Very rude customer service and overly priced. Wasted drive from outside of Adelaide, don't waste your time with these greedy Locksmiths. Will never deal with Nelsons again. Avoid Grant if you can, a very close minded attitude individual who can't even smile.

Unbelievable bad service. I got a quote 2 weeks ago from them to fix my car door lock from person-1. I went to their shop on 1st Nov 2016 and got booking from person-2 for 2nd Nov at 11. As per booking, I drop the car at 10 am to person-1. At 12.30pm person-1 called me and asked me to bring back my car. He has no time to fix it. When I went to pick the car, person-1 said that person-2 should not take the booking as they were busy. Then why he has received the car by himself? Also, he sounds unapologetic and seems it is ok if I have a booking, drop the car to them taking leave from work (10km from my house- back home by bus), and asked to take back the car in the midday.

Rang up with a part number and was quoted $15 for the item. Drove there to collect the item, and the price was put up to $19 and I was told to take it or leave it. Won't ever deal with them again.

Very disappointed in the service from this team - firstly they do additional work that I specifically told them I DID NOT want done. That is they re-keyed an old padlock = extra revenue for them and extra expense for me. The padlock is not being used. Then without discussion with me they put the office keys on "pretend or fake" J4 restricted heads. The alternatives being an authentic restricted key or a standard head. So now when I want a new key cut the local hardware store won't cut it and unlike the old office with properly restricted keys Nelson's can't send me one on authorization because it is not a properly restricted key. Apparently this is now "my problem" and I should just take time out of my day to run down to Adelaide to their other store to get a new key cut. The chap from Clovelly Park said it was done to help them get repeat business. Great for them - not so great for their customers.

Charged me $25 for a very standard car key - only found out after it took the guy less than a minute to complete. Most other places quote $10. Absolute rip off merchants. Avoid at all costs.

Grant is a top bloke .I needed a small grind job on my new roof rack (not even his bag) .He stopped everything and did it in minutes and tried to do it for free!! Others wanted $60 .old school values all my locks will go there now for sure ???????? the best really

A little gruff over the phone but I can hardly blame the bloke considering the vague request I made. Saved me quite a lot by cloning a chip rather than having to buy and program new keys and remotes into my car. $70 for a new chip, but given how much of a pain the car was, it was a more than fair price. Good service and know their stuff, I would recommend their services.

The bloke that runs that store is a liar and will never get my business again. He took my ignition lock for repair on a Friday, which of course disabled my car from starting and told me I could pick the lock up the next day. He told me he would ring me when it was ready. Next day, no phone call and when I rang to find out if it was ready the shop was closed till Monday. So no car all weekend. Rang the after hours service and was told they couldn't contact the locksmith. Wish I'd read the other negative reviews before I went there.
