Still up for debate how my Key Fob was locked inside my Mercedes but unfortunately it happened. I called DML Locksmith based off advice of a Friend and I’m extremely happy I did. The scheduling was simple and easy and a Certified Locksmith was to my house in less than 30 minutes. Jay arrived bright and early and was able to Unlock my door to gain access to my Key Fob I locked inside my Mercedes with No Effort!

DML was amazing! My key wouldn’t turn in the ignition of my car and I was stuck at work. My ignition lock cylinder needed rebuilt. David came out within a few hours and had it fixed within an hour. He was friendly and knowledgeable! It was freezing out and he continued with a positive attitude. Another known locksmith said I would need to drop my car off at their shop and it may take 1-2 days. DML saved me from a tow and rental. I really appreciated the prompt service!

I called DML when my ignition switch on my car totally broke. I was worried about what to do bc I knew the dealer would charge at least $400-$600 and I didn't want the hassle of towing. My credit card information was used by this company without my consent. Somehow my credit card # were stolen. When i questioned this company i was told someone in Plano Tx gave my # but they couldnt not tell me how this transaction was paid. Either swiped or by phone. (?) They sent me the supposed transaction receipts of 2 different transactions with someone elses name. They proceded to investigate. Here is where i know they are scammers. During one of the conversations i had with them they asked me for my name spelling and the last 4 of the credit card so they could continue the investigation. And afterwards somehow they created a online square-up receipt that showed the transaction with my name and the last 4 digits of the card i had given them. They said they were wrong and the original 2 receipts they sent me earlier, were wrong. I never heard from them again afterwards even to this days with some sort of reasonable explanation which only clarifies they knowingly used my information without consent. I have never had my car towed in Texas. I live in Illinois. My advise when dealing with towing services is to always pay cash. Specially this towing company.

I had lost my car keys, stranded in the middle of the mall parking lot when David came to my rescue!! He was very quick, professional, and helpful (esp compared to the previous locksmith I worked with - he didn’t even know how to unlock the door so it took him about 30 min to unlock my door whereas David took about a min max) afterward I found my old keys but they werent synced with my car anymore to start my engine and David fixed that problem free of charge which I’m very thankful for! Overall DML is a very professional, good at their job, and has extremely friendly staff.

I came to their store location to get a duplicate of my car key made but the store was closed. When I called the number I was routed to what seems like a national number. I told them I’m at the store but no one is here and the operator told me that the technician is probably out on a job but will call me back with the estimate. Long story short, their head technician tried to charge me $165.00 for a key I just got done at Walmart for $2.00 instead. Yes you read that right. My key is an old model and doesn’t have any electronics or chips in it so it literally is just a matter of copying the metal.... When I mentioned that he told me “This is what our head technician told me so I relayed the information to you I don’t know anything about key making process” Needless to say I will never shop with these people as they just tried to overcharge me by +8200% !!

Called, made appointment for 10am, never got an update as 10 came around, was told that tech is running behind and will be there by 10:30, 10:30 came around. Then was told by tech they would come at 11, 11:30 came around. Still no update and no show. Decided to call another locksmith company who was about to come out in 15-20 min. Would not recommend if they can’t communicate. Lady also talked back to me and argued about me leaving a honest review. I had advised that I was not upset that they were late but the fact that they aren’t communicating letting me know how much longer it would be. Super unprofessional.

Have used this business over the years. They were professional and competent. Yesterday's experience was not. The person who came explained what the handle/lock set could not be installed on the screen door because the door frame was not thick enough. For the second door he would not even open the box to see if the new handle/lock set would work on the French door (wood and glass) that goes from the family room onto the porch. He stood there with foot out and hand on hip while my helper opened the box. The locksmith told me that he did not like having his evening interrupted and as he left he looked me in the eye and said, "Do you want to get nasty?” The creepiest experience I have ever had.

Terrible customer service not sure they even know the definition. I initially called for a quote since I have never hired a lock smith before I wasn't sure what it typically costs. Then I called back 30 minutes later and the man 'on call' could barely speak into the phone then proceeded to tell me they wouldn't be available for a few hours but he wouldn't let me make an appointment or give me any estimate of when someone would be available. He proceeded to tell me that he would call me back when someone was available, totally understandable since it was a Saturday, but then he never followed up. Companies don't care about customers anymore just dollars and this truly showed during this experience.

I have safety deadbolts that don't let you open the door from the outside on both front and back doors. Garage door opener was misplaced inside. Guy came in about 40 minutes after phone call right about the same time he mentioned. Put two inflatable pads in garage door, lifted the door away enough to grab the release and get me back into the house. Best money I ever spent. Professional and prompt.

We scheduled these guys for noon to re-key our new home and at 1:00pm they had not contacted us or showed for the appointment. When we called, they said they were backed up and would reschedule us. When we said no thanks we would find someone else, the guy on the phone just hung up on us. If you can’t show up for our original appointment OR take the time to even let us know you are running late, why would we want to reschedule? Not happy at all with the lack of communication or way we were treated. It takes some true disrespect for me to leave a one-star review, but this was just uncalled for behavior.

Amazingly fast to arrive and deliver key replacement service! We had a broken key for 2010 Pontiac Vibe and were stranded in middle of shopping center. Our tech David was courteous and sharp. My new key they made broke inside ignition, and I had to replace the whole new system inside that was couple hundred dollars. I don’t even feel comfortable to go back and talk to them because they were not customer friendly. When I initially went and had questions they treated me like I was being difficult instead of answering my legit questions. Or maybe he didn’t know the answer either way won’t go back.

On yesterday I was leaving work to go home and got to my car and my doors were locked. Immediately I started crying like I’m so tired of calling locksmith. My issue was I have One key that has the lock and unlocked buttons on the key which one of my co workers broke and refuse to pay. So if you lock my door and the windows are up I can’t get in. But make a long story short I called locked smith , I explain to the guy what my problem was, I got ready to sign for the payment and I said geesh what happened to $75 he said that’s our price , I told him I called the wrong one lol, but anyways after looking at my car Duston found a way for me to use my key and save lots of money.
