring and depressing walking around a half dead mall. One thing that really annoyed me was they had a sign up for Orange Julius, and I got a craving when I saw it. Only to discover the Orange Julius location here was no more! It is a clean mall with a nice layout. Hopefully they can get more unique shops.
Clean vendors were polite helpful and noledgeable
This mall isn't what it once was. Need more stores in this mall.
So sad to see a mall that I grew up going to slowly shutting doors between Walmart and the winners entrance I counted 13 stores that were closed that's a lot something has to be done to revitalize that mall
Mall was pretty busy today. Got a nice haircut at Adam&Eve. Great value for a great trim!
Dirty, old, dreary and the management are extremely rude and obviously uneducated. Avoid this disgusting mall. Tweakers and thieves everywhere and security and management don't care.
Not alot variety of stores here. It has great potential, but there are alot of vacant shops
Poor selection of stores. Big box stores are everywhere and will not attract me to an empty mall. This place used to have trendy stores, packed food courts, live entertainment and unique kiosks. Now it is a desert at times with nothing but real estate, stores that are left are the same old same old..
I liked it coz it's quiet and no need to line up in the food court etc
I had lunch at the Sizzling Wok on April 1 (no joke), and I have been sick for the last two days. Not a recommendation for eating at the Food Court. A bad way to end a holiday.
Just like Bower selection is lacking and the mall itself has a very budget look and feel to it. The new winners store should add a little more traffic and appeal hopefully. Great parking all around and there is access to Goodlife Fitness from within which is great.
My favorite mall and absolutely love the food court
If looking for a screen protector or case avoid telze at all cost (Located next to food court.) Offered a warranty on product and when i brought back within a couple weeks with defective product i was denied and told I'd have to repurchase. Wasnt helpful at all. Customer service was horrendous. Id use saran wrap for a screen protector then go back and speak to them.
Because it has some good stories but need better selection of clothing stores bootlegger winner's good but want a lot more than that want a big selection of skate shoes and things like that with more price range so you can buy 50$ decent pair or be a baller and spend 500$ lol
Most of business are closed bur its clean best Japanese food in town
Mall is pretty quiet now a days. Needs more stores that aren't "speciality" that would offer more variety along with more reasonable prices. Overall, pretty standard but has lots of room to grow up from here.
Great place to get bike repairs done from a small business
It just doesn't have that, "I want to come here again " feel to it. It does have a Staples and Walmart.
Has Walmart ez-games all the cell phone carriers 2 gyms and variety of clothing and she stores
This place seems to be losing one decent store every six months. If not for Walmart and GoodLife I don't know why people would come here
I don't know why this mall is even open anymore, when the majority of shops are closed down or going out of business, just tear it down already & build the seniors apartment complex........
Dying mall.... im sure there's more vacancy than there is actual stores
How can you not love parkland mall ! It's just sad that it's changed so much from when I use to hangout. They had the pet store there they had all sorts of good stores to go into and be around and then they had the food center in the center of the mall I want back to the old way that was the best. You need a pet store and stuff in there again. Back to a nice warm place to go to again! Bot a dead and cold atmosphere of nothingness unfortunately. A lot of the businesses I liked her gone and moved out of there it's more empty than there is anybody in it and the prices are just ridiculous. Unfortunately I have a feeling that Parkland Mall isn't going to make it very much longer. If they don't start listening to the shoppers. Bring back the old style when it was busy have it where you have groups coming into the food court to play making it cozy. I give you a thousand ideas to get that place looking good and not pay a whole bunch of money to do it either. If you want any advice get ahold of me... and anybody reading this and feels the same way get it out there let them know how you feel.
Loved it here, my kind of prices at a mall, definitely recommend to anyone. Good choice of food.
It's a bit deserted atm needs new stores to attract more customers.
Definitely friendly people but lacks stores any good stores. I basically just go to Tim Hortons and Wal-Mart. Even going to Wal-Mart here is sometimes questionable due to all the homeless just hanging around by the entrance that connects into the mall.
Very empty for a mall need to get people back in
MK, my dental hygienist was an absolute blast. She was very gentle and so friendly! She even got me squeezed in to see my dentist as I was only booked for a cleaning. She got dr. Rachelle to see me to fix a filling that had been bothering me. Definitely recommend Mary-Ann and parkland dental red deer!
First thoughts: Honestly, it feels like a cemetery of dead souls everytime I have to visit. With multiple closed and vacant spots (Winners and Ardene are moving into the new spot which is one positive), food court staff that looks uninterested and often stand there waiting for customers in an often empty food court (except for the Japanese place, which seems to be the most popular option), and only a few staple locations to shop at currently (Wal-Mart, Staples, Dollarama, Goodlife Fitness), I would choose Bower Mall 9.5 times out of 10. Store Variety: 3/10 Your standard assortment of clothing stores, cell phone places, a dollar store, Wal-Mart, and Staples. Low score is due to the multiple closed and vacant stores you will find. At this point, it is almost 60/40 closed to open store ratio. Services: 7/10 They have a GoodLife Centre for your fitness needs, a Customer Services kiosk, dentist, and optometrist. Atmosphere: 2/10 It's dreadful. Grey pastel with uninspired decor throughout the mall. The food court is dull, with only a fireplace that sits in one corner. Parking: 4/10 Although they have parking throughout the outside, it will be challenging to find a good place to park (typically near Wal-Mart). Expect to park in a non-favorable spot that requires you going to an entrance that is far from where you actually have to go. Events: 5/10 I mean they do host events here, but I'm often not informed about them beforehand to even take advantage of them. Besides from maybe the one or two small signs inside the mall. Mood I feel here on average: Uninterested, like when you have a person that thinks they're telling an awesome story about a jackal and a tree, and you're just sitting there just waiting for the story to end. Summary Once Ardenes and Winners join up in the spring, this place will be somewhat more tolerable. In its current state however, there are better ways to do your shopping and have fun than go to Parkland Mall.
Nice shopping centre
The only reason I go there is for Walmart. It’s almost dead !
Meh! I mean, the mall is trying, but its still missing the mark.
