Cost over $400 To change out 3 locks. They charge me $60 to drive the 2 mile to my location and $70 a hour. It took over 2 hours.

I prefer to go to Birmingham lock and key because in most cases they will have a blank for whatever key that you bring in to be duplicated. They're not iffy like the big box type stores

Had two Pella storm door locks re-keyed while I waited. The big hardware store guy made an attempt first but just couldn't get it done. Daniel at Birmingham Lock and Key had it done in about 20 min. The difference? Knowledge and experience. It was worth the short drive to have it taken care of by a professional in the industry.

I had purchased two key blanks for my older model truck (no transponder) and couldn't get them cut anywhere. The "big box" stores (Walmart, Ace, Lowes, Auto Zone, O'Reilly's) all told me they couldn't do "bring your own blank". I started calling locksmiths, and one referred me to Birmingham Lock & Key. I called and they said the could do it. Brandon who helped me was very knowledgeable about his trade. While I was there, I checked to see if they could make a replacement key for my camper top as I had no key to it. Brandon was able to quickly find and cut the right key for it as well. The prices were very affordable, and with quick service. I can highly recommend Birmingham Lock & Key and will be using them again for all my locksmithing needs. 5 STARS!!!

Nice enough people. Pricing is terrible. My fault though, I didn't ask the cost before having them cut a key blank I brought them for my car. Cost $98 just to cut a blank. Didn't include the blank because I brought my own or programming. I paid it because I didn't ask first. Won't happen again. The key worked. The dealership only wanted $60 for the blank and the cutting.

No one in the world could get this lock off but CODY. CODY is a Birmingham Lock & Key burglar. He was here on time and very professional and personable. He went in and I decided to sit in the car while he worked his magic by the time I got in the car and shut the door he was at my window lock in hand. ( NO EXAGGERATION) Took about 2 minutes. If you are a forgetful, absentminded, the only reason you have a head is because its attached to your shoulders person, put Cody The Burgler and Birmingham Lock and Key in your contacts.

My Honda key fob split in half, which I’ve read is a common occurrence. I bought a dummy key on Amazon, put the old chip in the new key, and they cut it for $30-40ish. Finding someone to cut this key was like pulling teeth with me driving/calling several locksmiths (a few told me they could on the phone, only to quickly turn me away). BLK turned on the machine and after it warming up I was out the door in 10 mins.

We had to have multiple locks with the same key but the lock had to be sized to fit our lock box at work! Guys down here said yeah sure we got that! I said certain lock he said " Yep Number 5 is what you need" I said I need 8 he said "Yep waitin for Ya at the desk". I went to 1 and called 3 before I got here! Just come Straight Here save your time/gas and effort! They have your Lock and Key Needs! Thanks Guys

I had a busted old safe from a decade ago that ran out of batteries. Tommy helped me and was very professional. He was able to troubleshoot the issue, but unfortunately the safe was unamenable to traditional methods to get it open. I told him that I didn't plan on using the safe again and didn't care if we damaged it, and he was able to jimmy the latch open. He even did it free of charge since it required damaging the latch. Overall very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Will come here again for any future locksmith needs.

I went into this location after speaking to a rep over the phone told him exactly why I was coming and what type of car I had he quoted me 60.00 to program my key fob and cut my key was 4.00, after he programmed the key fob and cut the key on the fob I brought in to his shop he changed the price to 95.00
