FROG GLASS WAS ON A SITE WHERE WE NEEDED TO REPAIR A DOOR DAMAGED AND KGB LOCKSMITH CAME TO OUR RESCUE AGAIN DROPPING EVERYTHING TO HELP US OUT SO THE SHOP OWNERS COULD LOCK FOR THE NITE , THIS HAS HAPPENED ON A FEW OCCASION ATTENDING WITHIN AN HOUR OF EMERGENCY THAT FROG GLASS HAVE HAD AND IT A CREDIT TO KGB LOCKSMITHS, FROG GLASS FEELS THAT WE SHOULD GIVE THEM RECOGNITION AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND THEY HAD VERY REASONABLE RATES.

The technician was good, no issue there at all. But the company charged me $190 to replace a broken spring in my lock! Be careful of the hidden fees. And make sure you ask for a quote, you won't get it otherwise, just a surprise invoice! Generally lack of professionalism. I won't be back.

I had rung a number of companies throughout Brisbane regarding some work I required in a timely fashion. The companies I had rung days before I spoke to Sharon at KGB Security were yet to respond to my messages and inquiries. I called KGB Security and spoke immediately to Sharon regarding the work I needed, she stated she would call me back; in my mind I was thinking, here we go again. Within ten minutes Sharon had called back with a quote, and being happy with the price, I asked about the timeline, thinking, maybe some time next week. I did explain that without the work I required being completed, I would be unable to perform my role. Sharon, was able to organise the tradesman for a few hours later that day. Sure enough, five minutes before that set time, Paul, the tradesman arrived, looked at what he needed, went to the van and returned to perform the work. The entire transaction, from initial phone call to letting the tradesman out the door, took less than a day. In 2019, this is rare and surprising. If you need old fashioned professional and personable service with a company that provides excellent tradesman-ship at decent prices than forget the rest and call KGB Security. Called KGB security about my heavy timber pivot door, to install a door damper to stop it from slamming. Kel asked me to send photos of the door mechanism. He called back shortly thereafter to advise me that we have a door damper already, so no need to waste money for one. He taught me how to adjust the damper - 'tramsom closer'. It worked! My door doesn't slam any more. It only took me a few minutes and a screwdriver. He saved me lots of money. They are the most ethical and professional locksmith. I'm very grateful.

Solutions Empowerment

Two days before Christmas I was locked out of my home that I had just moved into. I was caught in the terrible storm and couldn't get anyone to help me as it was holiday season and no one wanted to go out late at night in the pouring rain to help me. I was extremely stressed out and didn't know what to do. After calling the police, fire brigade and several locksmiths, I was about to give up when a friend (I called in desperation) suggested I call KGB Locksmiths. Much to my delight and relief, they were friendly and very obliging and arrived within half an hour to let me into my new home. Nice enough fellow, but work he did came undone within the warranty period. On calling back, got a very disinterested party, who said he would follow it up. No call, and months fly by with us hating tradesmen in the house, and having a number of useable doors, so didn't follow up. Now, needing doors fixed as visitors coming no help with cost decrease. I'd never use them again. I'll also tell others not to.

Worst transaction and customer service I've ever gone through, nearly 4 months of waiting and already paid in full, the delivery dates have changed about 5 times, I have called them about 6 times and they have no clue where it is in the delivery process. They get annoyed and try to blow you off when you're trying to find what the he'll is going on.

Several months ago I purchased a Yale front door lock and dead bolt from a hardware store, unfortunately it only came with 3 keys. So I asked the store if they could cut a few more for me , which they did, however they didn't work and their machine couldn't cut the security notch in the back. I tried a few other local places with no luck.
