I just had the pleasure of working with Jake today, and he was outstanding!! I was a complete idiot and decided to walk out of my house and lock my door behind me with my keys still in the house, and of course I am a moron who doesn't keep a spare anywhere :) Thank god I had my phone to be able to search and call for a locksmith. Jake's business was the first to pop up because he had the best reviews, and let me tell you, those reviews were well deserved. In my mind, I was expecting all of this to cost me a few hundred dollars, and have to wait a couple hours for someone to show up, and that was not the case at all with Jake. I called him and he answered immediately, he told me he was with a customer but will be right out afterwards (in the ballpark of 45mins he stated). Within 20 minutes, he was at my house, and had my door unlocked in less than 5 mins!! He even made me 2 spare keys that I could keep in a safe place so this wouldn't happen again!! And everything was at an AMAZING affordable price. Not only was he super responsive and fast to help me out, literally only took him 20 mins from the time I called to get to my house, he did everything for an amazing, and very affordable price. And all on top of being super friendly and professional!! I can't recommend Jake enough, he is awesome!! He will be the only locksmith I ever use again in the future. Jake went above and beyond to help me with my complicated situation. I have a very old Mercedes ~ which most people are afraid of, but NOT JAKE! Originally, I lost my original key and locked my spare key fob in the car - which turned out to be bad & wouldn't start the car. I lost my keys. I called the dealership, and they said because my truck was more than 10 years old, they couldn't make a key for me. So I googled locksmiths near me, and started down the list. Jake was the 5th locksmith I called. I asked each of them if they could cut me a new key based on my vin number. (Which was the only way I knew of to figure out which key worked for my truck.) The first 4 locksmiths said "sorry, can't help you." Jake said "I can't do it by vin, but I can just fabricate a new key for you." In 20 minutes, he was on site, 10 minutes later he had my truck unlocked. 5 minutes after that he handed me a working, factory looking key, and was gracious and kind the whole time. Losing your keys sucks. I'm glad I called Jake.

Never answers/picks up the phone. Called 5 different times on five different occasions, never answered a single call... Very unprofessional. Re: Yes, I'm quite sure I called a multitude of times, considering I was locked out of my car, while it was running, while it was raining. Super fun.. Wait, you checked your phone records from over half a year ago?? (Because I called about 7 months ago at this stage). Unless someone else has a voicemail box setup to sound like your business, I'm sure it was the right number. I digress, maybe it was a busy day. Not sure, but the only time I got a call back was about 48 hours later. Which was well after I'd found a resolution to my saga..

The work Jake Bahn did was okay, but he sneakily added an emergency fee for what was clearly a non-emergency service. Naturally, when the price was so high I asked for an itemized receipt, there it was. It actually was an invoice he never had my husband sign prior to completing the work. Assuming it was an error, we requested a refund for the emergency fee only. He refused, became belligerent, got his wife on the phone (?), recorded the phone call, and threatened action if we dared to give him a negative review. When we filed a consumer complaint with the attorney general’s office (who was powerless to do anything about it), he lied and stated there was no emergency fee— it was just part of his normal pricing. Apparently he forgot we had a copy of the invoice. I know others who have had similar experiences with him, but they were intimidated by him and, as a result, chose not to file a complaint or negatively review his business. When he has gotten negative reviews, he has responded consistently in a predictably aggressive manner: accusing them of lying, quoting the definition of libel/threatening to sue for libel, and even posting a recording of a potential customer’s voicemail online. I hope no one else gets cheated by this man, although I’m sure they will because he knows he can get away with it. He preys on vulnerable individuals to make a dishonest profit.

It's Friday the 13th, so of course my son would attempt to unlock the door to the apartment with a bobby pin. Of course a piece would break off and lock us all out. Jake swooped in like Superman to save the day. He got to us quickly and had the lock fixed in just a few minutes. Not only is he very friendly, but his prices are reasonable too. I had locked my keys in my car around 8 at night, I called Jake's and he was at my location within 20 minutes. He was 100% professional, and was able to get my keys out of my car within 10-15 minutes. Jake also made me 2 spare keys right in the back of his work van. He made sure to test the spares in both the doors and my ignition! He had also made sure that my car had no damage to it after pulling the keys out. I can't complain about the price either, $100 to have my car unlocked and to get 2 spares made! He was super super helpful! Although I hope to never lock my keys in my car again, I would 100% call him again. I'd give 10 stars if I could!!

I had lost keys somewhere where they would never be gotten and I called Jake and left a voicemail and called back to make sure I left my phone number. Jake was phenomenal!! I called him after calling everyone in my area, and being turned down. I had called Lock & Pop Keys LLC Harrisburg and was told I would get a call back from Barry. Well, Dave called me back and told me he was not experienced enough. Dave referred me to Summit Locksmith, Summit told me they could not help me until Tuesday (today is Sunday) As a last ditch effort I called Jake, I wasnt sure he would be able to help me, being he was 45 minutes away...but he came up to Lemoyne and spent several hours trying to figure out how to resolve my problem. He refused to leave me without a fix. He was finally able to extract my broken key from my ignition, programmed me a new key and I was all set...and he did it all with a smile and great, friendly personality! This past Sunday we lost our only key to the truck we have. Jake was very responsive and came to our house shortly after. While he was making the key for the truck I had told him I lost my new Jeep Renagade key. We talked about pricing and I agreed this was cheaper than going to the dealership. We had a very difficult time getting in our 2005 Range Rover. We had the keys but the battery had died so the locks still don't work. Even manually using the lock it wouldn't work without a charge. We called a local locksmith who worked very hard for over an hour and was unable to get us in so I called a dealership and they said I would probably need to get a wrecker with a lift to transport the car to a garage on a dolly. This was going to be a very expensive tow. I called a tow garage and was referred to Jake. He said "no promises but I think I can get in". Jake arrived and had our car unlocked in a very short time. Obviously I'm very satisfied.

I drive an International ProStar 2013 (worse truck ever , don't even take it if it was free ) I was on a run and after being loaded in York , PA , My ignition switch / ignition lock cylinder was damaged , after calling 4 different locksmith companies , no one could come resolve the issue , Jake from Jake Bahn's came by and resolved it within an hour . He also made 2 keys that worked for both the ignition and the doors as opposed to the key I had which only worked for the ignition . Highly Recommend him if your in the NorthEast PA area .
