This Mall corresponds to the category of Shopping mall.
Nice mall. Really clean and always a great time Food court is dope.
Love this place, can get super busy and everyone who works here is always super helpful and nice!
The better mall in town comparatively. Got most of what you need. Could do with more stores perhaps.
Even in a down economy the mall seemed as busy as it was when everything was booming. There are multiple stores in the mall which i enjoy going to, and if one store doesn't have the item that at want at I price I like, I am usually able to find it or something similar at one of the other stores. Very enjoyable shopping experience every time I go to Bower Mall.
Great place, awesome food court with central fireplace, could use a few more shops though.
Lots of stores and decent prices. The food court is good too. Only thing is, there's no book store or bank. Only ATM's that charge to use
Good clean mall, a lot of stores for food and shopping inside
The variety of stores is plentiful, the food court is well kept, and there is plenty of parking.
This mall has everything you need. Cinzeo is my fav but lululemon is close second
Red Deers best mall. Always Clean, great variety of shopping goods from sports nutrition to business shirts and pants. food courts offers more then your typical indoor outlet mall.
Great mall and great selection of stores to choose from as well. Foodcourt has great options as well for everyone and eveeykind of meal from snack to supper
American eagle employee was very polite and respectful, the store had good taste in music
We called in advance, to confirm that they had mobility scooters. Spoke to Meghan and she mentioned that 2 Government issued ID or credit cards are needed to borrow the scooters. Be aware that they will keep your ID until you return the scooter. Also the mall was really clean even tho it was suppertime. They currently are in the midst of renovation/demolition/construction phase at the north entrance. The south entrance is were the food court is and there is plenty of handicapped parking. This is also were guest services are located for any rentals. All in all it was a good day. Comfy scooter sure helped the day. Mostly the fact they had a bariatric sized one too! Good food was the cherry on top. Do visit!
Nice and cosy mall with a decent selection of stores. There is a small food court where you can choose from Asian food to New York Fries and the sort. The boxing week sales going on aren’t bad, try to go earlier in the day to avoid having to line up to go into the shops. Most shops have a capacity limit due to covid precautions.
Way better than the ghost town that is Parkland Mall. For best parking go by The Bay or the old Target end.
There’s only 2 malls in red deer and this is the bigger one. More stores and more stores coming. If you ever go to red deer, this is better than parkland mall lol
Dont go there much anymore since Sears is gone. Hudson's Bay is a great store for clothing but it comes at a price but quality is good. Parking is also good but it's a long walk in if you cant find a spot close. Thete are other really good stores there as well. I recommend going there.
It's by far the better of the two malls in town. May not be amazing but it's a decent mall for the size of the city.
A little limited on selection now that a couple big departments have gone bust, but overall a good shopping experience
The security here is some of the rudest ever.
Very nice clean mall and had what I was looking for
Hands down the best mall in red deer. Great food court and good shops. Wish that anchors lasted longer but that's a pretty small issue.
Very rude security staff, will berate you if you even think about riding your board NEAR the mall. Steer clear if your not 30+ or you'll get people staring at you
Great up grades, many different store to shop at and places to eat. Lots of parking available. Great mall!
I just don't understand why the shopper's drugmart staff referred me to the back of Toys R Us when I asked for the nearest bathroom. How misleading
Clean and will organized. Good selection of stores and foods. Still not really getting the "cowboy" theme
The mall does mot have alot of modern fashion clothing. Have to go to Calgary or Edmonton. This mall should bring in more clothing stores.
Good place to shop different stores around
Very easy to steal from ardines. I recommend it ????
The stores we needed were excellent; great service. Mall was not busy this morning.
Clean spacious ,not too crowded even a week before Christmas
Great shopping, great food, and super cool art around the whole place
We do enjoy this mall, but the parking lot ( not just for the Christmas season) is a nightmare. The isles are so small it’s hard to navigate and back out properly. There is also only one set of public washrooms that are in the long odd hallway by the food court. This needs updating for sure!
nice and clean mall
Very aesthetically appealing, clean and amazing looking inside and out. Has a large number of great businesses, as well as a great customer help desk. There are also several direction displays at the entrances, so you can figure out where to go, instead of wandering around.
Well rounded mall, lots to offer, well kept and generally clean. Good selection of stores.
It's a good mall. Pretty much all I need in one place.
Not the greatest place to shop. Stores are kind of blah and not much selection within the mall. Maybe the construction is bringing more stores with better variety in this mall. Otherwise for younger people I would say go to Parkland mall.
Well maintained environment, the food court has some delicious selections. Such as; Chachi's Korean BBQ The eyebrow threading kiosk treated me well and made my appointment enjoyable.
I've been going to this stores for years and I love it! Great staff, nice stores, the cafeteria is awesome!! I would say you should maybe renovate it one day because I bet people would get bored of the same old stores.
Been goin here since I was 2, great options there and I just bought my phone a new replacement battery from the Mobile clinic for my phone and works fantastic!
Prettier and cleaner than parkland Mall and many more stores.
Very large selection here. The deli serves some very good sandwiches
Great mall. Lots of shops, nice food court. Couldn't ask for more.
Nice stuff and stores but it is always busy
It was a nice place to walk around it had good seating and its very easy to find your way in the mall.
A vast variety of stores including clothing, food, department, shoes, body care, toys, and knives, to name a few. The murals and statues are also pretty cool.
Red Deers only real mall
Nice mall. Good shopping options. Clean. Good vibe. Get your hair cut at Tommy Guns
The better of the two malls in Red Deer, Alberta. They just need to get that one empty store filled with a good retail client.
Good place to hang out in the winter when you don't wanna be outside but not much to do. Good selection of stores and shops. Parking is kinda a nightmare if you don't select which lot you park in carefully though.
Best shopping mall in red deer! Don't waste your time on parkland mall. Lots of popular stores and great food court.
One of the best and favorite malls I've been to!
Excellent mall and a great selection of stores. You'll have no problems spending your money here!
This is the only mall to come to in Red Deer lots of parking tons of stores very clean and you can always find what you're looking for unlike the other mall and Red Deer there are no stores that are closed or empty. The food court has got some really good quality food for a food court that is and all the staff seem to be happy and willing to help you out unlike another Mall AKA Parkland Mall
Great shopping place, with a lot of shops, you can do everything with one stop.
About 75 percent of stores are empty. I have no idea why this mall is closed.
Awesome place to shop and dine, with great customer service and great experience ????
They have expanded. Marshall's is smaller, than I expected. The new section is bright and fresh-looking. I would love to see a kids zone there one day! I hope, management will figure something out.
A variety of shops in a clean and easily accessible location
Not enough room or stores. When you do want a certain store their selection is so limited, that it seems better to drive somewhere else (Edmonton or Calgary). Parking can be VERY cramped on the South side of the mall. This rating is for the mall not each store. It's not their fault that room is limited.
I like all the upgrades they’ve been doing to the mall. It would be helpful if they gave all entrances automatic doors to reduce the number of things a shopper has to touch. Or at least put sanitizer by the doors.
Very good mall on the inside. Their food court is a bit small for seating but there is a large selection of restaurants. The parking is very poor, especially if you have a disability parking permit. There are WAY to few parking spots for them, and indeed for everyone. At this time of year we think of Santa at the mall. They have hired several very good men, at least the two I have seen up close have a VERY "authentic" look for an imaginary figure. With genuine white beards and they are good with the kids. They have a good selection of stores but not much in the way of sporting goods type stores.
Its a decent enough mall. But there really isn't to many different stores. They sell more or less the same things. Just different store names.
Did a event there last month as Mrs Clause. I was treated very well by the staff. Wonderful place !! Thanks for having me maybe i can come back next year for youre xmas events!
It's the best mall in Red Deer. They have a Lululemon which is surprising for the size of the city. They have mostly everything you need here. Sushi, crepes, smoothies, good coffee...
I have always liked this mall, and it seems no matter what retail establishment you visit you get a friendly experience. The parking is a nightmare I usually just hop the curbs in my truck anyways. Other than that it’s a great place red deer see you in June
I love Bower Mall and it is a great place where to buy clothes fake nails hats shoes all of that great stuff but the food in the food court is the best there's different fast food places there's a crate place and the people at customer service or very nice so I have to say they have pretty good staff I have to say it's a great place and I'm definitely going there again and again as long as they're open I will have fun shopping there it's so good and it feels so nice to be there and get out of the house but the bonuses great food great items Great Mall!
The mall could use a sit down restaurant that serves drinks. It also needs interactive play areas for children, though out the mall
Always loved going there as a kid I hope they add a second floor full of brand new stores. We need a Hot Topic!
Love walking around here. Great decorations and atmosphere.
Typical N.American mall with the usual brand stores. Parking is not the best in terms of design (terrible in the winter time) and there is usually some kind of construction going on here. Children's play area is also tiny compared to other malls. They could certainly improve in this area.
Stopped here for a healthy and quick lunch
Nice mall, clean an good selection. Love that it has a very nice family room /nursing room.
Disappointed with the food court because you can no longer eat without a QR code even though the government mandates state that food courts are open to ALL public. Security hovers around the fenced off tables, so it definitely feels uncomfortable even just walking by.
Nice shopping centre. Clean and good selection of shops and services. Loses one star for no video game store. As well, there is a cowboy theme which I find somewhat creepy and waspy. But it maybe triggering for me
Its nice that theyre open until 9 and have lots of stores but thats all. I do not recommend shopping here atall otherwise. We are a respected good income family from Sask and we were followed throughout the mall as if we were theives our whole time there. I was questioned about my shopping in the Swimco store- definitely do not recommend that store they made me feel like I was a theif and not welcome atall. They must have a high theft/ crime rate in this mall. My daughter also saw a junkie throw a needle under a table in the food court , thankfully there was a cleaning lady nearby to clean it right away.
Good variety of stores. Parking isnt bad either which I enjoy. Not a fan of walking a mile to shop.
good variety of shops & services
I was very disappointed that after I had bought food from the food court and went to go sit down and couldn't because I didn't have my covid papers so therefore told me and my gf that if we wanted to eat the food we bought we had to eat outside. It's winter time and very cold but still made us go outside and eat very disappointed
Nice to see most of the stores are open once again and respecting social distancing.
Love this mall. It's not too big or too small. It's convenient for me with a baby. It has most of the major stores that you find in bigger malls although the collection I find is often not as good. Because the mall isn't as busy, line ups are short and customer service is excellent. The food court has a good selection and the bubble tea is a great addition to the food court. Washrooms used to be clean although I haven't been in a while due to renovation work being done in there. Big plus is the family space that can be used for nursing. Overall, good!
This really is the only decent mall in red deer. It has a good variety of trendy stores and Marshalls just opened as well. Shoppers expanded but is in an inconvenient location compared to where it used to be. In my opinion. I think, from a stores perspective, it's a high rental location. There are always shops going in and out of business but overall it's pretty consistent. Good variety for food court. The layout is pretty easy to navigate. They always decorate in a western theme and do well for Christmas Easter etc for decorating and providing the Easter Bunny and santa
Great shopping experience lots of stores to choose from Spike the renovations it is quite a nice small
I loved my shopping experience! Great parking, with easy to find restrooms, with a great sized food court. Every store that I enjoy shopping at is here, and more.
Ben Moss very friendly & helpful . The food at the mall was alright .
Very nice Mall. Great shops, great food court, friendly people awesome decor. I'll definitely be coming back. I've got to say I love that the food court had a little kids zone for them to Wine Down.
Out of the 2 malls red deer offers, bower place is a much nicer mall and much better stores. (Still not much for stores) over all cleaner atmosphere and friendlier service
The best mall in Red Deer, however with sears closing and another large department store last year closing and the bad economy it could start to go downhill, I hope not though
It a mall... not sure what more you want? Kids love the decorations and effort that Bower Place always puts in to be a family destination for shopping.
New York vegetable fries super good
Lots of selection and had some very friendly staff help me out at the various stores!
Nicely laid out. Good control of the food court allowing only vac people in.
Great selection of stores and places to eat, the new addition looks great, still odd how poor cell reception is in most of the mall
It is a nice mall but a lot of construction going on around here.
Always changing and improving Shopper selections. Enjoyed a great personal pizza Losing stores, Sears closed. Could not locate TV STORE location. Great food court. Always clean. Washrooms were clean
This mall has a variety of shops to choose from and lots of food places to eat at and most of the shops have very good prices.
Good food court and selection of stores. They always update the seating and recently added charging units at the seating. Great location and layout.
Is a nice small mall with lots of different places to go. It's biggest flaw is how busy it is compared to how much space there is.
Went to the Manchu Wok for lunch. Was very, very disappointed with meal. Besides being barely warm I was very aware (after a year plus of being cooped up) the plates were a good bit smaller and a large jump in prices...Not sure if this has happened in all the malls.????
It's a solid three star campground that serves weekend and year round campers alike. It is in Aspen park land not mountains.
This mall is way better and cleaner then the north end mall. Way more options as well and better stores
Fashion center of Red Deer. Lot of stores. Biker wear store. Nice leather products. Food court expensive. Lots of free parking!
Definitely you will love it ice you inter on, amazing decoration and nice mall design
Pretty standard mall. Wish there was more selection for clothing and eating.
Good selection of stores. Love the layout and easy to find what store you want. Great security and lovely atmosphere.
Great mall, clean washrooms, clean building, great food court choices, love that now they have a Starbucks....feels like everything I need is in this mall.
Its nice to still have some small business to brows threw.
Bower is a great mall, very clean with alot of different store's. The place that keeps bringing me back is Chachi's in the food court, if you have never been there it is a must try for sure!!!
For being in a medium sized city this mall actually has fantastic selection. Lot's of great clothing stores and even the food has nice selection.
Super great place to shop at....many stores and the food court is very big..good for teens and I would recommend parkland mall for adults
Bower Place shopping centre is always clean & sanitized. Awesome shops in this mall & the food court houses some of the very best eats in all of Red Deer! There is Chachi's, Edo Japan, Opa, Dairy Queen, Thai Express etc! I like Bower Mall much better than Parkland Mall. There are better stores in Bower and the renovations that were done in recent years look awesome.
This Mall is in Red Deer. The location is good and there is free parking space. The Mall is big with various branded shops. The food court is big with a variety of food to choose from. I loved the wall hanging and decorations which is totally unique. There were various horses , horsemen, carriages, trains ets. The theme for this was interesting. It shows the creativity of the artist involved. This place was well maintained and clean. A very pleasant place to visit individually, with family or friends. I would surely recommend this place.
Pretty good, lacking in some stores but clean and we'll laid out.
This is a pretty good mall with a nice election of stores and it seems to have undergone a recent renovation.. however the outside of The Bay still looks like a prison - there should have been an exterior beatification as well in my opinion. Some of the stores inside seem a bit out dated and I wonder how some are still in business.. but overall I was actually pleasantly surprised. The food court is a highlight with very nice finishing and a really good selection of food. The mall could use an orientation map at each entrance (those large digital kiosks) I think to help improve the first impression and general orientation.
Who actually writes reviews for malls? For real? Do you base your weekend plans off of what random strangers say about their own stupid spending and shopping habits? That's like going to a Ford dealership to ask them about the new dodge trucks? Everyone goes to a mall for different reasons. Go have an adventure and figure stuff out yourself. 5 stars cause I met my wife here
getting better and better.still need more food stalls in food court.limited option when compared with nonof stores.shoppers drug mart parking lot always busy.need more space.
Great shopping selection but still missing some big brand names like Footlocker, Adidas, etc.
Very busy place for shopping ????????????
Better than the other mall in town
I actually like this mall. Not too busy. Has everything I need. If you need Mac , it’s in the bay!
Nice mall for a city like red deer. Interior is clean and somewhat modern. Food court is nice and open but somewhat limited tables especially during covid. My only wish is to have a nice restaurant and theater for this mall.
TERRIBLE experience in Bower Mall. Santa sitting behind a glass shield in a mask and you are not allowed to take photos of him without vaccination. But everyone is allowed to shop and return things without asking for vaccinations.
Great mall, everystore that I was looking for was open, and the food court was clean and had lots of variety. A little something for anyone.
Better of the two malls in Red Deer. Good shopping selection and the food court has better options overall.
Always busy so parking is tricky and some rows are too small but shopping is good
A fun place if you want to kill time. I enjoy walking around, the food court has a variety of restaurants. Something for everyone.
Bower Place is a pretty big shopping mall with many main stream shops and a good size food court.
Nice big mall, has all you need and more!
Definitely the better mall in Red Deer. Almost all the stores are full, there is a great food court and enough to keep you busy for an afternoon of browsing. Good anchor stores as well.
Only good mall left in red deer. Lots of stores. Great food court.
Great stores, food court
The Bower Place Shopping Mall is a great place to not only shop, but also offers a variety of fast food vendors, mixed with a selection of healthy food vendors. I strongly recommended that you visit the Bower Place Shopping mall Red Deer Alberta.
Slow service, the staff cut you off when you're explaining what you need and then give you wrong information. And apparently staff are "always calling in sick". Waited in line for 47minutes just to upgrade my phone and rather than help the line of customers, the staff go out for a smoke brake instead of aiding everyone including her other staff and the customers in line.
Lots of new pop up shops for christmas! Wonderful to see so many stores with friendly faces while still being covid cautious!!
Great shopping, lots of stores
Nice mall, not too big but easy to get turned around in.
Got phones switched to bell here and they were super helpful and quick serviced, talked on a level anyone could understand and personalized with us and were nice.
It's a joke. The restaurants are open but not the seating area which forces people to squeeze together to get out. The person with this stupid idea should be fired . Either open the seating area or close the restaurants .
This is a mall. It has stores. And a food court. And kiosks (avoid eye contact at all costs). It is the best one in town. Good thing you read this review. Your welcome. :)
I have spent more hours in Bower Mall than I would like to admit, but all the stores are great and it is well maintained. They are always getting something new in. It is sad to see the large locations so empty though.
It's my favorite mall is Red Deer. Lots of stores and a great food court.
Pretty good mall, good selection of stores, great food court. Parking is a little less in the southwest side
Many amenities and new shops. Food court, Bathrooms, charging stations for cell phones and electric cars (outside of course). Lots of parking available.
Enjoyed the deals I got walking in the mall the number of different stores
It’s expanding and getting more modern which I like but I feel like everything is too expensive even on sales. Plus they changed the time they’re open on Saturday’s (until 6pm only) which is sad because most people are off on weekends.
The mall itself is lovely, awesome food court and great stores. However , a lot of the staff in the stores have this "I'm better than you" attitude. Rather busy most of that time as well, you have to get there right when it opens or almost closing time to avoid a rush.
Every time I come to Red Deer I always take a look through Bower Place. So many stores to look in and there's always a sale for you to look through. The food court is amazing with so many delicious restaurants to choose from, sometimes I have to go to two places. I recommend Bower Place to anyone who's looking for an assortment of everything whether it be food clothes shoes or toys.
Good variety of stores, good atmosphere, clean, and a huge step better than the other mall in town.
Always clean and usually bustling with people. Lots of good stores to look at and sales all the time.
Lots of great shops and variety always adding new places to shop. Family friendly with lots of stores for the whole family.
This is an excellent mall to go to. There are lots of stores to go to. The food court is excellent with a good variety. The decor inside is absolutely beautiful. It is worth it to go there and just look up at the masterful sculptures and wild west theme throughout the mall
This mall is getting to be empty. First Zellers closes, then Target and now Sears. If the Hudons Bay closes or leaves there will be no more reason for this mall.
Always stop to see the sculpture art hanging on the ceiling and for the food court.
So much to see! Giod variety of stores, very giod staff, kind ppl! I loved it!
Decent mall with lots of variety. But the crowds! Get there early because it's fairly busy through out the day. Get there right when they open or near closing to avoid all the people. Parking can be busy too and more difficult if you have a large truck as the spots are narrow and the lanes are even worse.
Great place to shop n get things done
Nice place to shop friendly salespeople foodcourt staff and security. Also a very clean mall overall. Overall we prefer shopping at Bower.
BOWER PLACE Shopping Centre. Has gone through some design makeovers and construction improvements upgrades ever yet! Since l knew Bower Place back then in the nineties I Could describe the difference in how it looks now presently. Glassy-looking corporate-looking style Shopping Centre. Now with some cool interior design, some touch of Canada's cultural heritage is incorporated all along with the design. The risen numbers of newly open clothing, and beauty name brand retail stores. Mall also improves the design of its entryways for accessible friendly to all. And as for me, the word is... Guessing the Mall is still the reigning choice iconic casual meeting place for most of us. ????
I haven't been to bower mall for a long time and I noticed some new stores in the mall the place is clean and it's very nice atmosphere I really enjoyed my shopping experience.
Great mall! Tons of awesome stores & great selection in the food court.
Really great shopping centre for every need.
Bower Place is a nice little mall with enough variety to appeal to many people. There is a food court and public washrooms onsite, as well as plenty of benches for sitting. Parking is free, all entrances appear to be wheelchair accessible, and is very clean (at least whenever I visit). I like to stroll through this mall during lunch breaks when I visit Red Deer, as it is also not a loud mall.
Love the various stores and find people friendly and helpful
It's a mall. Most stores are pretty decent.
Love this mall. I used to go here everyday just to have fun. Definitely would recommend.
Love Sunterra Market ????
Best mall in the city... clean and spacious
Easily the better mall in red deer right now, they seem to have everything. But the place seems a little bit dated. The food court however is one of the best places to go!
We like to go to the mall with the little ones and just walk around, check out sales and people watch. My oldest loves seeing the decorations for every occasion! Great selection of retailers and eateries in the food court. The new expansion wing looks great!
It's a mall...I'm sure things changed since the 13 yrs I worked in this mall. If you need something and live in red deer, this was definitely the better mall back then...
Only good mall in the city.
Nice place. Love it.
We went to toys r us in the mall. We were looking for a birthday gift for our son to be 3yr old grandson. Gotta say for being right after Christmas and inventory I was very impressed!! They were so well stocked it took us awhile to finally choose something. And that was a good thing. Now we can hardly wait for his birthday party day, he'll be so excited????????????????♂️????♂️????????
Good selection of stores, always seem to be mixing it up. Food court is great only finding seats can be difficult at times. Also very clean.
It was a pleasant afternoon walking through the mall buying birthday gifts. A nice selection of shops to check out.
Nice mall, lots of good fast food places to eat at.
Great variety of stores and services, as well as a cosy food court for drinks or a snack
The store Sunrise Records is the place to go if you like to add to your physical collection of movies and music. They have a large selection of records, movies, tee shirts along with collectibles.
Starting to become a little space. Very clean and modern with a good choice of shops.
Nice mall. All the chain shops under one roof. The food court is attract.
I'm have asthma I don't need too provide my medical information too anyone prove that too you dictatorship security. Hey paladin read the health act part 2 number #11 the right too refuse your gard too that from me today enjoy your lawsuit.
Definitely the best mall in the city. Very clean facility. A good variety of retail stores paired with a robust food court. I personally feel the recent renovations to the family bathrooms were a bit of a fail. For one, they're too small. There is only one closed bathroom, and it is a bit small - having more than one adult and one kid in there at a time would be a stretch, I can't imagine what parents with more than 2 kids do. I would have liked to see more of a set up like at Cross Iron Mills, where there are facilities for a child and adult in the same stall. The new entertainment centre for kids is pretty cool, however.
A decent mall by all means, has a little of everything for shopping, good food court, and usually very clean.
Meh...small town mall. It's bright and clean. Not much variety to choose from.
Beautiful, well kept park area, excellent paved trails to walk or bike. Also has a variety of activities, a snack place and a variety of events.
Generous assortments of stores for all your needs.
Good mall, very clean and nice. Just missing Tims, and Dollar store, and an Ebay games would be nice. But other then that, its great!
If you are going to use a mall in Red Deer. Choose Bower Mall, that is because the only other "mall" is dead. They keep dropping big name stores and nothing is left there at all now. So either shop at individual stores or come to this mall.
This mall has everything for amenities and it's actually big one if you compare with similar size of city.
Really nice stop over when you're on the road just looking for things whether it be from food to apparel they have it all! Being from Calgary I liked this mall
The best mall to shop at in red deer hands down! Lots of choice from authentic apple repair, to prescription drugs, to great food!
The layout of the mall is great. And it's very easy to get around, great layout especially easy access to Shoppers Drug Mart via the mall. Great selection of stores in the mall, but sad that some major dept stores have left that mall. . . now sadly Sears is closing it's doors ????????Good parking selection at the many different entrances to get inside the mall. Easy to get to, and close to where I live. ????☺ great food court and the bathrooms are nice and clean, and very easy to find ????❤????I love it!
Well kept, and much nicer to be able to shop here indoors than the huge outdoor big box stores that are across distant windswept expanses of dangerous parking lot.
Great decor all around. Very accommodating shopping mall. The food court has good options and the sunterra market is opening March 16, 2021. I’ll be back through my travels.
Has most of the stores you can find in big cities. Nice place to relax, shop and eat. It's never crowded which is a plus.
Nice all the changes, it's refreshing to see, and comfortable to be there, it's exciting to see newer or upscale stores coming in and the regular stores like shopper's drug mart expand their beauty boutique, to the degree they have. Overall a good visit
Masks and social distancing was good, and the amount of people in the store. It’s nice that people and companies are taking these pro cautions seriously.
It appears to be undergoing alot of construction presently and the overall local economy seems to be impacting the store quality and availability in the Mall. Hopefully the construction/renovations lead to some re-invigoration to the availability and offerings here.
Very nice and relaxing mall with a western theme. Sushi and crepes are my favorite at the food court. Very clean and large toilets facilities. Sunterra new store.
Good sized mall with a get selection of stores to shop in i suggest locking your car and putting valuables in the trunk here
Need to add a Cabellas or bass Pro Shop or IKEA, lol
Great feature of the city. For a mall this size it has a lot of great stores and food options. They should make the old Target an expansion for more stores. Plenty of room for it!! The mall is impossible around Christmas. Parking lots are insane. Even Santa's car is parked there.
Too much renovation and allot of shops out of business.
Bower Place mall is a good place to shop. Shoppers drug mart has an optimum card which gives me points when I spend that goes toward future purchases. I like the Bay, although I do miss Sears. The food court has a good variety of options. Subway and A&W are both good.
Lots of good stores. No vacant spots. Not a lot of pressure sales kiosks. Pretty decent food court as well.
I have no problem with the shops in the mall... my beef with this place is the recent renovations to the washrooms at the food court! Why in the world would the mall choose to do this during a cold snap where temperatures are -30 or even -40, and only provide outhouses for guests!? Could they not have at least done one washroom at a time, so as not to be a major inconvenience!? How about the sign at the renovation site informing us that the temporary bathrooms are outhouses!? This arrangement was not ideal for myself, and completely inappropriate for my toddler aged daughter. Thankfully we were able to make it to the bathroom in ToysRUs in the nick of time! I hope the mall will use the criticism from myself, as well as other patrons, to avoid shortsighted moves such as this in the future.
Good place for clothes not for much else though.
Pretty much have everything you need in this mall. Food court is decent size as well.
Decent selection of stores for central Alberta. Generally quiet so most things are in stock unlike busier malls in bigger cities.
Love this mall. Beautifully decorated around Christmas Time. Well laid out as well. Not too crowded. Great atmosphere. Great stores!!!
Bower mall is the best mall in Red Deer by far. While it is not as large as the malls in the larger city centres like Edmonton and Calgary it does have a few amenities that make it the best mall in Central Alberta. Lu Lu lemon, the bay, shoppers drug mart, Sephora and a cafeteria with a good selection of food made it a well round facility. The customer service help desk is located at the stores main entrance and the staff are always willing and eager to help. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there is always room for bringing in larger stores like Victorias secret or a Mac store... Always room for improvement right?
Perfect place to shop . lots of selection. With there were a few more stores but there coming soon :)
Too many clothing stores. Not enough variety.
Good place to shop for your consumer needs and wants i recommend this place if you are planning a shopping spree and have the means to do so great stores and the food court is prime two thumbs up for variety and services offered
This is a mall. It has a great selection of trendy shops to choice from. As well as a food court, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sears and the Bay
Love the mall, great selection of stores however the food court is a different story...at least with the new Pannizza place that took over where Arby's used to be. My fiancé and I decided to try it not long after it opened, we were so excited to try it but what a disappointment! It was the worst pizza we have ever tasted, it was like cardboard with very little flavour and not enough toppings or cheese. What cheese was on it seemed so fake and didn't even really melt, not your typical pizza at all. We wont be going back, and we don't recommend it just save your money and maybe hit up pizza 73 instead..they have awesome pizza!
I enjoy the food court and store selection in this mall. The facility and washrooms are nice and kept clean. We enjoy coming to this mall to visit Santa at Christmas.
I went to spencer in the mall on aug 1 around 8:00pm and there was gentlemen and a young lady who were really awesome they went above and beyond there job title. Keep up the good work
Really like going to this mall when I get to Red deer. Variety of stores has something for everyone. Very clean inside and washrooms. Check it out you won't be disappointed!
Very friendly staff from the guest services. Food court is good and mall offers kinda of everything in one place.
it's nice clean place
Mall is clean quiet atmosphere, mall cleaners very friendly and security. Shall we say barbies night out was a complete disaster retailer employees standing around or sending staff home, bring back red and white night. I bet if the mall actually did a survey it would be horrible results from this event. The tall lady who worked in customer service was not nice, and some of the other mall staff. Overall the mall was nice and welcoming
Very clean and plenty of stores to keep anyone occupied plus the art is very neat
I'm not big on malls in general but this place is nice and convenient
Mall has friendly maintenance staff hallways always clean. Security can be okay just stating they are there for themselves you do see them at night without masks. They stopped caring so the stores now have employees falling ill because security is failing to watch mall hallway capacity limits and because of that they have no idea actually how many people are floating around in the mall. Then the customers come into the stores and think its okay not to wear a mask then infecting employees. I guess this is okay since security does not care. The lady wastes her breath talking about an announcement that doesnt matter as customers walk around without masks. Come on people start actually caring about your tenants and staff. Security are not the only ones dealing with stress and abuse. Wake up i guess you would understand if the mall people were actually in the mall.
I’ve only ever seen one janitor actually cleaning and not just pushing a cart around - her name is Lizzy. She’s single-handedly the hardest working person taking care of frequently touched surfaces and working to keep everyone safe. If you’re at the mall take a moment to speak with her and thank her for her hard work and dedication (she’s young, blonde and usually has her hair in a ponytail). She was very appreciative of me taking the time to ask her for her name and thanking her for her hard work.
Good variety of stores. Clean. Friendly staff. Strollers available for use free of charge.
Love this mall as well. My fav is Koryo korean barbeque is the best. Especially the bbq chicken burger. The sauce they use is scrumptious yummy yummy yummy
We didn't stop so I can't share my experience
GREAT Stores inside the Bower Mall, so grateful to have such a nice place to do some shopping or even hang out. Grab a bite of food and meet new people!
It's a pretty big mall size, looks like the old target is still empty, maybe bower mall could ad a movie theatre? Or another bowling alley or something attractive for Red Deerians?
Best mall in Red Deer but given the competition that isn't saying much. Decent selection of stores clean but parking can be a bit of a show especially in winter.
Toys r us. Ok wasnt busy yet. Shelves packed with merc. Got most of grandkids christmas shopping except what Santa brings. Hope he wears a mask!
I don't understand why they are limited the amount of open doors to get in and out. It just forces all the people to touch the same doors. Same goes with the paper towel dispensers in the bathroom.
Horrible security don't spend your hard earned dollars here they could care less that your grandparents fought in wars for your charter rights and freedom's Paladin Security is gross and the dictatorship security.
Beautiful place, I do go there for eye appointments. Shopping for kids dress and my wife's dress.
Excellent mall we are here for a lil while so we will enjoy the hospitality of red deer
Most stores are packed too tightly with displays. Hard to walk when busy
Sorely disappointed with this malls Santa event. I attended the one last year, I have to say dropping the ball! I don't know if you consider the community of red deer important to your mall or not? I went with my kid last year, the decorations were amazing, the atmosphere was charged, elves dancing, music playing. Story time with Santa and Mrs Claus! This year, three break dancing elves, build a cookie, craft Thomas the train, and take pictures in front of a cut out train? A 10 year old could have done a better job planning this event. I hate to be all negative Nancy but this whole event was horrible. I wanted to go to your red and white night, but even that looks like it is changing. Not excited. Hope you change it next year.
Good selection of stores. Only missing a few types of stores. Easily Red Deer's best mall.
Nice mall well looked after with good selection of stores
The Management are liberal Idiots. Accuses people of being racist over something she heard third hand. My Chinese Girlfriend and black friends would disagree . The over priced rent and the fact they take a portion of the stores profits after the high rent is paid, is the reason the prices are so high. Go buy your stuff at stores outside the mall and save money.
Best shopping center in town. Tons of store variety. Help desk is always friendly and I find that the bathrooms are always clean. Tons of parking all the way around the mall as well.
At 9:30 in the morning as the shops open, it is quiet and peaceful. A quick in & out stop, for what I needed to get.
Love shopping in this mall. Love Marshall's they have some really cute ladies clothes. I was extremely shocked at how many people were in the food court. There was hardly any empty seats so you couldn't eat until someone's get up and leave. It was a really full and busy mall yesterday.
People were very helpful and glad to see you. Mall staff very good. Good management. Clean
I rarely go to Bower Mall anymore since the Gap is no longer there. It was one of the better clothing stores for all age groups and the service was great. I heard that it left because of the outrageous rent. Since that happened I usually go to either Edmonton or Calgary to shop. I know I’ll alway come back with what I need and want!
Been here since I was a kid, always consistently good, just don't leave any valuables alone because theft is easy
Close to my house.. nice but not so many vegetarian options in food court
Why do you allow ur tennants to vape while they are working at softmoc?? Makes no sense, dangerous for the mall and especially if someone has a reaction
This mall tries very hard to stay relevant in the world of online shopping. Clean and modern with some good stores. It is light years ahead of the other mall in Red Deer.
I went there looking for a specific piece of jewelry for my wife. This is a great mall for shopping for jewelery of many types and value. I think there were 8 jewelry stores in this mall. I found exactly what I was looking for!
Has a lot of different great shops, and a huge selection in the food court. It's usually fairly busy and extremely hard to find a shopping cart.
Great mall, lots to do, and good services too
I went to lenscrafters with my son today. I have never had such an efficient service. Dr.s were on time for appointments. People were super helpful at the store (but not pushy) and my son and I had our perfect glasses in an hour! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for glasses!
Love this mall, has everything, clean well maintained
Mall is very nice market is nice should have had a vip night not just for your mall workers but maybe should have sent an invite for your tenant managers actually make your tenants feel welcome and actually noticed. Otherwise mall is okay.
As a mall customer, how do you expect everybody to use your portalet outside when it is snowing and wind blows so harsh?...seriously?.. out in the cold?!!? ...and yet the family washroom inside can be used by male but not the by a female nor by those ladies without a child?!? You might wanna rush the renovation of the washroom so customers of all your tenants will not be dismayed with this season-long situation and might decide not to come to mall anymore unless washroom is ready.
Nice, easy going feel to this mall.
This mall is nice. However has a lot of empty stores and those that are there seem to make their own hours of operation ( not following mall hours)
Why would the mall not have a few wheelchairs available for seniors? I'm sure they use to.
Still the best Mall in Red Deet
I love this mall, it has everything you need. It is clean and bright and just the right size. New stores opening is a great benefit for those who do not want to travel either to calgary or Edmonton or even cross iron mall. Food court has a good variety of food from hamburgers and fries to healthy Freshi food. Bathrooms are clean, could use a spray or something once in awhile just to freshen up the smell. My favorite stores include the Bay, Lulu Lemon, Bath and Body, Bootlegger, Dynamite, Le Chateau, Chatters and I could go on and on. Its just a go to Mall
Best mall in Red Deer
This mall has really improved over the years to have some great, relevant stores, and a good maintained atmosphere.
I went to the mall to but a new pair of boots. I went to 4 different shoe stores and was not even approached. I went to the Bay and had excellent customer service. Needless to say ,my money was spent there.
50 year mall going through major renovation with new stores.Pleasant food court
Great stores and the food court area is a must stop, good eats and great place to shop.
The security guards at Bower Place go above and beyond! They are all great people, do their job well and put up with a lot of abuse. I'm thankful they're in the mall to keep tenants, employees and customers safe.
Clean, lots of good stores. I like to take my kids here because there are things for them to do and you can borrow strollers so you don't have to bring yours.
Thank you to the wonderful security team at bower. Having to deal with the public is never easy.
Nice mall to shop at.
Show up on a Sat to watch guys with neck tattoos try and hit on the poor hair stylists at Tommy Guns while you chomp down a Cinnzeo. Plus you can stop by one of the 15 jewelry stores each one "going out of business." Don't forget to bring the family
AVOID: Do your Christmas Shopping ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Ew! My family had the worst mall experience at Bower Mall this weekend. Security Guard on a power trip threatened my family for sitting on a bench outside of bikini village. He said They had received a complaint that we were "trash talking" and kicked us out of the mall. I actually thought he was joking because we were sitting as a family talking amongst ourselves. When I told him that he must be mistaken, we were just Christmas shoppers, he became more aggressive. He would not show any identification when I asked. What a creep! My daughter was so frightened and we will not go back. I suspect that it was because I had lowered my mask...
All your regular stores plus a few specialty. Good food court. Something for everyone!
Nice Mall and a lot of room for walk around
A great local mall in Red Deer. There are lots of great stores including Sephora, Toys R Us, Lululemon and Hudson's Bay. The mall is also adding new stores with an expansion. Overall a great mall with loads of shops. The location is quite central and there is tons of parking.
I remember when I worked here as a teenager and this mall still has been able to stand tall and be a great place to shop even through the recession. I actually love shopping here way more than any mall in Calgary because in Calgary, the selection is over-picked. The stores here are always well stocked and you can find those rare clothing sizes fairly easily. When I come back home from Calgary I always make a point of coming here. It's lacking those high end stores which is fine and I don't really shop at anyway. If you're looking for super top brand names you'd come to Calgary but for average people like me this is a nice place.
This mall is better than the other malls in this city, it's pretty big but unfortunately the old target that closed is still empty. Maybe they could use that space for a movie theatre and arcade? Or another GoodLife fitness location. Walmart is already across the mall so it can't be that, or maybe add more mall hallways and stores to expand the west wing?
Good variety of stores. Really nice looking modern mall. Lots of room in the foodcourt. Lots of parking.
Meh.......it's ok. It has some nice stores and a nice food court but alot of people who work in the store's there are not very friendly. Very money driven mall and not very customer friendly or community friendly.
The food court has a wide selection and a nice seating arraignment. Sit by the fire place and enjoy your lunch. The mall is a great place to do your shopping and find all kinds of interesting things.
Good places to park everything people need ,and me been thinking one night that could be great place among near midnight to help teach the girlfriend to drive my big truck .
Busy during the holidays, nice to see everyone following covid restrictions with limited capacity! Merry Christmas and a safe, healthier New Year!
Great! The people were happy and the service was fantastic.I found some great deals to use with my gift card.
Great office! Dentists are very professional, staff are kind. Very smooth process from waiting room to chair.
Lots of stores, food court has a lot of selections, like the location of Starbucks- easy access from in or outside.
Something for everyone and every need. Contains some of my favorite places: Think Kitchen and Koryo's( Korean food..yum!) .
Good mall where you can find a bit of everything.
Nice layout, bright and open. Easy to find the stores you are looking for. It's a shame they closed the sears, but I understand they are redeveloping the old target location so hopefully they can bring in more stores soon.
On 10-14-21, I was denied seating as a security guard asked for my medical information in violation of Canadian law. No matter what side of the debate you are on, allowing segregation will lead to more overreach. Fight back, do not shop here.
Cute stores alote of options food court was good. And I found everything I needed quickly. ONLY downside. Is that it closes pretty early
To many changes. They can't make there minds up . where Eaton so used to be. They build a second floor Eaton there a few years then knock it down for other businesses now building it up again for new businesses. Why can't they make their minds up. Just more of our money foolishly spent.
Great mall to shop
Good mall, great for a quick trip.
First time to visit here and I was so amazed. So classy!
Security here is a joke. During the epidemic, no mask, no problem. Great job guys
Beautiful mall with tons of options, I love it there but I gotta say.. they keep the heat just slightly too high ????
Fun place to shop the indoor market is a super cool addition. The major problem currently is the bathrooms are porta potties. When i spend money at a mall I dont expect to go outside in minus 20 weather to use a bathroom.
Good selection of stores
Decent mall overall, always clean but could get more stores and expand.
Mall is still really nice, Clean. I see security has not changed much. Creepy jo is still there still rude as ever and does more flirting then working. Nice to see more options down at the bay side.
Nothing like walking through the Bower Place Parking lot this morning and watching a mall employee talking on there cell phone. While driving a Vehicle that has large print on the side it saying Bower Place. That sure is safe.
Its a mall :) if I enjoyed shopping then its a good place. Not as many empty store fronts as other places so that is a plus.
Bower Place is a nice mall! A good selection of shopping available. Very nice interior and well maintained. Lots of parking all around the mall.
Is a great place to shop, a variety of stores makes it really easy to shop for anything. Really friendly staff and strict covid 19 rules.
Better than parkland but still has a lot of vacant stores. Can't wait for things to get normal again!
Lots of nice stores
Lots of good stores. Security is a joke. Mall forces employees to park out in the boonies.
Pretty empty but the places that we did visit were very friendly and accommodating.
Went to toys are us. Back doors are closed go in the front
The staff member that helped me make purchases for my grandmother’s funeral was lovely and so helpful! After the funeral I had to return 2 items that I didn’t use and the manager of the Bower Mall Cleo’s was rude and completely disrespectful. I will not shop here again!
First time going there....not a bad selection of stores...will be returning.
Food court has a good variety, friendly staff throughout all the stores and very clean! Great place to spend the day shopping!
Stores and food court are pretty good and clean. Parking lot is terrible! Their parking rows are so close together and the stalls are narrow and short. Winter is the worst for parking, every winter I get blocked in at least once because there is not enough room to back out of a stall. I'm in a large SUV, I can only imagine the trouble of the trucks in their lot with less turning radius. They need to repaint and fix the tight parking lot.
The security at this mall is very rude and likes to pretend they are cops. My mother in law was banned from the mall for a year for feeding my 2 year old daughter a pretzel by the Christmas tree. I've lived in Red Deer area for ten years and I will no longer shop in this mall. Our Family dentist is here and we will be switching to one outside the mall
I remember the mall when is was not so nice. It's hard to imagine it is the same building as it was 20 years ago. I hope we all appreciate the massive work and investment that has gone into upgrading this mall to what it is today. Beautiful.
Used to love this mall then they hired all these douchy security guards who act as if they are cops. There is a difference between not wanting to wear and mask and physically not being able to. Im far from an anti masker and anti vaxxer. But then i get asked for medical proof for not being able to wear a mask?? This is by far unacceptable for them to ask for my personal medical proof. Absolutely disappointed.
I personally like Shopper's the best. Get points, decent prices and staff are friendly
I enjoy only one store that day I was there,And that very special store was be Spencer's
Staff doing a great job of cleaning
A lot of different retail stores, everything you need for clothing, makeup, shoes/boots and an awesome food court! Very busy place and clean!!
The guys at T booth are number one in customer service I had a problem with a speaker that I had bought a few months ago I brought it in they didn't have the speaker that I had because it's a new generation and now but they tracked one down at another store and have it sent to them so I could get a new one instead of having to go to JBL myself and ask for a new speaker. And when you buy your phone from there you get Hella discounts they give you like a certain percentage that you can use in store to buy any accessories that you need where do you get that from Best Buy doesn't do that Walmart doesn't do that t Booth rules!
Located Carter's in the mall in Red Deer, however it wasnt without much difficulty due to construction... Parking was awful and inconvenient.. If u can.. Wait until you get to an outlet mall of some sort or WEM.
Covid practices in place. Stores monitoring how many customers can go into store. Sanitizers encouraged at certain stores Great Job!!
Great customer service. Social distance in place, must wear mask .
There are so many great stores in this mall! From Lush, David's Tea, Wicked, and Spencer's to the massive variety of food vendors. I'd like to say there is something there for everyone. A draw back from so many vendors under one roof is the sheer number of people sometimes. Really its a small price to pay for what's offered. Its super easy to get to, either by bus or driving. With a few of the larger store spaces being closed at the moment that leaves for more than ample parking around as well!
A little more variety than Parkland mall. It'll be interesting to see what replaces the vacant Sears area.
Forgot to add a review earlier. Whenever we visit central alberta we like to visit this mall because of the nice wagons and horses on display in the ceiling.
Only go for the food court. Most stores are overpriced and the mall has little to offer outside of clothing stores and hair salons.
Fair selection of stores and products throughout the mall. However like most malls the pricing is far too high and it is very crowded on popular shopping days. Good food court selection though
Just stopped in to check things out.
Stopped in a BNest to see their exceptional art and creativity Awesome local business
This is a great little mall to get a pair of shoes or a something different. The food court is nice, However they do not have Tim Hortons. They have a wide variety of phone carriers and typically can find what you need. Two of the big box stores are now gone with the exception of Hudsons Day. i recommend parking on the North side of the mall as it will be much easier to exit when you are finished your shopping.
Once pushed my folded folding bike into the mall went to by an orange Julius and the guard kicked me out said I couldn't have my backpack sized bike beside me well I was getting a drink. And then said there were signs saying no bikes allowed and that the symbol was painted on the side walk. There had once been these signs but they were taken down at this point and the signs had faded from the ground with the spring melt.
Good selection of shops. Kept clean and well marked for social distancing. Overall a good indoor experience
There is a wonderful makers shop called Pretty Made things!!
Finding that more stores are limited to products ....its not the employees fault its covid. Appreciated the kindness of everyone Working ...
Convenient shopping but not a lot of variety.
Dump too many overreactive security heros
The food court is open and we love Starbucks And Greek food and Farmers market fresh fruit and vegetables
I specifically went to Koreo for lunch. Had the bulgolgi box (the beef with their signature garlic potatoes) So delish
There are plenty of stores here. Good variety but what they don't have, you can go to Calgary or Edmonton. Large, spacious, and clean. Has an infomation booth and strollers for kids.
As a whole, Bower Mall has enough to keep your attention for a little while, before it starts to become monotonous and just another mall. Their food court, while it has multiple cuisines to choose from, ranging from your A&W's and Subways to Umi Sushi Express and Freshii, lacks adequate seating, which is evident on busy days. It is convenient that the washrooms, Gloria's Alterations and the customer service kiosk are all located here. The shops and services here are somewhat plentiful, although you'll probably only find yourself going to a few after a while. There is no leisure areas to enjoy besides their benches. I guess the car viewing and Santa come once in a blue moon. It is a shame that they couldn't place a new supermarket (e.g. TNT Supermarket) or perhaps a kids play area (like a Moonwalkers) in the large vacant spot where Target used to be, instead opting for offices. I feel like this was a huge missed opportunity for future expansion. Parking here currently is abysmal, as any parking south is obstructed by the construction of offices. This leads to constant searching, and on busy days, expect to search for at least 15 minutes. Cleanliness is above average, as the place appears clean on most days.
One of the few malls that still seems to be filled with shops and not completely dying, while not using an amusement park, waterpark, etc. as a way to keep people coming. The selection of stores is broad and can meet most any need/interest.
Nice place - it gets tiring getting accosted by people selling silly toys and flying things in the aisles. It reminds me of going to a mall in Cambodia. Unfortunately it's the nicest mall in Red Deer so I choose to go to Calgary now.
It was great! My mom got a phone and then we ate lunch at New York Fry's. Not too busy on a Friday afternoon
Very helpful and friendly people there so nice thanks
