The price for both ended up being very good too. The staff was really nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a locksmith in the area.

I called Mr. Greene for a key that would not go into a keyhole at all. He suggested that I try some WD-40 before spending money on a locksmith. It worked like a charm. I really appreciate Mr. Greene's honesty. I wish I could comment on the quality of his work, but all I can do is comment on his ethical approach to his work. The day I actually need a locksmith, I'll contact him without a second thought.

But instead I was given a 2 step solution which took about 2 minutes to fix ( including finding the hammer). I am In awe of the customer service that was extended. Competent key copy, polite service. Greene could make me 3 copies of a key that another locksmith failed (his key didn't work). Very satisfied. The only downside that I can see is how someone with reduced mobility would be able to climb the stairs, since it's 2nd floor. But that is the building's responsibility, not Greene's.

Excellent service!! On time, efficient- changed my front door lock in minutes and it opens and closes like air! Best locksmith I have had yet. Competent and professional- also wore COVID mask properly. I had the locksmith make a key for a second door as well, which he did in 3 minutes. Definitely recommend Greene Locksmiths.

I came in to have a key copied. The guy told me it was a very rare, old type of key, difficult to reproduce, and he didn't know if he had the right model. He spent a long time presumably looking for the model. He then "luckily" found it, and said "It may not work, come back if it doesn't" - reinforcing the idea that it was a problem key. He charged me $12. Recently I had to make another copy of the same key (to the door of an apartment building) and I tried a local store. Turns out it's a very basic key, ordinary, standard, copying took ten seconds and cost $5, the woman who owns the store told me there was absolutely nothing special about it. New copy works perfectly. So that whole song and dance was in order to charge me nearly three times the correct amount. Not recommended.
